If they sold $80,000 in socks in 2 months last year why is it a "crock of crap" to believe the would do $250,000 in 12 months this year with the addition of 4 or 5 more products?
Lied? Its in the filing! CEO said there were no more 3a10's. It's required to disclose them. There have been no more filings on that subject so nothing new has happened in the past two days since anyone has spoken to him.
5 years going on 6 is not overnight but it does say something that they have lasted this long when most companies in the pinks have an average life span of 2-3 years. That and the turn around that has taken place over the past 2 years is nothing short of impressive when you consider what they were up against. Most people would have not tried to fix it or quit along the way. Demonstrates to me at least that they are genuinely trying to build a real company. If they make it to the big boards it will be a tribute to their collective military background, integrity and hard work. They have made a lot of promises and t see them finally deliver will give me hope for otc. Very FEW companies uplist from pinks. Out of 10,000 companies on otc maybe only 30-40 uplist a year (less than 0.5%). This will be an otc miracle for sure.
If I had to wager, I give them a better than 90% just because they have followed through on everything else and the process to do it is available to them but it is NOT easy so we will see. My business partner seems to think its inevitable that UATG will be a NYSE company trading in triple digits within 5 years! LOL he is obviously FAR more optimistic than I am. I sure hope hes right of course. What ever they are going to do it is going to happen soon IMO. I wish them luck! Sort of in my best interest to do so.
I agree that UATG is most likely being set up to be acquired. Only logical conclusion IMO. I do not think its nextcast though because they have not been doing any of the things that would indicate that they are preparing to go public and I seriously doubt UATG is going private. It would be too expensive and complicated with legacy shareholders like myself.
CEO has been very consistent in his assertion that they are going to uplist and actually has been making advances towards that promise (need to look beyond pps). If I had to guess they identified which company they are merging with well over a year ago and have slowly been restructuring the company to be acquired by another publicly traded company. The mystery company is in all likelihood a company traded on the QX in OTC or already on NYSE or NASDAQ. Thats the only way I see them uplisting and IMO opinion its happening soon. The A/S and O/S are the indicators, again IMO
$80,000 in first 2 months of launch their first ever product is not a couple dozen pairs of socks and you know it. To top it off that was before they started advertising and before they were on Amazon. It is also just one product! What are you going to say after they launch the other sock styles, the underwear, the sheets, the surgical soap and everything else? At some point even you will have to admit that while you may have a few valid concerns on O/S or even pps, that the company has been completely turned around in the past two years! Its kind of indisputable now but by then it will be really embarrassing to even try.
This argument also excludes the surgical medical devices they released videos of. Are you suggesting that surgeries are something any company can do without FDA approval? How much did the company invest in R&D to bring those products to market and be tested? What about the new bone pin? does that not matter?
There a lot of fake companies on otc but this one is not one of them. The problem is pps, I agree but you are not taking into consideration the 5 year history and the progress that has been made. You are missing the whole picture by assessing off of a snap shot of a few months and then not even analyzing the few months correctly. Increase in O/S with little to no effect on pps with increase in pps every time conversions stop? you really dont see it? There is obviously a significant demand for this stock and given enough time this stock has the potential to go far. JMO for what its worth
Price has NOT dropped in a month and O/S has increased by over 100m. Your explanation for that is "gamblers"? what will your answer be when O/S is maxed and price begins to increase after conversions? Luck?
The point I was making is that its a real company with real products and revenues with folks who are taking the business seriously. A company is not solely a stock price just because thats our entire world. Folks here have too narrow a point of view and are not seeing the whole picture
Easy. Its UAT NOT UATG. Its a private wholly owned subsidiary. The shares was form of necessity not function. Subsidiary, is OWNED by public company and as such needs NO real cap structure. It was obviously put in out of requirement of state or habit. no one forms a real company with 1m shares. thats business 101
Exactly my point! Everyone screams "selling" without the basic understanding that if there is a sale there must be a buyer! Why? Who? and why everytime the conversions stop the price goes up? Because there is a demand beyond the O/S!!!!!
A/S is not being increased. Once they max the O/S they are going to make their move! Its almost a guarantee! Patience will win out here
I just noticed that the complaints on this board seem to be about the O/s increasing consistently over the past month or so. Valid concern except for one small fact. PPS has stayed relatively the same and when conversions stopped the price rises almost immediately, every time! If you dont see how incredibly positive that is, then you probably shouldnt be trading your hard earned money in any stock. flippers only see negative and spread negative. too much emotion and not enough discipline
I dont usually take this tone but there is a serious lack of experience on this board and it really has changed what this board use to be about. Damn shame to because I really liked some of the folks here and enjoyed chatting with them.
So your suggestion is that now that you finally found one of the very few OTC companies that have actual products and are delivering them AND after 5 years of no revenue they finally have revenue is to attempt to discredit them and sink them all because you are impatient and dont like the pps. That sounds like a child throwing a tantrum in my opinion.
You mentioned "your investment". lol. How long have you been a shareholder and how much do yo have "invested"? Perhaps if patience is not your strong point you might consider a little "investment" in DD and see what you actually bought? Just a suggestion but like you I am tired of "sitting by" while everyone complains about things they do not fully understand and trade their hard earned dollars with the effort or attention to DD like children.
Seriously, everyone should read their posts and should be embarrassed. a lot of belly aching. Just sell your positions and go invest in all those other amazing otc companies with revenues and selling products with management that is actually doing something. Good Luck with that to borrow a phrase my friend here on the board.
Wow! I go away for a few days and come to the inmates taking over the prison. Lets get started.
1-The new Umbra Applied Technologies, corp was formed to move it out of Delaware to Florida. That was actually explained some time ago
2-The Umbra Group was also announced at the end of one of the videos that everyone here likes to make fun of. we still dont know what the company is for but one thing is for certain, its not to do a reverse split because you cant do that from public to private company. Not legal, no mechanism to do and to top it off there are no filings for a 15c2-11. Not even an 8 or 10k from public company filed to announce a sale which would be required.
3-The great idea to call the CFO to answer questions is not so great. You cant honestly believe that literally ANY CFO is going to take an shareholder call do you? Even if you reached him everything he would want to say would have to go through legal department first. Especially since every question being proposed on this board would be non-public information and would be illegal to answer if it wasnt already public. Side note, you could be reported for solicitation for insider information just for asking.
4-A/S being increased? Come on! If they wanted it higher why didnt they just increase it to 2 or 3 Billion when they did they last increase. What would be the real difference? Where the evidence to support that?
5-Company pocketing money from the 3a10's!? Ridiculous because that would be illegal and not allowed to begin with. I think some dont really understand whats going on here.
6-Shareholders deserve more than a shareholder letter? Have you missed the press releases, videos, letters etc? They have communicated with shareholders plenty over the past 6-7 months. More than once a month. What you really are asking is for the company to spell out how and when they are up-listing before they do it. What you want is them to do the DD for you and to be honest if you were running the company would you tell everyone what you were doing before you did it on something as sensitive as this? Not if you were smart because everyone on here would take advantage of it and trade on the information probably ruining the plan. lol. Come on you cant be serious with this stuff?
7-Dilution is not the same as conversions! it was done to reduce debt. It was disclosed in full. Read the documents. They are still converting from a month ago. This is not new no matter what conspiracy theories everyone comes up with.
8-I honestly can not believe that there are folks on here making fun of investors in "penny land". You think folks should be short sighted and flip stocks all day instead of trying to find the next Apple or Microsoft? This company might not be those companies but it sort of highlights whats wrong with the OTC and why. Maybe if we had more investors that were sophisticated and willing to do actually DD then companies would be held accountable and we would have more real companies on otc.
I agree. You are probably dead on with that
I spoke with him about hour ago. I will post the highlights shortly. Not much on NextCast except the are producing one of their parts for the new cast
You should call company and see if they would put a community board up on their web page
Now that conversion is done it almost immediately starts to shoot up! That is a VERY good sign. A lot of interest in this company/stock. When the new products are released it should be pretty darn good. After merger it will be even better IMO
I sent Mr. Umbra a message and he responded earlier. He and I will be speaking in 2 hours.
UAT videos just in case anyone hasnt seen them or wants to review and make suggestions as to what might be coming next:
https://www.youtube.com/user/UmbraAT
I forgot to mention that during my last conversation with him he mentioned that the prices for the next sock will be $20/3pack which is why they lowered the athletic sock price. The crew and diabetic socks will be about the same price give or take except for the high performance crew sock might be higher or sold in 2 pack instead. They were waiting on final pricing.
He wouldnt tell me pricing on sheets but I did find out that they were considering multiple quality and price point levels. Organic cotton is definitely one and regular cotton might be another although he was considering a microfiber sheet set with Hygieia because a friend of his is one of the largest manufacturers of highest quality microfiber. He said they made him microfiber sheets that were the softest hes ever felt and were really well made. I would love to be the ceo that gets to try new products we will never see!
Also, there are a few things going on with stuff for hospitals. Probably uniforms I am thinking. He wouldnt explain.
I was thinking with the amount of time and money they obviously put into their videos about Hygieia and the latest little video announcing UAT Biotech, it seems logical that their main focus is almost exclusively the products in the biotech division. They released videos on two types of surgeries they have done. One for Clearview and one for Apex implant. Why put those videos out if nothing is coming right?
Maybe we have been looking at the merger a little wrong. Maybe the merging company is not a defense or technology company at all. Maybe its a biotech company? Maybe they are looking to sell off the division or at least some or one of the products in order to capitalize the company? Maybe they are going to merge the company and become a subsidiary although I have my doubts about that because the ceo would then lose control which I seriously doubt happening.
Regardless, I think our focus should be on researching biotech companies and products. With what the company has said and with what we know I would think that all of the hygieia products are about to be released back to back (maximize advertising dollars) and then the Clearview and implant are coming. Those two devices retail for $2,000 each if I recall correctly.
I will try calling him tomorrow and see what I can find out.
They were patents on several technologies on chemicals and electricity, change to clearview and G2, patents pending on respiratory technology, cleaning water processes. One had to do with avionics and intelligent flight. Several references to some device that sterilizes operating rooms. Intelligent Active Camouflage and a few other things that I dont recall. The camouflage thing is interesting because they use to have something on their older website that was about something called something on a camouflage they developed. I will look through my old papers on the company to see if I can find what it was called.
They also found some "white" papers ( I think they are scientific in nature) that UAT contributed on in the defense technology industry with one of the major laboratories. I believe out of NY. I dont recall the name but they said it was significant and that defense products were researched there.
There are a ton of trademarks that have been filed as well and they found cases where UAT had several cease and desists issued to companies using names on things they owned or trademark/name infringement. They were issued through courts and even overseas all around the same time they filed trademarks. I was told that it looked like the company found people using there stuff and then decided to file trademarks. They can do it because they have had the names out there for years before anyone else and they wold most likely have the documentation supporting when they first started using the name. One of the orders was to a company trying to use the Umbra name in a technology field that forgave a million dollar fine if they stopped and rebranded immediately with a note stating they had no affiliation to the Umbra family or UAT (my attorney said he has never seen that in all his career). That and the CEO has relationships with a lot of folks out of DC and government agencies.
My partner doesnt speak with him often but did speak with him over the weekend after I did. My partner has several patents himself in the agricultural industry and is one of the smartest guys I know. He went to some pretty darn good schools and knows everyone in the business and many in the government. Hes the one that originally checked out Mr. Umbra and found out his ties to government and mutually known politicians. During the course of their conversation they apparently realized they both knew the program manager or director (sounded like hes a big wig) over at DARPA. My partner called me and told me they are working on some pretty serious stuff and that he has a meeting with Mr. Umbra in 2 weeks to go over something related to his field of expertise. He wouldnt give me anymore specifics but I am assuming its something with agriculture science. Not sure what they have that fits into that and I could be way off for all I know.
Its not about socks its about a textile that is conductive and transfers data! Defense industry. The socks were a product that they could leverage in civilian sector for immediate revenues. Plan worked to because the sold $80k in socks in first 2 1/2 months of launching
They already have hygieia underwear on their website. You are invested in this company and missed that? It was kind of a big deal here on the board and discussed a few times
$35M in assets. This has been proven and discussed many times
Wow!If they are full of it why are you invested in the company? Very strange
Wheres the smoke?
Looks like date corrections to me. Everything else looks the same
Tyaz, you always make me laugh. I agree, these socks have not changed my life but if this company does well with this silver technology they just might! lol
I will say that the competitors that have silver in them and that my son brought me are very expensive and the one pair all of us tried actually fell apart and frayed on all os us! They cost $20 a pair. The others were not much better except the one pair but as my son said the ywere a little thick. Nice socks though and they still cost $20 a pair. UATG seems to be better and cost $15 for 3 pairs! Thats pretty good. You CAN get cheaper socks but not with silver that I have found. I think we are in a good position but the real winner will me the aggregate of the entire product line. IMO
Then we move on to the medical devices and this company will take off! Thats big money. Multi billion dallar industry
They already said they arent doing hospital sheets because of the bleach issue. They are doing hospital curtains instead
I agree. The company selling socks is a start but its just that, a start. They need many products in this space for it to really add up and make a difference. The have promised us more hygieia products so only time will tell.
I also really like the socks and the packaging as well as the marketing so far so we are off to a good start
Those are performance socks and not daily casual sporty socks. Not exactly a fair comparison. Lets wait until the high performance socks come out from hygieia before we compare anything. Something tells me you might feel different. I hope! lol
Long day. Just got in and thought I would check in. I have bought several dozen socks and gave them away to family members/employees and everyone loves them! Everyone says they work. My son did say that he thought they were better because they were slightly thinner than Under Armor which he usually wears. When I asked Mr. Umbra about that a few weeks back, he said they were engineered that way for moisture wicking. Apparently the way they make this silver promotes wicking but the thickness matters because it helps wicking and breathability. He did say that they use different manufacturing process of silver for different products. The sheets are made differently for example (thats the example he gave me but dont ask me to explain the difference now. I forget)
Seems logical. For me, They fit pretty good (size 11.5) but to be honest I dont usually wear such low socks like the young folk do. I am waiting on the boot socks which Mr. Umbra promised me an advance pair of. I will let everyone know when I get them.
I see your point on the guns and pins. I am not sure about advertising on the facebook but my wife showed me the ad on instagram I believe. I have few businesses of my own and our advertising is small in comparison I think because we are suppliers to processors and manufacturers.
I will say that I do believe he is a legitimate fellow for many reasons but I think the one that should be pointed out here speaks to your suggestion about releasing press during "these runs". The simple answer is that he cant. If he did a 3a10 and released news while selling was going on he would be really in for it from the SEC.
Its JMO but I suspect once all this debt settlement is cleared we will hear something. Only time will tell.
If I am not mistaken, they just launched their first product 4 months ago and everyone on here has seen an increase in advertising dollars being spent on ads. That and the fact that the sock is coming out in new colors, a new high performance sock is about to be released in may colors, videos that show surgeries for two other products they developed were released a few months back (undergoing FDA approval?), images of the next products to be released have been put on company website and they just launched product on Amazon a week ago! There are folks on here that have purchased and use the companys products so we know they are delivering. Heck, two of us on here apparently spoke with the CEO today in his office. The man is working Sunday! What else could you possibly want? lol
I am sorry but I honestly do not know what everyone is complaining about? There is a big difference between the stock price issue and the companys performance as a retail business. I have no issue with how they are handling the retail side of their business. They are doing what a business is suppose to do. Make something and sell it. Period.
The issue is the pps. Lets not muddy the waters and get things confused. It takes money, a lot of money to design, manufacture, deliver and advertise a single product. They are doing pretty darn well considering everything they have started to deliver along with everything they have coming. We need to focus on what they are not doing well, not what they are actually getting right. JMO
I took it that way to. The drone does not recharge itself in flight but it will fly itself back to its "housing unit" to recharge. He did say that it does have the capability to "recharge" its "in flight systems" during flight which increases its flight time but I am not sure I fully understand what that means but thats what he said. The drone would rotate out with other drones as it ran low on power. the charging or housing unit would not need to be connected to power grid because it actually generates and stores power to recharge drones. Its based on the powercube technology and other things that they developed several years back. It has AI, flies itself and can track people or intruders as he described them. The drones all tlk to each other which he said was some type of technology but I cant remember what he said. He did say that it was strictly security drone with no offensive capabilities. Its just for tracking and observing for security personnel.
He said it was green technology and did not create a carbon footprint while operating. He said it will have one of the longest "loitering" times of any drone currently available and that its range will be significant. He didnt give specifics but also said that its capabilities were also significant.
I did manage to get out of him that the other drones they have do have the offensive capabilities that the security drone lacks but he would not discuss it further at all. I get the sense they actually built this thing and are close to finalizing it. He was very reluctant to discuss it which makes me think that they have something in the works. JMO
I also asked about the drones and when they would be released. He said he could not comment on LTAC but that the security drone design was completed but that they were in the middle of testing and reconfiguring a few things. I will be honest, this security drone sounds pretty amazing. It has AI, flies and recharges itself! He said, first images of the drone and video will be released this year. He wouldnt go into any further specifics but did say it would be for both government and corporate applications. I asked what "corporate applications" meant and he said he could not discuss it at this time but a limited description of its capabilities would be made public when the images are released this year. he said that some of the video footage in the latest company commercial was filmed with the drone technology.
I forgot to mention that we discussed uplisting as well and he said that "we" are still on track and that he is not worried at all about the companys ability to uplist this year as he has said in numerous interviews and press releases. He was very confident and even emphatic about this. I asked when this would be happening and of course he wouldnt answer. I did tell him that a few people here on the board were worried and some even sold their positions out. He commented that he understood but thought that "it might be possible that they would potentially regret that in the long run but thats the way the public markets work" and he understood why they might have thought that was necessary. He was very careful about the language he chose when saying this (maybe for legal reasons but also not to give anything away). He said everyone has to make the best decisions based on their own experience and what they know at that time. He told me he understood what I was trying to ask but that he could not give any financial advice to anyone.
wow! I came on here thinking no one would be on and everyone is here talking it up. lol. Pleasant surprise.
So apparently Mr. Umbra is in office today working. I spoke with him briefly. He replied to an email I sent him on Saturday and then sent me text to let me know he sent me an e-mail and to see if I needed anything further. I called him and he answered right away.
He told me he works on Sundays because textile prototyping for some of the products (not just Hygieia) is done out of China because they are faster and a lot less expensive (the first sock designs would have cost over $50,000 each and would have taken months to "channel" if they did it here in the U.S. where as in China he said it was a fraction of that and a matter of weeks). The socks moving forward will be manufactured for retail consumption here in the United States. He said this is very helpful because its not just less expensive and faster but it allows him to have a full six day work week instead of 5 days. Its Monday in China and they are getting a bunch of things done today. He would not go into details but did say it was in part related to Hygieia products already announced and some that have not been announced but that they will be making more announcements on his soon.
Something I found interesting is that he mentioned that they do source materials and even some manufacturing from other countries because of quality of materials, cost and time. I asked where and he said many countries but India, Europe, South America and other places as long as they meet sustainability and humanitarian standards that they dictate. Interesting that they are thinking about this. He said by the time a product is scaled up and delivered to market that 99.9% of what they manufacture will be made here in the United States. They are also working on funding to do their own manufacturing for some products. Textiles are not one of them with the exception of raw fiber supply ( I forgot to ask what they heck that means). I was trying to take notes but couldnt write fast enough.
We discussed the commercials and he said they are working towards a national ad spot by mid to end 2019. He said all Hygieia socks will be available by end of Q2 and then the boxers, sheets and a few other surprises will follow. The medical devices will follow and then they are moving on to clan energy stuff.
I asked about the rifle and he said the will be available to police first and only shareholders holding a certain amount of shares will be allowed to buy a civilian version. He said the number of civilian rifles they will make available has not been determined but he does not anticipate it being over 100 rifles! He clearly does not want to sell to regular folk (probably because of the school shootings and negative press). He said both rifles are completed and have been for a while but he might make a slight modification to the sniper rifle to improve maintenance (he is the one that designed both guns himself). There is another "conventional" gun hes been working on but he wont discuss specifics but did say it would the final "conventional weapon" they will make. He wants to focus more on technology weapons and "direct energy weapons" (lasers and other stuff. Apparently, something they call "septer" is completed and its a laser type weapon). He will be showing images of it potentially end of year or next year if at all. Hes mentioned this stuff in press releases before and its been on the older website but I hadnt realized they were that far along.
We talked about the pps and he said he completely understood why many might be upset but that unfortunately he couldnt address the issue directly for another few weeks. I got the sense that things are close to being finalized on many fronts but no matter how hard I pressed he pushed back and wouldnt give me anything. He was very gracious and polite but still wouldnt give me anything. Hey, I tried! lol
They are not affiliated with UATG. I asked. They are trademarked not patented and its through a licensing agreement. Their process is supposedly different
BioTech teaser? Weird we were just talking about it!
New Facebook post. Something is going on with biotech.
https://www.facebook.com/Umbra-Applied-Technologies-Group-INC-UATG-265502490241809/
BioPur is a surgical cleanser for operating rooms and they are also making a home version. Apparently it kills everything and protects your hands for an extended period of time or something. I dont recall exactly what he said. It was a while ago. They postponed release so they can get out all of the hygieia products. Then the are continuing to release products from the biotechnology division of the company for the rest f the year. Clearview, implants and the pin are also scheduled to come out this year.
This is why they released the videos of the surgeries they did.
This was info from a previous post I put up a while back. I called company and spoke with ceo. I believe it was also mentioned in an interview he did as well as a press release.
We will probably here something after hygieia is done. I do know that biopur is done though. They are just waiting on releasing. Probably because of cost and other products ahead of it.
