Yes and no.
Yes - if both parties agree with how profits will be shared, etc.
Think about it this way. Mac is going to be the one to build the deals from scratch and then come to Brian for money. Brian gets the money and the lion's share of the profits as principal owner of SYNJ? I don't see Mac agreeing to that.
I would think that it would make more sense for Mac, who is clearly doing all the work to build, to negotiate a case by case scenario with SYNJ.
Per my prior post, Peter is the Man in South Carolina, not Mac. Mac is the knowledge expert, but Peter is the man with the connections.
Yes...always have been....
Just on this board, one extreme (pessimist) causes the other exteme to come out (optimist) to balance.
I recognize that the reason that people are pessimistic.
I have been in constant communication with the company, as best as I can, since I bought shares here, and while I too am frustrated with the delays, they have done things...albeit minor compared to what I would think they could have gotten done.
But since I know nothing about demo, etc., I will trust/defer to them.
But trust has a limit....it needs to be earned...and time is coming to reward it by showing that the demo will actually happen in May, per the last post by bcndir on their board.
Well I will go a step further...
Nothing done by April, they are going to be dealing with litigation from the county...then they will have a whole other set of issues....
but, they have 15 working days to show that they are doing more than cleaning the paths, putting up signs and locks, and getting electricity to the site.
The trailer is there, paths are cleared, electricity, phone, etc. are in place....time for them to show that they actually are in the business to make money via operations.....
I may think that this company is real, but doesn't mean that I don't want it to show us that soon/now...
That is an interesting question....
I doubt that either party has walked away from each other.
How often they talk is anyone's guess. But, I don't see anyone walking away from an opportunity that apparently exists in South Carolina.
They don't have to like each other, but there is a lot of money on the table here.
News that we are waiting on, based on financial report:
1) Warehouse purchase OR Grant
2) Denamis purchase
3) Denamis installation timeline
4) Energy City plan confirmed with State support
5) Additional divys
6) Additional financing: private or public
7) Uplisting
8) Denami production
9) Fuel sales
10) Energy City projects launched
The first four are what I am focused on...they alone put us in pennies or damn close, IMO. Just think about what the rest will do.
Think about what you quoted this way....
what that says is - Mac is going to run with his own company and get deals in place. then he will come to us and if we like the opportunity, we will put the money and financing together.
That is all good, but what we have to recognize is that there is nothing in place that states that MEG has to use SYNJ to get financing.
I would think that, based on some of the projects on the MEG website, Mac should be able to get other financing from anyone.
Just saying that it is a loose relationship at best. Nothing defined...
MEG is listed...not SRE or SYNJ.
And based on what I think the financial report is saying,...I am not sure that MEG has anything to do with us...
Again, I went back over the past year of PRs.
SYNJ consistently has guided us to what they are doing. Never been explicit, but never outright surprised us with something we weren't expecting. So, no mention of federal or international opportunities, nor any discussion of activities outside of South Carolina lends me to believe that South Carolina is their focus.
2.5 people focusing on South Carolina (Mac is only half-focused) seems about right.
Don't know if I am right, but I am going more by what we have been told than by speculation of what we think might be going on.
Thanks...I guess what I am struggling with is that Brian, even with being vague, has always told us where we are focused and what we are focused on.
And I have not seen anything that tells me that SYNJ or SRE is focused on anything other than South Carolina.
Again, I go back to the financial report/forward looking statements. He makes no mention of anything outside of South Carolina.
Now could be that he is waiting for things to season...but season and complete ommission are two entirely seperate things...
And the message since day 1 is South Carolina...no?
A month ago SYNJ posted 3rd Q financials and forward looking statements.
This from a man that would rather not tell us anything.....
Skipping the financials which I think were irrelevant due to timing, the report stated that:
1) Peter Katzburg (CFO) is basically as important as, if not MORE important, Mac Marshall. Peter is the key to South Carolina.
He is the reason we have:
- Financing for Mardid group
- Lead role in "Energy City"
- Relationship with SCSU
- Relationship with SC government and officials
- Role with Palmetto Pipeline
Now, you tell me, is Peter or Mac the Man?? My guess is that Mac is the knowledge expert, but we have an opportunity to lead SC because of Peter, not Mac.
2) Marshall Energy Group is an enigma, could be part of SYNJ, but it isn't. Could help SRE grow outside of South Carolina, but not right now. It looks like Mac has got MEG operating on his own. The way I re-read the report, SYNJ got concerned that all of the things that Mac was doing in MEG would not help SYNJ/SRE ability to get to production phase in South Carolina. They got conerned that MEG would cause political issues due to the sensitivity of the relationships Mac would be fostering to get those deals done and risk SYNJ/SRE ability to close the deals in SC. Note how they don't acknowledge a single project that MEG is working on. Not even any interest in them... Compare that to the relatively detailed updates regarding the other opportunities...
3)Divys: They are serious about everyone getting divys. They did work with Scottrade and Ameritrade...they even showed us the transaction details...
I am just saying that things are happening and that they are doing something real, not just P&D.....
If you want to be part of a company that basically will run energy programs for an entire state...this is the place..IMO
GOIG did nothing all last year, now look at it explode...same thing will happen here by year end...IMO
How do you know that we have applied for so many? Sorry, I feel like I missed something.
I know that there are several solicitations that have been posted, but I don't recall them being associated to SYNJ/SRE.
No wings today.....probably no wings for a little while.
But these wings will fly one day...of that I am 100% sure.
Okay, but both companies have heavy debt...
I can see the value of operating together, but how do they overcome the tremendous debt?
I was re-reading the financial statement report and got that exact same sentiment....Peter is a key...really important..to the success of the company...
All eyes on South Carolina...everyone should focus on South Carolina as well and ignore everything else...
Well, there is a converse to every question....
My point is that I have asked this question several times and none of the doubters has answered it directly.
Each tells me that it is not going to happen, never happened, and even though I acknowledge the history of inaction, no one states what ACTUAL demo would mean for the company.
My point is that, actual demo means:
1) We are getting the $5.3M
OR
2) We are going to make money from the demo site
Either one is really good news!
Also, it would mean that the other ideas that Rick has are not make-believe.....
Now, let's see if the demo actually gets started!
LOL - Crabber- I could tell you some good options, but you wouldn't believe me.....
Have a good weekend!
Dude - chill out, slamming me?! That's fine, there are only a handful of people on this board that may have done as much or more DD than me....
But, let's take a look at you....
You get on a board, demand that we tell you everything we have learned and then slam someone who makes a little fun of the fact that needed to BOLD everything???
LMAO....too funny...
GLTY
I will help you this much....
It has got a lot of potential....
You want DD, ask Dragonwing or Tufan....maybe they will waste their time to make you happy.
Okay - Per BCND April is the tell-tale month.
I know that there are those that have been here a couple of years that don't think anything will happen and that all we will hear is that there was no progress and only delays.
I am not going to argue with them because they have been through plenty of lies and delays....
Just keep this in mind...IF this does actually happen, that the asbestos clean-up, demo, etc., begins...what is this company worth then?!?!
A LOT MORE THAN .004 or .0008
you really think that putting it in will get people to respond faster??? LOL
no - i don't agree...but i understand what you are saying...
Oh so now you are going to tell what you know???? ;)
just having fun with you...
Interesting that Methes did not PR the receipt of payment....
I am not doubting you...just find it interesting....
Good stuff.....
I will say though...nothing beats good DD....
Okay....well, there you go...sealed off...
Now there are no more sources of information.....unles EZYY8 wants to share what he knows... :)
???? what does that mean ???
Anyone contact M. Laporte? Who has his email or been in contact with him? Can you email him for an update?
People getting nervous....
Means it is time to buy...
Well, even if it goes down to .0002, why would you sell, if you were so inclined?
I have lots of concerns, but the fundamental potential here is rare and I haven't seen anything that says it isn't real....just haven't seen anything that shows that it is real either...
If it hits .0002 I am definitely adding more.....
No...I understand (i defer to your expertise)...I wasn't supporting the specific model, just the concept.
Actually, brokers are not uncommon...not saying that is the case for us, but it happens more than you would think..
I have already done the calculations...this could be $5-8 within 5 years...scary isn't it?
It could also be dead, done, non-existent in 5 years...
awww...come on...i was trying to end the day on a positive note...
Also, the truth is that $1.00 isn't that crazy, if you look at what they are working on doing...the company's objectives do create that type of value....
The question of whether it will happen is a fair question, but that what they are trying to do could achieve a $1.00 pps cannot be argued....
How much annual revenue does SYNJ need to generate to get to $1.00 pps?
If this thing is real...it is $1.00+ no doubt about it.
Anyone worried about the O/S is not thinking about all the national and international potential.
This is a boom or bust company...
Well, if you know something, that truly is good...and I hope that is good for everyone!!
Just I don't know it :(
Tufan,
Just keep in mind the following:
1) DoD does not yet report sub-contractors. They are working on adding that level of detail, but the current search engine does not provide that information, so if they are a sub-contractor, that is one reason why they don't appear.
2) It takes @90 days for the DoD database to be updated, so it could just be that it is not yet posted.
That is fine...as a matter of fact, BS has been consistent with that delayed announcement approach.
I don't know, it is almost mid-April and I hoped that the warehouse question would have been history by now....and that we would be talking timeline to production.....
it's coming...one way or another...it is coming.
This is definitely a company that beats to its own drum...
While I like a lot of what they have and have supported many of the things that they have done, I only struggle that they haven't given us anything that can be independently verified... for over 6 months...
bud,
that is the way it works on many boards....
my point is that if someone knows something either:
a) share
b) keep it to yourself
don't tell everyone that you know something but aren't going to share it, blah, blah, blah....
it's childish...
if i know or think something, i share it regardless of what others think...i personally learn a lot from those that agree and that bash my posts....
ezyy8, sorry but that is a load of crap...
you don't want to inlfuence buys/sells....then leave this board!
Look, we are here to exchange information, questions, issues, etc.
Some pump, some bash, but at the end, the purpose of the board is to communicate.
I hate people that say "I know something you don't know...!!!"
If you know something and want us to know, share it. Otherwise keep the "fact" that you know something to yourself.
Sorry - this is not a personal attcak....just saying, tell us or keep it to yourself.
I understood that. My point was that this stock still has a lot of potential and A lot of buyers....
but, if you look at my posts from yesterday also a lot of question marks.
