You really hate Rutherford? Did he give you a wedgie years ago or something? Hahn saw something there and thinks he can fix him, so he can reach his potential. I am good with that.
I am a little puzzled this morning hearing my White Sox are supposedly offering the best package for Machado? Unless they can have him signed to an extension before the trade, does not make sense to dig into the farm system and why would Machado want to sign an extension now with the guarantee of a huge payday should he be on the open market?
Well, at least you are still alive in one! I won my first playoff game last night in the one league and had a bye in the other. Looking like tough matchups in both this week though. McCown going down is making me wonder if Robby Anderson is going to be able to help this week? He was a big part in my run to the bye week!
In my other league, I need Damien Williams to stay out at least one more week! Drake was big for me last night again. I get Zeke back next week, so will have my Bell/Zeke combo if I make it that far!
Well, with Brady TD to White, I just about have my win wrapped up here.
Never know? Miami could have quite a few more points already. They are moving the ball, so a 2nd half shootout is possible? With Drake's nice first half, I am sitting with 16 point lead. Getting close to safe, as Amendola is most likely not the receiver of choice for NE in 2nd half.
Nice first touch for Drake! Two point run for me!
Never can say that until after the game is done. Hogan playing tonight helps balance out Amendola's ceiling. Also, with Williams still out, Drake will get plenty of opportunities and he seems to hit big ones with enough opportunities.
So, the Yankees with Maris and Mantle were the only team to ever have two players with 50 HR's in the same season. Looks like there is a very good chance that Judge and Stanton will complete this feat again for them.
Wentz is in fact done for the season.
Yeah, even though TN still not using Henry enough, his 8 points over McKinnon's 3 would have helped me! Cinci D absolutely killed me this week, but with a huge L. Bell game, I am sitting with a 6 point lead and Drake going tonight with the other team having Amendola going. I need Drake to have a game like last week and I should be OK.
Sat back and left McKinnon in.
Flip a coin. Keep thinking Hunt will break out and Lynch is TD Dependent.
Issue with Henry is if he does not score, I am screwed, as it is a 1/2 PPR and 2 Pts/25 Yards. He gets no play in the pass game. At least McKinnon should have a few catches, as would Inman, so not goose egged. Wish DeMarco would get hurt and Henry could have full duties.
McKinnon in for now
For Flex: McKinnon, Henry, or Inman? Right now leaning towards McKinnon with the hopes that Murray gets bottled up by Carolina D and they have to go to swing passes to McKinnon. But, also thinking long and hard about Inman with so many injuries to Cinci D.
That is a tough one. After big game by Smith last week, I may lean towards him. Rivers is due a down game at some point. That said, I am leaning Rivers over Goff in my one league, but that is so I am not concentrated on Goff.
That is going to ruin quite a few playoffs! We shall see the outcome, but Kamara going back to dressing room in 1st Q is not a good sign for those that rode him to the show!
Gotta roll with it. Almost did something stupid to make tonight interesting in putting in NO D in my one league over Cinci, but refrained at the last minute.
LOL, No Comment!!!!! With the recent return to the offensive force they were early, not sure why he has not been a huge part of it?
Have to go with your gut.
Thursday night games are hard to predict. A lot of crazy things happen. For me, looks like the only player I am going with tonight is Ingram in our league, which I am not really worried about anyway, as I see everyone got a participation award and into playoffs and we have no byes.
Nice! Good haul! I am alive in my two biggest money leagues this year, so hoping for another epic 2 League wins again!
Pisses me off that I lost out on that money!
Ouch! Made it in two of my three money leagues. In the 3rd league, have the 2nd most points in the league, only 9 points behind leader and am missing, as we do not have the Wild Card slot for team with most points not in on record. Took a lot of bad beats there this year!
In my one league, I got royally screwed out of 50% of the waive money. Lost the week by 1.5 points. If I would have won, I would have taken first and the 50% pot. Instead, I am 2nd and still get a bye.
Three things killed me:
1) K. Fuller stupidly stopped Carlos Hyde from scoring with time running out on Sunday, which would have given me the win. That tackle after the first down allowed the 49'rs to just kneel the clock away, as if they had let him score, they could have had over a minute to go down the field.
2) Ertz concussion early 2nd half. He surely would have gotten the points needed if he finished the game.
3) Mixon Concussion late 1st half. He as well would have easily given me the points needed, probably just needed to finish first half.
OK, I have a 17 point lead with Mixon going against Dalton and Cinci D. As of now, projected to win, which would give me Regular Season Title and 50% of the transaction money! That said, even if I lose, I have the tiebreaker in that league to have a bye next week. Good thing too, as I have to figure out my 3rd WR slot. Coleman gave me a big fat goose egg and C. Davis is not doing much either. Can I find a surprise late season bloomer there?
Last Flex to Mckinnon, Booker, Henry or D. Inman? McKinnon stands to have the biggest game, but a few down weeks in a row. Inman playing San Fran could have a huge day if Bears open it up, but that is a big if. Henry? Bench Murray already!!!! And then there is Booker. I have to play him in one league where I am going for the bye week, so not sure I want my fate in the other also tied to him when I have other comparable options? I think he should have a good game, but you never know.
I really am leaning towards putting Shaheen in, even though Loggains as the OC still has not figured out how to make him the monster he is.
Do I sit Engram for Shaheen this week? Worried about his recent yips and now having Geno Smith throwing to him.
Well, well! Win and I do get a bye no matter what. Still need at least the team with more points than me to lose to take 50% of the Waiver Money though!
Just had rules clarification sent out in my one league(I did not ask, so someone else must have). Three way tie goes to most points, but once that happens, then it reverts to a two way tie for 2nd, which would be head to head. Not sure I have ever been in a league with the three way tie at the end, so not sure if this is how it is always handled or not? Still, I will take it. Need Dez to get the week started of right for me tonight!
Mind boggling how Murray still gets 50% of the snaps????
Getting in the playoffs in 2 out of 3 money leagues is nice. Now, can I win both again this year where I made the playoffs? I did last year. The one will be tough, as have to get to last game to get Zeke back. That said, maybe over the next week or so, TN finally figures out they are better off with Henry being their bell cow and I get a complement to Bell!
Well, I am out of the one league, or at least need a minor miracle to get in, despite having 2nd most points by 4?????????????????? And next closest is over 100 away.
Seemed like the coach just would not let him get the carries to get hot? Now with the head injury and them trying to give Barber more carries, not sure he is worth holding onto. Tampa mailing it in for the season and has probably decided they are not bringing Martin back, so Barber and Sims will get more carries.
Davis is no sure thing, but good for a playoff bench stash. A win this week should give me a bye next week. Complicated scenario there. Three way tie for the lead in the league, beat both teams head to head in our only matchup of the season, so if I win and only one of them wins, I win the regular season. Now, if all three of us win, I am in the middle of the three for total points. Probably not going to catch team in front of me, but should hold off team behind me barring a huge week. So, if I win, good chance for the bye.
That said, I need one of them to lose! So the league title can be mine. That wins 50% of the waiver pool money for the season which is currently around $1,400.
I went ahead and made the move. Pete Carrol seemed high on Davis and he was having a good game until he hurt his groin. Gut tells me he will get a crack at full lead back duties, so had to risk it. Had already dropped Doug Martin for Blaine Gabbert. More to protect myself than anything else, as I have Goff with decent matchups all the way through, but Gabbert has a couple of AAA matchups and did not want him beating me during the playoffs, as I did not want Martin beating me by sneaking into my lineup. HE was a bad bust this year!
Thoughts on David Johnson? I am tempted to drop him for Mike Davis, but have to do that tonight and no news in the past week. Davis could be a playoff stud, so really considering grabbing him for DJ, but if I get a surprise next week of DJ coming back, could be the move that ends me???? Odds are he is not coming back, but still looking for input.
Thanks
With the right coaching hire, The Bears are next year's Rams, especially if the New HC wants to keep Vic Fangio and is willing to give him Assistant HC title.
And Chicago fans rejoice that we are not the worst run team in the NFL that we believed we were!
They are lucky it is only two games! 2nd Time those two have been in an all out brawl vs eachother.
I get the lucky dog only if Houston scores a few on Baltimore tonight without Hopkins going off, nor Woodhead. Have 25 Pt lead and the team I am playing has those three. Would love to see a few TD's by Braxton Miller to erase Baltimore points and give me a better chance. Hopkins worries me the most. That said, Baltimore will most likely key on him. He was on injury report all last week, so maybe he hurts something in his pregame warmups?
Regardless, I am in serious danger of missing the playoffs in that league despite being number one in points????? Been bitching about that for years, as every other money league I am in gives last Playoff spot to the team with most points not in playoffs. If it kills me this year, I will downright demand it next year.
Sorry! Sneaked by you this week.
I have to root for Steelers D. All there is too it. Then root for Houston to score like crazy on Baltimore, with only limited Hopkins points. With Fuller out, you would expect double coverage on Hopkins all night tomorrow!
