Associates First Capital Corp · S-4 · On 2/29/00 **RVO PAYMENTS** DESCRIPTION OF RESIDUAL VALUE OBLIGATIONS Go to page 42-43 http://www.secinfo.com/dRqWm.58sr.htm#1stPage
RVO PAYMENTS
There are no minimum payments on the residual value obligations, and depending on the performance of the underlying receivables and other factors, there may be no payments on the residual value obligations. If ultimately there are payments on the residual value obligations, it is unlikely payments will commence prior to January 1, 2004.
Payments on the residual value obligations, if any, will:
-be paid on the Payment Dates occurring in January, April, July and October of each year; and
-be payable to the holders of record on the December 1, March 1, June 1 and September 1 immediately preceding the related Payment Dates.
On each Payment Date on which the Accrued RVO Payment Amount is greater than zero, Associates will be required to make a payment (an "RVO Payment") with respect to each residual value obligation in an amount equal to the quotient of:
- the then-effective Accrued RVO Payment Amount, DIVIDED BY
- total number of residual value obligations outstanding.
If the Accrued RVO Payment Amount on a Payment Date is zero, there will be no RVO Payment on that Payment Date.
Sorry you had to burn another post! I emailed you, maybe we can correspond via email. Have a great day, like you did yesterday, today!
Hi LM...are you able to reply here (unlimited) or only ur 15 posts?
That means he is getting ready to short it!
Did you read the document? Its all about the arcadia merger. Since that time Associates was bought and taken private...anyway, have fun doing the DD...its a tough nut to crack...hope you solve it.
217 ..... it is all from pre merger with Arcadia. Means nothing now...imo
I am happy to answer any questions for ya...i know all there is to know, minus the secrets...lol I just dont think there is anything here. Unless its a shell that does a RM...which it does not appear to be...but you never know.
Hopefully you guys can find something here...I am done. Its just a shell that someone front loaded a while back and ran it up and dumped...it may happen again, but too risky for me. Plus, I dont like that kind of shady BS! Good Luck to you all
Yeah I know..I posted that....lol...But I can not get CITI IR on the phone and they never answered ANY of my emails.
I cant even find a number for citi ir...I talked to their ta and gave them the cusip number for asfz.pk...they did not show a record of it. Its been a while...i forget who their ta is...but it's in my old posts somewhere...I tell you this one is buried deep.
Not a chance in Hell...lol Would be nice if some group came in to raid this one...lol It moves like crazy...just dont be the last man standing!
I am pretty sure, because I cant get any confirmation, that ASFZ.PK IS/WAS going to be the vehicle that the RVO's were going to trade in/on...Just dont think they ever made a market for the RVO's..........but I dont think they have any value now...could be wrong as the CITI 10Q show the billion $$ account.......So I have no clue what ASFZ is????I think it is just a shell of some sort...could be wrong.
me too! I just want to know if CITI owns ASFZ.PK??? I dont think we ever got a denial...just that the rvo's are worthless per Arcadia's prospectus???...If CITI owns ASFZ...It is worth holding IMO
I didn't mean to be loud b4, just sayin'...ASS.First that traded on the NYSE was bought out in 2000 and was taken off the NYSE and is now a private company that CITI owns.
This ASFZ.PK may have resulted from the remnants of the old NYSE company...I do not know. The theory is that prior to the CITI buyout....Associates First merged with a company called Arcadia...As a result of the Arcadia merger....the RVO's were created. Now CITI claims the RVO's are worthless??? But they show them on their 10Q as a Billion+ $$$ account and ASFZ.PK SEEMS to be the entity where these RVO's are held??? I am really unsure what is going on....I did a lot of digging and met dead ends everywhere i went......and I went everywhere.
Dude...ASFZ is NOT the private entity Associates First Capital Corp! Come on...Associates First is HUGE and Private , CITI owned...Associates used to trade on the NYSE before CITI bought them out for 31 Billion Dollars in 2000 - Associates First Capital Corporation (NYSE: AFS)
Not sure what the heck ASFZ is now...very hard to get any info on it....if you own shares call your broker and ask them for the TA or any info they can give you.

Associates 1st, the billion $$ entity that CITI bought in 2000 is now a privately held company owned by CITI...ASFZ seems to be a by product from the Arcadia / Associates merger in 1999....It is all very convoluted and nearly impossible to get to the bottom of it. I called everyone imaginable and could not even find the TA, much less who owns ASFZ...I realize CITI lists the RVO's on their 10Q in Exhibit 99.1, but CITI IR wont acknowledge they own the pink entity.

So, it is a mystery. What is NOT a mystery is the fact it moves very easily....bring on some volume and it runs easy.
It's alive...lol...Seems to be getting semi active ... I never could figure out a share structure here or find the TA, but it has to be a low OS as it moves easily.
This one moves so easily, with any volume it goes back over a penny quick!
Where can I find the 8k? I only see the one from February...is that the one youre referring to? tia

What Does Is Mean to Buy On Margin?
Buying stocks on margin, to put it simply, is doubling your buying power buy borrowing up to 50% of a stock's price from your broker. In order to buy stocks on margin, there are a certain number of things to keep in mind. First of all, certain stocks can't be bought on margin. For example, any stock that is less than $5 a share (also called penny or micro-cap stocks) cannot be purchased on margin. In addition, IPOs (Initial Public Offerings, or companies that have recently gone public) also can't be purchased on margin until they've been on the market a certain amount of time.

I have a TDA margin account, no margin on pennies.
Margin call? You cant buy pennies on margin.
NO, that is from this morning's PR prior to this morning's CC. No other CC scheduled.
