Hi J,
I thought we were already (temporarily) permitted for 20k pd disposal, ooooor, maybe I was just dreaming. lol!
Anyway, I added a page of info next to CAVR link in the intro, for the SWDW, just click on it. Remove it if you don't want it there.
I think the protesters will run outta $$ to continue, sooner or later. Billy said he has put some up to date safety equipment in place, so I believe we will win out in the end. The Courts will require a sizable bond for the protection of the local water and truck traffic & noise will be regulated.

Oil field fight a real battle
Barry Porterfield Pauls Valley Daily Democrat
Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — The battle is more bruising than ever for a group of Pauls Valley area landowners fighting an oil field disposal operation being proposed at a site near their properties.
That looks to be the case even though a ruling came down Monday not in favor of these opponents of the commercial disposal site being proposed just east of PV.
What the landowners fear is the possible contamination of groundwater from the site sought by CAVU Energy Services.
For now a hearing on the company’s permit application is set to go as scheduled next week, specifically Aug. 22, unless an appeal is sought on this week’s ruling related to public notice.
It was that ruling from an associate law judge with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission which concluded CAVU’s legal notice published in newspapers like the Pauls Valley Democrat was sufficient public notification of the upcoming hearing on the merits of the case.
“They did everything they had to do according to Commission rules,” said Carol Price Dillingham, an assistant district attorney from Norman, referring to the company’s public notice.
She is in this case representing District 3 Garvin County Commissioner Johnny Mann, who along with Joe Menefee and Ian Ogilvie are the three main protestants in the case.
“You’ve got to play the game,” Mann said Monday after hearing the ruling.
“We got the short end of the stick, but we’re not done,” he said. “We’ll take it as far as we can take it.”
Dillingham said she will review the 20-page document and then consider any possible options for an appeal to the ruling. A five-day period is allowed for this process, she said.
Menefee and others have contended the proper notice for the hearing in the case had not been properly given to the more than 1,300 people who signed a petition opposing CAVU's permit application for the disposal site.
“For 1,342 people to sign this petition and have an interest in this and not get notified is incomprehensible,” Menefee said.
From the beginning this past spring the opposition's main concern is over what they claim is the potential threat to groundwater in the area from this proposed site, along with a nearby non-commercial saltwater disposal well also being sought by CAVU.
For Menefee the risks are simply too great to ignore.
“Everybody that's looked at this is convinced there will be contamination ultimately,” Menefee said, referring specifically to the commercial site. “They see problems with it as it's designed.
“We've got serious concerns about all kinds of contamination. There's no good that will come from what they want to do,” he said.
“For the sake of the environment this has got to be stopped. That's the whole nutshell of all this.”
It has also been Menefee's claim from the beginning of the fight that he won't stop in his opposition to the proposed disposal well.
“We don't intend to quit. I'm not going to give up on this issue,” he said.
“There's too much at stake for residents and for our county.”

SHELF REGISTRATION IN THE U.S.
16 August 2012
Today Samson filed a universal, or “shelf”, registration statement with the U.S. Securities and
Exchange Commission (the “SEC”). The idea behind such a registration, which is typically filed
with the SEC on Form S-3 every three years, is to put Samson in a position to sell securities in
the U.S. A shelf registration does not mean that the company has any present intention to sell
any or all of the securities being registered. It is more like a contingency plan that describes the
maximum number and the greatest variety of securities that Samson might want to sell
anywhere in the world over a three year period ,the SEC takes the position that Samson must
register all of its offerings in the U.S., even if the shares are all sold overseas. Samson already
has one shelf registration statement on file with the SEC which is due to expire soon; the current
filing is meant to replace it for the next three years. Without a shelf registration statement on file
we would have to go through a slow and unwieldy registration process every time we want to
sell shares in the U.S. or elsewhere.. Because the SEC staff has the right to review any
registration statement, and it does not guarantee any limit on the time it will take to complete
that review, the ability for Samson to sell previously registered securities “off the shelf” is
invaluable.
The new shelf registration statement is subject to review by the SEC but once it becomes
effective, subsequent issuances off the shelf are not reviewed. The new shelf allows Samson to
offer and sell, from time to time, up to $200 million of equity, debt or other types of securities
described in the shelf registration statement, or any combination thereof, in one or more future
public offerings. If and when Samson offers any securities under the new registration
statement, Samson will prepare and make available a prospectus supplement that includes the
specific terms of the securities being offered, the use of proceeds and other terms of the
offering.
Of course, to sell ordinary shares or other securities in Australia or another jurisdiction, Samson
still has to comply with the laws of that jurisdiction, as well as with the rules of the ASX and the
NYSE Amex (now renamed the NYSE MKT—see http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-
20120510-723133.html).

That is certainly interesting news, can you please provide us with the link to that information...
or are you just 'speculating'
...Hmm?

I just thought I would remind everyone of what Mr. Ali stated in the CC:
He gets paid in stock.
Has not sold any stock in a while, but can sell 1% of their stock every 90 days, but must make it public.
Very important for new eyes to do some good DD. Not a good idea to believe everything you read on a message board.

Heh-Heh,
I thought that name sounded familiar. I wasn't really paying attention except to find out who Cheri was.

I can't find it now, but I came across a photo of her & some others, concerning another company, and it looked like she was representing Oil&Gas. I'll keep looking for it.
So maybe she is on our side.... I dunno

Nicely said SE!
Hey Johnsyn...
True, they may have 1100 signatures, whether they are all legit or not... who knows, BUT! there are over 27,000 people that reside in Garvin County, SO,,, I'd say that the protesters are a few gallons short of a full barrel.
I'm guessing that our chances in court next week are pretty good!
(And let's NOT forget the obligatory: IMHO!) LOL

Thanks,
I think before I go any further, it's only right that I have a moment of silence and say a little prayer for all those who have lost so much money on this stock....

Dear Lord, please make it possible for all those sad traders who invested in the Flat Broke IPO and have lost so much $$, to do well in other stocks so that ultimately they can use their FB losses as a tax right off against mega gains from elsewhere.
Amen!
Ok Done!
NOW, BRING ON THAT NICKEL Flat Broke!!
Woooo Hoooo
Hey, Whazzup wif CAVR? I wanted to retire this year!
MB
FB... from a high of 45$ down to a low of $22+ change since it P-opened...
I think it's gonna be a looong time till I can turn the FB symbol in our ibox, right side up....... 'giggles'
It's looking like our little CAVR may just go the whole day with no trading action.... DANG!
I suppose that does mean that there's no 'dumping' of shares today... That's a plus! lol
UBRG just keeps pluggin along... waiting for positive news & the Q's.
Some one told me to checkout "SYAI", (Systems America), it's at 0.03 and talking about going to fully reporting. I haven't done any real DD yet.
Hope you all are doing great this week!
MB
Hi V63,
Thanks for the heads-up... I'll give this one a look. The little bit of this board that I have read this morning... was a pleasure to read w/everyone seeming to get along.
MB
LOL! Sorry to say Ur right, however I do NOT miss certain downer individuals on some of the boards. I enjoy a little 'tug-o-war' with the pro's & con's but would sometimes like to strangle some 'extreme' ppl.
I hope we get one helluva good PR from CAVR.... and sooner rather than later. Do you suppose we/they are waiting till the Q's are ready for posting? That would mean waiting another 3-3.5 weeks I believe. UGH!
Hope Ur having a great week too!
MB
Yeah, it's so quiet everywhere that I even clicked on Rainco to look for stuff and.....NUTHIN! I think you might have been the last one to post on their blog....MONTHS AGO! lol!
Maybe we should unearth that silly CAVR/UBRG rumor again just to get some debates going... That is one thing Rainco could be useful for, since that IS the connection between the two companies.
Hope you're having a good week...
MB
Mkendra, if the shares you held B4 the divi are non-restricted shares...then you received non-restricted divi's and can sell them at any time.
Nice open today for UBRG.
Anyone see any divi shares arrive at Scottrade yet?
Diver, I was @ my Scottrade office 3 wks ago, asked that exact question about the paper shares, I was told to bring it/them in to the office, sign the paperwork and turn them over to the Broker...NO PROBLEM!
Wonder who got the right info....Hmm.
MB
HI Johnsyn, I just wanted to jump in here concerning UBRG & CAVR.
I don't see that happening either, and I don't hear any other rumors connecting them.
But.... UBRG is NOT just a California only company, there is quite a bit going on with this company. Alot of people seem to believe innit.
UBRG owns 49% of NDR Energy Group, which is a marketer and seller of natural gas to 22 major utility companies across the U.S.
They incude customers include Southern California Gas Company, Pacific Gas & Electric, CenterPoint Energy Resources, Baltimore Gas & Electric, Memphis Light Gas & Water, Duke (Ohio & Kentucky), Michigan Consolidated and National Grid. Our gas suppliers include EDF Trading, Chevron Texaco, Conoco Phillips, Chesapeake Energy Marketing, and Anadarko.
MB
Personally, I expected this sell-off today, and maybe thru to the end of the week. I'm guessing that there were a mess-o-ppl who bought recently, to qualify for the divi 'date of record'. They don't want to have any $$'s in this stock right now... but they were more than happy to collect the free shares, then sell their base and move on; they don't care about the CC.... or the 'chill' for that matter!
but hey, wuddoIkno... this is only JMO!
Long & strong for UBRG!

SSN OPERATIONAL UPDATE, 7-12-12
DENVER & PERTH, Australia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Samson Oil & Gas Limited (SSN.AX) (NYSE AMEX: SSN) provides operational advice.
HAWK SPRINGS PROJECT, GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING
Spirit of America US34 #2-29, (SSN 100% WI)
As previously advised, the Spirit of America #2 well intersected 61 feet of pay as interpreted by the electric logging program, and its subsequent analysis in the Permo-Pennsylvanian section.
The frac equipment is onsite, and pumping operations are expected to commence this evening.
The initial frac will stimulate the lower perforations at around 10,000 feet, comprising 31 feet of interpreted log pay. The second stage at around 9,300 feet will stimulate a single 7 feet of interpreted log pay and the third stage at around 9,200 feet will stimulate three sandstones with 23 feet of interpreted log pay.
All three stages are expected to be completed in the next 48 hours; however, this schedule is dependent on being able to latch on and relocate both the bridge plug and packer to each of the subsequent stages. Given that the well will be flowed back between each stage, frac sand could be deposited on the bridge plug, making this operation difficult. It is therefore possible that the tubing will be required to be tripped out of the hole, thus extending the time required to complete the three stages.
If an adequate rate is obtained from this frac, then there would be many opportunities to pursue, both within the SOA prospect itself (such as drilling the Clipper location immediately adjacent, and subsequently the twenty-four, 40-acre spaced wells within this prospect) and in the 24 seismically defined prospects within the project area. These prospects have substantially identical seismic properties to the SOA #2 prospect, which has now been proved to be generated by porosity development within the Permian section. Some of these prospects are located at substantially shallower depths, and could provide a consequential improvement in reservoir quality.
Samson believes that the SOA #2 results thus far have been encouraging although future investment in this particular project requires a favorable result from the frac.
Defender US33 #2-29H, (SSN 37.5% working interest)
Formal approval has now been received from the joint venture partners to work-over the well which is completed in the Niobrara. This operation has two operational objectives. First, to ensure that the complete horizontal lateral is clean of sand and debris, and second, to change out the jet pump which was on rental, for the joint venture owned rod pump. The well remains shut in pending this workover which will commence following the completion of activities on Spirit of America #2.
Samson’s Ordinary Shares are traded on the Australian Securities Exchange under the symbol "SSN". Samson's American Depository Shares (ADSs) are traded on the New York Stock Exchange AMEX under the symbol "SSN". Each ADS represents 20 fully paid Ordinary Shares of Samson. Samson has a total of 1,996 million ordinary shares issued and outstanding (including 231 million options exercisable at AUD 1.5 cents), which would be the equivalent of 88.25 million ADSs. Accordingly, based on the NYSE AMEX closing price of US$1.11 per ADS on July 12th, 2012 the Company has a current market capitalization of approximately US$107 million. Correspondingly, based on the ASX closing price of A$0.054 on July 12th, 2012, the Company has a current market capitalization of A$105 million. The options have been valued at their closing price of A$0.038 on July 12th, 2012 and translated to US$ at the current exchange of 1.017 for purposes of inclusion in the US$ market capitalization calculation.
