"Annual Meeting of Stockholders of Searchlight Minerals Corp. to be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 12:00 p.m., Henderson, Nevada."
Like transforming water into wine.... Like the golden ticket to the Willy Wonka Factory.... I continue to accumulate.
Ding Ding Ding...that's right Johnny!!!
A lot of apps will be sold to reap the insurance benefits. Viral Baby!!!!!
My gauge has been more from experience. It's difficult to tell sometimes but seeing the market makers can give one an idea what kind of interest the investment community has in a stock whether its retail and/or institutional. Specific to SRCH I often see Raymond James (RAJA) and Mercator Associates (MERQ). The "shananigans" will usually cease if MERQ drops in for a visit especially if he takes a position on the top bid. They are a wealth management firm with very deep pockets but usually does not stay too long.
Hey Junk don't feel bad its a big party here dude! Bieber warrants at .01 so pull up a stool, let me buy you a beer and enjoy the conversation from these fine folks.
OPMG
Thank you. I use Ihub but it's a subscription. I also use Fidelity Active Trader but they don't show penny stocks on their L2. Not sure if that helps
28 market makers today and growing. I'm gonna pick up some more shares
Good point. I am not invested in BYVV* and have not done a lot of DD but I am interested in hearing other investor perspectives. I will initiate
Thanks I will
Agreed that is my strategy as well
Understandable and yes to your point I continue to accumulate SRCH. Another Casey fav is BYVVF it is also traded on the TSX and is priced under a dollar. Interested to hear your thoughts on it.
Thanks for the background on this play. I have been watching it trade but that would be the extent of my involvement. I look forward to the day when FINRA finally cracks down on scum like this and sends a clear message to the OTC community. Many good start up companies have fallen victim to defensive stock strategies and manipulation because of the "usual and customary" shenanigans from people like this.
This man belongs in prison but thats just my opinion.
JT
Conjecture and speculation with nothing to substantiate the claim. No surprise considering the source.
FWIW I don't hate anyone its a waste of energy and time.
OPMG
I love the message "one text or call could wreck it all". Very nicely done and will send an informational message throughout the market. The same market PhoneGuard will capitalize on.
None of this is coincidental and continues to show timing is everything
OPMG
Yes it is and the clinics that dispense them are owned by physicians. Pts show up on a weekly basis and very happily pay cash for their meds. Nothing like using an opioid to treat an opioid addiction.
I don't know anything about the plastics he's selling. It's a very competitive business and switching institutions is not easily done. A savvy sales rep that has strong relationships with hospital buyers and department heads can get it done. I have done it but it takes a lot of work and requires a great deal of demand and of course the right price.
Putting it another way I have yet to see a pharmacist sell sunglasses to an Eskimo. They do tend have agreements with area docs and you guys will make more money on the methadone sales hands down. Methadone is generic, cheap and plentiful and will most likely be the bulk of the revs.
The other will probably end up amounting to a few ancillary sales. But lets see what the fins have to say. Hopefully he files them and gets this ship back on track.
JT
He's selling methadone to area clinics. I'm in the biz and trust me it's a cash machine. Whether he plays nice with shareholders is a different story. I guess you guys will find out this week.

Bieber warrants at .01 management shares are much higher. Keeping pinky investors happy is not a priority building the company is.
Does this company ever put out earnings or is this just a PR machine?
One order for a significant portion of the UK? Looking back at all these pr's this company is now a GLOBAL manufacturer of this "chill drink" and I have no idea what it is they are selling.
Wow just when you thought you'd seen all shades of shady!!!!
JT
I agree black Friday was a miss but we don't know what the logistics were with the vendor that makes the cards. This is a small company that is just setting up shop. OPMG knew this and told us the first part of December. If Cellaris is buying OPMG stock then this partnership has a solid base. 200 stores is a lot for a small company and with Bieber's face on these cards they will sell and Cellaris knows this. Cellairis also knows with the kind of PR firepower PhoneGuard has behind them (Zimmerman) I imagine the selection of stores was done very strategically.
Christmas shopping is far from over and has actually only begun. I anticipate December to be an eye opening month for PhoneGuard.
The Times Square thing I believe was a photo opportunity that can be recycled through the media many times over. Very clever and often used tactic by the media. Remember Zimmerman is an ace in phoneGuards back pocket and I assure you they know what they are doing. They have to work around the resources of PhoneGuard and not the other way around. Let's not forget Bieber brought Zimmerman to PhoneGuard. Without him we would just be another start with a useful device and nothing more.
People ask what Bieber has done? Look at all the partnerships PhoneGuard has fostered in such a short time: Zimmerman, Veritas, Pure Growth, Cellaris, AON, DOT etc. etc. etc... Do we really believe these companies would care about a tiny startup that trades as a pinky stock if Biebs were not in our corner? From where I am sitting he's done quite a bit already. Rest assured all future involvement is and has been carefully negotiated with his peeps. Having Scooters Dad on the BOD is a good thing as it shows tremendous interest and opportunity for future growth.
OPMG
Dang paco for once you and I agree and yes my initial buy was supposed to be a quick flip. Funny thing is the day I made my first buy I actually had to take a driving course for work due to excessive speeding tickets. My instructor told me (back in may) there was a movement forming with the Feds and academia to confront the texting and driving epidemic.
So here I sit along with many others waiting. I said it once and I will say it again. Companies will profit from this movement and developing market. Which ones? Personal Injury lawyers of course will do well. Carriers and manufactures have and will get on board because they are expected to. And yes a handful of startups will compete for that niche position in the market.
So now I focus on the fundamentals that have kept me here and hope i picked the right startup. OPMG is aligned with some big dogs that are hungry and don't settle for table scraps. Unfortunately we are at the end of a calendar year and perhaps fiscal year so all I can do is hurry up and wait.
JT
Back at you Easy and hope SRCH brings much prosperity to its investors in 2012
I enjoy their posts as well. Still trying to figure out what a sillywog is though.
OPMG
I think he said there would be 2 major partnerships announced.
OPMG
Hey man your DD is much appreciated and welcome but let's take things one step at a time.
R/S now is rediculous and toxic; an R/S a year from now can be advantageous.
JT
Nice job thanks illojical
JT
Exactly my gf watches OWN (Oprah network) all the time and is constantly telling me about the shows. Everything from teenage prostitution to domestic violence etc. When Oprah ended her show and took on the role as CEO of her network she knew what she had in mind. Ratings were poor, sponsors and advertisers were not happy etc. Leveraging the experience from her show to build her network is exactly what she's doing. This is her plan and guess what her ratings are much better.
What does this mean for OPMG? Don't know but the more appropriate question should be "what does this mean for the distracted driving movement". Considering she started this whole movement with her pledge I'd say it means a lot. I won't speculate her personal relationship with Bieber. That's been done.
Long story short your right not all celebs want the big endorsement dollars to do what's right. 11,000 people a year die from distracted driving. The movement to stop it is here, the market is developing and many will profit. Let's just hope PhoneGuard has what it takes to capitalize on its front row seat.
JT
PUMA is not showing shares and the bid trades are rather strange. Any ideas??
"Ok....Time for another installment of my "insiders Info".
If you all want to research back you will see that ALL my insiders info has been true. I was the First to say that 19th was the next release, so here is the latest I have heard.
The company is going to release more news on Monday, and JB will be on a MAJOR TV Show mentioning Phone Guard one day next week. I was told the name but was asked to not say anything.
YOu can all take it for what it's worth, but my track record speaks for itself. Next week we will see high .08's or .09's again. So stay patient."
Four months ago you had an inside track and now your saying Bieber is bad for business?
Based on the recent buying activity I'd say there is optimism in the air. Like I said its not everyday one is able to transform water into wine
SRCH
The media will be reporting this just like they do with drunk driving over the holiday season
OPMG
You know its a tiny float and its half institutional owned right?
What's your strategy?
I dunno man PhoneGuard in a box with a free 3 month subscription to Bieber's fan club makes a great stocking stuffer to some.
The subscription my guess is a way to compliment what will hopefully be Bieber's face all over the box. Makes sense and that's what I would do.
The holidays could get interesting if they can get the product out to the stores early enough.
JT
Nice job Knuckles
Your opinion is speculative at best
Yea that is funny
OPMG
Thanks Easy. Do they anticipate meeting the 250 ton/day production goal?
Thanks. Seems opportunistic PI lawyers are blazing a trail of opportunity and creating a market for PhoneGuard to compete.
People ask "what has Bieber done" well there you go his name is an attention grabber. I wonder why she didn't just reference the AT&T app????
Car Accident Watch: Pop Star Warns Against Texting While Drivin
By On behalf of Sarah Nelson, P.C. posted in Car Accident on Saturday, November 12, 2011
You may think the blog is a broken record on this point. Just like drunk driving, if you text message and drive, at some point, you will cause a car accident. Text messaging and driving is that dangerous.
In fact, some studies show that if you are text messaging and driving, you're six times more likely to cause a car accident than someone who is drunk.
Now some tech savvy entrepreneurs are promoting products to help curb the problem of texting and driving. Enter the PhoneGuard.
The PhoneGuard is an application that disables your text messaging capabilities when the vehicle is going over 10 miles per hour.
Alex Brown, of Texas, was texting and driving and got in a car accident that threw her from the vehicle and killed her. Now her family is taking up the cause. They are on a mission to attack the problem and keep others from sharing her fate.
The Brown family has been traveling all over the country to promote the PhoneGuard. Recently, they received a high profile endorsement from Pop Star Justin Bieber.
The creator of the technology actually saw the Brown family on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and was inspired to help by creating the application.
So far, over 20,000 people have downloaded the application and the numbers are growing daily. The guess here is that many parents will be inclined to make this a mandatory application right alongside Angry Birds for their teen drivers.
Sarah Nelson is a Portland car accident lawyer who handles lawsuits involving distracted driving and text messaging and driving.
