Go-kitesurf I agree 100%
Blue, you are wrong. SKS never said that. He said he hopes that by Spring time he could be there, never the Q4 of 2003.
SPIN I believe SKS said that in the last CC. You can access that on the anchor page at Uncleaver's web site.
SPIN as your friend I know that you are not posting to manipulate the stock. I know that. What I think you are doing however is riding an emotional roller coaster and not looking at the bigger picture.
We know that Intel is paying Wave per board between $.50 and $1.50. SkS has already stated that. We know that some boards have already been shipped (Intel said that) To me that means there is some revenues this quarter no matter what. That's just one customer. How about IBM customers?
The bigger picture is that TPMs are going into the market place. And that means trusted services will be purchased. The purchase of those trusted services will be AFTER the CPUs are in the customers hands and will be a lagging revenue. So, if the boards were shipped this quarter, which some have, and if the trusted services are subcriped to in Q1 of 2004, you will not see those revenues until May 15th. Exactly what kind of guidance were you looking for when there has probably been zero trusted services purchased so far. Now come May 15th, I would expect that Wave will be able to give you the guidance you are looking for but until then, it's probably a no go for what you want to hear.
In the long run YES. Day isn't over yet
Again, you like to put words into my mouth. I did not call you stupid you called yourself stupid by THINKING I called you that when if fact I wasn't even close to thinking that.
What does deleting duplicate posts have to do with banning a poster? cpa, time to stop putting words into my mouth of things I did not say. If you continue to lie about what I said then I will delete those posts.
MIG, couldn't have said it better myself except for the $1.00 comment. I don't believe you will ever see $1.00 again in my opinion.
cpa do you have a problem with the english language or do you just like to make things up?
Please post my post where I said I would ban you and Blue. It's about time some truth comes out of your posts instead of made up posts that you think someone said. Please point to the post.
eamonnshute, although I agree with you that there will be revenues come May 15th I believe they will be small. I still think the MAJOR revenues will come to be in the 2nd half of 2004.
Blue, because you are my friend, I have tried to help you. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
I'm through. You just go on thinking what you want to think, and lament everyday, every minute about Intel's mobo, volume, whatever. I'm relaxing and waiting patiently for the payoff that I feel is coming.
To each his own.
I see progress, you see delay. I see millions of TPMs out there and trusted services being bought by e-commerce and you see nothing because no one can tell you how many of this and that have been shipped in the past 2-4 weeks.
Nothing I say will change what you feel, and the anger you feel for management because of things you hold them totally responsible for.
I have a tremendous amount invested in this company and I could sell tomorrow and go somewhere else if I thought Wave was at a dead end. I don't and I think Wave has finally reached the point where the market has caught up to us, the world needs us and we are being deployed as we speak. Intel, IBM, NSM, HP are just a couple of reasons you should be feeling giddy instead of insecure about this investment.
I'm through. I am not going to change your way of thinking so why try anymore.
Sincerely,
eamonnshute, again, there are those that only see what they want to see short term. This demo will be watched by many. Heck, it's in a MasterCard booth for gosh sake.
In Wave's release today.
Who can't understand this sentence?
Steven Sprague, Wave's president and CEO, said, "We can now clearly see the growing momentum for trusted computing in the marketplace, and we expect substantial growth in volumes over the course of the next four quarters.
Seems kind of simple to me.
With the SEC looking very closely at companies and CEOs, why would SKS stick his neck out there and say something like this unless he knows it will come true?
He gave us all a wonderful gift today. The turtles that will make it to the sea understand.
sks's e-mail address. ssprague@wavesys.com
trust, to early for institutions. But at the CC a year from you will hear them.
From the Dow Jones Newswire
Over the next four quarters, the company expects "substantial" volume growth.
What doesn't anyone understand about the word substantial?
You all want guidance. You were given guidance today but most can not see it.
Wave will have SUBSTANTIAL volume growth over the next 4 quarters. Substantial. Doesn't that tell you all something?
bonnie no need to delete it. If you are a man of your word you're gone already so why delete your last post?
SPIN a couple of things. The AH does not mean much in my book. We have had many AH trades in the past that never meant beans the next day and I don't think today's AH will mean much tomorrow either.
Second, sometimes quiet can be louder than a thunder storm. Think about it.
Many have critized management about fluff PRs. Wave was quiet today. I think they are telling you something loud and clear. Listen and maybe you can hear what they are saying.
According to NASDAQ, the total AH trades totaled 74k With close to 2 million shares traded today there are some here that think the sky is falling. That is so far from what is actually happening, that it is painful to read.
Tomorrow is another day and guess what, the sun will still shine and the stars will stay where they are, and low and behold, the sky WILL NOT FALL.
Bluefang, I have no problem letting anyone say what they want to say as long as they stay within IHUBs rules. I have been getting e-mails and PMs from posters saying that you and CPA keep repeating the same thing over and over again. I tend to agree with the others in the community about yours and CPA's postings.
Just want you, and everyone else to know, that something that is repeated over and over again is not allowed on IHUB. I have been very lenient regarding this policy. I will not be in the future.
SPIN, I am sorry to see you relying on two posters on an internet chat board. I think you made a very big mistake today. That is my opinion.
Bluefang, if Wave secures 15-20-25 million dollars between now and the end of the year and that gives them enough money for all of 2005 with revenues, you better believe that would be very bullish and you would never see $3.00 again in my opinion.
SPIN, if that happens I probably will. Will you?
ddd, sks said financing by year end. Wouldn't it be sweet if it happened tomorrow or Monday and all the sellers that sold after hours today got holding the bag?
cpa, the needs were there in OUR eyes but not the streets or the Worlds. We knew, but they did not. They are just now catching up to us.
SKS was the forward looking individual that brought the two together whether you want to admit it of not.
BTW, stock still going up.
cpa, you keep believing in the boogy man and I will keep believing that this is a once in a life time investment.
For some reason I don't think I will meet you in the line at the bank, making any deposits from this investment.
BTW, the stock is going up today and the day has three more hours to go.
So, let me get this straight the NEEDS TODAY are the same as two years ago at 9/11? Is that what you are saying?
cpa, who were the employees? Data entry personel, night crew or management. There is a difference no?
I always was taught to believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear. I am glad you are basing your decisions on gossip and hearsay which means zero in what is happening with this company in my opinion.
cpa how can you say with a straight face that the security issues today are the same as two years ago? I think this tells us a lot about your understanding of Wave's technology and the market for such.
VC, things are indeed good.
Mig, watch it, you are starting to believe what I have believed in for a long time now. LOL
I like this statement a lot.
"Because this new security standard is supported by the PC industry, it could become a successful means for payment, strong authentication, e-signature and others applications on the Internet."

Wave Systems and Caisse d'Epargne To Demonstrate Secure
E-Commerce Capabilities Using Trusted Personal Computers
LEE, Mass. & PARIS--Nov. 13, 2003--
-- A First For The EU PC Market, Leading Companies Demonstrate
How Standard Trusted PCs Can Deliver Next Generation
E-Commerce Capabilities
-- Demonstrations To Be Held at Cartes IT Security 2003, Paris
Wave Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: WAVX - www.wave.com), a leader in
delivering trusted computing applications and services, and Caisse
d'Epargne, one of the largest and most visible French national savings
banks, will demonstrate a new secure Internet payment application
using commercial, off-the-shelf secure personal computers, at the
Cartes IT Security trade show, 18-20 November, Exhibition Centre,
Paris Nord Villepinte.
In a first for the European computer market, Wave Systems will
demonstrate secure e-commerce capabilities using a standard personal
computer equipped with a semiconductor device called a trusted
platform module (TPM). Desktop and notebook PCs today can be equipped
with hardware TPMs, which let users protect critical data and
information within the PC. Wave sells a portfolio of secure
applications, services and infrastructure, the EMBASSY(R) Trust Suite,
that work with PCs equipped with TPMs.
Wave and Caisse d'Epargne will demonstrate a trusted PC-based
secure payment service that is until today only available to consumers
using GSM standard mobile phones. This is potentially a significant
technology and market breakthrough as Europeans demand strong
authentication mechanisms to access Internet services.
Caisse d'Epargne was the first bank in France to launch a strong
authentication service on the Internet called ID-TRONIC. The service,
certified by VISA, is used to certify payments and also to sign
contracts. Caisse d'Epargne has chosen TPM-based computers as a
second means of payment and strong authentication because they answer
three critical criteria: large-scale deployment, ease of use and no
extra cost to the consumer for the service.
In the TPM enabled secure payment demonstration at Cartes, Caisse
d'Epargne will use the assymetric key encryption security capability
available through the personal computer's TPM and Wave EMBASSY(R)
Trust Suite client / server applications to strongly authenticate the
user as an approved purchaser. This demonstration will be available at
two booths at Cartes, the Cartes Bancairre booth, 3F041, and the
MasterCard booth, 4N067.
"We are pleased to partner with Wave Systems to implement this
application using TPM enabled secure personal computers and Wave's
EMBASSY Trust Suite and middleware, because it has been very easy to
integrate with our ID-TRONIC system," said Jacques Schuhmacher,
director of e-commerce, Caisse d'Epargne. "Because this new security
standard is supported by the PC industry, it could become a successful
means for payment, strong authentication, e-signature and others
applications on the Internet."
"This demonstration is a first step towards showing how secure
e-commerce can become an everyday reality in the EU personal computer
market," said Bruno Leconte, Wave vice president, European Operations.
"Today, Europeans who go online are looking for very secure systems
that are easy to use. This is what our EMBASSY Trust Suite product
portfolio is all about. With the expected large-scale proliferation of
trusted PCs in Europe, as supplied by the major vendors, Wave will
continue to aggressively develop trusted services capabilities to
raise the value of these computers."
Customers who would like a demonstration at Cartes should make an
appointment with Leconte by contacting him at
bleconte@wavesys-emea.com.

Actually, no I can't. Do you think we would be where we are today with Intel without SKS?
Bluefang, that may be yours and CPA's view, but I doubt it's the view of the majority of Wave's shareholders. I doubt many would still be holding the stock with views like yours and CPAs. Heck, CPA doesn't even own the stock at this point in time. Either does hhh, yet these two seem more concerned about the company than the actual shareholders. Why is that?
Bluefang, in all honesty I believe if we went to $10.00 tomorrow you would be here lamenting why we are not at $20.00.
You have to give it some time. Major revenues will not happen until next year, if fact, probably not until the second half of the year. I repeat MAJOR. Are we going to hear the same from you until then?
Your whining and crying are not going to change anything. There is nothing wrong with the volume. How soon you forget the days we averaged 100K a day. What's wrong with 500K?
The price will happen when it happens, all your posts do is put a lot of stress on those that may actually listen to your every word.
Give it a rest, Please.
Sincerely,
cpa, the past is the past. There was no Intel in the picture in the past. Oh, there might have been, when SKS was 'lying' to us but because of NDAs, we did not know.
Crow is about to be served in my opinion. Stay tuned.
Blue patience is a virtue.
tampa, maybe we will have some answers in less than 24 hours, who knows?
hhh got a broken finger. Make your own calls if you are so interested.
Folks, let's stay on Wave please. Political and murder trials have nothing to do with Wave and are SPAM on this board.
Thanks for the co-operation.
