I think that sub-$2 is truly the worst-case scenario, but you may be correct, it may go there.
Their price target is $6? LOL, when, next century?
Should be sub-$3 tomorrow.
They've got a long, long way to go.
The U.S. is #1, with 765 motor vehicles per 1000 people. China is #107 with 10 motor vehicles per 1000 people!

If I was going to jank your chain you wouldn't have any doubts about it.
I'm not quite sure what janking is, but it sounds painful.
LLEN...I cancelled my sell order for $1.88, perhaps this is ready to run to $2. Going to be watching closely on Monday.
RNA: I don't think that there will be any specific events. Instead:
1. Good pipeline. At least three other programs with very promising drugs.
2. In their CC they said that the drug that performed poorly in the recent test—drisapersen—which caused the recent radical decline in stock price, was designed over 10 years ago and their other drugs were designed more recently, and they’ve learned a lot.
3. Even though drisapersen did not do well in the P3 trial, they can still file with the EMA based on two good P3’s.
4. Still partnered with GSK.
5. They are in a good niche—orphan diseases.
6. They have plenty of cash and a bright future, they’re not folding up their tent and calling it quits.
Again, there’s no single event that’s going to occur in the near future, instead it’s simply going to be a cessation of all this panic dumping and a realization by both retail and institutional buyers that the risk-reward at this price is fantastic.
Maybe, just maybe, the RNA worm has turned. After seven straight red days, finally green.
Absolutely. For a minute I thought that they were going to bring it down all the way to $1.65!
I'm satisfied, going to watch it closely on Monday. If it really looks healthy, I might join you in holding for $2+.
After 7 straight red days, to close in the green is fantastic. Hopefully this has bottomed out.
Best of luck to all here.
I'm going to hold LLEN until next week, feel comfortable with it.
Have a great weekend folks!
Absolutely. Literally impossible to time the market that finely.
Any time I see someone who is regularly posting that they sold at the very top and bought at the very bottom I know that they are "truth challenged."
Pleny of exercise and a bottle or two of Bass Ale at the end of the day is my "fish oil pill." Tastes better too!
The thing is AMRN devotees say that it's not just fish oil. That's really what all the hoo-hah is about.
I'll probably leave a bunch on the table, but I've been trying to rein in my greed lately after watching decent green turn to drastic red too many times this year.
Got a modest goal of $1K per day without too many trades and too much stress.
All righty then, I think I'll postpone that bike ride for an hour.
I've got 10K shares at $1.78, if it hits $1.88 I'm out.
A test of $2....today!?!?
Swing- Got some LLEN, any guess on the action in power hour?
I don't know if this is true or not, but the State of New York bitterly complained about Tower, saying they didn't send adjusters, denied claims without even visiting, disputed & delayed settlements left and right, just made it difficult for everyone in order to salvage what they could of their bottom line.
They sell a lot of insurance in the states hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy, they did not anticipate how massive a hit their bottom line would take.
Repeat to self 100 times: "I will not play any more bios...I will not play any more bios..."
What the @#$%&* is going on with RNA!
Excellent DD. My reason for walking away from it is much cruder—the sheer unpredictability—but your explanation really fills in the dots.
In BBRY with you both at yesterday's close, just looking for a quick 10% = $9.
FREE...I made some decent money on this yesterday. That said, I challenge anyone to provide even a semblance of rationale—either with charts or fundamentals—for the movement of the stock.
Just aimless, arbitrary ups and downs, total crapshoot.
PS: What the heck is going on with this new format? Terrible!
Obama says, "OK, you win, no heathcare reform, just stop messing with iHub."
Congressional Republicans did this to shutdown iHub.
iHub screen: this is the permanent new look?
RNA: JQ & McBio, I greatly appreciate your input about Prosensa. I agree with you about the future potential of the company but...this is getting ridiculous!
I know it's hard but don't panic and don't sell at these prices. I have a large position and I'm so far underwater it's ridiculous, but.. this is going to pan out. It's going to explode upwards, just a matter of time.
Best of luck to all longs on the board.
FWIW: Vikram Khanna, a well-followed San Francisco biotech investor, tweeted yesterday: "Obviously not a popular choice, but bought $RNA. Just a rare disease stock trading close to cash."
I listened to the entire CC and basically it was a rehash of previously released info. I'm not really sure what people expected them to say: announce a buyout?
Anyway, I think that today was one final punch in the gut as punishment for what was essentially a poorly-designed trial. I wouldn't be surprised to see this back over 6 by Friday, with the PPS rising slowly but surely in the next few months.
I've got a fairly large position that I'm just going to hold. Best of luck to all on the board.
Thanks much. I'm underwater on a sizable position (never thought it would get this low!) but I'm just going to hold.
RNA: I'd appreciate any opinions on this one.
It seems obvious that drisapersen is toast.
Is Prosensa itself, as a viable entity, also toast?
Probably not.
As you may remember, I loved AMD under $2.50. But I think it's just a tad "range-bound" now in the mid-to-high $3's. It would take dramatically good or dramatically bad earnings to cause enough of a PPS movement to make it worth my while, considering the relatively small amount of shares that I'd be buying.
Actually, I think that the company has such a bright future that I'd like to see them release horrible earnings this time around, have the stock tank under $3, and I'd buy a ton.
You seem to be doing very well, that's great, keep up the good work!
I hear you. I meant that I'm anticipating a deal and the resultant market rise, and taking a big chance by buying early.
Could certainly go the other way...
All IMHO, of course: I'm going completely the other way.
Virtually every single member of congress--on both sides of the aisle--are multi-millionaires (that's just the way it is, very strange that things have evolved that way, but there's nothing we can do.)
They mainly have their money in stocks. What they don't have directly in stocks is closely tied to the market, like almost every business enterprise in the world.
They can't afford to have the market crash any more than we can. There will be a compromise, and we'll see a 300+ point day.
Have 25K shares at .52, just looking for $1,000 or so profit. Already have a sell order in at .56, will hold until then, hopefully next couple of days.
I'm in FREE at .515 and .525, .52 even average.
