Ur welcome
U still holding the gems here?
Thanks.
The admins and I are all on first name basis and they don't like me and feeling is mutual. Haha
Saw this same type of operation on SLTD paricularly as a peeny stock now it's on the big boards and waiting for a positive ER and profit statement, will then explode as will manta eventually. Oh well, will stay long and wait as I did there.):d
I can't afford to have a lot off deletions. I suspect junk is doing it, and I don't want to draw attention of the admins again. I just got back after 2months of jail time. My posts about Elon Musk and Tesla intrductory vids were promply deleted since they countered their arguments. Thanks though for liking my posts when they stay up. Haha
Blanka,
When those two negative nellies on Mantra go away let me know. They just deleted my last two post, I don't feel like being censored anymore. I shoud just dump my 100k and burn their butts, however I think the tech is real so will hold. Thanks

It can be done 2012
Elon Musk and Tesla would, I'm sure, love to hear all about introducing a new car via video. He obviously hasn't been to successful doing that type of introduction!
Why would any company dilute the impact of this video by releasing it prior to the convention? That would not make any sense at all. You want everyone talking about it right now while they are a captive audience. You want them to build their own excitment.
It's never to late to have a major investor announcement. That is always a confidance builder.
You would be wrong in that assumption. There was quite a bit of discussion he made that announcement. And while I don't particularly care for the batteries I will say as someone else said earlier it has the potential to be a hugh ground breaker for all of solar. Also since it is open source it is open to anyone who cares to build or improve on them. Personally I take a very long term view of events like this as should any long here. Oh and if u have some news on the SLTD front please post it so we can discuss it. )-d
Nome be nice. They don't know when your playing around. If some of u are not aware nome has been here forever as has his mom.
Would help to a PR to that affect. I'm sure there is income now, however well u know.
Not to worry Alex. I just picked up anoter half mil so now holding long with 1'million. It will go eventually just takes time.
The only thing inovative is the size and the material to make the battery. I could put 10 to 15 gel batteries on a garage wall and get better end results as I have done in a few big call centers to back up operations data center. Yes you are correct it will get better over time but right now it's going to be a hard sell for home owners and I don't believe they will sell many to individuals. Big commercial applications is a differant story. These things simply do not have the juice, even if a home owner was using 480 volts ( which they are not) the amps needed wouldn't be there without multiple units. A 3 ton air conditioner needs 75 amps at startup that requires 10kw. And once running it still requires 15 continuos amps. Not going to happen for a homeowner right now.
Most 240 v units have high amp draw at startup. A 3 ton unit will draw 10kw at start and 75 amps. Once up it still pulls 15 amps. If you run at 480 volts it would 22 amps at start and 4 amps constant running. However I don't know any homeowners running 480. Bottom line you gotta have the startup amps.
The Tesla wall battery is nothing. Look at the spec sheet link. Notice peak amp output is only 8.5. A waffle iron requires 10 amps to run. About the only thing these batteries are going to run is lights and maybe a ceiling fan. It sure isn't going to handle any 240 volt units. Peak output is only 3500 watts. My generator puts out 5000 watts peak and 20 to 25 amps peak and I still can't run 240 volt.

BTW now long here.
The real problem is not so much the watts it has more to do with the amperes required.
For example: You have a 120 volt waffle iron that uses 1,200 watts. 1,200/120=10 Amps. Therefore something is really out of whack as marks post shows peak amp output is 8.5 amps.
I have a 5000 watt generator that puts out 20 to 25 amps. It will run a housefull of 120v but none of my 240v because there are not enough peak amps to start them.
At this point not impressed.
Sorry forgot the link

Exactly. But as of now I have seen no numbers. Would be nice to see something along the line of (at x amount od drawdown the average depletion time would be Y number of hours.)
I made an assumption earlier based on a PR piece that said the batteries were expected to BE INSTALLED BY SOLARCITY. Further research indicates that Tesla Energy installed them themselves at numerous KJ as test locations. Although it would be nice to have access to the batteries you all need to keep in mind that Musks cousins started and run Solarcity and that Alon is chairman of the board there. I can't see him giving the us an advantage right now. Yes he said open source but he has them and until someone else ramps up to produce them he has control of distribution. Guess who gets them first.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said his company’s newest foray, Tesla Energy, has adapted the technology it uses for its $70,000 electric cars for use in the residential and commercial market. The battery packs are expected to be sold as part of a package with a solar power system by SolarCity, a solar installer founded by Musk’s cousins, Lyndon and Peter Rive. Musk is SolarCity’s chairman and largest shareholder.

Press release stated solar city installed them.
Wrong! Markp is ahead of me.
And that is my question. Without a source of power to store how long will the batteries last before they run out of juice?
.? How long will the charge last in these batteries? I have seen no mention of that?
Talk about slow! We don't even have 50K volume and it's almost noon. Tried to prop us up last night with the 4.67 buy but obviously didn't hold.
Having reread that thing six times at least, I am going to back track and say it's all prepatory, and that nothing has changed listing wise at this point. I do believe it is going to happen shortly, but think I over read it. In other words Jim gets the preferred stock now but it has no affect until uplisting actually occures. Least thats my take on it now. Still is great news and we are moving forward and we can stuff the R/S.
Oh come on. Which manufacturer just gave us their shiny approval as a sterling installer.
Look a reverse requires a 30 day notice. Umpteen doezens of paper work, loss of credibility with the investment community. Give it a rest!
Yep, and still think it's the company that loves SUNworks.
Ok, you almost had me thinking I had lost it. Yes interesting. There has got to be more. As I recal when Relm uplisted it took a couple of days for things to settle out.

Well, this is what it says
Also on January 9, 2015, the Company issued 4,400 shares of Series A Preferred stock to James B. Nelson, the Company’s current Chief Executive Officer, Director, President and interim Chief Financial Officer.
Sorry growth that post wasn't meant for you.
WHY IN THE HELL WOULD THERE BE A R/S? Our stock totals are miles behind other companies. Against some companies, lets say Apple, Microsoft, etc our total shares wouldn't even make comma dent in their numbers. Get over it! There is no need! Sme of you jyst can't live with success apparently.
Yep. That's what I read. Will issue, have issued.
Read the next paragraph. Two things. Will be issued. Two. Have been issued. Did I read that wrong?
That would be how I read it. jim will now have a real stake in the company.
If I read that right, we are pretty damn close if not actually. Double check me on that, but I am pretty sure I read it right.
