JIM CASH, Brig. Gen., USAF, Ret.
I wrote recently about the war in Iraq and the larger war against radical Islam, eliciting a number of responses. Let me try and put this conflict in proper perspective.
Understand, the current battle we are engaged in is much bigger that just Iraq. What happens in the next year will affect this country and how our kids and grandkids live throughout their lifetime, and beyond.
Radical Islam has been attacking the West since the seventh century. They have been defeated in the past and decimated to the point of taking hundreds of years to recover. But they can never be totally defeated.Their birth rates are so far beyond civilized world rates that in time, they recover and attempt to dominate again.
There are eight terror-sponsoring countries that make up the grand threat to the West. Two, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, just need firm pressure from the West to make major reforms. They need to decide who they are really going to support and commit to that support. That answer is simple. They both will support who they think will hang in there until the end, and win.
We are not sending very good signals in that direction right now, thanks to the Democrats.
The other six, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, North Korea and Libya will require regime change or a major policy shift.
Now, let's look more closely.
Afghanistan and Iraq have both had regime changes, but are being fueled by outsiders from Syria and Iran.
We have scared Gaddafi's pants off, and he has given up his quest for nuclear weapons, so I don't think Libya is now a threat.
North Korea (the non-Islamic threat) can be handled diplomatically by buying them off. They are starving.
That leaves Syria and Iran.
Syria is like a frightened puppy. Without the support of Iran they will join the stronger side.
So where does that leave us? Sooner, or later, we are going to be forced to confront Iran, and it better be before they gain nuclear capability.
In 1989 I served as a Command Director inside the Cheyenne Mountain complex located in Colorado Springs, Colorado for almost three years. My job there was to observe (through classified means) every missile shot anywhere in the world and assess if it was a threat to the US or Canada. If any shot was threatening to either nation I had only minutes to advise the President, as he had only minutes to respond. I watched Iran and Iraq shoot missiles at each other every day, and all day long, for months. They killed hundreds of thousands of their people. Know why? They were fighting for control of the Middle East and that enormous oil supply.
At that time, they were preoccupied with their internal problems and could care less about toppling the west. Oil prices were fairly stable and we could not see an immediate threat. Well, the worst part of what we have done as a nation in Iraq is to do away with the military capability of one of those nations. Now, Iran has a clear field to dominate the Middle East, since Iraq is no longer a threat to them. They have turned their attention to the United States. They are convinced they will win, because the United States is so divided, and the Democrats (who now control Congress and may control the Presidency in 2008) have openly said we are pulling out.
Do you have any idea what will happen if the entire Middle East turns their support to Iran, which they will obviously do if we pull out? It is not the price of oil we will have to worry about. Oil will not be made available to this country at any price. I personally would vote for any presidential candidate who did what JFK did with the space program---declare a goal to bring this country to total energy independence in a decade.
Yes, it is about oil. The economy in this country will totally die if that Middle East supply is cut off right now. It will not be a recession. It will be a depression that will make 1929 look like the "good-old-days".
The bottom line here is simple. If Iran is forced to fall in line, the fighting in Iraq will end over night, and the nightmare will be over. One way or another, Iran must be forced to join modern times and the global community. It may mean a real war---if so, now is the time, before we face a nuclear Iran with the capacity to destroy Israel and begin a new ice age. I urge you to read the book "END GAME" by two of our best Middle East experts, true American patriots and retired military generals, Paul Vallely and Tom McInerney. They are our finest, and totally honest in their assessment of why victory in the Middle East is so important, and how it can be won. Proceeds for the book go directly to memorial fund for our fallen soldiers who served the country during the war on terror. You can find that book by going to the internet through Stand-up America at www.ospreyradio.us or www.rightalk.com
.
On the other hand, we have several very angry retired generals today, who evidently have not achieved their lofty goals, and insist on ranting and raving about the war. They are wrong, and doing the country great harm by giving a certain political party reason to use them as experts to back their anti-war claims.
You may be one of those who believe nothing could ever be terrible enough to support our going to war. If that is the case I should stop here, as that level of thinking approaches mental disability in this day and age. It is right up there with alien abductions and high altitude seeding through government aircraft contrails. I helped produced those contrails for almost 30 years, and I can assure you we were not seeding the atmosphere. The human race is a war-like population, and if a country is not willing to protect itself, it deserves the consequences. Nuff-said!!!
Now, my last comments will get to the nerve. They will be on politics. I am not a Republican. And, George Bush has made enough mistakes as President to insure my feelings about that for the rest of my life. However, the Democratic Party has moved so far left, they have made me support those farther to the right. I am a conservative who totally supports the Constitution of this country. The only difference between the United States and the South American, third world, dictator infested and ever-changing South American governments, is our US Constitution.
This Republic (note I did not say Democracy) is the longest standing the world has ever known, but it is vulnerable. It would take so little to change it through economic upheaval. There was a time when politicians could disagree, but still work together. We are past that time, and that is the initial step toward the downfall of our form of government. I think that many view Bush-hating as payback time. The Republicans hated the Clintons and now the Democrats hate Bush. So, both parties are putting their hate toward willingness to do anything for political dominance to include lying and always taking the opposite stand just for the sake of being opposed. JUST HOW GOOD IS THAT FOR OUR COUNTRY?
In my lifetime, after serving in uniform for President's Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, and Bush I have a pretty good feel for which party supported our military, and what military life was like under each of their terms. And, let me assure you that times were best under the Republicans. Service under Jimmy Carter was devastating for all branches of the military. And, Ronald Reagan was truly a salvation. You can choose to listen to enriched newscasters, and foolish people like John Murtha (he is no war hero), Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Michael Moore, Jane Fonda , Harry Reid, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, and on-and-on to include the true fools in Hollywood if you like. If you do, your conclusions will be totally wrong.
The reason that I write, appear on radio talk shows, and do everything I can to denounce those people is simple. THEY ARE PUTTING THEIR THIRST FOR POLITICAL POWER AND QUEST FOR VICTORY IN 2008 ABOVE WHAT IS BEST FOR THIS COUNTRY. I cannot abide that. Pelosi clearly defied the Logan Act by going to Syria, which should have lead to imprisonment of three years and a heavy fine. Jane Fonda did more to prolong the Vietnam war longer than any other human being (as acknowledged by Ho Chi Minh in his writing before he died). She truly should have been indicted for treason, along with her radical husband Tom Hayden, and forced to pay the consequences.
This country has started to soften by not enforcing its laws, which is another indication of a Republic about to fall. All Democrats, along with the Hollywood elite, are sending us headlong into a total defeat in the Middle East, which will finally give Iran total dominance in the region. A lack of oil in the near future will be the final straw that dooms this Republic. However, if we refuse to let this happen and really get serious about an energy self-sufficiency program, this can be avoided.
I am afraid, however, that we are going in the opposite direction. If we elect Hillary Clinton and a Democrat controlled congress, and they carry through with allowing Iran to take control of the Middle East, continue to refuse development of nuclear energy, refuse to allow drilling for new oil, and continue to do nothing but oppose everything Bush, it will be over in terms of what we view as the good life in the USA.
Now, do I think that all who do not support the war are un-American---of course not. They just do not understand the importance of total victory in that region. Another failure of George Bush is his inability to explain to the American people why we are there, and why we MUST win. By the way, it is not a war. The war was won four years ago. It is martial law that is under attack by Iranian and Syrian outside influences, and there is a difference.
So, what do I believe? What is the bottom line? I will simply say that the Democratic Party has fielded the foulest, power hungry, anti-country, self absorbed group of individuals that I have observed in my lifetime. Our educational system is partially to blame for allowing the mass of America to be taken in by this group. George Bush has done the best he can with the disabilities that he possesses. A President must communicate with the people. And, I would tell you that Desert Storm spoiled the people. Bush Senior's 100-hour war convinced the people that technology has progressed to the point that wars could be fought with no casualties and won in very short periods of time.
I remember feeling at the time, that this was a tragedy for the US military. To win wars, you must put boots on the ground. When you put boots on the ground, soldiers are going to die. A President must make the war decision wisely, and insure that the cause is right before using his last political option.
However, CONTROLLING IRAN AND DEMOCRATIZING THE MIDDLE EAST IS THE ONLY CHOICE IF WE ARE HELL-BENT ON DEPENDING ON THEM FOR OUR FUTURE ENERGY NEEDS.

Muy perfecto!
"You are continuously over-reaching with your implications and that seems to signal there is more motive involved than providing an education for the readers. There has been a disturbing amount of adverse spin applied in supporting sequences with these events. I would really love to see all of this matter closely scrutinized by the SEC to find if there is a perpetrator of fraud here in RH, or, in my opinion more likely a number of manipulative schemes by others."
Usually the one that has the most to lose files for the injunction. My guess would be that without MCCY/ECN's security protocol and secure telemetry and 8 other product options, SDS doesn't have much to offer. Sort of who needs who the most? JMHO

"On September 22, 2006, the Carbon Recovery Corporation entered into a Plan and Agreement of Reorganization ("Agreement") with Global Resource Corporation. Pursuant to the Agreement, Global Resource Corporation acquired all of the assets and assumed all of the liabilities and related development stage business of Carbon Recovery Corporation in exchange for 48,688,996 common shares and the assumption of a convertible debenture and accrued interest in the amount of $120,682 by Carbon Recovery Corporation, subsequent the convertible debenture was eliminated by issuing 2,681,837 of the Company's common stock.. The holders of Global Resource Corporation's capital stock before the Agreement retained 72,241 shares of common stock. Prior to the Agreement, Carbon Recovery Corporation had warrants outstanding. Superpink - I probably should not have said that the most important combination was Argo Navigation - It may well turn out to be Biocognisafe. Their final "corporate" connection is still unknown and should be revealed next week, however the technology they are bringing to the table may turn out to be the most "saleable" aspect of the entire FOLO system and the one element that will give MCCY a huge marketing edge over other plain vanilla GPS based systems. It may already be the main reason they have 131 contracts in hand? IMO KP

Jef - We would like to announce that in conjunction with The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) attorney Alain B Houle has begun a full review, verification and audit process of all business matters related to Media City Corporation, GPS Global, ECN Canada, ECN Holding, Effective Control trucking LLC, and Argo Navigation. This "legal opinion" will be found on encholding's website and will be updated as information is added. Mr. Alain Houle will also be taking this opportunity to consolidate all of the above mentioned companies into MCCY except for the technology related to the energy sector.
Having worked with many startups during my career in Advertising and Marketing in SF - Silicon Valley, I can honestly say that I never experienced a startup company that was as transparent as MCCY. For anyone still doing their DD, I suggest you read, or re-read, every news release since they went public in June. The only thing that has proven not to be true was a contract that mistakenly was reported to be with Volkswagen South America instead of Volkswagen Mexico.
My marketing background led me to contact the MCCY sales and marketing people to get some DD input. I'm now confident the sales numbers announced so far are real and not wild projections. This FOLO product will prove useful to a large number of people. The sales literature with a phone number is below.
Everything released to date is being reviewed by the CPA, Attorney and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Verified updates are due Sept 24. My expectation is 100%.

It's already effective as of today! A limited number of Mexican trucking companies can now deliver goods anywhere in the U.S. They were previously limited to 25 miles before they transferred the cargo to a U.S. Co.
I'm sure the MCCY sales dept sees this as a great oppportunity.

Hi Rinvino! Welcome aboard. I take it you finally got a good fill.
Media City Corp was the shell that Huppe reverse merged his Effective Control Trucking into in June. ECT operated as a private Co for the previous 6 years and everything is now in the ECN holding co. Plan is to eventually change the name and ticker. I think they have a lot of thing on their plate right now that have taken priority.
This board is a real mix of Bashers, Hypters, Traders, Experienced Investors and Rookies. I have watched the goings on since June so if you have questions or need help sorting it all out, let me know. As I said before, this is the best op I've seen in 10 years and I have my boat loaded.
I'm out of GBRC for a while but still have all my MSRM shares.
Dragon Man thinks you're a girl. Which is it?
GLTAOU KP
Sorry Soul Washer - I must be one of the dumb ones. I sold Aug. 14 @ $4.85. Too much shorting and suspect posting going on! I do still have my MSRM which should convert in a month or so.
A sudden $1 million increase in short interest in a small volumn stock like this is too?????? Looks like the Forbes article was part of the plan? I smell MM?
I will likely be back after the short interest is down and/or the the Hawk 10 they sold to Gershow is delivered in Dec or Jan. Good people - good tech. GLTY
I think Hardball88 might be able to solve the energy crisis himself. He's no doubt the largest untapped source of natural gas on the planet.
KP
No!!! I have already shared my DD methods and conclusions with this board.
The reasons for my conclusions are mine They give me an advantage over people like you. You claim to have done yours and decided against GBRC. Why are you still here other than to bash this company? If you want to compare all your technical stuff, I suggest you call Hawk Hogan @ GRC.
You have not posted your DD results?. All you have posted is as if this is a University reasearch project where all the students drag a bunch of ideas to class and discuss them. This board is for the discussion of GBRC, the company and it's stock, not for the promotion of three wheel motorcycles made by another company. Please post on their board.
Please don't misquote, twist or adjust any of my statements again AH.
"Kennypooh previously stated that according to his due diligence, the GBRC is better than "most" of the technologies out there for tire recycling, etc., and that the market out there is big enough to allow GBRC to be successful despite technologies that are better than GBRC.
Would Kennypooh be willing to share with the board those technologies he discovered that are better than GBRC's?"
There is nothing illegal about being paid to bash a company any more than there is against promoting or Hyping one. There are Hundreds of paid promoters that charge a fee to promote a stock through PR releases, spam or whatever means. Shorters hire Bashers to convince investors to sell by spreading rumors, inuendo etc. and create the fear the stock price will go down soon. Hypsters do the same thing to cause the stock to go up, and then they dump their shares.
The Pink Sheets are a haven for some real shady types. People hide behind aliases and spew out all kinds of stuff. There is little or no trust anywhere. Most are Traders, not Investors. It takes a lot of patience and time to be a winner in the pinkies. However, the rewards can be far greater than any other venue if you can stomach all the lies and nonsense that go down, especially on these investment boards. I just closed 3/4 of my position today in a 17 bagger that I just entered June 24 - SWVC. Im a happy camper today.
Bashing and Hyping are just two sides of the same coin.

Dragon man - I questioned his actions in a previous post.

"kennypook. what do you think of hard ball? i think he paid person.
when rinvino mean when she talk about salt water story?"
Journalists don't like egg on their face either!
Telematics industry starting to cover them:

Statx - My guess would be that neither current investors nor anyone currently partnering with MCCY would have a claim to, or financial interest in, the inellectual property rights or future value of the energy applications, without additional investment. Why should any start up costs come out of current owners pockets either? Seems like a normal spin off to me - posibly precipitated by takeover negotiations. JMHO
KP
"question is do we as MCCY shareholders have returned value in MCCY's energy division??"
Thanks Tiki - nearly $1.5 million short at end of Aug.
Shorters and Bashers travel in tandem. If you spot one, the other is never far behind. They trade not invest.
Bashing and hyping are just two sides of the same coin.
If you're not a trader, it takes patience and trust.

Some good reading for you!

This was not in today's PR.
You are the one that is inaccurate and your post smells!!!!.
"Such factors include...our need for significant capital to finance internal growth as well as strategic acquisitions..."
Better make that 6 years plus 4 months as a public company.
Best to bring yourself up to speed before going on stage and giving a poor performance. Doogle is very "bright" as one of the board monitors.

Sorry Moolkie, but the AF will likely only show what actually happened prior to June 30. Most of the contracts and revenue have taken place since and will likely remain on an estimated basis until end of Quarter - Sept. 30.
Either people believe management's PRs or they don't.
It's Managements job to decide how and when a white paper should be assembled, what it should contain, and who should prepare it - they decide if an order from the DOT is more important than an order from XYZ trucking - they negotiate takeovers - they negotiate contracts - they decide who does the financials and when - they order product and decide the best way to ship it and where to store the frigging inventory. They decide when to spin off a division into a shell and why.
The DD on this management team indicates they are highly intelligent, are making good decisions, and have some real heavyweights supporting them. As retail shareholders or potential investors, our only choice is to trust them or to go elsewhere. We have no real say in anything, so we can only hope they do things right and report their progress in a timely fashion.
To spend endless amounts of time second guessing and micro managing everything is a total waste. It has little to do with real DD. I pray they wont waste any of their precious time sifting through the micro management trash on this board.

"The only thing that is holding this down is the audited financials thats it, it has nothing to do with it being clear or not".
Fourkids - It's fruitless to waste time responding to Bashers. They are not investors - only traders. Best to not even acknowledge their dribble IMO.
Bashing and Hyping are just two sides of the same coin.
Many Hypers on this board only want to see the stock run fast, but the ideal situation for any young company is to try to maintain a balance. If a stock accelerates too fast without news, you invite the SEC to come a knocking and then have to deal with the burden of extra paperwork to explain the sudden rise. Best to schedule releases in balance with expected price growth. Management has done an excellent job so far IMO.

how many times
do you ask the same question
before it is considered spam...
who exactly is *uninformed*
Doogle - You must have the patience of an angel. I commend you and thank you for your good work as a monitor on this board.
I can see how FOLO is confusing to many people because there is no one thing to look at and identify as the FOLO product. As I understand it, it is a combination of software technology, network technology and hardware that monitors multiple customer functions or tasks. One customer may buy a system to handle only three tasks while another may buy one to monitor 8 tasks. Some tasks can run on different existing manufactures hardware, so other than the Biocognisafe portion, hardware in any photo of a system might look different depending on who's system was being photographed. It's also my understanding that MCCY would eventually like to suppy all of the components (except maybe the mobile network it runs on).
Hopefully an update to the web site might clarify things but, in the interim, it might be good to ask the company for a better written description that could be placed in the IBOX.
KP
OT: The DD on the MCCY software brainiacs indicates they are highly intelligent, are making big waves, good decisions, and have some real heavyweights supporting them. The IHUB moderators have done a good job and the DD info in the IBOX is excellent and up to date. Their software and biogognisafe system must be very innovative as some big boys are after them. Could be some kind of takeover in the next two months - they have announced they are negotiating a takeover offer/s.
