She was born in Vietnam in 1969 and her family left there in 1979 for Malaysia. After about a year in Malaysia, the were able to make it to the United States, where she has since learned how to bake apple pie.
Double digit? Like between 10 and 99?
And why should management and the BOD disrupt their cozy gig?
It would be great if JT puts that debate to bed on Monday.
Because corrupt judges have never existed.
And after his morning dump!
A CNN Town Hall with Thero and Covington. Let Kennedy stay home.
Isn’t Fatten da Lamb a notorious Amarin short/basher?
Still holding out for $200 a share?
Like their dirty hands are all over this.
I contacted the court and asked, in general, how cases are assigned. They told me it was a completely random system that assigned the cases.
What would the FDA do if every person on this board (except DaveyMoore) filed a CP to object to the approval of the Hikma and Reddy ANDAs?
Has management ever been chatty about what they’re doing?
USA represents about 4% of the world population. So, ROW probably will generate some great opportunities - as long as Thero doesn’t try to GIA.
Ham - Any thoughts on how or why Du assigned this case to herself? Would her decision to do so be included in public court documents? I've seen varying opinions about her experience with patent law and some have suggested that this was her first patent case. If true, what would be her reasoning for taking it on? Did she think it was just a fish oil company, so no big deal and I can get some patent experience under my belt? And, assuming Covington made the decision unilaterally to choose Nevada, what were they thinking? Thanks
How long did it take for Lovaza to be swamped by generic Lovaza?
A hell of a lot more than ONE drug.
Reddy and Hikma slapped Amarin and Covington around like a rag doll and have been puffing their chests for the past week. Going into the decision, most people, including a lot of professionals, thought Amarin had this. And everyone that's discussed the possibility of an appeal working in Amarin's favor have no where near the odds that were predicted going in. At best, maybe 50/50. So, why would the generics be motivated to give Amarin that kind of a deal - or any deal for that matter? More likely, they'll laugh their asses off.
Annual meeting is right around the corner if it’s possible to get there.
DC? You realize that the 9th Circuit is on the west coast?
It is interesting that GS, who had been supposedly pushing a $42 bo, were right out of the box with the $4 pt.
Knock it off.
Berkeley Law School, Obama appointee. I’m sure she’s right down the middle.
On the other hand, a sly BP, might make a run while everyone else is punch drunk on CV-19.
No, dude. It says they're studying their options which include at risk launch.
“She gave us a win”
And that win is?
Or if they knew this was lurking beneath the surface, they should have settled if the opportunity was there.
Would they sue the suppliers generics contract with to stop them from supplying epa or jointly suppliers and generics?
Good news. Amarin posted a new job opening today. Bad news. It wasn’t for Kennedy’s position.
It would be better if Thero and Kennedy bought shares with their own cash and cancel any prearranged sales.
Wasn’t it Amarin who chose the circuit court in Reno to sue the generics? If they did make that choice, I would love to hear the reasoning. Somebody questioned why they didn’t file in D.C. where the number of experienced patent judges are plentiful - maybe they thought they could walk out of Reno with an easy win - not something I would put past Gucci loafer wearing big city lawyers.
And your expertise is?
How does a judge learn the proper procedures for reviewing a specialty (meaning patents) case like this? If this truly is her first patent case, why would the case be given to her by the district court? Who did she rely on to guide her through the process? What advice did she seek and what advice was she given? Very strange.
Perhaps you could cite about ten of her most noted patent cases.
They know how to launder money.
The Dow is down over $950, but that has no impact on Amarin. Don’t you have some tables to wipe down?
As much as Orange Man is detested here, he is having an impact on the balance of the 9th circuit.
And they earn a steady paycheck.
It will all be laid out in the April investor report. Not.
Only worse
