Rep West has more courage and integrity in his pinkie than Obama could ever even dream of possessing.
He has already bypassed the constitution, and congress, in some of his appointments, and not only was nothing said by anyone in the leftist media, CONGRESS NEVER DID A DAMN THING.....
So he'll get away with whatever the hell he wants, it appears.
The Left was always whining that Bush had no respect for the constitution ..... yet when this incompetent arrogant SOB just blatantly ignores it, none of the ball-less bastards on the left, or in the media, say a single word, the two faced cowards.
We're becoming accustomed to it .....
It's the left's way of expressing appreciation for defending their right to free speech ....... which they continue to abuse every time they open their mouth.
I found it rather .... hypocritical .... to say the least.
typical leftist crap.
I was afraid of that ..........
All of course, are 'the establishment'.
Paul just much less than the rest.
I am sure he enjoyed himself, and that you were a gracious host. Glad you guys had a good time!
Yep, he, FDR, and the rest are probably patting each other on the back today, seeing what is taking place here in this country, as they burn in hell.
I could believe about anything of this guy .... and of the idiots who blindly support him.
Frankly, I never knew there were that many pure idiots in the country .... even counting Kalifornia!
Thanks for sharing!
Oh, I thought you were back already ! Enjoy yourself! Those are indeed primo smokes!
Tell the old fart "Hi" for me will ya! LOL
That is for sure Walk!
ZMG
ABZ
Amen!
Oh man, I'm green with envy! Bring those back with ya? I wouldn't even want to think you indulged in any ... (ahem) of those 'forbidden fruit' sticks while you were there, right?
Glad you had a good trip. We were getting some progress notes and pics!
Fire one of tham bad boys up! Those are kick-ass sticks man!
They sure are aptly named ..... The Jewel of Nicaragua!
That is true ..... but I think he has hit on something with his admission of and talking about social issues. I think even some of the '08 Zero supporters are concerned about the rising rate of out of wedlock births to single mothers, and governmental interference in 'private' matters.
Gosh, who the heck knows any more?
Whatever happens, both he and Newt, as well as Paul, are 'insiders' ..... which ain't good.
As I said from Day 1, Santorum scares me ... but Obama scares me more!
Hey, there are always decisions in life ... LOL
Have to give the guy credit for running a good campaign so far .... he may step on it yet, but so far, he has 'out-newted' Newt and 'out-mitted' Romney ....
He may well be onto something!
Santorum: no apology needed for Quran burning
Associated Press – 1 hr 8 mins ago...
WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum criticized President Barack Obama's apology for the burning of Qurans in Afghanistan, adding that Afghanistan should apologize to the U.S. for the deaths of four U.S. soldiers during six days of violence sparked by the incident.
"There was nothing deliberately done wrong here," Santorum said Sunday on ABC's "This Week". "This was something that happened as a mistake. Killing Americans in uniform is not a mistake. It was something that deliberate."
More than 30 people have been killed in clashes since it emerged Tuesday that copies of the Muslim holy book and other religious materials had been thrown into a fire pit used to burn garbage at Bagram Air Field, a large U.S. base north of Kabul. Protesters angry over Quran burnings by American troops lobbed grenades Sunday at a U.S. base in northern Afghanistan and clashed with police and troops in a day of violence that left seven international troops wounded and two Afghans dead.
"The response needs to be apologized for by (President Hamid) Karzai and the Afghan people for attacking and killing our men and women in uniform and overreacting to this inadvertent mistake," Santorum said on NBC's "Meet the Press". "That is the real crime here, not what our soldiers did."
The president's apology suggests that there is blame and that the U.S. did something wrong "in the sense of doing a deliberate act," Santorum said.
Santorum says that rather than saying he was sorry, Obama should have only acknowledged that burning copies of Islam's holiest book in a trash pit was wrong and taken responsibility for the incident, "but to apologize, I think, lends credibility that somehow or another that it was more than that."
Santorum is the latest Republican to criticize Obama for apologizing for burning the religious materials. Despite apologies from the president and other U.S. officials for what they said was a mistake, their regrets have not quelled the anger of Afghans, who viewed the Quran burnings as an illustration of what they perceive as foreign disrespect for their culture and religion.
Santorum was interviewed Sunday on ABC's "This Week" and NBC's "Meet the Press."

OK - I guess all I need to know is that you avoid answering any direct questions, not like everyone else on the thread as you stated, ... but very much like those who, when called upon to produce something factual to back up their claims, fail to do so.
Yep, I know all about that. You're one of 'those'.
Thanks so very much for the 'on point' response, and for contributing to my quest to understand what it is that motivates the left.
You know, I see that 100%, but those 'social issues' strike a chord with a good portion of the population. Santorum seems to have figured that out, and is seasoning his campaign with good portions of the social issues.
Plus, they make more dramatic impact than ... economic topics.
I'm not real sure social issues aren't the key in the primaries, and in large part in the general election too.
I'm thinking Obama will be talking about them a great deal .... with all his hollow promises. But, in a second term, those promises won't necessarily be so 'hollow' ... and he has already established himself as someone willing to ... break the law .... in order to get things done. That 'Rebel Crusader' crap will attract a lot of lefty extremists ........
or to put it another way, I don't think we can beat Obama without interjecting some social issues, morals, etc ...... just not 'religion'.
But there's a reason I don't understand politics, so you have to take anything I say with a grain of salt! LOL
Gee, I was a Cain supporter ... until he was kneecapped so quickly and cleanly by the media.
If anyone is interested in a good read - a fictionalized account of the fall of the Shah of Iran and the rise of Khomeni ...based on true events .... you really need to check out "Whirlwind" by James Clavell. This novel provides a good foundation to help understand Muslim culture, and especially Iranian culture.
I've read it three times over the last ten years (I always get something new I missed before!) and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a general idea of some of the attitudes we are facing in Muslim countries as well as in Iran in particular. You may well come away with a different view of Islam.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whirlwind_(novel)
It is one good read ..
I hear ya, but he'd get 'kneecapped' faster than Herman Cain did, I'm sure.
A pity, because I thin we ned someone like that ...
I'd love to see Allen West of Florida picked as the candidate's VP running mate.
Sheriff Joe!
We'll see come general election time, but I can't recall a republican primary yet where the candidates weren't very anxious to put their support for the 2nd amendment out, front and center, from the get-go.
Romney still hasn't, to my knowledge, answered his questionaire from the NRA, and neither had Gingrich last I knew. Now, answering that and answering it 'correctly' can result in some $$$$ of campaign funds. What candidate doesn't want campaign $$$$. Ron Paul is the only one I know of who has responded.
I'll see what I can dig up here today .. but I don't particularly like what I am 'not' hearing.
I'm not sure we really even have a president - just a guy who continues to campaign for the opening!
I sure don't know .... my mind doesn't work real well on these type problems. You can check your water heater exhaust, but I'm thinking it probably goes up and out the roof. Mine ran probably ... 20 feet horizontally, under the floor/in the basement ceiling, and wasn't really a clunk, but a series of 'pops'..
I think I better shut up and let these guys who do this stuff a lot better than I, help you diagnose your problem. My standard answer - "Jack it up and drive a new one under it" - is probably what you don't need to do! LOL.
B-N-B and excel ... and the others .... get stuff figured out sooner or later, and they do it the right way!
Water heater gas or electric?
Being 'correct', as you say, isn't always the 'right' answer.
Actually though, had they just let me keep that money (my taxes) I would have spent it and it would have been just as stimulating to the economy and moreso to me ... since I'm really the one who earned it in the first place. LOL
Well, we know where the media's loyalty lies - they have none .... but their bread is buttered with Obama's margarine!
You've probably hit it. We ended up changing out a water heater exhaust one time becuse of the expansion/contraction problems. It happened more as a series of 'pops' or 'clunks' every time the heater came on, and then went back off. As I say, I'm a true klutz when it comes to DIY projects.
Like I say, I was just struck by a WAG, so thought I'd just throw it up and see what fell to earth!
Good luck. I can empathize.
I don't know if it's something in the air from the south moving north, or whether it is vice-versa ... But the word 'stupid' obviously is one we all share, when it comes to government.
Thanks PW ... as usual, your articles are not only informative, but also entertaining.
Documents: PETA kills more than 95 percent of pets in its care
Documents published online this month show that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, an organization known for its uncompromising animal-rights positions, killed more than 95 percent of the pets in its care in 2011.
The documents, obtained from the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, were published online by the Center for Consumer Freedom, a non-profit organization that runs online campaigns targeting groups that antagonize food producers.
Fifteen years’ worth of similar records show that since 1998 PETA has killed more than 27,000 animals at its headquarters in Norfolk, VA.
In a February 16 statement, the Center said PETA killed 1,911 cats and dogs last year, finding homes for only 24 pets.
“PETA hasn’t slowed down its slaughterhouse operation,” said Rick Berman, CCF’s executive director. “It appears PETA is more concerned with funding its media and advertising antics than finding suitable homes for these dogs and cats.”
In a statement, Berman added that PETA has a $37 million dollar annual budget.
His organization runs PETAkillsAnimals.com, which reports that in 2010 a resident of Virginia called PETA and asked if there was an animal shelter at the group’s headquarters. PETA responded that there was not.

Think they understand the word "hypocrite"?

Think they understand the word "hypocrite"?
excel - not being, or claiming to be, any sort of DIY expert ... is it posibly a loose mounting/mount on the furnace fan? Please don't laugh too loudly if that is totally ridiculous
This, my fine friends, is one of the most influential people in Washtington these days, and these are her views. I'd venture to guess she is more influential on BO than is Michelle.
If that isn't scary ..... what is?
What sort of 'supposedly' educated person would ever make such a statement?
Along those lines .... I guess Armed Robbery is good for the economy .... because they go out and spend those dollars they steal.
Have you noted the almost complete absence of any 2d amendment related discussion this election cycle? What is up with that? Scares me, honestly. Is Romney a closet 'anti'?
Since I am not familiar with you, help me out a bit, will you?
You post about "Barack Obama".
Is that the same one who warned all the democrats to be sure and bring a gun to the knife fight?
The same one who has contributed more toward destroying our reputation as 'the' lead country in the world ..... 'the' model of stability for others to emulate?
That one?
Or is there another one of which I remain unaware?
BTW, how much time have you lived in any country other than the US? Which country? Would you mind terribly if I ask what is/was your 'major' in school?
I just wanted to know a bit about the person on the other end.
Thank you.
Not only would they 'not mind' $10 a gallon gas - I think they'd love to see it.
It would definitely accelerate their mission of dividing the classes, and encouraging more class warfare.
Yes they are, and I am so damn mad about it I can hardly see straight. It was a gutless, spineless piece of shit so-called leader who sent a letter of apology to Afghanistan over this incident. Hell, Harry Truman would have sent an Atomic Bomb, Special Air Express Delivery, and sent them a get well card - in English!
