500,000 on the bid at 10 cents is no joke. We'll see if those fill...….
This was already announced on twitter, just done via a PR to reach a greater audience.
I think the lesson learned here is to do them concurrently or not at all. Some people may have gotten excited without realizing that the market already knew and reacted to this... so it was brought quickly back down... whereas if it had been a tweet and pr the same day, maybe we would have stayed at .14.
No matter.... big news coming that will far eclipse whatever events we're seeing now.
GLTA!
Whatever happens today, good or bad, will be a distant memory when we get news and this thing blows up.
I'm sure 4 months ago someone messed up and sold too early for too little, but we're not talking about it now because it has no impact on current price.
By the same token I think today's decisions will ultimately be 0 impact.
Yeah I'd like to see us green every day.. but I just try to see drops as buying opportunities (though I'm just about tapped out!)
Seems that some may be making the connections I was making last night. Nice start to the trading day.
Good news is we're 3 months away from a court date! This is going to resolve one way or another before too long. The law is on our side and I have to think that Billy knows that. We've got over half the shareholders 'mobilized' to act where we can. Whether that's somehow getting a person on the board, or trying to freeze up the funds, or whatever, we got a rare chance to see what was going on behind the scenes and prepare ourselves. I know this is all a repeat of what you already know.. but I think it's still good news that's worth repeating.
We used to get so excited about how close the trial date was. I'm still looking forward to it, and I'm counting on justice being served one way or another. T-80 something days. We need to get a countdown going like back in the old days!
GLTA!
This is from a tweet today from Chamath Palihapitiya. For those who don't remember, he was the billionair Nick reached out to to discuss a project. Here is the tweet:
My plan to fix climate change:
1. Invest billions and partner w great companies to build products that eliminate emissions.
2. Reinvest all capital + profits to build America’s own vertically integrated climate supply chain.
3. Breathe clean air, high five my kids.
While it seems too good to be true... things really line up here. I mean.. we have great stuff going on.. Why wouldn't he want to be a part of it. What's not to like? I wouldn't make any SNPW investment decisions based on this possibility... because who knows? but man... for those of us holding, this is another thing that could be pretty exciting and yield some great results.
Nick is talking about opening some more of these Med plants in 2021/2022. The 2021 part catches my eye. We all know that it takes $10-$20 million to get one of these going. He's going to do more this year? It's an ambitious statement without some serious capital backing it up, so that leads me to conclude that Nick knows about some significant funding options... or he's thinking we're going to make so much from Solar that we can self fund. Either way sounds good to me.
Each day is more exciting than the last here in SNPWland.
GLTA!
On Fire! YEAHHHHHHH!
"We are actively planning to expand into other states in 2021/2022 and will keep everyone updated on our progress."
Quite the wall at 11 cents. Lets see what happens.
Yeah I know it's different and not related in terms of the business they do... I just thing that a rising tide floats all boats and we're in the same tidepool as some of them. Like you said... some crossover. But not much. That's about how I see it too. We're looking at 5 million share volume, though, so any crossover, however minor... could have an impact.
Either way.. all that will ultimately meaningless when we hear about other stuff. Also, they've posted a couple of articles on the MED FB page about how this will be good for the environment and all.... since you had mentioned controlling the narrative and all that.
We are getting more and more new buyers every day ( I am using twitter as a proxy). So... let it churn. We know that a large core of the shares are tightly held, and the spring is just getting more and more coiled as people catch on and we wait for news.
We know buyers will come as we get more news... and volume is very low because there's not much interest in selling at this price.
So... silly... but not a concern.
My thinking is that the Bitcoin/TSLA "drop" is going to be a drag on us. I think a lot of people here are also the Bitcoin/Reddit/TSLA type crowd, and so when other things take losses, this is going to get dragged along with it a little bit.
Once we get to a more mature stage as a company, I think this will fade.
GLTA
I love the word 'proprietary' in there.
Just sayin.
Nice green start.
We're one day closer to all the stuff we're moving towards. That makes it a good day! :) :) :)
Fair point... but I'd also note that what you posted states that "for the foreseeable future, we'll rely on..... equity financing"
We know this is not the case based on more current releases. This material is a bit dated, but that's kind of outside of where I'm coming from anyway.
I agree that they did use this word.... I'm just saying that I don't see the progress they've made the last few years as any type of failure. Low revenue-yes. Need more- yes.
I'm just a glass half full kind of guy!
All reasonable questions, but I wouldn't use the word 'failed' as I don't know that this has been the goal.
SNPW could have shuttered all R&D and made a few bucks off bus stops each year.... but that wasn't a part of the business plan.
So they didn't 'fail' as I see it... have just had a different focus, and one I fully support.
I do look forward to seeing more info and projections.... especially as it comes to panels. A lot of the MedRecycler stuff is known or can be estimated. The question there is not so much about how much $ we'll get from the one facility.... but about how many facilities we'll make.e
Panels are a wild card, though. We really could hear anything. JV, etc. Right now, the % efficiencies we're advertising on those are pretty exciting and I , like you, look forward to more detail in good time.
GLTA
OK y'all got me I'm putting shares out there too. I'm going more than a dollar though.
Fun times on this board. If nothing else, MMs will see that this is pretty tightly held.
The news was already known, the letter was dated mid-January.
It's a big deal, but for the most part.. already priced in.
We did learn a bit.. that SNPW accepted all the terms and was going to adhere to all the requests... but I think most everyone had assumed that.
It was still good to see posted. Great news, just already priced in for the most part.
Still plenty of room to run if good things keep happening!!!
Well, I agree and disagree.
Manipulating... who knows? I'm sure it's going on here just as it would be on any other stock.
Whales not loading- Maybe, maybe not.
Sentiment- Not sure on that one. Most holders here are still very positive. I don't agree that it's negative. If you give me a new car but then take back the custom windshield wipers... I'm still positive overall. Happy I got a new car. This stock is up big this year. 100% of holders would have been thrilled to be at 10 cents if you'd asked us 2 months ago. Sentiment is not negative.
Performance- I agree with your overall point. Current price is based on speculation and excitement and all that, but dollars are not going to come based on that. We are going to need to see tangible results. No disagreement there, except that I'd say that Nick is working on it and I don't have any problem with not having results yet. UL takes time. MedRecycler takes time. I am happy to get a discount from people who don't want to wait, and I think I'll reap the rewards when these things come to pass.
GLTA!
OUCH!!!!!!!
Well, holding for news anyway.. I need to take my own advice and shut this down til that comes.
Thought there was more support than there was.
It's a good thing in my opinion. If they're manipulating now for whales to load up, then it means we have more and more holders knowing what they own, which means that when this pops it will really pop.
If you have a bunch of retail holders, it's going to be hard not to sell at $1 or $2 if a big deal is announced concurrent to UL Certification or something. Whales would have already done the calculations and may be buying for 'billions' rather than 'a billion'... so it just less cheap shares will be available when solid news is announced, and you'll have less people selling on the way up for "tiny" gains.
So.... let them have their fun. Probably better for long termers in the end anyway.
GLTA!!
thanks for posting this. The sky is the limit, and even that's an understatement.
We are the future. Can't wait!!!
I agree that if Nick doesn't follow through, shareholders will be lost. I also agree that if the sun stops shining tomorrow, shareholders will be lost too. My point is, that is true... but I have no reason to think that Nick won't come through. I'm not selling in 3 weeks because the moment I do, the announcement comes in 3 weeks and one day or something.
Not that I'm doing Nick any favors here... but I'm just saying... I respect him enough to give the benefit of the doubt on a timeline. Would I like to hear something in 2 weeks? Yes. If he goes a few more without saying anything.. I might get a little frustrated, but I'm not selling... and in fact might just buy a few more.
Anyway... Nick is not the type to overpromise... If he says news is coming, then it's coming. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
Hard to say.. I think people in West Warwick are, for the most part, excited about it and trust their town council. Jobs and economy is nice. East G, I think they're not for it.. That said, if I was an East G resident... I wouldn't be either. They are not getting the economic benefit that West Warwick is.. What is there to be for? Landfill won't fill in 10 years.... that's a very abstract benefit.
Ultimately.. I'm afraid East G residents, at least the ones causing trouble, are not going to be pleased. DEM supports this and no one is going to be able to milk our CEO for money so they can sign off, for a lot of reasons already stated on here.
I agree that support is good... but I think the East G opposition isn't about the tech or dangers anyway, it's just about the money. That's fine, that's their right... but it's not our burden ( though I'd say next time.... ideally we can choose a place that doesn't border another town so we don't have to deal with all this!)
That's fair..
My only thing is that we might not want to 'Fan the Flames' by throwing a ton of money at a PR campaign and bringing attention to it... prompting the other side to create negative/misleading/false soundbites and all that.
Nick has answered all questions, tweeted all info, done all he's been asked. Some might be shaken by the naysayers, but if he's 100% convinced that this will go through regardless of the false narratives that are out there, then I'm fine with him directing most of the resources elsewhere... especially with UL/panels potentially being a bigger deal.
So. I don't know.. I guess it comes down to whether one thinks a PR campaign will make a difference. I think we all want a good narrative out there... but I happen to believe ( and have a significant amount of shares backing this belief up) that the outcome is going to be positive here either way.
So this 'creating energy' thing is something I wish we could all get on the same page about. Energy is not being 'created'. The articles claiming that something can't come from nothing are missing the point.
There is 'energy' in trash. It is not going to be used for anything else. We get energy out of something where it would otherwise be lost.
Additionally, the output can be used, and it will save space in landfills.
Those are two pretty key and basic points. I'd also note that there will not be revenue (to speak of) before the facility opens or UL certification comes through. That is a given and a point that I wish all holders could get on the same page about. Asking where revenue is before the facility opens seems odd to me. If anyone needs huge revenue in Feb/March 2021... they should not be invested in this particular stock.
As far as the narrative.. I think we'll learn more about that when the thing goes online. I have much less concern than you do about this local opposition. Therefore, I don't know that a narrative is crucial at this point, because the end result will be the same. Once we get it online, have eyes on it, and all that, then the narrative will be important as we look to expand. The trucks are a game changer, though.. and whatever narrative we could have spent days coming up with two months ago would be meaningless now, because the trucks change everything. Maybe we get something soon that completely changes things again.
This one requires a bit of patience. I believe those who have it will be rewarded. Good luck sir!
I have been thinking the same thing.
Roughly 4 million dollars worth of shares and he has no need to sell them. I had been saying for a while that he could if he needed to... and so the fact the he states that he has no need to must mean something huge is in the works. I mean... really big.
Even if RI and Durango are a big success... it takes money to recreate those things. Nick must have some kind of special partnership or contract lined up where it's a complete non-issue.
MedRecycler is too far away to be able to make this kind of guarantee.
My guess is ( though I admit this is more wishful thinking than anything) that when UL Certification comes through, that announcement will be followed a few days later by news about a Joint Venture or a buyout offer or something.
Speaking of UL, someone on Reddit mentioned that the average certification time is 6 months and we're through 7 months right now.
Hope we hear something soon!
Great point I'm embarrassed I hadn't considered. We knew the letter was out there, but we didn't exactly know how Nick felt about it. Clearly the terms are now onerous or undoable.
Nick and RIDEM are on the same side here. Both want a facility that is above reproach. Sounds like that can be accomplished!
If we move from Pinks to OTCBB they'll be able to?
That would be a win for sure... Though I'd still think the big pop from that one would come not with the move, but with UL or Medrecycler news.
Truth be told, though... there aren't that many shares out there. Lot of us are holding for much higher prices, and it wouldn't take that much interest to double or triple. What do I know?
Either way, I think uplisting is a slow process. I'm in another ticker that's been trying/waiting for months.. They say the rules and process have changed. They had some more bad debt issues than SNPW did, but those were resolved and it still seems like a wait. I'd hope we apply next week and get the process going so that we can uplist as soon as possible.
Fun times!
You know... I'm wrong on this.. the oddsmakers Do have her at only about 33% to get 67 votes or more. I took that to mean that's what was needed for confirmation.
I'm not sure of that though.. It may be 60 votes or it may be simple majority. Not sure.
Either way, I think we're good... but it's just something to follow... The fact that everyone in RI is encouraging her to go on and step down makes it seem like they're pretty sure she'll get it, so maybe I just made a bad assumption about there being a 67 vote threshold.
Either way, the future looks bright!!
Concern- Gina Raimondo
Looks like she is not going to be confirmed as Commerce Secretary. Right now the oddsmakers have it about 65% that she doesn't make it.
Nick's picture with her was around the same time as our big run, so if she doesn't make it we may lose some. All that said, she's still Governor and frankly, may be able to do more for us from that position anyway. Whether she gets confirmed or not, she knows folks and has the ear of people who'll listen.
It will be interesting to follow the developments. Right now, she's worse than a coin flip.
GLTA!
I said at the beginning of the day and will say it again..
I thought we might see a little pop from the R/S cancel, but probably nothing major. Most of us never believed it was coming and so it didn't change the valuation that much.
That said... Even though we did not take off today, I do believe that when UL/MedRecycler news comes in the coming weeks and months, this 'overhang' has been removed and the levels we go will be much higher than if the RS was still a talking point.
So... while it's not a huge catalyst in and of itself... It will help the true catalysts to be even more meaningful.
I kind of feel the same about the uplist too, for the record. We may gain a penny or two and get exposed to new buyers. That's nice and all, but that alone is going to be a blip. However, when the big news comes, the more obstacles removed like these two things, the bigger the gains at that time.
Have a great weekend all!
Green close for the win????
Who is "The Solar King"??
(Besides us of course!!! :) :) ;)
A green day is a good day. All in good time.
Ask 14.5 cents
Shorty better be sporty because this may make a run. :)
Glad I added a few yesterday PM!!!
Bid is already 12.7 cents.
We'll see what the day brings. When there were concerns last year, the stock dropped about 2/3 of it value when RS concerns came along.
I don't think we'd increase that much today, or even close, but I think it sets us up nicely for when the big news hits.... one less barrier to the moonshot.
Have a great weekend everyone!
great post.
We were seeing tons of volume a while back, I don't think the MMs will be able to keep up if there's a volume surge.
Most of us holders didn't believe an RS was happening either way, so this 'news' shouldn't be a shock to us, and if we held at higher prices, then it's doubtful any of us would sell on a pop for a secondary thing like this anyway. It's very nice to have, but this is not what's going to drive us to the heights most of us have been holding for.
GLTA
Indeed you are. Thankful for your insight as I'm sure many others here are. You should do a stock newsletter or something.
So was that you sitting on the bid at .12 at the end, or did you get all you wanted?
Once the market has time to digest the news, it seems there will be a little more strength and consistency with the bid than there was today. I guess people were just tapped out from a down market day.
The certainty of Nick's announcement really is a good sign. You don't say stuff like that unless you have all the funding you need locked up. You don't produce panels in 8 facility if you don't have the capital to do so. There's a lot going on and it looks like we'll hear about it soon.
GLTA!
Oh wow you're not messing around. $70k. Good for you!
