The Untouchables
Read: Mark 1:40-45
Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him. —Mark 1:41 Mark 1
40
A man with leprosy[1] came to him and begged him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean."
41
Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!"
42
Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.
43
Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning:
44
"See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them."
45
Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.
[40] The Greek word was used for various diseases affecting the skin--not necessarily leprosy.
Of all diseases, leprosy is the only one singled out by the law of Moses and linked with sin. It's not that having leprosy was sinful, nor was it the result of sin. Rather, the disease was seen as a graphic symbol of sin. If we could see sin, it would look something like leprosy.
In Mark 1 we read about a leper who fell on his knees before Jesus and made his request: "If You are willing, You can make me clean" (v.40). It's the first instance in the Gospels of a plain request for healing—touching and profound in its simplicity.
Jesus was "moved with compassion" (v.41). People normally felt sympathy for the sick and troubled, but not for lepers. Because they were considered in those days as "unclean" both ceremonially and physically (Leviticus 13:45; 22:4), they were repulsive in every way to most people, who stayed as far away from them as possible. Nevertheless, Jesus was "willing" to reach out to this desperate, disease-ridden man and actually touch him! At that very moment the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.
Why did Jesus touch this man? He could have healed him just by saying, "Be cleansed." But His touch illustrated His great compassion.

A Jewish father was concerned about his son who was about a year away from his Bar Mitzvah, but was sorely lacking in his knowledge of the Jewish faith. To remedy this, he sent his son to Israel to experience his heritage firsthand.
A year later, the young man returned home, saying,
"Father, thank you for sending me to the land of our Fathers, "the son said. "It was a wonderful and enlightening experience, however, I must confess that while in Israel I converted to Christianity."
"Oi vey," replied the old man, "what have I done?"
So, in the tradition of the patriarchs, he went to his best
friend and sought his advice and solace. "It is amazing that you should come to me," said his friend.
"I, too, sent my son to Israel, and he returned a Christian."
So, in the traditions of the Patriarchs, they went to see the Rabbi.
"It is amazing that you should come to me," said the Rabbi. "I, too, sent my son to Israel and HE returned as a

their hearts to the Almighty.
As they prayed, the clouds above opened up and a

Mikey. The reason why the shareprice is where it is has been discussed a million times. In fact you have asked that very question a million times.
I suggest if you don't like the price you call management and voice your concerns like most of us have.
Excel
Premier1. Looks like some justice was served on Joe.
Excel
Halston. I STRONGLY disagree. Lets address each one of your concerns.
1. Two years of top secrets?
Hmmmmm. I can call John the VP almost any day of the week. Or the CEO Ray when available. Guess what? So can you. And they will tell you EVERYTHING they can legally tell you. Other things they can't tell you is due to negotiations.
That is FACT!
2. Bert results?
No bert results for Lucent test. It was a concept test only. In order to have bert results you need to do a simulation with other technology the way this tech will be used.
NV is in this process with RIGHT now.
3.No patent info.
The only patent info they can release at this time has been released. If you go back to meeting notes or I believe one of the shareholder letters that info is available.
4. No nasdaq. RS.
I'm answering these together as they interact together.
At the time of RS management had a good plan. Did I like it? NO! But I put my trust in them. Due to politics with application they had to pull it back. On top of that at that time the market headed into tailspin. Everything in business does not work out!
5. Missed timelines.
Once again. Everything in business does not work out! The fact is the two engineers were a blessing on one hand delivering the tech to NV. On the other hand they were a nightmare when it came to the proper development of technology which caused MANY missed timelines.
NV management has messed up in certain areas. I will grant you that. That being said they are bring to market a technology that WILL change the tech world as we know it.
It is SHOWTIME for NV management. What do I mean by that?
It is time to show some cards as they draw closer to releasing names of telecos.
All of the above has been from NUMEROUS talks with NV management and countless hours discussing with other shareholders.
PERCEPTION is EVERYTHING!

Thanks Karin. What would texn need to do to gain credibility back? This is a question for all. What would you have to see done before you have confidence they are finally turning the corner?
What do any of you think will have to happen to move us up out of here?
I think if texn doesn't gain some credibility back before REAL good news it will be very hard to move up no matter what.
My reason is lets say new blood sees the good news. So they buy in and we start to rise. At the same time due to lack of credibility the longs are selling into each spike.
This make sense? Hard enough to move up with daytraders selling off at end of day let alone people thanking God just to get out with being even.

The Reason Jesus Came
2. OUR CHRISTMAS GIFT TO YOU: FREE FLL NARRATION MP3 3.COMMENTS FROM THIS WEEK’S GUEST BOOK
-----------------------------------------------1. A WORD FROM THE EDITOR The Reason Jesus Came
This past week I had the privilege to visit our local prison to wish the prisoners a Merry Christmas and give them a Christmas card and a Father’s Love Letter card. My good friend and mentor, Aaron Schmidt had invited me to tag along on with him for his regular Christmas visit to the Thorold Detention Center.
The only physical contact we had with these men was to shake their hands through the bars of their cells. While there was no time to really connect one on one, their eyes told their stories…Some were angry, others fearful but most were simply glad to see anyone who would be willing to show them even the smallest gesture of love at Christmas.
I was touched seeing the reactions of some who opened up their Christmas cards right then and there and began reading the Father’s Love letter in front of all their cellmates. One young man in particular caught my eye. He was a large man of native-Canadian descent who was particularly touched by God’s love letter to him. His eyes seemed to glaze over as he began to read line upon line of how much he was loved and valued by his Heavenly Father. He looked up at us through the bars and his facial expression said more to us than a thousand words could ever say. It was at that moment that the Lord reminded me of the prophetic word first recorded in Isaiah 61 and then repeated by Jesus at the beginning of his ministry in Luke 4:18-19…The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. NIV
Looking into that young man’s eyes, I was once again reminded why Jesus came to earth. He came to earth as a little baby so that this young man could know the good news of God’s love. Just like the men I met in the detention center this past week, many of us have suffered emotional or spiritual imprisonment in one way or another some time in our lives. While we may not have had real prison walls to confine us, our own feelings of inadequacies and the judgments from others have kept us held captive by the enemy of our souls.
Two thousand years ago, Jesus came to break us out of our prison cells so that we might truly experience freedom. Freedom to be loved & accepted just the way the Father made us. Freedom to live a life free of guilt, condemnation and shame. Freedom to live in the shadow of the Father’s love never knowing a day where we were not loved. I pray that this young man will experience a freedom in the Father’s love that cannot be hindered by concrete walls or prison bars. I also pray that we too will experience greater freedom this Christmas season as we remember and celebrate the reason why Jesus was born in a manger all those years ago. Have a blessed ChristmasIn Father’s love,Barry Adams-----------------------------------------------2. OUR CHRISTMAS GIFT TO YOUChristmas is all about giving. God loved the world that He gave us His own Son. Jesus loved us so much that He gave up His own life. In this Christmas season, we can’t imagine a greater gift to give than the message of the Father’s love. MY FIRST CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN
I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
With tiny lights, like heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that tear,
For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
But the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart,
But I am not so far away. We really aren't apart.
So be happy for me, dear ones. You know I hold you dear,
And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I send you each a special gift from my heavenly home above.
I send you each a memory of my undying love.
After all, "Love" is the gift, more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.
Please love and keep each other, as our Father said to do,
For I can't count the blessings or love He has for you.
So, have a Merry Christmas and wipe away the tear.
Remember, I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

Merry Christmas to you all!
A Coincidence?
I was very proud of my daughter Emily. At only 9 years old, she had been
carefully saving her allowance money all year and trying to earn extra
money by doing small jobs around the neighborhood. Emily was determined
to save enough to buy a girl's mountain bike, an item for which she'd been
longing for. She'd been faithfully putting her money away since the
beginning of the year.
"How are you doing, honey?" I asked soon after Thanksgiving. I knew she
had hoped to have all the money she needed by the end of the year. "I have
forty-nine dollars, Daddy," she said. "I'm not sure if I’m going to make."
"You've worked so hard," I said encouragingly. "Keep it up. But you know
that you can have your pick from my bicycle collection" "Thanks Daddy. But
your bikes are so old." I smiled to myself because I knew she was right.
As a collector of vintage bicycles, all my girls' bikes were 1950's
models--not the kind a kid would choose today.
When the Christmas season arrived, Emily and I went comparison shopping
and she saw several less expensive bikes for which she thought she'd have
to settle. As we left one store, she noticed a Salvation Army volunteer
ringing his bell by a big kettle. "Can we give them something Daddy?" She
asked. "Sorry, I'm out of change," I replied.
She continued to work hard all through December; it seemed she might make
her goal after all. Then suddenly one day, she came downstairs to the
kitchen and made an announcement to her mother.
"Mom," she said hesitantly, "You know all the money I’ve been saving?"
"Yes dear," smiled my wife Diane. "God told me to give it to the poor
people." Diane knelt down to Emily's level. "That's a very kind thought
sweetheart. But you've been saving all year. Maybe you could give some
of it." Emily shook her head vigorously. "God said all."
When we saw how serious she was, we gave her various suggestions about
where she could contribute. But Emily had received specific instructions,
and so one cold Sunday morning before Christmas, with little fanfare, she
handed her total savings of $58 to a surprised and grateful Salvation Army
volunteer.
Moved by Emily's selflessness, I suddenly noticed that a local car dealer
was collecting used bicycles to refurbish and give to poor children for
Christmas. And I realized that if my nine-year-old daughter could give
away all her money, I could certainly give up one bike from my collection.
As I picked up a shiny but old-fashioned kid's bike from the line in the
garage, it seemed as if a second bicycle in the line took on a glow. Should
I give a second bike? No, certainly this one would be enough. But as I got
to my car, I couldn't shake the feeling that I should donate that second
bike as well. If Emily could follow Heavenly instructions, I decided I
could too. I turned back and loaded the second bike into the trunk, then
took off to the dealership.
When I delivered the bikes, the car dealer thanked me and said, "You're
making two kids very happy, Mr. Koper. And here are your tickets."
"Tickets?" I asked. "Yes. For each bike donated, we're giving away one
chance to win a brand new man's 21-speed mountain bike from a local bike
shop. So here are your tickets for two chances."
Why wasn't I surprised when that second ticket won the bike? "I can't
believe you won!" Laughed Diane, delighted. "I didn't," I said. "It's
pretty clear that Emily did."
And why wasn’t I surprised when the bike dealer happily substituted a
gorgeous new girls mountain bike for the man's bike advertised?
Coincidence? Maybe. I like to think it was God's way of rewarding a little
girl for a sacrifice beyond her years--while giving her dad a lesson in
charity and the power of the Lord.

Good morning Ernie. I disagree with you. Hang in there. I guarantee you that RB type of repeat posts and lies will not happen here.

Now what good is it if our new investors don't recieve the daily cheerful good morning from you?
