It is still my contention that there will be no significant upward movement of NNVC stock values until the Docs start sticking needles in arms with positive results. How far away is that? Eighteen months?
Drip, drip, drip. NNVC is like Chinese water torture.
NNVC announced the contract with Biologics on 7/5. They should be ready by 9/30.
With their combined experience at the FDA, and all the professional Flucide studies that have been done, I can't see it taking more than two to three months to assemble an eye-popping presentation. The data available should be readily deciperable by the FDA analysts—that is, if they want to decipher it. Slight bit of paranoia slipping through.
From your lips to God's ears. I've been waiting for that NNVC breakout for six long, agonizing years
There was a similar experiment in Maylasia which ran into much push-back from activists. They, too, were worried about unintended consequences.
The hiring of BCG moved FluCide to the front burner. I believe they'll be going to the FDA with it by 9/30. Dr. Baylor should certainly help to pave the way.
I am amazed at how someone can come on this board and become an instant expert on what management should and should not do. Thank you for your in-depth understanding of the whole process.
Biologics Consulting Group just announced that Dr. Norman Baylor has joined their firm as President and CEO. Dr. Baylor is leaving the FDA after twenty years. He was involved in vaccine development as well as other disciplines. His appointment should bode well for a successful NNVC IND for FluCide. His most recent duties were heading up the 'biologics' group. I believe NNVC's products will come under the aegis of his former group.
It would be nice if all words were palindromes then we could all be dyslexic and it wouldn't matter.
Seymour said end of Q1, FY 12, which is Sept. 30. That's the date he should now be held to.
Why do you care?
Dendreon has fallen 64% on slow sales of its prostate drug "Provenge." The biotech market is off over 4%. The company blames the slowness on Doctor's reluctance to prescribe the $93,000, three infusion, regimen, fearing non-payment by insurance companies. Medicare agreed to cover the drug on June 30.
What happened to March 30 and June 30 being tipping points? The large investors will not buy-in until the first positive human trials are reported. Two years?
I fear that investors in NNVC on this board are like drug addicts. They start with Marijuana, move to powder coke, then to crack and finally methamphetamine. Each successive high demands more. We've plateaued and are now looking for that next big fix, the FDA. Then what?
I believe it will be north of $2.
This is in response to Dr. Seymours request for ways to improve the PR's. It is not intended to be critical, just one man's take on communicating......
Nanoviricide, Inc (OTC-BB-NNVC) reported today that the latest animal studies for its Anti-HIV candidate (HivCide)produced results equivalent to the HAART three drug cocktail (highly active antiretroviral therapy) that is the currently favored treatment for HIV infected patients. The study was conducted by Kard Scientific, Inc. of Beverly, Massachusetts. The dosages for the NNVC candidate were administered eight times during the 48 day study as compared to daily dosages for the HAART cocktail.
Kard Scientifiic is the same laboratory that recently completed optimization studies for NNVC's FluCide candidate for influenza. Those studies reported a 1,000 times greater reduction in viral load in the bloodstream when compared to the current vaccine oseltamavir. NNVC believes that the same optimization process may provide similar improvements in its HivCide candidate. Such results could lead to a functional cure for HIV.
......and all that other stuff. eom
Weedie, too bad NNVC's KNOTcide isn't available yet. Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.
P.S. The only knots I get are on my head when my wife bops me for doing or saying something stupid. I don't think NNVC can help that.
P.P.S. Stick around no-retreat. You're like the curmudgeonly old uncle who keeps everyone in line. Hang in there. Better days are coming.
The b****tards took NNVC down to zero change at the bell. Manipulation, pure and simple.
This report on HIV-cide seems to be a step back from the "functional cure" previously reported. The good news, however, is that the process lends itself to the same optimization as seen in the Flu-cide studies which will possibly lead to the functional cure being sought. This further solidifies Flu-cide as the lead candidate for the initial NDA.
It is my understanding that Dr. Seymour is 69 or 70.
Do you talk to yourself to be assured of an intelligent conversation?
I seem to remember either a response to a question or in a 10Q that the total animal test population was either 3000 or 6000.
I don't think we'll see anything north of five until actual human trials are reported with positive outcomes.
I agree. We're all traders in some fashion. Some trade every few minutes; others every few years. It's the bashers and shorters whose sole purpose is to pervert the market for their own selfish gain. A pox on their houses.
When Dr. Seymour said NNVC would file the pre-INDA before the end of the first "Fiscal Quarter" which is September 30, 2011. Does anyone here believe they will not use every single day of that? Not if history is any indication.
All the "old faithful's" on the NNVC board sound ready to hit-the-silk and abandon ship. I trust that Dr. Seymour and Dr. Diwan have duly noted the comments. September is looming.
Smallpox, Polio, Typhus, Yellow Fever....
I believe NNVC is required to use that statement by SEC regulations. Protecting the uninitiated investor, you know.
Okay, guys, I'll say it again. NNVC stated months ago that its present facility can supply enough 'cides for the pharmaco/tox studies.
Is Dr. Aronson, who is on the NNVC advisory board, affiliated in any way with BCG? I assumed he was taking the lead in preparing for the FDA.
Dr. Seymour stated earlier that NNVC's current manufacturing capability would see them through the tox studies.
Does someone know something about Tuesday? Hard to imagine anyone pulling the trigger on 50k shares at market
A happy 4th of July to all the NNVC faithful. May the second half of 2011 be beneficial to all of us. Thanks, Doc, enjoy your holiday.
Why doesn't NNVC just approach the FDC and then refute all those false prophets (Nehemiah included.) I have no doubt that the data they have accumulated is sufficient to rebut the strongest of the entrenched Big Pharma arguments. As Nike used to say, 'Just do it.
I must say, Kelt, that's a bit obscure for my limited brain.
Doc Feelgood. Do you have any words of wisdom? Did you see this coming?
I can't imagine that Dr. Diwan would sell all his shares at once into a 'falling knife' market like this.
The bid was at 1.08 all weekend. Now the MM's, Shorts and Speculators have driven it down to there. Can you spell C-O-L-L-U-S-I-O-N.
Is the Leo Ehrlich listed as an officer of Cellceutix also the former chief financial officer of NNVC? I remember he left the company in a dispute with Dr. Seymour and took his 10,000,000 shares of founder's stock with him. Krishna Menon (Kard Scientific) is also at Cellceutix while remaining as Chief Scientific Officer at NNVC. I would like someone to explain all these inter-connected relationships?
