thanks for the thoughts.
yeah..I know. I agree. Really. I just don't see it happening.
but..like I said. Suprize me :)
yeah...Insurance....
AIG...
say no more.
well..I too reserve a lot of judgement that Grassley or anyone else will be able to acomplish what so many people here think they will accomplish.
I'd love to be proven wrong. But I really don't see it ever trading again. What I DO see, is brokers being forced to refund the original purchase price of the shares that individual investors bought.
we all agree the system is f'd, and BCIT was hosed by that corrupt system. But, the potential $$$ damage is too great, and the floodgates would be opened.
The liberal in me wants that to happen..Screw the banks/brokers, etc. They broke the law. They should pay.
The conservative in me knows what kind of massive damage that kind of MOASS would cause. (and almost doesn't care..haha)
I always found his posts to be a voice of common sense and reason amongst all the hype.
uh...redeption? Yeah..I don't think that was the point.
and I'm as credible as anyone else here.
ROTFLMAOOOOOOO
**SERIOUS POST CONCERNING CLARITY**
all joking and crap aside..Clairty gave me permssion to post here for him. He has come down with Pancreatic Cancer. He hopes to make it to xmas with his family. He won't be online much after the end of July, and wishes to thank both everyone on iHub for their freindship and spirited debates. He wishes everyone the best for their investments.
Personally, I hope he gets to stick around long enough to see the BCIT saga end...one way or another.
thanks.
dave
LOLOOLOLOLOLOL :)
indeed.
oh. and LOGO is still on the air.
I can guarantee that as far as Shell/Bishop are concerned, you couldn't be more wrong.
still trying to find an obit or something...anyone??
"Please have your staff contact Brian Downey of my staff at (202) 224-4515, no later than July 27, 2009 to make arrangements to discuss this matter"
nothin' like waiting until 3 days before delisting or whatever is gonna happen at the end of the month :)
nothing here..
http://www.legacy.com/obituaries.asp?Page=OBITFINDERRESULTS
of course..we don't know what his REAL legal name is..there were a tone of aliases..
or here....
http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/thedesertsun/
lolol :)
yup..would love to see a real financial report.
and I repeat. Sigh.
good to see you again.
absolutely. Enough of the webiste/stock board crap. Take it big and take it public. Really..what ELSE is there to lose? BCIT ain't trading, ain't ever GONNA trade. Might as well make that naked Emperor streak on down Wall Street with his willy waggin' in the breeze.
about the same number that have successfully sued their shareholders??
But..what the hell..it's worth a shot and the publicity.
PLEASE do that.
I would love nothing more than to be proven wrong.
Turn..I TOTALLY get the whole point, especially from the legal POV of what SHOULD happen.
however...BCIT is just one a THOUSANDS of companies that have been NSS'd to death, or FTD'd to death.
I keep looking at Overstock as an example. There's a company with millions of $$ is assets, P&L, etc...yet THEY can't seem to get anything done.
BCIT is indeed a unique(but not really) situation, only in the fact that Megas didn't roll over and give up, but chose to fight..However, he was simply bent over the pool table by the DTC and everyone else trying to tell he 'could' fix it, KNOWING that he'd NEVER fix it.
and, becuase it's 'just a shell'...that just exaserbates the situation..imvho.
I still stick by my assertion that until BCIT/Energy Source, whatever..has ASSETS AND VALUE in the company, NOBODY of any authority is going to give a damn.
zzzzzzzzzzz
:)
indeed. a good effort. I see a 'few' things that will fall into the 'disclaimer' file..but nothing that is THAT bad.
"and not one news agency would pick up this rather bizzare bit of news... I doubt many of our elected officials even understand the practice of selling shares that dont exist... "
exactly correct. Why do you think no news agency bothered??? Enough people sure did contact them. I did. Maybe because BCIT was an empty shell and nobody gave a crap? I bet that if Overstock tried to pull the 'sue all the shareholders to 'expose' the naked short' ploy, Kramer would have been all over it.
gotta wonder, what with all the $$ that Megas has alledgedly spent on this...why didn't he cough up $20k or so for a full page ad in the WSJ, USA Today, or some NY Times...makes ya wonder.
That pretty much sums it all up.
was there an R/S or something?
LOL at the Humbolt line. Smart kid :)
we're gonna need to call up a few vampires and leeches to clean up after today's bloodletting.
Yup..Love the Fish Tossers :)
yup. it sucks. The PETA peoples hearts are in the right place most of the time..but they go WAYYY overboard way too often.
speaking of which..I went to Salumi yesterday. DROOOL.
oh good lord.
The DTC's actions are downright crimial.
The SEC's actions are downright negligent.
nice :) I -wish- there was some substance to argue about :)
it might :)) I tried it on one of my extra chins. I think it popped a zit.
:)
f'n unbelievable.
