Much better!
You're right, an equipment business will not remain top player.
Which is why you start with equipment because that's the only legal thing you can sell to all 50 states.
Meanwhile you make regulatory equipment as well that will make state officials happy for an additional compliance machine in the industry.
Then you make inroads with the Canadian industry and get a stake in a potential multi billion dollar facility.
Then when the fed authorizes, you go all in and cross the 'green line' by getting hands on the actual product.
I get where you're coming from, it's just not very forward looking.
I'm looking to have some custom shirts made soon. I may have them make me one with the Growlife logo too.
Nice plain black shirt, Growlife logo in middle with green tones. I'd like it!
Haha sir yes sir.
These two stocks have their own sibling rivalry I wish would end. As is the nature of competition i suppose.
Talked to an old friend I ran into last night. He just started working for a broker. I was surprised not only did I have more stock knowledge, (shares, float, a/s, o/s), but he said he had heard of Growlife and several of his friends at the broker have small positions in it!
Additionally, I have another buddy who is really good with investments who said never to play with penny stocks - then I showed him my gains. He congratulated me for not listening to his advise... Ha.
I was floored to hear Mj stocks are buzzing with the official brokers. I even put in a good word for our sibling stock.
I could feel the same way about our other long hold. I didn't get in until 20's!
My thoughts are as they both go up, they'll offset each other on days where the other is down and keep the portfolio in constant green.
Time will tell. I started with a measly amount of cash, but octupling that means it's not so measly anymore, wooo!
T-dawg, welcome! I've been happy here, but have also been in since sub dimes.
I think you will be happy in the long term, as we're in a couple of the best here.
Sure makes for a fine long hold!
People take profits Friday afternoon, nature of the beast.
But if phot trends upwards instead of downwards at closing bell, that's some bullish bull charging right there.
You'll get there bud! These are hard to call. Why make 50k with 100k potential?
No need to fret over missed opportunities, there will be a chance for you to make more.
So much skill!
Called .20, maxed at .46 - let the memes and facepalms ensue.
And always 10-11 am. I keep telling prospective buyers to watch at that time. Clockwork!
Big enough to river dance on
The man must have been waiting near the end of his tenure when reelection wasn't an issue. Finally making good on previous promises to the people.
If he follows through, extra brownie points.
Ole wild Bill Clinton will still always be my favorite prez of this life time.
Barack may be a close second depending on how this plays out. Imagine if Romney was the figurehead right now (shudders).
Pfffft up several thousands first second of open.
Wonder where she lands today
irrational exuberance. 10 - 30 is not out of the question for those of us who hold Trtc though.
I get it, a lot of people are in love and can't stand hearing others talk bad about their girl. You see it on every board.
The market sometimes has a habit of taking your girl on a nice limo ride, seducing her and then shoving her out on the street when all is said and done.
No one should be unrealistic about ANY stock, but Trtc will have their success if they execute properly with the right authorizations and don't put themselves or shareholders at risk. From what I understand about the CEO, the potential is high.
don't hate the player hate the game.
Price will decline! Ermergerd!
Then price will rise! Such difficult logic.
He doesn't think "penny companies" can handle taxes, healthcare for employees, managing it themselves - you know, things they've already been doing for years.
Ha
Here is how to do it, partner up and make big waves - ride solo and your making pitter patters in the pool.
Wonder how many other companies wish they were on this big kahuna.
Watch management very closely, have a feeling we ain't seen nothing yet.
Yup, Denmark has a section in Copenhagen called Christiania which is like Denmark's "Little Amsterdam". It is well known for hash sales. Gets raided now and then, but mostly tolerated and everyone knows that's where to go.
The place is also a bit of a hippy commune (topic for another day). Residents in Christiania will trade goods or services instead of money.
Man, that's sad to hear.
I tried it once very young, never did it again until late high school and I really took to it for night time to deal with insomnia.
I was never big on homework, so I skated by on a's b's and the occasional c for those areas I felt no value in learning. This was with or without pot.
I tell ya something with a higher rate of hurting people's futures more than cannabis - young marriages. Kids getting married and having kids and starting families they can't afford, so they have to drop out of school and work.
Where is the education in either course? Where were the people to say wait to have children? Where were the people who should have said wait to smoke weed for you?
Now you don't see
Now you don't see
Why a concern?
That would be great!
While I agree that this is still only a speculative play for the Mj market, I also completely disagree that this is the only factor driving Trtc value.
Legitimate companies that have high capabilities to transfer their services to the Mj industry are BRIMMING with potential. Trtc with their hydroponics grows of legal produce will continue on that profit route until a green (or yellow) light is given.
It was a good run up, now everyone deals with the humbling reality of consolidation. It is a normal aspect of the market.
The truth? No one knows how long it will take to transfer over to the Mj industry. It could be a month, it could also be over a year. Lots riding on that NV license and if a public company will even be allowed to obtain an NV license to grow.
In the meantime, Trtc can stand on 2 feet in their legitimate business workings.
Has Trtc explored canada? It seems others have already set feet down there.
Imagine establishing a large scale facility to grow in Canada and then exporting to the US once allowed.
Hey Mazda I'll race you for 5k shares of PHOT.
Unless me and the mad scientist gotta rip the block apart and replace those piston rings you fried!
Hahaha - one of my favorite parts of this board is everyone has a more hardened sense of reality
Occasionally we all get over exuberant, but we've also been humbled through this roller coaster ride.
Board is a heck of a lot more intelligent and realistic than some others I post up.
All these hurdles Growlife is jumping right now are great! Think of the next Mj companies trying to enter the industry and all the crap they'll have to drudge through. That will be a past phase for Growlife in the next year or two.
Curious in reference to money and hemp in Trtc.
Hemp is not the same as Mj. It doesn't require the same doting efforts to grow and can be done so relatively easily.
The way I see it, the only way Trtc can make big money off hemp is getting an exclusive state license that very few will have access to.
Otherwise, when Feds step in and enable hemp to be grown by any farmer, well that would be a revenue stream Trtc simply couldn't compete with Americas farmers on. They would need to refocus Mj.
If that's true then it is even more epic.
LED's will cut down on power cost, they will cut down on heat.
Yet LED is significantly more expensive than HID from anywhere
Of 1.5 times to 4 times more expensive.
This means more money for pHOT and less electricity bills for fitx!
Perhaps this is what Sterling meant in his press release of 'expediting shipments of LED lights'.
But that's in Canadian dollars and that shouldn't count!
Kidding of course, just waiting to see what bashers come up with next.
Wonder if the grow facility will be LED, HID or both?
3 I am glad to have already had in my portfolio!
Good stuff happening in canadia eh?
Me and the witch doctor taught the monkeys and wolves to live together. We also recruited Mr. Lee to teach the monkeys tae Kwon doe.
Witch doctor brought some stuff that turns you into a deer when you smoke it, so we gotta be careful around the wolves!
A lannister always pays his debts.
I'm more of a Starke, one who's kingdom has been brightened with monkeys. I'll be sure to keep them clothed and fed
Look at you, now look at us.
Fill that gap baby!
Fill that gap baby!
Ziggy, thank you for being a reasonable voice for us who are investing in more than just Trtc.
It's a good day to be diversified.
Lax and wet cement. Last night we had some talks about cheap Chinese equipment. I will post later today on the 'other' board to ensure we keep these two top players separated.
Seems you can't have money without conflict. Mo money mo problems. Great time to be in the industry!
Just read the news.
Wowwww
Up to 1.3 million lbs - hopefully that place has intense security measures.
Such monopoly. Others are merely talking about growing, these guys are doing it!
Not too late, but try to buy on the dips that usually come between 10 and 11.
Of course most people wish they would have bought back in 2013 when the stock was between 4 and 6 cents. That's why we get comments of it hitting mid teens again.
However, getting in at a quarter or under and riding it up to a dollar in the next year should still get you a tidy profit
where are the sites selling this cheap Chinese equipment and what is the quality like?
If China produces quality systems that are worth it to carry, do you not think they would be included?
do 80% of the other grow products sold get bypassed as well?
I hold a few galaxy ballasts and they haven't failed me yet. I got a cheaply made HIDhut ballast one time that failed within 3 months.
It's a great question, but not one that causes me any worry. Will respond more in depth when I get home.
Cheaper prices = More accessibility for growers = more money for Growlife.
Let me put it this way-
There is a reason Derek pulled out of the supply side of this industry and a reason Sterling had a recent shipment of LED grow lights expedited.
Derek wasn't going to compete against an entity with deep roots already in supplying, he instead chose to focus his hydroponic grows, trying to enter the Mj industry in growing and the edible garden.
Similarly, Sterling chose to cut out their sgsensor grow monitoring branch which was behind schedule and not producing.
Both great CEOs and both have done a lot to cut out the fat of their companies to enhance focus.
Absolutely, the grass is not always green and the sun does not always shine for either of these two.
When I first heard of the increase, it was unsettling. For a stock that is bashed daily with the word "dilution" - to see the door open more for this sort of fear to enter was disconcerting.
So I voted no.
Then I sent some emails to their IR, talked to Kurt, saw what was going on with fitx, considered the opportunities and channels of revenue they plan to draw from and.... Honestly wish I would have voted yes.
Dilution is a great word for fear because most can only consider it as a negative. When you look at their plans for expansion and speak to IR about their performance goals in reference to awarding shares to officers - you get a picture painted with brighter colors.
I've heard claims they've been diluting the whole time. Well look at the pps then. Can we really say that diluting in the interest of company expansion is a bad thing for long term share holders?
Then there are some speculating the vote will be cancelled and the share increase rescinded...
I have personally benefitted from the equipment of this company and so I have bias there. For all they are involved in right now though, it is just extremely hard to deny the potential.
