As I see it, the others are still trying to figure that they are agricultural companies first, marketing firms second, and logistics companies third.
It ain’t rocket science. It’s grow good quality, let the world know what you got, and having it in the distribution centers.
Excellent analysis. I agree that Tru has a built in advantage, but they always have, they’re the only big company founded by nurserymen. They understand grow.
The rest is logistics.
Hopefully the SAFE Act gets incorporated into that legislation. Make it so large it has something for everybody pretty much. Set a federal excise tax, limit state tax overrides that exceed a set limit, have rebates from the excise tax go back to states that actually show racial justice advances in marijuana reform, and set federal lab standards for testing.
The big four, plus the growing seven dwarfs, would see their market cap explode.
Funman, say what?
Tru has 1,960,000 sf of grow online today with another 337,000sf coming online first quarter 21.
Plans for future expansion will take them to almost double that by the end of 23.
Their focus is Florida domination when it goes rec, and pick up GA and the gulf coast to LA.
And they haven’t missed yet.
It’s filling nicely right around 40. To go to 35 will require the market to collapse another 1200 points, which I don’t think is in the cards.
Fun day. Last dip. Up a dime. Yearly report mid Feb. in a pandemic opened thirty dispensaries and will bring another 337,000 sf of grow online next month
I love unicorns

Fabulous. As a long time animal lover, I really like this.
If it goes into the mid fives I’m all over it. Lots of choices today, good time to keep your powder dry.
Drops another three bucks and I’m going in big time
Market cap is only $160-million. That makes them a target
No disrespect to the poster. Thank you.
But this is the lamest reason I’ve ever seen for buying a stock.
Oh well
Onward
So now we own Smoke Cartel, my favorite pipe place.
Interesting.
Nice volume on the upside.
Word on the Street is this baby may be in play.
Watch closely this week
Roughly five billion
Tru reminds me of the old baseball team in Cincinnati decades ago called The Big Red Machine, they always found a way to win and just kept doing it for years.
The fourth quarter and fiscal year numbers will be out in mid February. Expect a blowout.
Totally agree. Y’all have a great weekend.
Blume owns One Plant. Marginal dispensary footprint and their flower is second rate. The Chicago boys have some serious investments to make if they are going to have an imprint here.
It makes most frat parties seem lame. Seriously.
Absolutely. They constitute about 18% of my little personal EFT. I like their wholesale model.
I think they mean $70 US. Fourth quarter numbers are going to be an eye opener.
I can see why Kim would favor that. Three million sf of grow will be on line this year. Scary thought how big they are becoming at the pure agricultural part of the business.
Onward.
You are missing the point about Cresco in FL. Seed to sale. No wholesaling.
My experience is that wholesalers don’t make it in a retail environment where production is all on their shoulders.
To get to that level Cresco is going to have to dump a to. Of money into a market controlled by much bigger players.
Time will tell, true. But usually it doesn’t end well.
Extremely commendable.
I never knock employees. I only question management’s ability to operate a business. With Cresco, it’s their ability to be profitable in a state where their presence is very minor, and very much subject to the price setting power of their competitors.
I’ve seen this play before. Generally it doesn’t work well.
Well, Florida isn’t Alaska. Grow here is probably the best outside Mendocino County in the US.
Good Indicas run at 25+ THC and Sativas aren’t that far behind. Getting that kind of juice requires an attention to grow detail that most are unable to reach. Tru does it as a matter of course.
And remember Trulieve was founded by two outstanding nursery owners who had over 40 years experience in greenhouse growing. No other Cannabis company in the country has that kind of initial experience.
I like Cresco. I have a bunch of their stock, but Florida is a different creature. Flower rules here. That’s what Floridians want first. No flower, no clients.
Nothing, and everything. Try it some time.
You’ll appreciate what it takes.
My understanding is that Ruskin is low grade, and mostly for oils.
In Florida, flower rules.
This is hysterical. Florida is already owned by one company and everyone else is fighting over the leftovers.
I agree they will do ok, but competing in Florida is going to be a huge cash drain. They have purchased just 54,000 sf of grow. A dispensary running strong consumes 10,000 sf of grow. They have seven dispensaries with this deal. To compete they need at least 24,000 sf immediately, and triple that to even be close to LHS with 300,000. Tru at over 2,000,000 sf is a monster.
Two problems.
One is One Plant is woefully short of grow space and has constant stockouts
Two is a very limited dispensary profile, and serious cash flow difficulties.
And Florida is dominated by the Queen shark, who has no problem killing you on pricing.
I like their approach and the Platinum Vape acquisition was a master stroke. Two bucks by the end of February
Let’s take Jushi on it’s board. I firmly believe they are another Trulieve, just 18months behind Tru’s curve.
Time will tell, but their management team is top drawer as well.
This truly is an amazing group. And Trulieve will probably be over $50/share by tomorrow.
So what we have is unicorn squared
In response to everybody, and a huge kudos to Funman for being our always ace-in-the-hole.
I learned a longtime ago never to act on my panic attacks.
Unicorn.
Onward.
Thank you. It’s good to be the King.
Lol
Happy is a wet spot.
Wonderful day today. My unicorn is golden. This is going to be a fun year. Biggest daily increase I’ve had since Apple hit it in 2017.
I love a good excuse to get higher than a kite.
Onward.
90-million shares. Subtract their share deals and you still can’t get to 75.
Here’s the problem. Those numbers don’t match. Not anywhere. Somethings not right.
Then they could just announce that their greedy super shares are being converted. This sounds like a listing of new shares. If that’s the case this baby goes to 28 bucks a share.
In whose league, pray tell?
