my apologies, I was away most of last Friday and didn't get to the TA on the OS. I will remedy that today and post an update in the iBox. Thank you cashflo for your kind words.
.........al
chunga- absolutely, like it or not they always get my opinions. LOL, every once in a while I get a phone call from one of their offices thanking me for my input. Little do they know it just encourages me to write more.

We read about in the press once in a while, but we never get the real nor the whole story. The lack of adequate equipment for the armies in Iraq is real and I believe the severity of it is hidden for the most part. My daughter has just returned from Iraq last Dec. When I want to know anything about how the "troops" are doing I ask her and her comrades. They are the troops and know more about the reality of the situation than some bureaucrat at the pentagon. Reports from the press or the gov't on how the troops are doing get their info from officials that have an agenda or a career to protect. A reporter attempting to give real insight on reality gets barred from the inner circle where news is distributed and the editors back here know this and play along with "company" policy.
Right now we have a battle going on in Washington over funding the wars. As a loyal subject of our governing bodies, I feel it's my duty to constantly give my input to my congressman and senators on the issues at hand. I have my own sentiments, but on this issue I have written to my daughter and asked her to get the real story on how the troops feel about this issue. The real troops, not the ones with careers to protect by toeing the company line. The real troops, the ones dying in the streets, not pushing pencils in a palace in the green zone. The input I want to give my congresspeoples will come from the ones affected the most by their decisions. Just my 2¢

GM howdy- since you brought it up, no, I will not call and talk to Colby. I did that many years ago several times. He was always upbeat and raved about the company's future and how well they were doing etc etc. 4 reverse splits later, from what I see posted, he's still spewing the same crap. Does that say anything about credibility? But I thought from your previous postings that you had some kind of special relationship with Alex and that you were in communication with him several times. With such good rapport I didn't think it would be such a big problem getting a copy of one little amendment. I am not afraid to apologize when I'm wrong. Get me what I asked for and I will apologize and post it for all to see. Somehow, though, I don't think you'll be able to do it because I don't believe it even exists. 100 billion authorized as linked from the company's own document, and yes I do know it is an UN audited financial. Talk to you again this evening.
.......al
Howdy- welcome back. I was worried that you may have lost the url to the board. Have you asked Alex yet for a copy of the amendment reducing the AS down to that 30 billion listed on pinksheets.com? You may want to try Colby. A few posters here have spoken to him and reported he was very upbeat on the company's prospects. Maybe he would send you a copy of it.
......al
Ericvan- done. Does that chart update daily?
Ericvan- the company's own unaudited financials from last year have the AS at 100 billion. I don't know where pinksheets.com gets their info and I don't know if the company reduced the number.

Superbee- the reason I put that out like that is that in watching sports for so(too) many years, I think there is a difference in the way MLB and the NFL handle endorsements. Perhaps I'm wrong but I get the impression that in the NFL the teams as individual entities have the control over endorsements rather than the league. As opposed to MLB where the league seems to have the most say on baseball product issues. I'm sure the gang at the company has far more knowledge about this than we at this level and has the situation well in hand. Isn't it amazing the confidence we all seem to have in a pinkie?
........al
superbee- something about the NFL and the way the league is managed thru the teams owners, it may be a better tactic to contact your favorite team directly instead of the league.Example- I have been watching the news for all these urns and caskets with baseball team logos coming out this spring. I've been a (insert fav team ) fan all my life and I think I would be interested in possibly being buried in a XXXXXXX casket when my time comes. Is anything like this coming down the road soon?
Send something like this to the teams directly. If they get enuff of them the league will take notice. Just my 2¢
.........al
chunga- just a thank you for all these articles you find and post that always seem to be in the back sections of mainstream media. It seems I find better coverage right here on this board than anywhere else.
.......al
Superbee- question for CC
Will the previously announced share buyback initiative in any way interfere with or delay plans to expand the product line?
Thanks
...........al
PS- I hope you don't mind doing it this way. I think it will save a lot of duplication and make many more questions available during the hour period.
firehawk- welcome to the board. Do your research and ask some questions. There are many varying opinions here and most will be happy to share with you. GL2U
..........al
mcanes- agree on the manipulation, but it is kind of difficult to do without the ability to naked short. That investor with 200m shares could affect the price negatively when he tried to sell all at once. But when he goes to buy back in, how high of a pps will that much demand cause? Just food for thought.
..........al
JBJD- it smells like dilution. I'll give a call to the TA on Friday and update the iBox with the latest figures. Try and not make the mistake of averaging down. I know it's tempting, but even big money managers don't recommend it on large caps.
...........al
carwoman- Hi, most of what I remember is vague and don't ask specific companies because most don't exist anymore mainly due to mergers and buyouts. Most junior exploration companies either go under or get bought out by one of the majors. All things being equal, in a gold buying frenzy some and certainly not all junior explorers shoot up exponentially to the POG. The trick is finding the ones that do shoot up. In searching for them look at the management team as close as the assay results, they are equally important. In answer to your question, it would not be unusual to see a 25¢ stock hit $20, or a $3 stock go way over $50. If you want to look close enough to what happenned during that time period, you will find many more than one or two examples of share price increases similar. Once again the key is finding the ones that will fly, and that is never an east task.
........al
overhead- thanks for stopping by. Any suggestions you may have will be appreciated. Please stop by often as your insights and opinions are always welcome here.
...........al
stingray- easy on the spelling mistakes. I haven't found a keyboard yet that can spell.LOL
........al
joelegs- thanks for your input. Any reduction in share counts by any company is usually something to tell the whole world with a PR as it is always welcomed by the investing public. Just like this company did not to long ago:
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/070321/0229379.html
It's usually the dilution, either by the company itself or thru debt financing, that they try to hide from investors. You are right also that many people either do not know how or don't even try to read financial statements and sec filings. With the passage of the Sabanes/Oxley act more and more companies have chosen to go dark making it much harder to gather good relevent info.
Thanks for coming by and Happy Easter to you too
.........al
camguy- you are correct. That runup in share price was just a short time before the dot com bust. It seemed the whole otcbb world was being lifted all at once. I was fortunate enuff to be in this one and another TEXN which is now defunct. That is also a very good analogy with the car companies. Thanks for stopping by with your comments. GL2U
.......al
ichiroo- thanks for coming by with your input. I have been to howdy's link at pinksheets.com. Altho I do go there at times, it's not one of my favorite places to go for dd as many times I've found their info seriously out of date. It is not beyond the realm of possibilities that they have reduced the authorized to 30 billion. I have looked in several places to try and verify that and have found nothing. Howdy is in close communication with the company. If they have amended, I'm hoping they'll send him a link. GL2U
.......al
howdy- Ah yes, I think I know what you are trying imply here. Just because they did a R/S and changed the ticker symbol that it's a different company. I would agree with you if it was a totally different company and management merging into this one with a totally different product. But the management is the same and the product is the same. Either way though the articles of incorporation do not change the authorized shares just because of a R/S and ticker symbol change. To change the articles of incorporation a meeting must be held and it must be voted on. Wouldn't you think an amendment like that, decreasing the authorized shares by over 2/3 would be cause for a major PR? Write to Alex and ask him to send you a copy of the amendment decreasing the authorized shares to 30 billion and I will happily post it.
...........al
howdy- the document I reference is an unaudited financial put out by the company itself. If you read it I'm sure you did notice the name of the company is WI-FI TV, INC. I am quoting from an UNaudited financial, but why would they lie about something like that? I would think if they wanted to lie about it, they would seriously low ball that number. I do give them credit for not trying to hide it from investors. Let's see what others come up with when they review the document.
.......al
Have a nice holiday weekend.
Anyone, a little help please- would someone or better yet several people kindly go to the url link I have posted here and post back whether you think it refers to this company or not. Howdy and I have a slight difference of opinion on whether it is this same company or not. Pages 3 and 17 refer to the 100 billion authorized shares. And if it is not this company please let me know so I can delete the reference to the 100 billion authorized shares.
Thanks to all

Howdy- looks like we have a difference of opinion, which is what happens sometimes on forums like this.Perhaps someone else can check this out and report back their views on this document. I'll ask.
.....al
howdy- I have permission from the poster to pass this on. You have said in the past that you speak to Alex quite regularly. It's just an idea and may not be in their gameplan, but if you pass it on to them all they can say is no.

howdy, first, cut the BS. I haven't used the delete button here yet and do not want to start with you. As much as I'd enjoy a little banter back and forth with you, when I took the job as mod on this board I gave up that luxury. Sorry to send this in public, but you don't accept PMs from me. The link I gave you was working fine for me and still is. You can get there from pinksheets.com. Here's how:
http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/finance.jsp?symbol=WTVI
There's the box there under the heading finacial reports. The last link in the box reads "Annual Report". Click on it to take you to the pdf file.
Please send your apology in a PM. The public board is not the place for it.
........al
Howdy- The link to that financial report was not provided to me by anyone. I've had it in a WTVI file for quite a while. If anyone ever did send me any info on the company that I was unaware of I would do my best to verify it before making it accessible to the board. If not, another option would be to post it as a rumor and ask for help from the good people that post here on the chance that someone else can verify. My objective here is not to bash this company or the stock. It is to facilitate the free flow of information to assist people in making a decision about whether to invest in it. btw I am still waiting for the smash and grab definition.
.......al
Howdy- I clicked on that link several times. It took me to the same place. It is the unaduited yearly from WTVI. I don't know where it's taking your browser but mine goes to the same place. The info is there. In August of last year they voted to expand the authorized shares to 100,000,000,000. Then they had to back date it to a year before that because of some converible debentures that were issued that exceeded the authorized. If that link is still not working correctly for you, try getting there from pinksheets.com.
..........al
harpdog- a parabolic rise in any company's share price will almost always come back down rather quickly. And I am a believer that gaps must be filled eventually. The slow but steady gain is usually a sign of shares going to strong hands and much preferable in my opinion.
.....al
rwscott- I'm going to call the TA today or tomorrow for an update, but the last accurate count we have from the TA is from March 27- OS 575,081,997
......al
howdy- good morning, thank you for the link to the press release, I'll make a place on the iBox for them today and get it put there. Here is the link to the 100 billion shares authorized. pages 3 and 17 both reference it.

I want to put this out in the open for all to see. I am posting it once and will not post this again as long as I have a position of responsibility on this board. I will add it to the iBox for reference. As many already know I am not a fan of this company nor it's management. I am posting the reasons now to satisfy anyone's curiosity in the future. I do not want to use my position on this board to continually berate this company and it's management, nor to disagree with everyone that has positive feelings about the company. It's your hard earned money, do with it as you will. I will do my best for all here to try to keep all information about this company as current and accurate as possible.
Many years ago I invested in this company. At that time is was under a different name and symbol. It ended up being a 700 bagger. Out of what is probably a dual sentiment, one being my largest percentage gain ever in the market and two it might possibly happen again, I have watched this company ever since covering a span of about 7-8 years. Unfortunately all I have observed during this time has not been shareholder friendly. The management of the company has not changed, but the name and stock symbol has changed several times. They have done 4 reverse splits in the past 5-6 years. A fairly constant stream of press releases is issued to keep interest in the company alive while millions of shares are dumped into the float, many by convertible debenture holders that have traded their cash for company shares. The authorized shares are now 100 billion. I'm sorry but in my opinion a company that operates like this holds the interests of their shareholders in pretty low esteem. In a nutshell that is why I am down on this company.
I wish you well now and in the future
...........al
TFN - good post on the supply demand thing with the shares. We've all seen some strange things happen when a buying frenzy is roaring.
......al
"if there is a buyback"- I've touched on that before also. I'm all for it but if it's a choice between spending money buying back stock and expanding the production and product lines, ditch the buyback. JMHO
..........al
superbee and tina- I think I am the guilty party on bringing up the reverse split thing. I think it was eons ago, LOL. I brought it up as a necessity if management wanted to go to the big nasdaq board. With the OS shares here and even with sales going way beyond expectations, the company is still only operating in a niche market. Granted they have a virtual lock on it and that is a good thing. But just think for a minute. Is their market large enough to sustain a market cap of around $10 billion? If they get to the otcbb and stay there all well fine and dandy. If they have higher expectations to a larger exchange they will almost have to R/S. I'm not knocking the company. If they get to a market cap of $10 billion without a R/S I am one happy guy with a new rolls royce in my garage every year LOL. The practicalities of it bring me back to reality quickly. Apologies, sometimes I just think too much- it hurts my head too. LOL
...........al
kkgd- yes I'm aware of the nuts and bolts of it but the really finer points are for the accountants. I do know it only applies to losses and not gains. I have a similar situation I'm contemplating right now with some canroyals. Tax law can sure be a pain at times. I'd hate to try and advise anyone to try such a thing on a sub penny like this one. Volatility can be a significant factor.
........al
harpdog- you are correct on the 30 day loss thing. Playing it can be the cause on a lot of anxiety, tho. . Within a day or 2 I'll be updating the iBox with some current share counts. I hope that will help you make your decision on what to do. I'll send you a pm when I have it done. GL2U
