It was interesting to listen to CNBC’s interview, just now concluded, with Sean Parker who announced his Foundation’s $250 million grant to biotech research and development. Mr. Parker referred to the recent beat up of the biotech industry and made the statement, “Biotech people are in it for all the right reasons.” A refreshing comment considering the on-going undermining of NWBO management by some of our posters here.
OK - thank you TC
I may have missed something on the board and if so, enlighten me. In checking the SEC listings, I see that a Confidential Treatment Order was issued to NWBO - I hadn’t noticed this before and it has a 3.15.2015 date - a time when most of us were checking recent filings.
“Wow!!!!
I thought it was only me. I have had a series of posts come up missing in the past week.”
Your post was in response to my post responding to Adam. Very strange as it was a polite, acceptable post.
Another interesting NW post from recent Q&A
Mr. Woodford, as a globally respected financial figure, would you support stronger US legislation designed to protect small, innovative and disruptive companies (particularly biotech) seeking capitalization, from falling victim to manipulation devised to harm their chances of success and/or to enrich the pockets of manipulators due to nefarious activities?

Yes, Ann, that sounds sensible. Kind regards Neil

Here's a wild card: Consider that the NW saga is a "red herring."

Oh DoGood, I'm glad you brought up the Cramer video. I promised a neighborhood stockholder group that I would send them the link and forgot to follow through. Do you have the link?
TIA

Hmmmm……Intent to do harm, and to an entity attempting to do good. I should think that the Brand Management Department of any corporation would be quite worried if this applied to their corporation. What an ugly story should it ever hit the air waves.

You win the most poetic post of the day. Fitting for a tumultuous 2015.
Surprisingly enough, I don’t think it is management’s call. The company is prudent enough not to just throw out PR’s for the sake of making some noise in the industry. We’ll hear news when there can be no doubt - hence no vicious attacks. The operative word in NWBO’s presence is “disruptive.” My analogy in my post is a concern about the ongoing damage and escalation of verbal wars from delays.
I, too, am just checking in after the holidays. The tone of this MB has definitely intensified to near legal battles. Believing in the science NWBO is offering is one thing, the considerable delays in receiving news is of growing concern and it now appears these delays have presented opportunities for the escalation of attacks. Being from the hurricane part of the country, I am acutely aware that when the winds are damaging the sustaining of those winds cause almost complete destruction.
Good morning, Mr. Feuerstein…
For some time, I have wanted to ask you about one of your past tweets - some time in June 2014, I think, just before the Dr. Buzdar controversy. Now that you are present and accounted for, can you clarify what was meant by your tweet:
“It was a very good work day (you'll learn why tomorrow.) And now, a very good beer evening.”
Much appreciated.
CNBC just reporting that Shkreli (Turing Pharmaceuticals) has been arrested for securities fraud.
Thanks for the number....I just called as I remember getting paperwork for my NWBO holdings in my IRA account but not for my Asset Account in which I have a much larger holding. My discussion with the rep at Alliance Advisors, however, revealed that they couldn't find my name at all! The rep stated a supervisor would review and call back - they did call back and verified that they cannot locate my record. I am checking with my broker as I don't recall signing an OBO doc. I have voted stocks from other companies so this seems unlikely. Extremely strange.

“On October 16th, its share price fell 30% on no fundamental news, and in mid-September after the company released promising patient data for both its clinical trials its share price has unusually continued to trade lower. NWBO is investigating both these suspicious events and warns they are gathering price manipulation evidence.
Ironically, the mid-September time period coincides with several previous posters departure from this MB. Hmmm…
Actually, Afford, I don’t know. The referenced web site belongs to a real estate entity and I should think that they verify their stats and demographics before going to print. This appears to be a different property transaction than the 500 acre NWBO purchase just clarified by Flipper.

Fabulous!
Grand Central Cambridge, a Westin Home development, has the following highlight listed on their website soliciting investment inquiries in the Cambridge location. Their residential development intends to launch sometime in Spring 2016. The fact sheet lists various global businesses locating in Cambridge:
“• US stem cell research company Cognate Bioservices recently acquired a 550,000 sq ft site in Sawston, Cambridge, for its new European headquarters.”
Sorry - I wish I could be specific. It certainly wasn't at the beginning; however, before the survival graphs.
I wish I could rewind Linda’s bit about manufacturing moving to quality control for product release. I’ m hoping someone with a finer ear than mine picked that up and can interpret it correctly.
Was NWBO advertising the product or were they offering the availability of a trial participation?
It is my opinion that NWBO rejects any opportunity to participate in this orchestrated “Whack-A-Mole” game; they refuse to take the bait. Good for them and their supporters! The nefarious instigators are engaged in a battle with more powerful forces than they know.
Excellent! Passed this on to my contacts in the trade.
Correct me if I'm wrong; however, isn't Dr. Coukos now with the Ludwig Centre at Lausanne (Switzerland) wherein a number of clinical trials for ovarian cancer are taking place - including DC Vax.
The following from the Ludwig Centre's website:
A phase I/II trial of DCVax, being developed by Northwest Biotherapeutics, in patients with solid tumors (NCT01882946) - See more at: http://www.cancerresearch.org/cancer-immunotherapy/impacting-all-cancers/ovarian-cancer#sthash.tm5WBrvE.dpuf
Quote: "These dozens of hit articles certainly took their toll and caused enrollee reticence, but little did AF realize that with a long tail therapeutic effect, he was actually helping DCVax-L results mature. So that might be the ironic silver lining take away from that long drawn out kerfuffle when we look back on all this years from now."

Flip…Do you know if any of the NWBO presentations are under the AACR Scientific Conference’s Embargo Policy in that full information cannot be released until the presentation?
We’re all aware that Marnix Bosch is speaking at the AACR on April 20th (Spotlight Theater B); however, I was unaware - until now - that Linda was speaking at the World Vaccine Congress in Washington DC scheduled for April 7-9th where NWBO is a Showcase Sponsor. Perhaps this was already posted.
There may be some sell-off from the retail group, however, I look at this latest incident as bullish. To present NWBO as a minor player, disciplined by the credible and respected MD Anderson, is, in my opinion, a last ditch effort to minimize this game-changing biotech company as we approach the ITOC later this week and the AACR in April. The ITOC in Munich has as its major sponsors Bristol Myers Squibb and Merck; AACR anticipates almost 20,000 attendees next month. NWBO is presenting at both events. Yet, this commentator posits an unfamiliarity with NWBO and needs to look into the company - boulder-dash!
I find the timing of this unusual attention to NWBO quite telling. Why are the big guns reacting this way. The MD Anderson issue was actually thrown in for a (reason?) If someone can get the transcript, the sages on the board can discern the intent behind this attention. Suspicion abounds.
“News coming tomorrow,” perhaps. It is interesting that on NWBO’s website, neither FaceBook nor Twitter has been active since February 23rd/24th. A self-imposed silence or a suggested embargo of information….? Silence is confident; insecurity is loud.
I think you are correct RK. Update will be in March and momentum will strengthen up to the April event where the heavy weight personnel will be fully available.
Fabulous - and from someone who has earned his credibility.
