The best I can tell, Eiger is not publically traded - right?
Oh - I forgot... if that 'likely' storm hits Eiger, maybe they can make a movie about it... how about "The Eiger Sanction"?
Yeah, but MNTA wasn't the only one to drop.
Another stock I own, which also has a VERY bright future, is CREE. It dropped today too, but I'm not worried about it either one.
I bought 1,000 more MNTA today @ $14.95
...Losartan 100mg, goes for $288.86 per 100 tablets, whic works out to 90.90794698819826907946498819827% of the branded product...
So you expect (hope?) that the posters here will answer your questions succinctly just because you've got a lot of things **for which you get paid** to keep track of?
Sheesh.
Dew,
Thank you very much for your detailed explanation.
Thanks to exwannabe also.
MNTA: Thanks to the board (Zipjet, Dew, Mouton, among others) for helping me stay sane during this absurd $10 haircut with the great info!
I tried Google with no luck. What does FOB mean? Thank you. >eom<
I'd like to see BioMedReports put out a report on a real biotech company with more than $5 million cash in the bank and a runway of more than 6 months...lol.
Thank you very much! >eom<
Is there going to be a hearing in the MNTA case, or is that what will be decided when the judge issues his order (or whatever it's called)? I am referring to what was going to be done last week.
So am I correct that a TRO is issued before a hearing? When is a PI normally issued?
I'm not sure of what the various steps are called in the legal process, so I'm not sure how to describe what my understanding of the issuance time of a PI is.
Thank you.
Thanks very much for explaining the acronyms. There are so many here to be learned! Thanks again.
Looking at the action - the premium is deteriorating which indicates to my untrained eye that someone is selling puts - bulish for the stock outcome.
By "adjourn" do you mean "postponed with no action taken this week"? TIA. >eom<
...It would not surprise me to see all of those strikes challenged at some point next week.
...If you liked MNTA a month ago you should love it today. As an investor, I like the potential of earning $30+ dollars to the upside with the risk of a couple/few dollars to the downside.
...I've been in situations before where I've substituted my certainty for the doubts of the market. In every case that I can remember, I've lost money.
WOW, thanks. Looks like I have some serious reading to do. Thanks again. >eom<
...When I first came on this board, I assumed that generic drugs were identical to their brand name counterparts, except for the pricing...
It should stay in this range until issues are resolved 8/17
Thank you kindly. I hope your friend offers an opinion, in line with yours of course!
Up until recently, I've pretty much been a tech stock person, but the depth and breadth of the information and analysis on this thread, as well as the potential payback, has me very, very interested. Of course, I don't know if I have what it takes between my ears to grasp the big as well as the small picture to the extent necessary.
Thanks again.
Goodness gracious, what an analysis! Do you have a PhD in biochemistry? Am I close?
Thank you.
...When I talk this much we are usually in trouble...
Just added MNTA (again) at 17.04, FWIW
I used to get mad, but now I just laugh and use the opportunity. I just bought more shares of MNTA than I did the other day.
...MNTA's management seemed to know they were getting approval...
I wish I had your guts!
How about $17.40?
>>I think the $19-21 range is going to be the new "normal" for MNTA.
"Until when? What is the range you said is based on? Just your WAG? Why not 17-19 or 21-24?"
You're absolutely right - until today (the next day) when it appears my range should have been lowered by $3 to $16-19. (MNTA now @ $17.40)
Most of the members think the market needs time to digest the news and "study up" on MNTA ... i don't think that is true because markets are extremely efficient and get to "true value" sooner rather than later...
...As I recall L had pretty large batch to batch variation...
Because they've said so on 100 conference calls, investor presentations and so forth. Your question is the type from someone who's listened to none.
Generic companies as a matter of business practice don't disclose projects. They don't want to alert the brand company or competitors.
Original post: "It is only a guess based on the fact that at the moment Momenta does not have any other biosimilar in their pipeline."
Response: "They do, they just haven't been disclosed."
Now I'm really puzzled! How do you know it then?
Great idea! Thank you.
Thanks, Dew. I was referring specifically to the acronyms used on this thread, but I didn't make that clear.
I will have to put together a list and ask about specific acronyms.
Being a new registrant, I've read a great deal of posts recently, most about MNTA.
As the days pass though, I see that this thread is about far more than one company.
This brings me to my question - there are lots of acronyms and terms being tossed about, the meaning of which I have no clue. Is there a post or thread that one can read to start to understand the lingo?
All responses appreciated, and thank you.
That makes a lot of sense. Thank you. >eom<
Two questions if I may... 1) how can you tell that it was a purchase, and 2) why wouldn't the purchase be at a lower price (because the market price was lower near the close)?
Thank you.
