Camtek (CAMT) Launch of 3D printer for PCB industry getting close. They have the new printer in California for demos now.

Probably deserves an article on SA or Thestreet.com (where I've recently been approved to write about 3DP stocks).
Nice TA video from today:
$DDD Nice battle going on with several intraday reversals from red to green today.
Currently up over 1% on a red market day- I like!
Looks like today's gap was already filled.
Monday's gap could get filled if market heads south.
With Euromold starting a week from today, I expect DDD will be getting a lot of press... so if it holds up the rest of the week, I'd say no on the opening gap Monday. But I have stops in should I be wrong.
$DDD - Nice move- broke resistance like butter and crossed above 10 day moving average.
true- maybe Jimmy might say it's undervalued now, lol.
If he does, I'd sell!
But seriously, the Q3 was impacted by lack of manufacturing capacity (which they should have addressed sooner in the quarter IMO). They now have a record $46M backlog in orders and new consumer printers going out the door just in time for holidays- and low gas prices = more disposable income.
Also really like the inroads into medical/healthcare industries now. That (and metals in general) is THE place to be.
HP? Not even worried about them. Their brand is tarnished and their printer won't be out until (maybe) late 2016 and it prints in plastic only, lol.
Now- if AAPL were to get in the game, I'd be very worried about the impact they would have on the major players. But HP is no AAPL, never was and never will be.

ARCW: ARC Group Worldwide Reports Record Sales and Gross Profit
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/arc-group-worldwide-reports-record-211500508.html
well...I wish they were all gold. I've had a few duds...but definitely more winners than losers and that's all it takes.
re: I know your TIPs are gold!
Thanks- it was touch and go for a few days to be honest, but he's doing good now. Guess you can have triple bypass at 82 and fully recover from it. He's now driving and walking every day.
I'll check out CABN- thanks for the tip.
Short term I think CAMT has a 15-20% gain coming in next week- we'll see.
Key reversal starting in this new 3D printing stock for PCB market.
https://3dprintingstocks.com/camtek-camt-selloff-overdone-followig-q3-earnings/
CAMT- great short term trade (1-2 weeks) in the making.
https://3dprintingstocks.com/camtek-camt-selloff-overdone-followig-q3-earnings/
Today could be key reversal day- stock gapped down on open following steady decline, and possible green close.
I ordered his book- 3D Printing:Second Edition from Amazon and should get it today. Looking forward to it.
ARCW- I averaged down and am green, but I think it still goes higher over time.
Been buying DDD quite heavily yesterday and a few more today. I have a tight stop loss in (3%) if it continues south.
I've been flipping these stocks- mostly with success. I think it's the best way to make money- have a long term position and then trade the volatility.
Am considering changing the focus of my site to include more trading- giving entry suggestions, stop loss suggestions, and when to take some profits off the table. Buy and hold in many cases doesn't work well- especially when a sector (like 3DP) is under generalized strong selling pressure.
Keep an eye on GGG.V (Graphene 3D Lab) and also buying back CAMT in current sell-off. No news and stock down 40% since they reported Q3. They missed by a penny, but the Q wasn't bad at all when you look at it. I think I'll be writing a CAMT follow-up soon. Just need to get the time. Probably by Monday- hopefully stock will have bottomed by then.
I've been flipping... mostly with success, but have tight stop losses in place.
Sector is obviously still trying to find proper valuations and I don't want to be caught holding the big players right now.
I've been buying $DDD heavily today.
I wrote earlier this year that I was going to wait for Q3 to load up- and I'm doing that now.
HP's printers aren't coming until 2016 and they''' apparently be about 10X faster than current models.
DDD will be launching their new system being used in Google's Project Ara early next year. Speeds are approximately 50X faster than what's currently available. HP may be a player, but their printers won't be nearly as fast as what DDD is going to unveil based on what I've read.
Seriously oversold. Q3 earnings were OK, but stock down over 30% since then.
Buying back here in $2.80s-2.90s now

Thanks monkeybuilt for that info.
Nice to hear SGLB still in the thick of things.
I'm expecting news from GGG soon re: the initiation of filament sales. Stock has performed well since trading began (up over 100%)and I think $2 + is possible once revenue begins and they become recognized as a a supplier of graphene filaments.
I've been away from writing lately due to my Dad's recovery from surgery, but he's getting around on his own now and just got medical clearance to drive again- so I'll be back to doing what I enjoy most myself- writing about 3DPS!
Thanks again for the update on the Aerospace conference
Sure- and the Forbes article is great exposure for this little company coming out of the gate.
Expect nice follow-thru tomorrow with this article.

Thanks Chef911 and stockmama22 for the thoughts. He's doing better now. Hopefully will be moived out of the surgical ICU this weekend.
Love the Arcam earnings today!
yep.
I think the selling was overdone at the close on Friday- but with the market as weak as it's been, it could go lower.
I won't be going to Santa Clara.
I wrote Alan Meckler and asked to be taken off the speaker's list. I was also going to speak in San Fran. at the China / World 3D Printing Industry Alliance http://www.world3dassociation.com/HTML/en1.html in November which I also had to cancel. China's government is opening a big center in San Fran. for China/U.S. 3DP cooperation efforts and this event will be the grand opening of the center.
My dad (82 years old) had a heart attack last week- they tried to get the blockage open with a stent in the cardiac cath lab, and the stent closed down immediately- so they rushed him off to emergency open heart surgery. That was Thursday night. He's still on life support, but doing better today- so hopefully they can get some of the tubes out of him tomorrow. That's the plan anyway.
He'll have a long recovery due to his age, and I'm his only immediate family left. So there was no way I was going to California for a week- or even a few days when he's here in Florida. He's always been there for me and I need to be here for him now.
So...no conference for me in October.
I haven't written about Arcam in months and months.
And (since you brought up market cap), Arcam has a higher market cap than XONE and VJET...not exactly a "super low cap" stock.
Anyway, best of luck and all that.
yea, market in general is tough right now.
I did end up adding ARCW on Friday at $10.05
We'll see if that was a smart move or not soon I guess.
Also started dipping back into Arcam shares (on Euronext exchange).
Largest position is GGG.V and I couldn't be happier with how it's performed last two weeks.
Just going to hold it here.
They sucked to put it bluntly. Will take time to recover. The worst part is even with acquisitions the Q1 guidance was below analyst expectations.
I got burned on this one this time for sure.
?
re: "very interesting hah, post it in the blog though bait and switch..."
As is often the case with your posts, I don't know what you're trying to say.
"bait and switch"? WTF?
Smart move by company to lock up that grey market ticker by making it the ticker for official registered shares. I was expecting a (confusing) third ticker. This is a smart move.
