Silverado Gold Mines announced today that it has begun exploration drilling on its Nolan property using the company's recently purchased diamond drill rig. The drilling focuses on an area North of Smith Creek: http://www.silverado.com/maps/060907overview.pdf, where company backhoe trenching previously identified three zones that contain gold-antimony bearing quartz vein systems (see press releases from July 16, 2007, January 29, 2007, January 22, 2007, July 16, 2007 and August 08, 2007). Drilling has begun on Zone 1: Figure 1: http://www.silverado.com/maps/060907fig1.pdf, where a continuous chip sample from Trench H, collected from a 16.4ft (5 m) interval by Silverado geologists, yielded 5.22 troy ounces per ton gold and 8.74% antimony (see press release August 08, 2007). The core drilling program is designed to check for down-dip continuity of the gold-antimony bearing quartz vein systems in the three zones identified so far, which are part of the Solomon Shear system, and will help company geologists to obtain a better understanding of the nature of the mineralized systems.
In June and July 2007, Silverado Gold Mines conducted backhoe trenching on its Nolan Creek property, totaling 328m (1076.12ft), to further investigate the gold-antimony bearing quartz vein systems (see press release July 16, 2007 and August 08, 2007). Part of this first trenching program was the excavation of Trench I, which is located 60m (197ft) northeast of Trench H: Figure 1: http://www.silverado.com/maps/060907fig1.pdf - and extending over 192.5m (631.6ft). This trench exposes the three zones that contain the gold-antimony bearing quartz vein systems. A total of 86 combined select chip and continuous chip rock samples were collected during the trenching program and submitted to ALS Chemex in Fairbanks for analysis. Significant gold values were found in Trench I with results as high as 0.23 troy ounces gold per ton (7.84 g/t Au). The antimony values reached as high as 48.07% (see Table 1). These high antimony values are consistent with the previous work in this vicinity where sampling showed antimony assays as high as 46% (see press release January 29, 2007). 16 samples shown as > 1% are still being quantitatively assayed for total antimony.
Thank you for update!
In turning coal to oil it can then be turned into plastic. The T- rex looks fun.
I have wrote to my senators here in Colorado. I do beleive that until we find a fuel other than a carbon based one that this is the best thing out there.
Coal to liquids meeting, Congressman Nick Rahall (D-WV), Chairman of the powerful House Natural Resources Committee and Congressman John Murtha, Chairman of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee also addressed the conference. Each Member of Congress focused on the need for energy independence for the United States, and the fact that the U.S. has the most abundant supply of coal in the world. they met with SLGLF staff along with the air forice GBRC and SLGLF are both in the race for a green fuel
Last week the Coal to Liquids Coalition held its first conference at the Glade Springs Resort in Daniels, West Virginia. Silverado Green Fuel Inc. sent representatives to the summit which was also attended by Members of Congress, energy industry leaders, union officials and representatives of the United States Air Force.
In an afternoon address to the group, Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) told the audience that "coal, clean coal, must be the solution to our energy needs. It is the only solution to our energy needs."
Congressman Nick Rahall (D-WV), Chairman of the powerful House Natural Resources Committee and Congressman John Murtha, Chairman of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee also addressed the conference. Each Member of Congress focused on the need for energy independence for the United States, and the fact that the U.S. has the most abundant supply of coal in the world.
"I am pleased to see these powerful Members of Congress stepping up to plate and supporting the need for Coal to Liquid technology in moving America toward energy independence. This is an area in which we have been working for some time now, and it is rewarding to be in good company," commented Silverado Green Fuel Inc. President, Garry Anselmo. "I am especially pleased that our representatives at the conference were able to talk with the attendees about our Hydrothermal Treatment Process, and the differences between Low Rank Coal Water Fuel and the processes used in gasifying bituminous coal. They were able to explain that although the Hydrothermal Treatment Process creates negligible amounts of carbon dioxide, it also allows for the immediate capture of the gas, therefore, no greenhouse gases are released into the atmosphere. This is significant as we move forward in our Mississippi project," Anselmo continued.
Other guests and speakers at the conference included the President of the United Mine Workers, Cecil Roberts who said, "ways to general coal to liquids...is the answer to solving our dependency on foreign oil - it's the answer to energy independence, it's also the answer to our national security, it's also the answer to addressing part of our mounting trade deficit and it's about creating thousands of jobs with good pay and good benefits."
The Silverado Mississippi Green Fuel Project continues to move forward as the state and Silverado are both actively involved in the permitting and planning stages. In a recent release, it was announced that Silverado had finalized an agreement with Pickering Engineering to produce the final architectural and engineering plans for the Green Fuel plant. Pickering has now started work on those plans. Silverado is completing the final documentation for the community development block grant, which will provide infrastructure funding at the Red Hills Ecoplex site.
AUGUST 16, 2007 - Fairbanks, Alaska - USA -
Silverado announced today that it has contracted with Pickering, Inc. of Jackson, Mississippi, to provide complete architectural and engineering plans for construction of Silverado's lignite water fuel (LWF) demonstration facility. The facility will be located on a 14-acre site already designated in the Red Hills Ecoplex outside Ackerman, MS.
"We're excited about this opportunity," said Pickering principal and senior project manager Thomas R. McConnell. "It's not every day that we design a coal-water fuel facility. When the demonstration plant is operational, we hope also to be involved when Silverado scales up to a full production facility."
Pickering will provide detailed architectural and engineering construction plans for the building, including electrical, mechanical and structural designs for the LWF production and boiler test facility. In addition to the demonstration plant, plans will be conceived and delivered for the laboratory center and offices, storage tanks and the coal loading facility. Pickering, under previous agreement, provided Silverado the conceptual design for the LWF facility and laboratory.
"We have been working with Pickering since the conception of this project and are delighted to take this next step with them," said Silverado Green Fuel president Garry Anselmo. "This will be the first plant in North America entirely dedicated to producing lignite water fuel as a petroleum fuel substitute, and this is the first step."
Silverado Gold Mines has discovered a new network of richly mineralized gold-antimony quartz vein structures at its wholly-owned Nolan Gold Mine in Alaska's Arctic Circle region.
A systematic program of backhoe trenching within the prolifically-mineralized, five-mile long Solomon Shear Zone has encountered plenty to get excited about. This includes a 16.4-foot (5 metre) continuous chip sample from Trench H, grading 5.22 ounces per ton (179 grams) of gold, and 8.74% antimony by ore assay.
Due to the exceptionally high content of gold assayed, a second sample was successfully re-assayed at the ALS Chemex Lab confirming these bonanza gold grades and impressive antimony values, runnning as high as 30%.
In addition to the high gold assay found in trench H, high antimony values were also found. Significant gold and antimony values were also found in the G and J trenches. (Please refer to the following Silverado's news release for more details: http://www.silverado.com/august082007/figure1.htm
In particular, the consistently high antimony values are favourably comparable with the previous work in this vicinity where sampling showed antimony assays as high as 46%.
To put this in dollar terms, rock containing 46% antimony would be worth about U.S. $2,300 per ton (at the current antimony price of $2.56/lb). By comparison, the same ton of rock would have to contain roughly 3.5 ounces of gold per ton (at $656/ounce) to be of the same monetary value.
I would not be able to even make a guess on that one.
tailings are a by product from what was part of ore being crushed it's a fine sand 8x finer than beech sand. so there is no need to crush it any more they run it through a float which is a tank of water being adjutated, the sands wii move to differnt levels in tank pine oil is added into water and gold and silver will attach to the oil and float over the top as bubbles then it is spun off in a turbo and by weight it will seperate into a concentrate, to be refined.
When I worked at the Climax mine in Colorado the prossesing plant was the final stage of the mill its where you use floation and turbos to spin off the metals into there deffernt weights and then they are dried and sent to refinery.

Silverado announces that backhoe trenching during the continued exploration of the five-mile long Solomon Shear zone on its Nolan Gold Mine located 280 miles North of Fairbanks, Alaska, has disclosed a 16.4 foot (5 m) continuous chip sample grading 5.22 ounces per ton (179 grams) gold, and 8.74% antimony by ore assay. Due to the exceptionally high content of gold assayed, a second sample was successfully re-assayed at the ALS Chemex Lab confirming this high value.
In addition to the high gold assay found in Trench H, high antimony values were also found. Significant gold values were found in all of H, G and J Trenches. The antimony values reached as high as 30%. These high antimony values are consistent with the previous work in this vicinity where sampling showed antimony assays as high as 46% (see press release January 29, 2007).
Solomon Shear is a highly mineralized gold-bearing system that extends over five miles on Silverado's Nolan property. It has been the focus of Silverado's extensive exploration program, which includes geophysical and geochemical surveys in addition to the trenching program. All of Silverado's "downstream" placer gold recoveries indicate likely sources higher in the Solomon Shear system. The company is just in the beginning stage of exploring these possible source areas.
Silverado Gold Mines is very pleased with these results and we continue to expand on our knowledge of this discovery. Old time miners and Silverado combined have removed more than 140,000 ounces of gold nuggets and dust from the lower benches of Smith Dome and below Solomon's Shear. Our 2006 trench and drill results confirmed the existence of high-grade gold-antimony-quartz veins in the Solomon Shear. Our highest assay reading from 2006 was 0.83 ounces per ton (see press release January 22, 2007). Now, we are encountering suspected source materials that have assayed considerably higher than those from 2006. This recently discovered high-grade area is under current exploration by further trenching and an extensive drilling program. This drilling, using our recently purchased diamond drill, will begin shortly and continue as long as weather permits.
It's yes for those who want a buy out @.55 cents and no for those that want it not to happen at the .55 cent level, some of us feel that this company is worth much more.

FAIRBANKS, AK, and VANCOUVER, July 16 /CNW/ -
Gold Recovery and Processing Operation
Over 670 ounces of nugget gold have already been recovered since the start of sluicing operations in late June of this year. These nuggets were pulled from the top two nugget traps alone of the wash plant and ranged in size from 1/10 ounce to 12.4 ounces per piece. Over 18,000 loose cubic yards of pay dirt (stockpiled from the past winter's mining of the Mary's East and Swede Channel) will be processed through the wash plant by the end of August, 2007. Total gold recoveries and related financial numbers will be released as available during the balance of the season.
Thank you.
SILVERADO GREEN FUEL INC. FEATURED IN
THE CHOCTAW PLAINDEALER
COUNTY MOVING FORWARD WITH SILVERADO AGREEMENT
BY LAURA SANDIFORD
Applying for a Capital Access Program (CAP) Loan will serve as the first major step taken by Choctaw County Supervisors to move forward with the agreement between the County and
Silverado Green Fuel.
After signing a memorandum-of-understanding in late December, the Board of Supervisors approved a motion to apply for a CAP Loan from the state that is not to exceed $1 Million. Silverado Green Fuel will repay the CAP Loan, an Alaskan based company, which will locate and operate a low rank coal-water fuel (LRCWF) demonstration commercial plant on approximately 14 acres in Choctaw County at the Red Hills Eco Plex.
In the agreement the County is responsible for building the outer shell of the facility and Silverado will provide the base foundation for the structure. The shell of the building may not
require the total $1 million, and the county will only request the amount it needs from the state once it is approved. As part of the agreement, Silverado Green Fuel will hire at least 45 employees and give precedence to Choctaw County applicants.
Silverado will create a demonstration facility with the objective of turning coal, mined by Red Hills Mine, into a stable liquid fuel. The LRCWF created through the process is said to be the answer to America's energy and oil crisis.
According to Garry L. Anselmo, President of Silverado Green Fuels, developing a useable alternative fuel product will lead to less dependence on crude oil.
The project entails expenditures of $26 million over a period of three years with Silverado Green Fuel Inc. (SGF) investing an initial $13.1 million in machinery and equipment upon completion of a facility.
The construction phase of the project is scheduled to take 24 months once it begins. The board approved the application process during a meeting on Monday, July 2. They anticipate
approval of the CAP Loan in approximately 60 days and will then move forward with building the structure.
The Company will make its first monthly lease payment to the county within 15 days of completing the CAP loan project, meaning that the County will not have to invest local funds into repaying the loan. Once the CAP loan debt service is satisfied, the County agrees to sell the facility to SGF for no more than $100 if the company wishes to purchase the facility.
can you get a price chart posted on this site I'm not sure how it's done.
The potential of this area could be 20 to 35 million tons of mineralized material. Assuming an average grade between 0.50 and 0.65% copper equivalent, this could add between 200 to 350 million pounds of copper to Aurelio’s resource inventory. That sounds like a lot of good copper and zinc.
GOLD RECOVERY STARTED AT NOLAN
July 16 , 2007 - Fairbanks , Alaska,USA
Vancouver, BC, Canada
SILVERADO - OTCBB: SLGLF / Frankfurt : SLGL / Berlin : SLGL
Placer Gold Exploration
During March and April, company drilling on the Nolan property discovered an entirely new zone of placer gold which has been named the Jack London bench. Additional drilling later this year will test the viability of actual open pit mining of this new bench. Further drilling was also conducted in an area between the Mary's East/Swede Channel Deposits and the Top Notch Prospect. Out of the 130 drill holes completed during this year's first-phase of placer exploration, 40% show the presence of gold, ranging from 0.001 to 0.055 troy ounces of gold per bank cubic yard. The company intends to do more placer drilling later this summer.
Lode Gold Exploration
Since May 2007, Silverado Gold Mines has been aggressively exploring for a lode gold and antimony deposit on its Nolan property using an extensive soil sampling and geophysical campaign. Over 420 soil samples have been sent to ALS Chemex in Fairbanks for analysis. The 229 samples analyzed to date show a distinct arsenic and antimony anomaly on the eastern part of the Solomon Shear trend. Arsenic anomalies are strong indicators for the presence of gold. The highest concentration of gold in these soil anomalies exists in the area north of Smith Creek where soils are much thinner than other parts of the Solomon's Shear Trend and therefore gold is more readily detectable. Here, Silverado Gold Mines undertook backhoe trenching in 2006 and discovered 16 antimony-quartz veins over a width of 192 feet. The highest gold result was 0.83 ounces gold per ton and the highest antimony assay was 46% (see press releases from January 22, 2007 and January 29, 2007). Silverado Exploration teams will continue with the soil sampling campaign until September.
Along with the soil sampling campaign, Silverado Gold Mines is conducting an extensive very low frequency - electromagnetic (VLF-EM) ground geophysical survey to identify structures such as shear zones, faults, and veins that occur within the bedrock. Geo-physical exploration with the VLF-EM survey will continue until September. The coincident soil and geophysical anomalies indicate the likely presence of gold antimony mineralization.
Trenching Programs
In addition to the above two surveys (VLF-EM and soil) Silverado recently conducted an extensive trenching program to complement the exploration trenching conducted in 2006. (see press releases from January 22, 2007 and January 29, 2007). During June and July, 2007 three backhoe trenches were excavated, totaling 290m (951.5ft), to further investigate the gold bearing antimony-quartz vein systems previously identified in 2006.
This year's trenching confirmed the north-eastward continuation of the three zones that contain antimony-gold-quartz veins identified in 2006. A total of 107 combined select chip and channel rock samples were collected during the trenching program and submitted to ALS Chemex in Fairbanks for analysis. Assays are pending.
A fourth trench, 38m (124.7ft) in length, was dug south of Smith Creek, in the old Workman's Bench pit, located within in the south-westward extension of the Solomon Shear trend. This trench exposed the largest antimony veins discovered in the area to date, with widths up to 24 cm (9.8 inch). A total of 15 channel rock samples were collected and submitted to ALS Chemex for analysis. Out of these 15 samples, 7 tested greater than the 1% upper detection limit for antimony and are now being quantitatively assayed for total antimony. In addition, five of these 15 samples show gold values ranging from 0.01 to 0.12 ounces of gold per ton.
Several potential drill targets in this area within the Solomon Shear trend have been identified by the gold, arsenic and antimony soil anomalies; the structural trends identified by the VLF-EM surveys; the results of backhoe trenching; and structural geological field mapping. Lode exploration drilling is scheduled to start in two weeks.
This press release was prepared by Dr. Karsten Eden, Certified Professional Geologist; who is a qualified person as defined under the standards of Canadian National Instrument policy 43-101.
I was thinking that this one should be a good one for a buy out. It sure is draging along.
Establishing a goal of producing at least 300,000 barrels of high-grade fuel per day by 2015 using CTL technology is a feasible target. This is equivalent to the amount of transportation fuel consumed daily by the U.S. military for domestic operations. In fact, military and commercial aviation are promising early markets. The Department of Defense is already studying the advantages of CTL fuels to serve our armed forces on the ground and in the air.
For these reasons, CTL fuels are among the most practical, promising answers to greater energy security for the United States.
The total amount of nickel in aboveground storage right now would satisfy the world's industrial demand for no more than a few weeks, meaning that tomorrow's demand will have to be satisfied by today's production and that changes in the quantity of newly-mined nickel will have a very strong influence on the market's supply/demand balance. In there core samples they have found good quanities of nickel.

UNITED STATES SENATE TAKES ACTION ON COAL TO LIQUIDS AMENDMENTS
JUNE 21 , 2007 - VANCOUVER, BC - MISSISSIPPI, USA
SILVERADO - OTCBB: SLGLF / Frankfurt: SLGL / Berlin: SLGL
Tuesday, June 19, the United States Senate voted on two separate Coal-to-Liquid amendments to the Senate version of the Clean Energy Act of 2007. The amendments were offered by Senator Jim Bunning (R-KY) and Senator Jon Tester (D-MT).
The Bunning amendment was designed to reduce our Nation's dependency on foreign oil by investing in clean, renewable, and alternative energy resources, promoting new emerging energy technologies, developing greater efficiency, and creating a Strategic Energy Efficiency and Renewables Reserve to invest in alternative energy. Likewise, the Tester amendment supported coal-to-liquid technology and also addressed America's dependency on foreign oil by investing in clean, renewable, and alternative energy resources, promoting new emerging energy technologies, developing greater efficiency, and creating a Strategic Energy Efficiency and Renewables Reserve to invest in alternative energy.
The two amendments failed to pass the Senate by a vote of 39 to 55 and 33 to 61 respectively. "On the surface, this may seem like a blow to the coal-to-liquids technology and industry," commented Silverado Green Fuel Inc. CEO Garry L. Anselmo. "While we would have preferred the Senate to deal with the issue during the debate on the Clean Energy Act of 2007, our Capitol Hill sources have told us that the leadership in both the Senate and House do not want to bring up the coal-to-liquids issue as an attachment to the legislation. Several Congressmen and Senators have assured the American public that the issue of coal-to-liquids will be brought up as a separate issue and receive the full and fair debate it deserves."
As an assurance to those supporters of the Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel project, Anselmo continued, "We are actually encouraged by the two votes that took place in the Senate yesterday. First, if you look carefully at which Senators voted for or against each amendment, you will see that overall, a healthy majority (69 Senators) cast their vote FOR one or the other amendments. That means that 69 out of 100 members of the United States Senate actually voted in favor of the coal-to-liquids technology! The second encouraging fact is that the Hydrothermal Treatment process we use on sub-bituminous coal and lignite is different than the processes used on bituminous coal. Our process does not require the tremendous capital investment needed for the gasification process, the Shift-gas reaction, and the Fischer-Tropsch reactions. Hydrothermal Treatment is a much simpler and less capital intensive process to create a non-hazardous, environmentally friendly oil substitute for use in oil fired systems. It converts a dusty, solid fuel that is prone to spontaneous combustion into a safe, non-hazardous, low-cost liquid fuel for commercial, industrial, and utility boilers. It is a very suitable feedstock for gasification using General Electric technology to produce synthesis gas, the start point for the Fischer Tropsch production of clean burning synthetic transportation fuel. We continue to work with both Congress and the Federal Agencies as we move forward with our Mississippi LRCWF project. We are involved in ongoing meetings with the Mississippi architects and engineers as well as the political interests who have been supporting this project."
In a related development, a recent 3rd party article published by Small Cap Media contained some inaccuracies regarding the current status of the Mississippi Green Fuel Project. "Unfortunately, statements were made that indicated we had already received government funding and other forward-looking comments were also made," said Mr. Anselmo. He continued, "A corrected version of the article has been released and is now available on our website. ( http://www.silveradogreenfuel.com/smallcapmedia/greenfuel.pdf ) We apologize for any miscommunication and continue to move forward with the project in Mississippi. We also are looking toward beginning construction of the new facility in Mississippi."

Gold has been rising for over six years and it's gained 158% since then. That works out to 26% per annum, which has consistently been better than most other markets. The recent weakness is a bump in the road and it's not unusual. We continue to believe that gold will likely rise for years to come, eventually reaching at least $2,000 and it'll probably go even higher
“CTL fuels can do all of this and they can do it cleanly. A recent study conducted by the Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory (INL) documents the environmental profile of CTL fuels that will be produced at a CTL plant being built in Wellsville, Ohio, by CTLC member Baard Energy, L.L.C. The study conclusively shows that the advanced technology Baard will use to produce CTL fuels will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by almost half compared to those of conventional diesel fuel, while emitting substantially less regulated pollutants than low-sulfur diesel.
“The energy producers, consumers and labor unions that compromise the Coal-to-Liquids Coalition urge the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and all members of the Senate to put America on a path to true energy dependence powered by CTL fuels.”
Geoff Davis, R-Ky., thinks he has found that customer — the U.S. Air Force.
A Davis amendment to the 2008 Defense Authorization Act would give the Air Force $10 million to accelerate testing of jet fuel made from coal.
In 2006, the service tested a liquid fuel made from natural gas and ultimately flew a B-52 bomber on a blend of standard jet fuel and the synthetic liquid.
The Air Force plans to begin testing the fuel soon in a C-17 cargo plane, a service spokeswoman said.
The same process used to make liquid fuel from natural gas can be used to make liquid fuel from coal.
Davis hopes that once the Air Force adopts coal-based jet fuel, so will commercial airlines. The potential benefits are broader than just more jobs and increased income for his home state.
“Kentucky has the unique opportunity to be part of the solution to our nation’s energy crisis by turning coal into liquid fuel,” the congressman said.
The Air Force may be essential to Kentucky’s success.
Department of Defense scientists have examined Silverado green fuel inc. hydrothermal treatment process used in creating Green Fuel and commented that they are impressed with both the technology and the possibility of using this alternative energy as a raw feedstock for the production of synthetic fuels. The Low-Rank Coal-Water Fuel (or Green Fuel) produced by Silverado’s Hydrothermal Treatment Process has been identified as a good feedstock for gasification and follow-on Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis to supply clean synthetic fuels.
Silverado’s green fuel can be used for electricity generation or industrial heat. There are hundreds of commercial, industrial and utility oil-designed boilers in use in America today which, with minor adaptations to their feeder components and addition of particulate capture devices, may enjoy Silverado’s Green Fuel, made from America’s abundant reserves of low rank coal. In addition to the above uses, Green Fuel can be used as a feedstock for advanced high-pressure gasifiers like the one developed by Texaco and now marketed by GE as part of their integrated gasification combined cycle Clean Power package. Following gasification the synthesis gas can be used for power generation or reassembled into new petrochemicals such as aviation fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, hydrogen for fuel cells, plastics, fertilizers, explosives, urea, ammonia, CO2 for enhanced recovery in oil well production, all free of sulfur, heavy metals and particulate matter.

Despite opposition from some environmental groups, according to the Times , congressional Democrats would like to pass this subsidy bill by mid-July. This would be a major boost for a host of coal-mining firms and companies that manufacture CTL-related equipment And there are already signs of movement on the CTL front. Peabody Energy is the largest coal-mining firm in the US and has been the most aggressive in promoting and investing in CTL. The company recently announced a plan to pledge 1 million short tons per year of coal and a $10 million investment in an Illinois CTL plant. Peabody has also been among the most-vocal firms in lobbying Congress for CTL subsidy legislation.
The FT process is a closed reaction; that makes it easier to remove some pollutants, such as sulphur and mercury, from the coal during the process of converting it into fuel. Therefore, CTL fuels are cleaner in terms of sulphur-dioxide emissions than burning coal in a plant and, in many cases, even cleaner than conventionally produced fuel.

Corporate Overview
As an emerging gold mining company, Silverado Gold Mines Ltd.'s bottom line is as sensitive to surging oil prices as any other energy-dependent producer of mineral resources. Likewise for the rest of the world's industrial infrastructure, which is also beholden to global oil oligopolies, better known as cartels.
However, whereas this energy supply squeeze spells trouble for most, Silverado (www.silveradogreenfuel.com) amazingly sees nothing but a big 'blue sky' of unprecedented opportunities. That's because this enterprising company has taken the extraordinary landmark step of remedying the problem at its very source.

Silverado Gold Mines Ramps Up Its Placer Gold Production and Now Believes It has the Prolific 'Mother Lode' Source Within its Reach
By Marc Davis, Managing Editor - SMALLCAP MEDIA
June, 2007
Corporate Overview
Silverado Gold Mines Inc. is a diversified natural resources company that is riding the crest of two major trends - one involving a sustained bull market for gold prices and the other being the imperative to develop innovative new forms of inexpensive 'green energy.'
All told, Silverado (www.silverado.com) has spent about a quarter of a century developing prospectively world-class gold projects in mineral-rich Alaska - home to some of North America's most prolific gold mines and developmental stage gold deposits.
Moreover, Silverado's progress has thus far been quite lucrative. In fact, while hunting for major 'lode' deposits, the Company has carved a profitable business niche for itself in the placer gold mining business. And all of this placer gold is known to have originated from nearby buried concentrations of gold that represent the ultimate prize or 'mother lode.' Specifically, the placer gold has leached out of rich proximal gold vein/shear structures into river drainage systems, where over the millennia it has become part of ancient gravel beds.

Now to today Gold situation:
Look for a fundamental reason for the decline in gold and there simply is none. Yes, traders are focusing on rates but in the 70s rates went to 14 7/8% on ten-year money as gold rose to more than $700. Dan is correct in what he says, but that is trading.
The reason for lower prices in gold is that that all black boxes are made up of moving averages as momentum and various types of regression tools. They all go the same way, differencing them only by which black box moves first. This creates an all pile on psychosis in the up as well as the downs.
The crowd is driven as always by FEAR and GREED so the black boxes today rule the crowd. The crowd is totally driven by moving averages and regression formulas as determined by the black boxes. The difference is that the black box moves ahead of the crowd. As a result the crowd is the profit formula as their pockets are always picked by the market, now only more effectively. The black box turns before the crowd.
There are significant illegal activities in the markets today that no one seems to care about. Naked short selling via misuse of the computer based clearing system is the most prevalent. This is just another sign of Authoritarian Free Enterprise in action.
Games are played daily by third market closes that have little to do with reality. There are so many abuses of law that this is a story in itself. The referees of authoritarian free enterprise simply turn their faces away from the crimes that enrich the authoritarians.
The Internet chat rooms seem to be inhabited by the most unregulated people whose lies and slander pour vehemently out of their laptops hundreds of times daily as they try to operate to profit. This misused tool seems to be fading in its influence as more people read through the vulgarity and recognize nefarious true motives.
So here we are in the midst of the madness where electronics is the root cause of the present mass panic. The market is looking for reasons (of which there are none) and has its eyes on the US dollar and the bond market. There is support today approached in the long bond. The US dollar is not setting records. In the short term the US dollar and the bond market will be the determinant of gold’s action. Later in the summer and early in the fall this will all be behind us.
Black boxes extend trends but do not make them. Black boxes did not make the 27-year bull market in bonds but may well have extended it. It is the same for all the items of our interest.
The root causes are best expressed in the following illustrations:
Gold is going to $761, $887.50, $1000 and $1650 regardless that almost to a personality all the top callers are out of the dens again telling us how accurate they have been, many of them seeking your paid subscription. Again they are hurting your interest as they present their genius to you.
