It will rank up there with the rest of them especially if the conclusion of the thesis is acted upon by New York City.
On a scale of IsleChem to SAIC, where does this Master's thesis rate?
so you're called a student's thesis a pump?
Nice report out of Columbia University. All the real facts and science led to the conclusion that JBI is the most viable alternative to landfill and/or other pyrolysis companies.
after Monday's news we'll be back to the 1.50 level - imo
no one willing to sell at the bid - they're all waiting for the CC
We seem to be hashing the same things over and over and over again and again and again.
Yes, the SEC issue is over;
Yes, there was an officer ban and fine;
Yes, the company will not achieve CFP Q12013 or so it appears.
Yes, the revenues for 2012 were not as good as expected and were only about 400% higher than 2011 suggesting significant progress.
Yes, the costs are still too high but the company appears to be heading in the right direction and have cut costs by over $1,000,000 year over year.
Many of you here fail to remember that the company is in start-up with a new technology. They have a catalyst that works which has been corroborated by SAIC, Islechem, the DEC, and a number of fuel testing labs. The DEC has provided all the necessary permits - the 1st time in the State of New York. The DEC is also said to be very encouraged/excited by the prospects that JBII's technology will be a solution to the world's plastic waste problem. No pyrolysis company has come this far this quick with such great results. I believe by the end of this year the technology will have evolved to the point where they will be rolling-out commercially.
What's coming:
# 3 coming on-line
# 1 running better (perhaps with the help of HTF)
Steady revenue increases
Substantial cost reductions
CFP
New independent BoD
Increased media coverage
Commencement of RKT site
all resulting in an increase in the PPS and eventual up-listing.
the accounting error
I don't think that's incorrect to assume that but after spending all that money on a refit I expect they will want to make sure they can maximize output - and HTF may be the answer and further tweeking
Pyrolysis doesn't work for companies before JBI. That's why this new tech is so exciting. The numbers will prove this in short order.
They have what, 57 employees running the entire company and numerous expenses. Revenues are increasing and costs are being slashed with more to come.
Pyrolysis works and JBI will be the 1st to make it work profitably.
Yes that's awesome news isn't it?
Great news!!!! They are recycling more cardboard than ever before!
A whole lot more than any pyrolysis company in North America at the 4 years old mark that's for sure.
The numbers are as reported.
If nothing is produced the air permit is fine. What has JBII produced and to whom was it sold?
Can you name any other pyrolysis company that has done so much in such a short period of time in North America? Can you name another company that has been approved for a Solid Waste Permit/Operating Permit anywhere in North America ever? Can you name any other company that has the results achieved by JBI in 4 years?
There are many pyrolysis companies that have been around for double/triple the time and haven't achieved half as much?
So yes,in comparison it's a start-up - not for long though.
4 years in business doesnt qualify as a "start-up".
I expect shareholders can come up with appropriate questions?
Absolutely correct - no pyrolysis company has progressed so quickly with such great results - none. We have to remember that. The progression has been phenomenal.
As for Bordynuik's technical knowledge, again, the results continue to speak for themselves.

I believe it is their intention to fix the problems with # 1 so that there are no issues with production. Perhaps when/if HTF can be used that will be a solution as well.

That are no findings on any facts - and that's a fact. If you were an IR of a company how would you PR this info?
Some here have experience with lawsuits and have settled in the 150,000 and 160,000 range - they should know how this works - no?
probably bought a bunch of shares
today?
we may never see .70 again
great pick-up you probably timed the buy just right
I prefer looking to the future with continued cost cutting and revenue increases
yet costs are going down and revenues are going up.
and JBII is red - go figure - JBII is so much better yet their PPS increases and ours goes red.
Reality - start up company just starting their engine.
Wow they must be disappointed - a lot of new investors might be headed our way today.
KIOR just reported results -- lost $30 million on $87,000 in sales.
32 tankers more than any other company in their early stages of development. JBII way way ahead of curve!
Even though revenues were lower than expected the 10K shows we are getting closer to the promise land.
Higher revenues
Lower costs
New independent BoD
SEC sign off
Media
# 3 coming on-line
Parts arriving or received for # 4
Jacksonville site development progressing
Anticipate JBII being CFP very soon.
A little more cost cutting and a little higher revenues and we're CFP. There's no reason we can't get the costs down to the 500,000 range and the revenues to about that level in Q1. With # 3 coming (possible in Q2) we'll get there no problem - a few more months and we'll be profitability.
how high is the PPS apt to run tomorrow - I'm thinking back to the 1.50 level.
if they increase revenues to between 400,000 and 500,000 and cut expenses to approximately 500,000 they will be close to CFP.
Processor #3 is self-cleaning w/o shut down + they anticipate using HTF to assist.
2013Q1 - That was PR'ed some time ago.
This plant, which has the capacity of 6000 metric tons of waste plastic per year ... lol
The company was started in 1996 - some 17 years ago.
Looks like the liquid faction section caught fire in 1997.
how much revenue has been generated by Agilyx or any other Pyrolysis company for that matter and while your at it perhaps you can provide their gross margins and how long they've been building their systems.
GREAT K. After all the issues they continue to forge ahead.
The competition has been trying to make this tech work for at least twice as long and haven't gotten 1/2 this far. JBI and shareholders expectations have been way to high - having said that JBI is making substantial progress with revenues of nearly a million $. Costs have been reduced substantially and there is no reason not to think that revenues will continue to grow and cost will continue to be reduced.
if we at least triple revenues every year ... wow
In the year ended December 31, 2012, we had total sales of approximately $986,000, of which approximately $916,000 were derived from our P2O business and approximately $70,000 were derived from our Data Business. In the year ended December 31, 2011, we had total sales of approximately $288,000 from our P2O business. We had no sales derived from our Data Business during this period.
is that an average of 2.89 per gallon?
