It's called "painting the tape" by some anxious shareholder trying to avoid a retrace. The Jackal Traders must get their DUE or DO (whatever) so .16 cents/ sounds about right. Now the Cheatah Traders wil shoot for .14 cents/, but they generally shoot themselves in the foot trying - HA! That said, one day good old CEO Leopold will fool them all with a dandy opening PR that will instantly drive NBRI's PPS to a dollar/ - - GOTCHA !!!! JMHO
Walt Calahan
Phrantic:
Our moderator is just one of a bunch of trader (and there is nothing wrong with that 'cause they like making money) but they like to drive the PPS up after a positive PR by NBRI and then sell with the intent of buying back in at a lower PPS if and when a PPS retrace happens. It is very frustrating for us investors to watch, but it is a trading style used by "Jackal Traders" - - Ha!
If and when NBRI produces a solid and profitable PR, we might see an end to this nonsense since the PPS well be out of the "Penny PPS" range where most of these "Cheatahs" operate. Manipulation is a dirty SEC term, but rarely enforced. JMHO
Walt Calahan
DDHawk:
The "Jackal Traders" post messages of encouragement in order to regain some momentum for NBRI that was lost when they began taking some profits when the PPS went to + $.15/ . NBRI will recover, but if the PPS pops to + $.20/ the greedy SOB's will sell again - - this just delays NBRI's advance to much higher PPS!
Ah, the act of a few punishes the majority - JMHO
W A Calahan
Rarefind:
With the momentum NBRI had going four weeks ago, NBRI's PPS should be above $ 0.20/ with the latest Ruby Mine news just released. But the "Jackal Traders" began profit taking on the PPS spike to +.15/ topping out the PPS spike so that the could buy back in at $.11/ - - - talk about greed !!! Smart trading ? Makes us wonder if they'll ever allow NBRI's PPS ever reach $.20/ this year ! CEO Leopold ought to complain about the head wind these Jackals are making ! Darn shame, too !! JMHO
W A Calahan
Gem:
Your "one liner" instill confidence in the eyes of investors wanting to join us NBRI shareholders ! In fact, it brings tears to my eyes ! Forget NBRI's cooling of momentum caused by the greedy action of the "Jackal and Cheatah Traders" need for bargain priced shares! This will change soon when CEO Leopold announces the EB-5 program approval and investment money begins to pour in, and he will invest it where it will provide the greatest return. "YES, The Sky Is The Limit !". JMHO
Walt Calahan
Rare:
Place the blame at the feet of the "Cheetah Traders" who want to suck out the very last NBRI bargain trade they can grab !!! JMHO
Walt Calahan
PS: The "Jackal Traders" have all the NBRI shares they can afford 'cause they ran out of pennies !!!
Gem:
Your one liners are inspirational and this one is worthy of a post from me even if I am only allowed one post a day ! NBRI will begin to regain its momentum next week! JMHO

J Lebed, when he was a 15 year old, made a small fortune using pump-&-dump tactics until the SEC closed him down. You might know that the SEC couldn't discover B Madoff fraud, but championed the prosecution of a 15 year old (Figures !). Today Mr. Lebed is active advising clients on their stock market selections (Again - Figures !) So what's so new about multiple posting ID alias ? You and I are probably the only posters using our real name ! The way NBRI's PPS seems to flip-flop without reason makes investors wonder, but the low volume of transactions each day suggests that the traders are "out trading" themselves for more bargain shares. Meds, indeed - - balony !!! JMHO
W A Calahan
rarefind:
NBRI's momentum lost is hard to regain ! The "Jackal Traders" famous in buying shares after a retrace of a positive PPS spike have been replaced by the "Cheetah Traders" who use multiple posting ID Alias designed to produce additional bargain priced shares !! NBRI is still the "Gem Investment" it was 3 weeks ago and CEO Leopold is still going to deliver great returns for all patient investors !! JMHO
W A Calahan
Bruce/Gem:
Momentum lost is difficult to regain even after three postive PR's (and Today's was outstanding, too!) by CEO Leopold, and any pump messages from "Jackals" doesn't seem to have any effect on the PPS either. That said, NBRI is ready to move into the next phase of its development, and I only hope the "Jackals" don't kill the momentum this time by all dumping at the first ten or twenty cent pop. JMHO
W A Calahan
Bruce:
Aren't you the one who encouraged these bandits to jump on the NBRI band wagon ? Momentum lost is hard to regain so I hope the EB-5 advantage arrives some time this month so we all, Investors and Jackals alike, can begin to smile again at the NBRI gem we have latched on to ! JMHO
W A Calahan
I sure hope all the "Jackal Traders" loading up now don't sell when NBRI's PPS hits $ .20/shr , or we'll never reach the full potential of NBRI. Playing "ping-pong" with every hard earned PPS momentum surge is driving all valuable investors to more stable investment opportunities. But then this is the "way of wall street greed" and requires a great patience.I'll be glad when NBRI's PPS really takes off where "Penny Traders" can't afford to play a P&D game anymore ! JMHO
I have always maintained that the only information worth while posted on any equity message board is from the CEO of a Company ! All the rest are by stock manipulators and just FLUFF of very little help to anyone except, of course, the manipulator. JMHO

NBRI's momentum has vanished ! Question: "Are you and Bruce joined at the hip ? Web need another positive PR from CEO Leopold to help get NBRI investors back on board ! JMHO
Walt Calahan
Gem:
Trouble are these "Jackal Traders" selling into a five cent PPS swing up and giving a new top to overcome. This gives the appearance of a P & D operation which scares away potential investors with the big money to invest. Hopefully, with the PPS above 50 cents, NBRI will gain investors respect and be on the charts as a stellar investment. JMHO
Walt Calahan
Another uneventful close today when someone sold 100k shares at the bid ! NBRI's momentum lost is hard to regain, but of course that can change with s blink of the eye, translated: "when CEO Leopold issue a positive PR regarding the EB-5 program !"
Walt Calahan
Gem:
Some trader closed today's trading with a sale of 150k shares of NBRI at the bid ! Cold feet or just shaking the nushes ?
W A Calahan
NBRI has lost its momentum that was growing stronger withn each PR issued by CEO Leopold, and the last two issued this week were very positive. Investors, instead of "Jackel Traders", must return or else this board will take on the appearance of being just another P&D operation. JMHO

A listing on a Canadian exchange would be more productive where Jr Mining Companies are highly regarded. What concerns me about a German listing is the potential for "naked shorting". If NBRI becomes a high flying stock as we all expect, it becomes a target for this kind of mischief. JMHO
W A Calahan
PS: The Canadian dollar is one of a few currencies holding its value in this crazy world of government deficit spending.

Yes, 100,000 shares is a very positive vote of confidence and not just a painting of the tape. NBRI is being noticed by more than just "penny" traders. JMHO

Anybody's guess ! Friday usually gives the "Jackal Traders" an opportunity to shake a bush or two in order to pick up some bargain shares, and they are at their best after a positive PPS spike like NBRI experinenced recently. It's a great opportunity to buy in if you are interested, but otherwise the pendulum swings back to center once it reaches a limit. NBRI is still the same Company we all hold for the positive future ahead. JMHO

It's God's Country !!! The air is fresh and clear with green trees providing a fragrance that welcomes all visitors. Gold found a home there, and now NBRI with some good luck will find it and reward us all. JMHO

tajitj:
Yes, I agree that most of the traders sold into this rally and they made a nice return, too. They follow their rules which insure that they make money, not lose money, and with penny stocks it is often the latter case. That said, they will keep their eye on NBRI's PPS and will buy back in because they recognize now that this gem is a long term play. For the last few years, I have been preaching "patience" with NBRI's activity and have received many "cat-calls" for my insistence that NBRI needs investors more than traders in order to have any meaningful PPS increase. Well today the investors won when the closing price held and didn't fall off. The month of April may continue this encouraging upward PPS movement with positive PR messages from CEO Leopold. JMHO
Walt Calahan
bobbies:
Why is everyone overlooking the huge potential of the EB-5 program, and I don't mean just the Ruby Mine project. CEO Leopold hasn't when he set up the North Bay Capital Group (NBCG) to facilitate a faster way to expand NBRI's taking advantage of EB-5 financing of mining operations in other Western States. If NBCG is successful, it will expand NBRI's growth to make it more than just a "Junior Mining Co." !! JMHO
Walt Calahan
roach4091:
When CEO Leopold announces that the EB-5 program has been finalized, NBRI's PPS will be on its way to $1.00/shr. All the foreign investors (Germany,Canada, etc) will begin some serious buying! JMHO
Walt Calahan
PS: The USA buyers will add to the rush, too!
Robert869:
They sure do ! Hopefully all of today's "Buys" are by investors in for a generous PPS long haul. I'm holding all these "2008" shares which I bought for my Children and Grand Children after I leave this world .
Walt Calahan
Brian39:
NBRI, under the guidance of CEO Leopold, began a consistent PR program at the beginning of the year to inform investors about the EB-5 program, REE claims, engaging qualified professionals to guide the Company's growth, Ruby Mine operation's progress, to name a few that is now showing up with positive volume and PPS activity. WHEN THE COMPANY SPEAKS, INVESTORS LISTEN! If more shareholders decide not to sell, but hold for the growth ahead the PPS will continue its positive upward move. Traders come and go for penny profits so NBRI's PPS will fluctuate, but they are short sighted as far as I'm concerned. JMHO
Walt Calahan
Surfkast:
The term "Cheapies" is a relative thing as well personal to the investor. If a PPS goes from ten cents/ to a top of twelve cents/shr, then 10 cents/ is not a cheapie. But if a ten cent/ stock goes to a top of fifty cents/shr, then ten cents/ is a cheapie. It all depends upon an investor's personal values, time frame, and needs. I'm not a professional investor and hesitate to make any recomendations, but only observations of stock activity. I hope this is of help to you. JMHO
Walt Calahan
Surfkast:
More important was the volume during the last five minutes before the close: "Three trades totaled almost 200,000 shares !"
Speaks well for next weeks trading because investors very seldom make a big commitment on a Friday unless they sense an opportunity coming up . JMHO

Cee-it:
Thank you for your input. It is very refreshing to read a post that is more than just a piece of fluff of no value to anyone, especially potenial investors. EB-5 approval is the key to get things rolling, and NBRI's PPS will begin to reflect the true value of the Company. CEO Leopold might consider listing NBRI shares on a Canadian exchange, too. The Canadians have a passion for junior mining companies.
Walt Calahan
Bruce:
You are shameless ! NBRI's the "bounciest" rubber ball I've ever seen. You makes us smile with admiration ! Have a nice Sunday. JMHO

set apart:
That's a sound policy for the Company to follow as well as all of its share holders. Watchout, however, for a band of momentum stock flippers to show up and manipulate the PPS with bogus posts. They call themselves "Traders", but the market knows better. CPBM seems to be a worth while long term investment. JMHO

Hey, big guy, thanks for your reply. If you have the time, checkout message #137 posted on GYPH's IHub board. It was written by one of NBRI's long time supporters and investor, Kiwisteve ! And he continues his positive "no fluff" messages on NBRI's board, the most recent, yesterday.
So you think my conclusion is absurd that the excessive "Fluff" posts are of no value to potential investors? Well, differences are healthy ! If you want to read a couple of absurd posts hidden amongst the 13,397 posted on NBRI's IHub board, checkout #13078 and #13176. No Mas , No Mas ! Gracias.

Bruce:
I'm aloted one post a day, so I had to wait until today to reply to your post by comparing two junior gold mining companies listed on IHub's boards, NBRI.OB and GYPH.OB, for interesting differences. Both have similar share structures, but their PPS and quantity of posts posted on their IHub boards are worth noting. I do not own any GYPH shares, and I believe NBRI is a superior company. However:
1. NBRI's closing PPS today $.06/shr. 13,397 posts have been made from 8/04/2006 to 3/10/2011 by interested readers.
2. GYPH's closing PPS today $.14/shr. 137 posts have been made
from 3/01/2007 to 3/06/2011 by interested readers.
Can a judgment be made between the companies with the PPS and the amount of postings spread so large ? I believe the 137 GYPH posts are by investors while the 13,397 NBRI posts are by momentum share flippers ! And the PPS spread supports this judgment. The sooner NBRI begins to attract investors, the sooner the PPS will begin showing their true value. "Fluff Posts", no matter how many, are of no value to NBRI, a quality growth Company I began investing in in 2008. JMHO
W A Calahan
PS: Don't have this post deleted !!!!
Bruce:
Post #13331 by Rarefind answers your comment by saying content is more importent than the quantity of posts. You just attract "momentum players" who look for a quick profit and then move on to find another "flip" opportunity. In order for NBRI to breakout to a substantial value, we need to attract "Investors", instead. Posting of PR's by CEO Leopold has proven to be one good way of attracting investors while Rarefind's is another. JMHO

DDhawk:
The PPS always has a positive move after a PR release by NBRI. CEO Leopold is a very believeable messenger ! The negative aspect usually occurs "Post PR" when all these "Fluff Posts" are made by well intending shareholders, but viewed negatively by prospective investors doing their first DD by reading messages on this board. I challenge everyone to go back and read these fluff posts made after the most recent NBRI PR and ask yourself: "Do they encourage you to invest in our gem, NBRI ?" NBRI's share price should be at least $ .20/shr !!!! JMHO

Rapturos:
$3,000.00 divide by 80,186,434 Shrs OS = $0.0000374/shr dividend!
I would rather see CEO Leopold use the money to have another positive PR published. Everytime he does, NBRI PPS advances to a new high !
