Do we have anyone on this board that could find out if 12snap is demonstrating PC at the 3GSM?
SS9173
Clawmann, exactly...and my post minutes ago surmises some possibilities that I foresee could take place in the coming weeks / quarter period.

Inforit1, Neom couldn't sign big deals during the QP because if they did they would have to announce them immediately as it would be material news. IMO, they have had discussions with Microsoft, Google, Gavitec, 12snap and others in regards to the Paperclick business. It is perfectly legal for them to have these types of discussions / negotiations without publicly disclosing them as long as the deals were not finalized. If they are close to signing either LOI's, licensing, or partnering agreements through discussions that have been taking place in recent months, then I would predict those will happen shortly. Let's give it 60 days from the time the BSDS and Mobot mergers are officially completed to see what materializes.
Let's also watch how Mobot gets integrated into Neom. I really believe Mobot will help get licensing deals for PC through its long list of partnerships. When these revenue producing deals occur, we should see a positive effect on the pps...my prediction: an increase from today's pps up to a maximum of 75 cents.
In addition, see my post from last night regarding my thoughts on the need for a licensing or partnering agreement with a "Big Gorilla" in order for Neom to realize its goal of becoming a Mobile Marketing SuperCompany. I really believe we need this type of announcement before the pps will exceed 75 cents.

Success622, I would guess that they just registered since they were an exhibitor at the CTIA in San Francisco last fall while the quiet period was in effect. Make sense?

SS9173
Success622, good to see that Neom will be at CTIA. I had checked to see if they were exhibiting just before lunch today, and they weren't on the list. They must have just registered. I had thought with the Mobot acquistion that perhaps they would have shared the same booth.

Can someone translate a summary of the significant messages of this Mobedia pdf (it's italian)? Thanks in advance.

I still believe it will require a licensing or partnering agreement with one of the "Big Gorillas" for Neom to realize its goal of becoming a Mobile Marketing SuperCompany.
I find it interesting that Rick Szatkowski - VP, Business Development, NeoMedia Tech., Inc. and S. Murray Gaylord - Vice President Brand Marketing, Yahoo will be participating together at the eMarketing Association panel on April 25. Hopefully the two of them will hit it off well at the event leading to a future licensing or partnering agreement.
In fact, I have thought for quite awhile now that perhaps Yahoo would beat out Mr. Softee and Google as the first major search firm to license PC. Just look at the Yahoo connections in our Go Window list:
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=9200237
Yahoo would also make a great partner:
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?Message_id=9149996&txt2find=yahoo
Regardless, I think there is potential for a lot of exciting developments to occur starting next week with the 3GSM in Barcelona, then CTIA during early April, and this eMarketing Conference on April 25-26, 2006.
I wouldn't be surprised for Neom to announce another M&A to include either Gavitec (there was a lot of discussion about them at the shareholders meeting - see Hangdog's post http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=8980524 ) or 12snap (a natural due to Martin Copus' prior employer - see Koko's post http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?Message_id=6079453&txt2find=12snap ).
12snap really intrigues me because both Vodafone and Nokia helped fund them (see ifitlooks post http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?Message_id=7146101&txt2find=12snap) and they have done some ad campaigns with some of the biggest brand names such as McDonalds, Coca-Cola and Adidas (see my post http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?Message_id=8312971&txt2find=12snap ).
In any case, I just hope a Big Gorilla of some type helps Neom realize their goal of becoming that Mobile Marketing Supercompany. As I previously stated, Yahoo would be a great partner...but, I am not picky...I will take any of the ones listed in my prior post: http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?Message_id=7876550&txt2find=yahoo.

Replying to my Verizon DD post...Hmmmmm...wonder if a certain poster who works for Verizon knows anything about this:
"In a major statement about the future of the cellphone as an advertising medium, he said that Verizon Wireless, the nation’s No. 2 carrier with 51.3 million subscribers at the end of 2005, is testing a program to open up its phones to advertising through a two-tier payment model. "
I know he can't say...
Also, more globally: $25 to $30 billion of the overall advertising budgets are headed for the mobile screen. PC / Mobot will hopefully be part of that action.

DD VERIZON WIRELESS CMO ADMONISHES AGENCIES John Stratton Warns 'Money Will Be in Motion' as Marketers Embrace New Media
http://www.adage.com/news.cms?newsId=47828
February 08, 2006
By Alice Z. Cuneo
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AdAge.com) -- Madison Avenue needs to figure out emerging media -- fast -- or lose billions of dollars to someone who will, warned one of the nation’s top marketing executives today.
Madison & Vine event
“Major money is going to be in motion in the next decade and yet no one really understands exactly where it will land, or even if it will land, or just disappear altogether,” John Stratton, VP-chief marketing officer at Verizon Wireless, said in a stirring address to 400 marketing, media and content producers at Advertising Age’s Madison & Vine Conference at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Mr. Stratton, who controls a budget of more than $2 billion, exhorted agencies to take action: “Your clients are in trouble. They are looking to you to save them.” He said the ad inventory that has been sold for the last 50 years “no longer works,” and marketers “have started to figure that out.” In the process, “your clients will fire, hire, fire, and hire agency after agency ... seeking someone –- anyone! -- who can help them perhaps on where to go next.”
'I'm not perfectly happy'
Verizon Wireless is among those seeking solutions. “Last year I spent well over a billion dollars buying space, time, air, hits and clicks across a multitude of mediums,” Mr. Stratton said. “So if you’ve been selling me this stuff, you probably need to know that I’m not perfectly happy. And I’m not alone.”
Marketing executives, too, are at risk, and the average tenure of CMOs is likely to get even briefer as chief executives recognize “how much money they are blowing on antiquated media plans. So even if your CEO really loves you -- if he goes down, you’re going with him,” he cautioned.
What marketers are looking for is an audience, but today’s audiences are more sophisticated at avoiding ad messages. “So, they need more than an audience. They need an audience that cares about what they have to say. They need their message to be relevant to the audience they are saying it to.”
Move to blank sheet
Mr. Stratton said media and advertising agencies have been dabbling in new media, but now it’s time to jump in with both feet. “We’ve been playing a game of incrementalism, in which we throw a few points of our [ad spending] at a variety of emerging channels, seeking to gain some insight into what will work and what won’t, but all the while maintaining the vast majority of our spend on the foundational mass media plan that has carried advertisers for 30 years. My view is that, increasingly, large advertisers are going to scrap that approach in favor of a far more aggressive one,” he said. “Having sampled and tested a wide array of new and different delivery platforms, advertisers, I believe, are going to move to a ‘blank sheet’ approach, building the whole of their media mix from the ground up.”
And Mr. Stratton predicted that as much as 25% to 30% of the $100 billion spent each year on brand advertising will find its way onto the mobile screen.
In a major statement about the future of the cellphone as an advertising medium, he said that Verizon Wireless, the nation’s No. 2 carrier with 51.3 million subscribers at the end of 2005, is testing a program to open up its phones to advertising through a two-tier payment model. Currently, advertising has been limited on the cellphone primarily to text messaging and short code promotions.
But the emergence of cellphone video capabilities has led marketers to take a closer look at the medium. Most of the video now available comes in a video-on-demand format with advertising limited at most to bumper ads. Live TV shows running on the cellphone contained the same ads as those running on the TV.
Need to show consumers why
“Customers we’ve seen are willing to accept advertising, but we believe we need to show them why,” said Mr. Stratton. “There should be some economic reason why” subscribers would opt in for ads, he said. He said, by way of example, that Verizon Wireless charges customers one fee for its VCast service -- which provides TV-quality video for cellphones -- without advertising, and a lower fee for those willing to accept ads “as long as it doesn’t go over a certain threshold.” VCast costs an additional $15 a month, depending on the plan. He did not indicate how much the ad-subsidized version would cost.
Ads would be able to tap a carrier’s profiles based on demographics, geographic location and content consumption, he said, but “ad delivery cannot be personal. It needs to respect the privacy of the individual while connecting them in a more meaningful way with the message we send.”
He said the ad model for mobile is yet to be built. But Mr. Stratton said the supply of ads will be limited by the threshold of minutes available for sale. “The demand, given the billions of dollars being thrown at ever-shrinking mass-market advertising, would seem to be immense.”
As for content, he said Verizon Wireless’ studies found that live TV is the most compelling. “The ability to watch the game or follow breaking news live, anytime, anywhere -- that’s powerful stuff. And customers tell us they’re willing to pay for it.”
New canvas needed
Content-to-go, such as clips of news or sports highlights, is used as a means of filling time. But he cautioned both marketers and content providers to view the so-called mobile third screen not as a place to “cut and paste” repurposed TV spots or content, but rather as a fresh canvas in which to build new ways of reaching people with a powerful personal media.
“The desire for quality short-form entertainment brings, I believe, our first chance to create something of great value over wireless broadband networks for those of you coming at this from Vine,” he said. “This means creating content that is uniquely built for this medium.” He cautioned against “simply exporting a dying model to another medium, destroying the chance to build value for advertiser and audience alike.”
As an example of a new approach, Mr. Stratton said Verizon Wireless will soon announce a partnership with Warner Bros. and Fox Network for an animated short exclusively for VCast based on a comic strip created by Seth, one of the characters in the hit Fox drama “The O.C.”

This sure does sound like a truly forward looking statement:
NeoMedia's plan is to become a mobile marketing supercompany," Mr. Jensen said. "In the coming months and years, as cellular technology matures as the newest and most exciting advertising and marketing medium, NeoMedia plans to provide a range of solutions, including products and applications offered by Mobot, to stimulate the global growth and acceptance of mobile marketing."
SS9173
Great news on Mobot! You would have to believe the QP is over...and it was "very, very soon" as I previously predicted.
Also, it appears to me that Martin Copus is being groomed for Chuck Jensen's job when he retires some day...very wise succession planning IMO.
From the press release: "Mobot will continue to be headquartered in the Boston suburb of Lexington, and its founder Russell Gocht will remain CEO, reporting to Martin Copus, NeoMedia's COO and chief executive of NeoMedia's PaperClick(R) (www.PaperClick.com) wireless business unit."
SS9173
Chartist1, first of all I do enjoy your posts as well as your charts. I know some T.A. folks, like the infamous Gary B. Smith of Fox TV and RealMoney.com, will totally ignore the fundamentals and go strictly on the basis of the charts. He like yourself, preaches exactly the same, only buy on breakouts above support levels...and do not ever average down without a breakout occuring first. And, I have made a good share of money over the past several years following that approach...but not big money.
Now, there have been a few stocks including Neom that have been shining examples, at least for me, where averaging down has paid off big time. My first experience was with what was then an OTCC-BB stock named Ediets.com. I did a lot of DD on Ediets and was convinced that it had huge potential to successfully compete with Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig. The stock fell to under a buck but I kept buying huge amounts because I believed in its potential. Well a couple of years later Ediets went to the Nasdaq and shortly thereafter I sold it all for $7.00/share...huge profits resulted.
I followed the same strategy with the two satellite radio stocks - XMSR and SIRI. Again, it was the DD and my strong belief that satellite radio would change broadcasting forever. In both cases, I averaged down from my original purchase price. I bought huge amounts of stock of both companies when the share price was low, and sold both a couple years later again with huge profits.
Ok, so now I learn of NEOM through TS during February 2004. My first purchase was only $10,000 worth at 15 cents a share. Some months later I found this board, lurked for awhile, and started posting during August 2004. Again, NEOM is one of those story stocks that I truly believe in its potential to change mobile marketing forever. So when NEOM fell to 6 cents per share, I bought a boat load. Today I own over 1.5 million shares that are worth more than 2X my cost basis.
So to summarize, when I just want to follow a pure trading strategy - playing momentum stocks - I follow your advice to a "T" - only buying on breakouts.
But, for stocks that can literally change commerce significantly in the space they play in, I do as much DD as possible and average down every chance I get. I suppose one day I will get burned following this approach. Maybe I have been lucky...I don't know. I would like to think my success is due to something that I believe Banks uses as his motto: "The future belongs to those who see possibilities before they become obvious." For those situations, I contend averaging down is OK.
JMHO with some experience to back it up.

DD A must read from the PP: When will the Physical World Connection Get Adopted?

When Will The Physical World Connection Get Adopted?
I have been asked a number of times when will the physical world connection (PWC) take place and what is taking so long for adoption.
The PWC is when a mobile phone (or other computing device) is able to scan/read a machine readable identifier and link the object to the Internet. The most visible application is scanning a barcode with a camera phone and comparing prices.
I don’t think many realize what a monumental task this really is.
However, it is said the longer it takes an emerging technology to get adopted, the bigger impact it usually has. I think connecting the physical world with the Internet will create endless and enormous opportunities, and not just using a cell phone.
There are 3 basic obstacles this technology faces. (the camera lens, handset capablility, and service provider)
The first issue, and probably the biggest, is the lens on the camera phone. Have you ever tried to take a picture with your camera, close up? Zooming in doesn’t make any difference either. This issue should be resolved soon.
Let’s assume the lens isn’t an issue.
The second obstacle the PWC faces is the handset. A PWC application has to be designed/programmed to work on the endless number of handsets. If you look at some of the PWC company websites , pay attention to what and how many phones, the application is available for. The handset availability is pretty limited. This isn’t a simple program that every phone can download, it has to be programmed to meet EACH handset specifications.
Remember, the handset guys (Nokia, Samsung etc) don’t have a vested interest in adopting this application. There is no incentive for them, yet.
Ok we have a handset that has the PWC and our lens can read a machine-readable identifier, are we ready now? No.
The final obstacle is the network itself. The wireless/mobile Internet isn’t like the PC Web. Every PC with a modem can surf the Web. With the mobile Web, each provider (Sprint, Verizon etc) has their own restrictions. (that’s something that can be resolved easily).
Getting the PWC launched, would be the equivalent of designing a program for every different type of PC, and configuring it to meet every Internet service provider specifications. Oh, and then having people download it to their PC.
The good news? If you resolve JUST ONE of these obstacles, the other two get resolved too. Resolving the “ONE”, will require some creativity and vision. Do you know which one?
There are 2 ways the PWC will get adopted.
First, there will be an application that is in such great demand that users will either download it themselves, or put enough pressure on the wireless carriers to implement. I have some ideas on how to do this.
The other way is to show the service providers how they stand to benefit (increased ARPU) from this exciting technology.
There are basically 2 types of physical world hyperlinks (PWH) available today.
The first and the easiest to use is the 2d code. Look at any Fedex package or a bank statement you will see one. They look like box with a bunch of dots and bars. They are usually used in a closed network and provide info only to the company issuing the code. A Fedex guy can’t use his scanner to scan a UPS box and get the desired info. It’s a valuable tool, but only to the users in the network.
The Fedex guy was probably the first physical world connector on a massive scale.
The most common PWH is probably the barcode. There are 3 billion unique barcodes out there. A Coke Classic 12 oz can has just one, but how many of those cans are out there? See how many potential hyperlinks can be used?
Ok we resolved all of those issues, now what?
CONTENT
What will be delivered when you click on a PWH? Did you ever think about that? Everyone assumes it will be used for price comparison, because it is the only application that gets the press. I can think of dozens of applications that could offered just by clicking on a Jimmy Buffet CD. What would you like to see?
There are two mindsets to consider when delivering content. Do you know who they are?
There are a couple ways to get a service provider to adopt the PWC and there are thousands of applications that can be used with a PWH, …… all it takes is some Visionary Innovation.

GONEOM, I honestly don't know if the SEC will do an accelerated approval process. What I do know is the changes to both the S3 and S4 were very minor. I believe the announcement of the Mobot LOI while the BSDS merger was in process was, in hindsight, a big mistake by Neom. The SEC asked a lot of questions as a result of that announcement. Subsequently, Neom had to amend the filings to include audited results of Mobot financials along with BSDS and their own financials. All that has been completed in these last SEC filing amendments. Therefore, I believe the SEC will now approve both the S3 and S4. Assuming I am right about all this (and again it's all JMHO), worst case scenario for end of QP is a matter of 2 to 3 weeks. But because the changes were very minor, I am hopeful that it will be approved very, very soon.
SS9173
I bought another 25,000 shares at 38 cents. The QP will be ending very, very soon IMO. In the interim, the pps may continue to drift lower to some degree. But because I believe the ending of the QP is imminent, I didn't want to take a change of missing the positive action that will result following the closure of BSDS. I believe Mobot will close within 30 days of the BSDS merger. Shortly thereafter, some other M&A will be announced - it will be one of the mobile marketing companies on the pie chart located in the board header. Once Mobot is closed, I don't believe this stock will go below 50 cents ever again. JMHO.

TS subscriber update tonight only mentioned the new patent news.
FWIW, I have decided to not renew my subscription to either the regular Changewave newsletter or the microcap newsletter. I don't like the fact that many of his microcap picks can be determined through simple Google searching.
Now let me say I have made many, many times my newsletter cost through investing in TS satellite radio picks as well as Neom so I have no regrets for subscribing to his newsletters up to this point. However, I believe in Neom's long term potential so much at this point that I have put the majority of my funds that are earmarked for this type of investing all in Neom.
Of course, I do have other monies that are invested in much more conservative stocks or mutual funds as part of my portfolio diversification plan.
Typically someone from this board will post a summary or synopsis of TS' Neom updates so I am hoping that will continue to keep me informed of what he is telling his subscribers going forward.

Moconews.net commentary on new mobile barcode patent
http://www.moconews.net/?p=5010#comments
NeoMedia Technologies has been awarded a patent covering the use of mobile cameraphones to scan barcodes and return information. This is US Patent No. 6,993,573 and the abstract reads:
A camera-enabled cell phone that is adapted to image a machine readable code such as a bar code, decode the bar code, send the bar code data over the Internet to a resolution server that will return an associated URL that will link the camera phone to content on an information server. Thus, by taking a picture of a bar code symbol, the camera phone will automatically retrieve content from the Internet that has been linked to that bar code.
The steps appear to be to take a picture of the barcode, the image being decode and converted into a URL on the handset, that URL being sent to a central server which returns information to the handset.
There’s a lot of mobile barcode readers, some using normal UPC barcodes and others which generate their own. I’m not sure exactly how they work or whether they’ll be infringed by this patent. However, the patent was filed on June 7, 2004, so if they predate that time they should be OK.

Zacked, I doubt there will be a Neom kickoff at today's Superbowl. I am fairly certain the quiet period is still in effect. The award of the new patent was material news, and the press release wording was in line with other recent press releases - meaning there was no significant forward-looking news included that would violate SEC QP rules.
However, I do still expect the QP to end very, very soon. IMO, we will need to see some other PR's that are definitely more forward-looking to confirm that we are unquestionably out of the QP.
Enjoy the game!

IMO, I think Neom has a better mousetrap. But, for the time being, Action Engine has a product launched and well supported by Microsoft, Intel, Sprint, Ebay, Amazon and others. Whether or not they are infringing on Neom's patents are for the lawyers to decide. But since they are in the same mobile marketing space as Neom, maybe Chas should pursue trying to convince them to take their product to the next level by licensing paperclick. JMHO.

You heard it here first, be on the lookout for Action Engine in the coming months because they will probably be on the majority of our devices. I have never given such a high review before, but I truly believe in this product and this company.

DD Ebay and Amazon are among the Content Partners of Action Engine. I would bet some day they will be "active" partners with Neom or one of its licensees. It's just a matter of time IMO since we know Neom has already been courting both Ebay and Amazon.

Action Engine Joins Strategic Microsoft Alliance -- Mobility Partner Advisory Council
Action Engine Corporation, the leading provider of Advanced Data Service (ADS) solutions for wireless operators, announced today that it has been selected to join as a strategic partner the Microsoft Mobility Partner Advisory Council (MPAC). Action Engine was selected among a strong list of companies based on its business viability, product excellence and maturity, customer success and market penetration with wireless carriers, as well as its commitment to the Windows Mobile platform.
This year marks the second anniversary of Microsoft´s MPAC program, which was formed to build and foster stronger relationships between Microsoft and companies that develop mobility solutions. The council also serves as a forum to garner focused feedback on Microsoft platforms, and to provide new technical, marketing and business development opportunities to companies that use Microsoft technology in the mobility space.
"Software is the key to enabling a new generation of telecommunication business offerings aimed at meeting the demands of service providers and their customers, and driving new revenue streams," said Julie Wymetalek, manager of the MPAC program at Microsoft Corp. "The goal of MPAC is to provide an atmosphere where Microsoft can work with leading companies like Action Engine to foster the development and delivery of next-generation mobile and computing technologies that help spur industry growth."
Action Engine´s CEO and founder Craig Eisler commented, "We are pleased that Microsoft recognizes Action Engine´s Advanced Data Services software solution as a strong and rapidly growing category of mobile technology. MPAC provides a tremendous forum for market-leading companies like Action Engine to network and collaborate across the industry, and more importantly, within the wireless ecosystem. The combined success of MPAC partners has already begun to fuel a new era in mobile technology and we are excited to be deepening our engagement and on-going relationship with Microsoft through this effort."
Action Engine leads the industry as the first company to deliver a feature-rich, carrier-grade ADS solution that enables mobile operators to easily and economically develop and deploy a differentiated and custom-branded suite of data services that functions across multiple device types and mobile operating systems, including Microsoft´s Windows Mobile-based 2002 and 2003 Smartphone, and 2002 and 2003 Pocket PC, and 2003 Pocket PC Phone Edition. Unlike legacy technologies that have failed to catalyze wireless data adoption, Action Engine´s technology optimizes both device and network usage through its ´smart client´ approach -- providing them with a rich and intuitive user experience, unparalleled network efficiency and convenient and always-available access to applications and data independent of a network connection. Consequently, Action Engine is helping global wireless operators improve bottom line performance by successfully driving data usage, adoption and customer loyalty.

New Release of Action Engine Mobile Application Platform Delivers on the Seven Rules of Mobile User Experience
Support for Java-enabled Mobile Phones, Small Memory Requirements for OTA Download, and Multimedia UI Updates Highlight New Version of Award Winning Platform
CTIA—SAN FRANCISCO—September 26, 2005—Shattering the mobile usability barrier, Action Engine® Corporation, the mobile application platform leader, today announced the availability of the newest version of its award-winning Action Engine Mobile Application Platform™ (MAP 4.0). Action Engine is exhibiting at CTIA Wireless I.T. and Entertainment 2005 from September 27-29, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
With this release, Action Engine becomes the only company to successfully meet all of the usability criteria defined in “The 7 Rules of Mobile Data User Experience” (http://www.drucker-associates.com/MUE.htm) report written by wireless industry expert, Elliott Drucker.
Highlighting the newest release of the platform is support for Java-powered mobile devices, enabling the breakthrough Action Engine user experience on the majority of the world’s phones. According to Ovum, 80 percent of all handsets sold worldwide in 2005 will support Java, and the installed base of these handsets exceeds 850 million devices. By supporting Java, Windows Mobile, and Symbian powered devices, Action Engine meets Drucker’s Rule #7 for “mobile device independence.”
“We are bringing our superior mobile user experience to the mass market,” said Scott G. Silk, president and CEO of Action Engine. “Now, the vast majority of mobile phone owners can access content like news, weather, sports scores, and driving directions, using 80% fewer keystrokes and receiving 20x faster results than with browser-based alternatives. Industry analysts, like Drucker, are defining the criteria for which all mobile application platform companies will be judged. Action Engine is the only company that can meet those criteria today.”
Other Action Engine Mobile Application Platform enhancements include small memory requirements to facilitate rapid over-the-air downloads and a new multimedia user interface.
“Action Engine's Mobile Application Platform offers a unique means to deliver compelling new information services to end users that is complementary to existing WAP portals,” added Tony Cripps, analyst, wireless software at Ovum. “Making the MAP client available over the air to Java-enabled handsets will only increase its attraction.”
Mobile Application Platform for the Masses
The latest Action Engine Mobile Application Platform was built using the Java MIDP 2.0 specification, so Java phone users can now get the same intuitive, responsive, and personalized Action Engine user experience people have enjoyed on Windows Mobile and Symbian devices. This consistent user experience meets Drucker’s Rule #1 for delivering the “critical component of user comfort and familiarity,” while maintaining the critical offline functionality (Rule #4) for which Action Engine has become known.
Applications built on the new edition of the Action Engine Mobile Application Platform will share information (Rule #5), automatically transferring data so that users can avoid painful data entry. The Action Engine Mobile Application Platform will also learn and remember user preferences and previous actions, offering dynamic personalization features (Rule #6) to the mobile phone user who wants to avoid typing on a tiny keypad.
Action Engine also refined the platform’s user interface (UI), improving the graphics and rendering functions. The UI features rich graphics and multimedia capabilities, as well as simplified data entry (Rule #2) to deliver an extremely satisfying user experience.
Maintaining a commitment to efficient network utilization (Rule #3), the footprint of Action Engine Mobile Application Platform code that runs on the mobile device is now less than 150K. As a result, users can quickly and easily download the Action Engine software to their mobile devices over the air.
Other Action Engine Mobile Application Platform enhancements include the addition of more open standards, such as XHTML and WML2. As a result, application developers will find it easier to build new applications quickly and with low training costs.
