Big money looking for footholds in social media
also google Haim Saban mogul billionaire buying up brands with 500 million.
Saban Capital Group Inc.
The Philippines is definitely fertile ground for hypster.com growth The future is indeed very bright with ASIA in the mix.
Yes indeed--if you believe this co. has a bright future buy at .0002-.0004
BUY at ASK because if something unexpected happens you will kick yourself for not having an early position.
The approaching 2,000,000 milestone and associated enthusiasm has increased a vital thing called EXPOSURE.
I cannot scientifically prove the following statement(s) but I deduct:
Chance of buyout to this point will have never been greater than upcoming 30-60 days--May/June 2010
Based on current economic conditions and valuations hypster.com is capable of receiving a buyout offer in excess of 25,000,000 +
A larger player both monetarily and exposure-wise would be able to take our 2,000,000 member entity to the stratosphere. End of year user count 2010 could look like (10-20 million) or by 2011 (30-50 million +) versus 2.5-5 million.
hypster.com represents extremely valuable demographics to advertisers. THINK future consumers for many, many decades to come.
We've lacked this EXPOSURE for a long time. Run-up to 2,000,000 is a great opportunity to introduce BUNM to more investors.
The company has left the PPS alone. Therefore it is up to us shareholders to get word out. Be proactive--I remember a couple Halloweens ago some of us shareholders here handed out trick-or-treat candy with hypster.com logos taped to candy. I remember some of the kids being surprised 'what is this?' It really caught their eye.
I personally think it would be marketing gold if CEO started marketing hypster.com T-shirts or using them as prizes when you refer friends to join hypster.com
I also think it would be a great PR gesture for CEO to provide T-shirt(s) for all shareholders of record.
EXPOSURE * EXPOSURE * EXPOSURE
Everyday we see stocks with no fundamentals go places PPS-wise because of the above.
IME it is only a matter of time before institutional players start placing their dollars here. It is also only a matter of time before material guidance is released officially or becomes evident.
I would love to see hypster.com emblazoned on every Little Caesars Pizza Box
This hasn't done enough volume over the last few years to cover costs. Nor do you have hard evidence that the co. is 'diluting.' Therefore your # 2 claim is moot.
FYI Updating iBox data daily All:
* www.hypster.com launched in June of 2007 with only 23,000 beta users
* By January of 2008, grew to 220,000 users
* June 2008, grew to 400,000 users
* As of April 8, 2009 1,000,000 users attained!!!
* As of May 2, 2010 hypster.com reached 1,922,250 users with 2,000,000 in-sight!
Saucer-with-Handle at work
Relative obscurity could reward us all in spades. Lots of room to grow both with respect to users and PPS.
Congratulations 'JeppyD' for your post (31,000)!!!
I think the 2,000,000 is the main thing to emphasize Leucro. You're welcome for the April 2009-2010 data points. Would you like me to unearth any earlier data points?
I'm not the CEO but this just in: hypster.com has added
nearly 60,000 new users April 2010!!!!!
April 1, 2010: 1,857,930
April 30, 2010: 1,917,166
(59,236)
1,917,166 getting there!
BUNM # 35 most-popular right now at IHUB
The past doesn't equal the present (cheechmoney)
Patience always pays--
1,914,697 and counting...
1,910,552 is our latest and greatest user count
FYI everyone just did some edits at top of Ibox--so we reflect attainment of 1.9 million + users
No one can predict Who? How Much? and When? a buyout offer will come. Certainly not even the CEO can predict the above. Therefore his focus has been to develop and improve the property for such an opportunity. CEO enjoys music obviously but He's not out to run a non-profit organization here.
The steady pay-day is generating more-income through advertising channels but the BIG PAYDAY is a buyout from a legitimate, aggressive player who wants an instant or increased foothold into a burgeoning digital music industry.
With run-up to 2,000,000 users one would reasonably expect that more queries are coming to CEO. In this process, some offers for buyout will be laughably low-ball and others more-compelling.
Based on experience with this co. I believe a strong buyout offer is not a matter of if but When.
Recent trading with arrival of healthier market conditions has been somewhat gratifying but I do not believe .0001-.0003 is any indicator of the true value here. Especially with a real prospect of a buyout offer ever-looming.
All due respect, fretting over buying .0003 versus .0002 could cost some investors real money with respect to the bigger picture. If you knew in the next 60-90 days a 50 million + buyout offer was put forth would you stand on the sidelines?
In event buyout offer is received and accepted--I see no advance warning from the co.
More eyes and new investors have arrived however this continues to be grossly undervalued. The growth curve for this property is exponential and I'm only speaking to the organic-growth curve.

Last year on this date (262,443 USERS March 5th 2008)!!! We are approaching 925,000 currently March 5th 2009)!!!! from old post
I will get you more data no later than tomorrow (4-26-2010)--
Looking back of some posts 'in the vault' I believe the FB connection has been around for a couple of years. With popularity of hypster.com perhaps FB has 'bumped up' prominence of link since so many hypster users frequent FB and vice versa.
The upcoming 2,000,000 milestone is a critical mass changing many dynamics here. I will try to find some old posts to shed some light on your question.
I probably have about 2-3 total years of data points. However I need to consolidate and locate some of info. Let me know what you're looking for. One final suggestion you could mine numbers from BUNM IHUB posts over last 3 1/2 years mentioning user count numbers.
Buy some local honey and take a teaspoon a day. The bees come in contact with your local pollens and it tends to diminish your symptoms.
I only want another 5,000,000 BUNM shares for the advice lol
Based on historical record--YES
Plug-in post # 24391
I think it's very interesting how CEO quelled any momentum back in November 23, 2009 with a PR basically stating 'we're still fully engaged but nothing big is happening behind the scenes. Personally I don't buy the latter but of course it is conjecture on my part.
I have kind of a left-field 'hunch' about the above secrecy but honestly why was the co. so quick to quell the rumors? At that time, banner ads for Google Music were appearing on the main page hypster.com Rather than a blatantly obvious connection to Google it demonstrated that the industry is growing more aware of hypster.com's digital music footprint.
PPS-wise we saw a curious spike in volume March 22nd 231,350,374 and now culminating in a full trading week ranging 795,373,550-139,133,386.
If the CEO wanted to move this PPS all He would have needed to do is inject a positive PR into the mix. This would have propelled us well-beyond .0005 and of course would have been a totally unexpected development. BUNM is an interesting contrast to companies that put out PRs every other day.
Based on the past, we should at least expect a PR in late May or early June officially announcing attainment of 2,000,000 users. The associated exposure run-up may be the catalyst for a buyout offer from a legitimate player(s). I stress may...
The wheel has no need to be reinvented here. Hyster.com works and its Web reach/impact is growing.
He better keep begging.
They sure love to follow the money. Healthy market conditions for BUNM
Someone really wants this back in the cellar
Interesting
Speaking of user base growth Jeppy D:
100 beta users March 2007
April 22, 2010 1.9 million +
19000% Growth during above time period!!!!!
Remind me---date of seizure?
Hey JeppyD google this:
News Corp Ventures Into Video Games With Small Acquisition. Seriously, a major or minor celebrity endorsement of hypster.com would be fabulous.
Hopefully I'm only off 20,000,000 lol
Exposure is ramping way up as 2,000,000 milestone nears
Minimum number of hypster.com users by end of 2010
2,350,000
The above projection is based on the current organic-growth model.
Glad You're hanging in for the ride Mac!
Social media is certainly 'going to matter' more and more as time goes on. Hence, the intrinsic and growing value of hypster.com
It seems on the eve of trading 4-19-2010 that shareholder sentiment is changing.
June 2010 will bring us the attainment of 2,000,000 users. We should expect a PR from the company at that time. Yes online music is indeed the future.
