I was thinking the same thing. Why was $10 chosen? Why not $5?
Hey Knot, when I click on you sales data recently nothing happens.
Not buying at 20 cents if Torvec has income next year would make a lot more people sick.
I like the possibilities of the WAM Watch/Bracelet. However, I think the word "Safety" should be included in its name. The WAM Safety Watch or WAM Safety Bracelet. It is, in fact, more of a safety device than simply a watch or bracelet. Might be better received by potential users too. Who doesn't want affordable safety?
48,980 less than today.
I liked it. Enthusiasm from DK is much welcomed. I'm sure he must have been reluctant to show enthusiasm in the past because of the history of this company and previous false promises by his predecessor. This means to me that we are on the road to becoming a successful company. Not a guarantee yet, but at least an honest effort.
Torvec Q4 quarterly report is out. See above.
Maybe because this is National Drowsy Driving Prevention Week the Wall Street Journal might also publish this article. My thinking is that we need some New York City publicity now or actual sales in the future before this stock heads upward.
I should have written "large" interest; not "majority" interest.
Somebody needs to send a copy of the Torvec announcement to the Wall Street Journal. Maybe that would get some publicity and interest in buying the stock. Articles in the D&C don't seem to be doing much to the price of the stock. "Billionaire Owns Majority Stake In Company With Technology That Could Drastically Reduce Road Accidents!"
Insurance companies will probably offer discounts to users; especially fleets of trucks. I think this has a lot of potential. I like it. Hope the market likes it.
Somebody likes it. Big volume today.
I understand buying now but I don't understand someone selling at this point. I understand selling a year ago or before but not now. If there is a chance this will be a winner, it will be in the next year. Hang in there fellow gamblers. Just one man's opinion.
.....and some may argue that you might be getting a great deal.
Nobody can say that DK is overpaid.
Nice to see DK bought another 10k shares yesterday.
Maybe it will break .40 next week. Those that bought at .20 are looking pretty smart.
Why doesn't Torvec sell the rights to the differential as is? Let some corporation with a lot more money take it from here. Get some cash upfront and maybe some future cash on each one made as a copyright fee.
I agree. Nothing new here for those of us on this message board. He did twice use the word "huge" when eluding to the new product. Even though it is only "potentially" huge for Torvec it was nice to hear.
Google "Torvec News." Story and video posted at 5:00 today about Torvec going in a new direction.
Not yet.
TOVC up today. Always nice to see more buyers than sellers.
The bad news is that no one bought any shares. The good news is that no one sold any shares.
It sounds good. So does the pump. My problem is that everything moves soooo slowly. It is hard to understand.
I don't care what they sell as long as they sell something. Any sales of anything will turn this company into a winner.
TOVC up 62% in a week on only 50,000 shares. If this company ever makes a profit the stock will be amazing. Here's hoping.
Looks interesting. Can't wait for the full explanation.
I don't care about the past. It would be more useful to hear what he thinks about the future prospects of this company going forward. Having said that, my guess is that he probably won't comment on either. He might not be allowed to comment because he either agreed not to or is restricted by regulations from doing so.
If this thing hits 10 cents or less, there's gonna be a helluva lot of buyers; including me.
I agree totally. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
It doesn't matter "when" if you're already rich while you wait. :)
No. 23 cents.
I guess we can't blame the directors for not buying stock prior to the additional $ 5 mill. If TG didn't come up with that money, it was "game over." I have been unclear about how that additional $ 1 million is going to work. I guess one way is for the reason that you mentioned.
I can't believe that TG doesn't ask what we are asking. They want him to buy but they aren't? Maybe we're missing the "rest of the story."
I agree with both of you. I like the management team but do not like the stock price. That is exactly why I am holding on to the stock. I, like others, was hoping for faster positive results. Unfortunately, those results are taking a long time. But, if someone told me today about a company that is owned 47% by TG with the hope to be a success in two years or less at a risk of 32 cents a share, I would jump all over it. It is a calculated risk with a downside of 32 cents and an upside of many dollars. Is it a sure thing? Absolutely not. But I would feel a lot better if the directors were buying. I don't want them shamed into buying, I want them buying because they believe in the future of the company.
Anyone know if this an added position or a replacement? I hope it's an added position.
I wrote my response before reading your's, Sammy B. Amazingly similar take on the situation and response. Great minds think alike. Lol.
I said I would reassess my Torvec position after the annual meeting. Here it is: If I heard about Torvec this morning for the first time and went to the annual meeting tonight, I would buy a bunch of Torvec tomorrow. At this price I think it's worth the risk. The problem is that we fellow stockholders are all in a negative position right now. I think the future past 2016 has a better than 50/50 chance of being successful. I cannot bring myself to buy more stock but I also cannot bring myself to sell any either. (If that makes sense). The good news is 1) that insiders will probably be buying and 2) there is a patented product that might be coming out for sale after some more due diligence. Unfortunately the words "probably" and "might" had to be used, but I'll still accept these as positive developments. I'm throwing my stock in a drawer and will see what I can sell it for in June of 2016.
Pretty simple: No sales means no return on investment. If the differential is now marketable, why are there no sales?
Do you all have your questions ready for Thursday night? Don't be late.
