davidam - You are correct! The shares canceled today really mean nothing until we have consolidated financials of all the entities and can see what MCCY/ECT owns.
The 9/14/07 Alain B Houle legal opinion letter was a "recommendation", not an actual event. The 60 million shares were for RH and key employees in exchange for the intellectual property of the FOLO System. If, for whatever reason, they do not to follow the 9/14 recommendation and 40 million shares are returned to RH (in the form of options), where are the intellectual properties? Do they go with the RH shares back to ECN Holdings or stay within MCCY/ECT? This is as bothersome for shareholders as before when all MCCY had under it's umbrella was Effective Control Trucking LLC.
"Media City Corporation shall complete within the upcoming days the issuance of sixty million (60,000,000) restricted shares to be distributed amongst Raphael Huppe and key employees of ECN Holding LLC, ECN Control Canada Inc., Effective Control Trucking LLC, Effective Control Transport, GPS Global and any other related entity to insure the transfer of the intellectual property to Media City Corporation. As this stock is restricted, it is understood that this stock cannot be sold in order to raise funds. It is our recommendation to consolidate all of the above mentioned companies.
Those with credibility spell it R A P H A E L.

Frank gives back 52,854,282 common shares plus warrants for another 23,500,000 for a total of 76,354,282 shares returned to our kitty so they can uplist. We then give 2,600,000 shares out for $2 million dollars cash.
Not a bad exchange from a shareholder point of view. JMHO
The conversion process was laid out in the July 20 letter to the shareholders. They hired an attorney to file the SB-2 and I was told by Jeff on Aug 29 that it was being done "as we spoke". Now he tells you it has not yet been filed and to "check back in a couple of weeks". This means approx 11.5 million shares (over $22 million dollars) of GBRC stock, held in escrow, cannot be traded by it's legal owners, until they do what? Maybe they should hire a better attorney or they may wind up in a courthouse before they wind up on the AMEX. JMHO

I assume all of the GBRC shares and warrants are being held in escrow by the transfer agent and can't be released to anyone until the SEC approves the Sb2. The question is - has it even been filed?
That explains the current state of the stock - Post Lootem Depression!
You asked about the technical qualifications of the people in GRC. Hawk Hogan had his own design engineering firm with 32 years experience. He put his business aside the first of 2007 to concentrate on GRC. Parts of his old web site are still active and may be of help to you. Kp

After all the development stage work, the issuance of patents (expected at any time) would be as good a "public report" as we could hope for IMO. kp
"So can anyone outline concrete commercial deals that GRC is entering into? It may be I've missed the detail coming on to this board relatively late. I've seen references to new ventures, but have some trouble deciphering the code that people appear to speak on here at times."
Hardballz - Who is the mysterious "we" you refer to again? Are you openly admitting to being a competitor of GBRC or ? kp
"we would simply disagree that it will be GBRC's technology that will provide the most economical solution for micro-processing of waste to energy. We do welcome GBRC's efforts as a comparative benchmark."
Fogg - Mobilestream was merged into Global last January and there has not been a company operating as Mobilstream Oil since then. The only thing that has not happened is the exchange of shares which had to be registered before they could be exchanged. You own shares of GBRC (1 share GBRC for every 7.143 MSRM you have) and you should be looking at pinksheet info for GBRC. They are the only operating entity at this time and the only "performance" you need to look at. kp
"I am not a specialist but this performance does not look impressive to me. However this may be normal activity for a start-up engineering enterprise about to be converted to Global."
Hardballz - In fencing, the riposte is an offensive action!
You posted a message yesterday from another board written by "Phred" and made it appear that you were the one who had contacted Jeff Andrews. You earlier posted a critical message written 7/7 by a "victor" on the Google Finance GBRC board and then asked us "Is anyone on the board qualified to comment on his critique of the HAWK-10".
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=23482765
Why did'nt you post victor's 7/19 post on the same topic? Was it your intent to post something "out of context" to mislead us and make this company look bad?
I will post it for the board and I hope "victor" will not mind.

As a mechanical engineer I was initially very skeptical of the
HAWK-10. I have read about numerous other companies that have tried
and failed to efficiently recycle oil and gas from petroleum based
products. Until I learned more about the HAWK-10, I did not know
whether or not GBRC was claiming to be able to restore the original
hydrocarbon molecules from recycled products (which is impossible
using microwaves due to the laws of entropy and thermodynamics), or
trying to break recycled products into lighter (less viscous) forms of
petroleum and gas. Since GBRC is not claiming to break the laws of
physics, I believe that the HAWK-10 has huge potential.
While the large scale HAWK-10 works for recycling plants, there are
many more markets that can benefit.
Billions in revenue can be generated by selling a small scale HAWK-10
as a backup generator for use in homes and offices.
The HAWK-10 can be put to use in impoverished communities and 3rd
world countries (or anywhere else) to generate electricity from
discarded materials that are commonly used to build makeshift houses.
With the rising cost of oil, it has become economical to reopen
depleted drilling sites for extraction of existing oil that was too
viscous to efficiently refine without the HAWK-10.
I expect GBRC to jump by at least 40% when the company's patent is
granted, and to jump another 20% when Gershaw receives the first
HAWK-10. This stock will, of course, jump by at least 25% when Gershaw
praises the efficiency and energy savings of the HAWK-10.
When GBRC announces which company will manufacture the microwave
components, this stock will jump by at least 20%. This could happen
very soon. It is possible that GBRC is withholding the disclosure of
the microwave specs until after the patent is granted. Ingersoll could
receive the microwave production contract because the company is fully
capable of manufacturing such items. (I'd be surprised if the
microwave contract went to a different company)
In the short term, I expect GBRC to have a run up past $8 after the
market 'digests' last week's rally. The bulls are waiting on the
sidelines to see if this stock will pull back to $4. It might not, and
when fears of a pullback ease, this stock will continue its run.
My only concern is that if a pullback does come, it could be severe in
the short term because there are many momentum traders in this stock
who will get scared off if it drops below its support level. Long term
prospects are very good though. Buy on any weakness in price.
Another interesting fact is that this stock will surge yet again when
its market cap reaches about $200m. This is because GBRC is currently
too small for the multi-billion dollar hedge funds to play. (i.e. the
big boys trading Exxon who are beginning to focus their attention on
GBRC)
As someone who works on Wall Street, I often spend my lunch breaks at
Starbucks overhearing which stocks the traders are talking about and
sometimes asking these guys what they think of certain stocks. The
first question traders often ask me when I mention a stock is "What is
the market cap?" Anything below $200m seems to not be worth
mentioning.
....so be sure to buy into this stock before its capitalization
reaches $200m !!

dragon - The short interest does not tell you how many shares are legitimate shorts and how many are "naked". Not correct to say that all shorts have to be covered by Oct 15th?
The short interest tells you how many bets there are at any time that the stock will likely go down. I don't think that 50% of GBRC stock in the float has ever been short? When a price gets too high, traders sell short in hopes price will go down - nothing bad or illegal about it.
Go to pinksheets and click on "short interest".

Dragon Man - Not true. The new regulations only cover "naked sort sales" (NSS) not normal shorting where the sale is covered by borrowed stock from another client's or broker's account. Normal short sales, covered by borrowed stock, will still remain open until a "buy to cover" trade is made. kp

How to make a Million Dollars from penny stocks.
Start with 2 Million.
From SEC filings 8/06/07

Hardball88 - Thanks for the apology! We're all square.
There is always honest disagreement regarding the future of any company - that's okay - but individuals who hide behind phony names and repeatedly couch innuendo as truth to degrade the individuals running a company and frighten investors away is no different than someone making false and misleading statements to encourage investors to buy. Both are despicable IMO.
Maybe it's time to establish a mandatory third party service that pre-checks the validity of key information released from small companies and posts it? This would eliminate most of the nonsense on both sides. Startups seldom have the manpower, expertise or finances to be completely transparent. A third party service with legal, financial and technical expertise on staff could research and verify information before it's released to the public. It could be supported by fees collected from the brokerage community through the SEC and FINRA plus investor subscriptions. Companies and investors need more help than just rules and guidelines.
I'm retired and work part time as a pain in the ass, so I wont start it, but someone with mulitple talents could create a nice business doing it. I will be the first subscriber @ $100+ a month.

Hardballz - Sounds to me like you have decided to invest in other technologies.
"And, the DOE Report sited includes technologies that describe a cost per recovered barrel of oil from oil shale at half that estimated by GBRC".
The other part of your post has already been posted on the Mobilestream board and discussed a length. It pertains to Mobilestream Oil two years ago. Stop using other peoples material to further your agenda. You still owe the board an apology from before. Where is it! kp

The location of the demonstration will be at Ingersoll Production Systems in Rockford, IL
Have fun!
To Hardballz and his friend Victor:
Will the system work? After witnessing
demonstrations at GRC headquarters, Dinesh
Agrawal, director of the Microwave Processing
and Engineering Center at Pennsylvania State
University (University Park, Pa.), notes two innovations
that make the process seem promising for
recycling ASR or just about anything else containing
hydrocarbons. “Using a microwave energy
application for recovering oil and gas from tires
and other things is not new,” he says. “It’s
already been done in Australia and Japan and
other places.” What’s unique, he says, is “they
use, number one, a continuing microwave system
with varying frequencies, while others have used
only a single frequency which is the same as your
kitchen microwave. Second, they use a vacuum.”
"It would be even more useful to hear comment from a credible, independent and neutral third party"

Fogg - US companies are not allowed to communicate directly with individual shareholders (inside information) but rather must make public announcements through press releases or filings with the SEC. Such announcements and filings can be found on the company's web site, the SEC web site, or a site such as Yahoo.com. They may not have realized it, but I'm confident your parents had access to all the same information at the same time other shareholders did.
The usual process when a brokerage firm goes out of business, is to take your share certificates to another broker and they will execute trades for you. Olde Monmouth is not a "broker", they are only a Transfer Agent. kp
"sorry it was a guess
It was a couple of things you said plus referring me to the sec enforcement section.
As to Aston Rowe being acceptable I think not. However I get your point. They are the subject of numerous warnings in Europe. They are not licensed anywhere as far as I can see. The transactions they instigated bore all the hallmarks of scams."
Fogg - Sorry, I'm just a holder of MSRM shares purchased on the open market and am not associated with any regulatory agency.
I can't help you with the original offering from Mobiliestream. I must say I don't see anything out of the ordinary with regard to people subscribing for original issue shares direct from the company during a subscription period. Those subscriptions have to be submitted to the Transfer Agent and registered which it appears the were. They were also obviously part of a 6 for 1 forward split in June 06 as additional shares were issued to your parents at that time according to you.
A Transer Agent acts as the repository between the issuer (Mobilestream) and the owner (your Parents). It appears the Aston Rowe was just one of many sales firms that likely helped Mobilestream sell their original subsription of shares.
As to the legitimacy of Aston Rowe operating in the UK as a licensed broker, or not, I have no idea. Good luck! kp
DPW - ECN Holdings has proprietary software, developed over 7 years by Huppe, for a system which is based on a unique technology (Secure Telemetry, and Security Protocol).
