VC, are ventrure capital, they invest there own money in start up promising company and get the reward if successful and if not they loose. VC,s of amrn were orbimed soffinova etc.. now u get it. they invested in AMRN $70 miliion at 1 dollar/share, just think about what they have gained and what they will gain after the ANCHOR trial is a success. they are taking profit on there investment which everybody should do. I am very confident with AMRN results. if they are not successful with ANCHOR.. than i will become cryptics and critic every biotech left and right!

Cryptic , i think u need to be patient. I think you don,t get AMRN. You can not think that AMRn have great volume everyday and goes up everyday, that is Foolish!!!!!!!!! IF you believe in AMRN science than don,t bother about day today fluctuation, they are part and parcle of biotech stock trading, if you bother too much about it , than biotech investing is not for you!

AMRN - has very bad habit doing everything early they reported marine results at least one month before the anticipated timeline. this is one of the few companies which underpromise and overdeliver and i have seen this again and again.. nothing is sure in the world of biotechs, but with this one , i think results should not be delayed later than end of april.. results should be good too.

i dont think so, looks to me short covering. all the biotechs were up to day. should trend lower in short term. in medium term i am bullish on this one. would like to add below 5.90.

Who want to know institutional holding for AMRN!! we know it has great science and odds of success are very high. Is it 100 % , No.. but with the marine data, ( 25 % ) patient on statin and no increase in LDL.. the higher the tryglyceride , more difficult it is to control LDL with omega 3 /EPA. with anchor trial , lower TG group, chances of positive data are very mcuh intact, as long as that is maintained , i don,t care about day to day fluctuation. If you believe in data, than stay calm and just wait.

we will see. AMRN should fly in few weeks!

AMRN selling_ If insiders are selling because they know the results will be bed?? They will be in trouble . They know that. They have filled so many form 4s, Sec knows it. Soffinova, orbimed are reputable VC firms. As Ron said they are taking just profit. During cc they told in public about the insider selling. They wont dare it if they are doing knowingly, on the contrary it speaks of confidence that result will be good.

Not surprised to see that, as price in not going up, once VC will stop selling it should go up. I don,t know what is there stop limit!!!!!!!!!!!

sold my holding with 5 % profit today. news is good but it seems it may take few more weeks or may be month for approval. want to put my money in AMRN before it takes off. AMRN is channel bound and seems to me a good time to add.

You are right RON. very good point , but , i think there are exception..look at plx.. it was going down before crl, went up to 10.50 and slowly came down to low 9's before approval. i am not saying , same will happen to AMRN, as AMRN and pLX are very different animals altogether, just thinking that PPS movement before binery event is not at all reliable criteria!!!!!!!!

solid company more than 60 year old. just posted solid Q4 result. quality conscious.

fda did plant inspection last year . one plant had no deficiency and other had two minor which they replied. reinspection was supposed to happen week. waiting for update from the company in few days to week. next week company is having presentation also.

Good luck to u but honestly, does not look good to me the way it was halted and the way it traded this morning. I really hope it turns out good for you. keep very close eye on it and act fast if at all something bad comes out.

I agree with you it may be 6 month or 12 months. here is the thing, plant based is better than animal cell based. less risk of viral contamination . PLX has europe coming in april and brazil talks are going on right now per 10 K, very strong big brother PFE. short term , yes may be bad. mid to long term , really looks good at these levels.
