Added shares-I think it's gonna pop.
Doc I hear your point, and LVVV has been stagnant relatively for some time. But you need to keep perspective on this: LVVV is up over 1200% since I began tracking and buying it in Feb of 2017. Out of the 210 or so stocks I began tracking, only 76 are left, though I have added a few new-issues and Canadian companies worthy of note.
Only 20, TWENTY, of these remaining stocks are up over 100% in roughly 18 months time. LVVV is number 2 at 1273%, behind POT$N. Only the top 3 are over 1000% return. This industry is in it's INFANCY. You can't look at 1273% return in 18 months and complain about anything, really. Maybe it hasn't gone up since you bought it, but hey-that's timing.
The future is bright, and items in motion tend to stay in motion. LVVV is in a lull, but great things are going to happen-just not overnight.
GLTA
Most-certainly. Keep in mind the legal climate in Canada is paving the way for these mega-deals to emerge. In the US, with our legalization moving forward, but spotty, and with no Federal mandate, we won't see this.
If we were legal at the Federal level all hell would be breaking loose to the upside for US cannabis stocks.
41 up, 33 down and 2 unchanged. The ups are way up.
Looks like the big Canopy deal has re-fueled the speculative, albeit real, growth-aspect of this sector. This isn't 1910, when companies grew by actually doing the growth themselves. This sector will see growth occur by acquisition. Look at the Canopy/Constellation deal. You got one guy that grows pot, another makes booze. BINGO! The perfect marriage.
Courters will come to LVVV, and they will come aplenty.
Keep in mind that there are BIG growers in the area, from Coachella to Desert Hot Springs-the whole I10 corridor. Local demand for clones alone is huge.
Things look like they are snapping to. The sector has a pulse now. Look at $HMLSF. Big move. Big moves in the MJ indices as well: https://marijuanaindex.com/
Yes, LVVV needs PRs, but a rising tide lifts all boats. We need the cooperation of the sector. Mid-term elections can help greatly. Sessions resigns/gets ousted BINGO.
Place ya bets.
Now is a good time to add shares as funds allow, and on dips. The good news is coming, the team is in place. Patience is required. I grow Proteas from South Africa and some of them take 3 months to germinate.
I do think that LVVV has integrity (most importantly) and a very cogent business plan. Bill is very astute and has pointed this company in the right direction at the right time. I feel as though their value is growing, and that it will reflect in the share price soon.
Not to mention ACCRETION, not defecation.
That tends to happen when your soul is committed to to what you are doing :)
Seeing better breadth across the green board today. CVSI$ is whipsawing and throwing off the indices a bit. The big boys are churning up.
I am thinking that the license approval will facilitate news of the other areas you mention.
Indices are looking MUCH better:
https://marijuanaindex.com/
My pot stock matrix has 47 up, 27 down, 2 unchanged thus far today.
My matrix of MJ stocks: 50 up, 22 down-tide is turning. That Canopy deal has placed the sector on alert.
Heck look at CVSI from 13 cents to over 6 bucks in a year-LVVV can do this IMHO.
Totally diff. time and company direction. The in-roads of cannabis legalization combined with LVVV's current business paradigm make it difficult to compare today's LVVV with that of the past. Bill is steering this company in a new and better direction.
Our sister APRU is up a little bit today.
You make a good point. Are we seeing a trend beginning here? Constellation has the ability to start from scratch any operation you could imagine, but instead they KNOW that buying up Canopy is a STEAL at current share-price levels! At some point the shares of LVVV will be gobbled up and we will see very high-volume days with big up-ticks.
M & A will rule the day with Mary Jane.
Evenly weighted up/down, but the ups are more significant in magnitude :)
Aurora up 17% and HMLSF up 9%-looks like the tide is turning.
And if you grow it, they will come............
In my Cannabis matrix I have 53 down, 18 up and 5 unchanged. The tide is red in the general sector today.
Just look at HMLSF-it's taken a beating. It would be a nice one-two punch if meaty LVVV PRs coincide with a general up-turn in the cannabis sector. Not really a question of IF it will happen, but rather when.............
Seems, too, that with Bill's vertical integration the profit margins will be fat once the revenue stream/product lines are in place.
It's all falling into place nicely.
LVVV is holding it's SP nicely. I feel like we are at Cape Canaveral with T-minus 10 to blast-off. Nothing to bash here. They are proceeding forward as planned and have done as much in their power to proceed along a well-thought-out business plan as possible.
Rome was not built in a day.
Well-said JD
My pot matrix has 24 up, 6 unchanged and 46 down. Red day in Greenland. LVVV is holding up well. Love to see a 10 mill volume day.
40 up, 10 unchanged, 26 down :)
Sorry, 31 down.
My matrix today has 34 up, 11 unchanged, 21 down. Looks like breadth is improving, today.
In my pot matrix I have 22 up, 52 down and 2 unchanged. More anemia.
He does seem like a "go for a buck anywhere" kind of guy-but on some points I agree. US cannabis mkts. are undervalued, and rightly so due to legislatively stop gaps and uncertainty.
I look at it this way-what do we know for sure? We know that the US cannabis mkt. is in its infancy. We know it is going to grow. We know that the number of companies in this mkt. will both grow and be culled.
Will LVVV be one of the winners long-term? When and how fast will that happen?
If the past is any indication, LVVV will crush it. They have both industry and brand acumen. Good people at the helm. This is going to be a fun ride.
Interesting listen:
Here is the nonsensical thinking of our Government:
States are free to legalize marijuana, U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions said on Thursday, but his department plans to continue enforcing federal prohibition anyway.
“Personally my view is that the American republic will not be better if there are marijuana sales on every street corner,” Sessions said in response to a reporter’s question. “But states have a right to set their own laws and will do so.”
OK Mr. Sessions, but it is OK and with the Government's blessing that there is a liquor store on every corner in America???
What an idiot!
Canadian weed index sharply lower-US index is green.
Reverse 10-bagger?
