Thanks. Let Les know Washinton is shutdown waiting for answers.......
Bored Lawyer, I trust "fire" is being used figuratively and not literally.......
LG age is in early seventies (nearly as old as Boynton) LP not much younger. They are setup to cash out. BO is plausible.....we'll see.
He can be crafty.
Agreed. With short week we likely don't get much.....especially in light of world leaders comparing button size.
I would hope they announce/schedule the ASM after this last remaining suit is settled.
Then the Lerner complaint was likely poorly written in that the date of FDA issued hold was not known and the hold only became publicly known on August 21st 2015 (post revelation of German hold). That senerio is certainly more plausible. Thanks.
Wasn't the hold in Germany dated around August 6th 2015? Which is approximately two weeks prior to the FDA's hold.......if I'm correct here anybody have any ideas on this apparent chronological discrepancy? German efficiency.
Flip/Ex, Excuse me for butting in on your dialogue. What would be the rationale for Germany to lower the inclusion criteria and then fill the trial as rapidly as they accomplished in Germany? Aside from helping fill the trial faster why would Germany lower the inclusion criteria? I think I know Flip's thoughts and would be interested if Ex has any additional insights.
Evan Greebel passing the bar(s) on first attempt....admirable
"Refund?!"
Some novel thinking from Shalabi.
We'll see.
Beartrap, Seem management has successfully created a lot of interest in attending the ASM. Don't know if this was their intent, but they must be aware of the heightened interest. Now let's see what date they schedule and the venue. A small room/venue during the holidays would not be a positive.
You are indeed a rare bird Falconx, and long tail to boot. Best wishes.
You've already received three good replies, no arguments here. I expect/hope we will start to get more info before the upcoming ASM. If not the ASM is shaping up to a pivotal one and I'm already curious if posters such as beartrap will be in attendance. If so I may feed her some questions this year.
Kabunushi, A while back I recall China asking DMB what was their estimate of the cost of the cleanroom space in the expansion at Cognate. DMB provided a fair estimate in the $9-10 mil range. Normally a cleanroom addition of this size would be done with one, two maybe three suites. What we've seen in the Cognate expansion is 16 suites. I believe the large number of smaller suites is to facilitate production scalability. I also think with the number of class 100 (my assumption) suites it could easily push the cost of the Cognate cleanroom expansion closer to $20 mil IMO. Not to mention costs associated with bring suites on-line and getting certificication which appears they are pursuing based on their hiring.
Hank et al, Before I slide into a Tryptophan induced stupor (added by wine) later today. A Happy Thanksgiving to those of us in the States (the Canucks have already had their Thanksgiving....their always ahead of us).
I'll point out the vast majority of the bad behavior in your post is perpetrated by dudes. I've read some posts recently from Extreamist and Maverick about stewardship qualities of women CEO's. (Men are more likely to engage in risky behavior and take on more risk. There are studies that substantiate these findings). I decided going in on this investment I'd give a lot more latitude because it's run by woman. We'll see how this plays out.
(In the interest of disclosure I'm a dude)
Biggest is debatable (and that's a debate I don't want). However, I'll give you most persistent.
As always incitefull.
Doing by phone conference tells me what I need to know. And just in time for the holidays.
We'll see.
Good stuff! Helps set the table for Boynton's appearance on Decmber 6th. And thanks for the link.
Breaching Milner's (who's been curiously absent) Mendoza line is positive.
Trotting out the old man for his possible day in the sun (proper SPF applied) and new trademark are nice finds. Thanks.
See post 140010.
That is some classic mansplaining. Especially like this response (non-response):
Adam F.
You don't understand the technology.
Rough couple of weeks in music world. Downie did some good and courageous things in short time he had left after diagnoses. Seems to be a common theme amongst public figures afflicted with GBM diagnosis. GBM tends to bring some clarity as to what is important in the time they have remaining. This is another sad loss his talent and compassion will be missed.....
I appreciate Dr. Gottlieb's value proposition of combined phase studies. Albeit of all the new oncology products coming to market on average living cell products will take longer to reach approval IMO.
Any insights as to who the multiple portfolos are in regards to Capita's holdings?
NICE. Thanks
Bayh's husband Evan ran for senate from Indiana last year. I think there were expectations (history of political success and son of former governor) he would win. He did not win. Without residence and political clout in D.C. I suspect Mrs Bayh (and Mr.) decided to pack things in politically speaking.
When a stock is sub $1 and a company is faced with delisting don't you think a R/S is pretty much SOP as part of any plan submitted to NASDQ? Plan can include many facits to raise share price with the R/S being one certain aspect the NASDQ will view as guaranteeing the company can attain share price above $1. Gives the NASDQ level of certainty to approve any plan.
Yep. Some of the pharma facilities on PR are highly automated virtually lights out production. They can automate anywhere and don't need a tax incentive to do so.
In regards to NWBO process automation, I'm betting, has a role to play in living cell production making the vaccines more efficacious. Some good discussions in this area primarily about Direct on the board yesterday.
No time outs left. Simply need to keep it in play and run out the clock.
My understanding is, albeit incomplete, that facilities/plants are for the most part intact. A lot of pediatric vaccines (I trust there are few if any anti-vac'rs on this forum) come out of PR we might start seeing shortages in this area first. Gottlieb scoring some points in my book by trying to get ahead of the situation.....and charter jet travel would be justified if needed IMO.
The country will be better served by Gottlieb going to PR as a lot of pharma both over the counter and prescription is produced on the island. And this will become an issue, but is currently (and rightfully) overshadowed by the overall situation on PR.
Or as TheFollower and Flip point out there is a lot of pharma production on the island of Puerto Rico and another swampy situation. Take your pick
As smokey points out Gottlieb is on the short list to replace the jet setting (charter of course) Tom Price. Suspect something is up as things are getting swampy in DC
