WTF??????? Larry King Live???? I am dismayed with what this company is trying to do. LKL is one of the lower rated shows on cable and just exactly how many 18-25 year olds do you think watch LKL. What a joke. I am waiting for someone to defend this development.
BKHM looking good out of the gate. eom

Dobson Communications Extends Wireless Supply Agreement with Nortel Networks; Extension Follows Completion of EDGE Technology Deployment in Rural Markets
Business Wire - September 01, 2004 09:01
DALLAS, Sep 1, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Dobson Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:DCEL), a leading U.S. provider of wireless telephone services to rural and suburban markets, has extended an existing wireless network supply agreement with Nortel Networks (NYSE:NT)(TSX:NT) for an additional two years, the companies announced today.
This extension follows the recent completion of Dobson's EDGE (Enhanced Data for GSM Evolution) technology deployment in 16 states across the nation. EDGE enables Dobson's subscribers to access a range of advanced wireless services, including wireless Internet access, e-mail, corporate databases, m-commerce applications, and multimedia messaging.
Nortel Networks, Dobson's primary core network and radio access provider, supported Dobson's deployment of GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications), GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) and EDGE technology in 13 states. With the completion of the EDGE deployment, Dobson and Nortel Networks completed a three-year supply agreement.
The two-year extension includes the deployment of additional GSM, GPRS and EDGE equipment. Capital expenditures related to the extended supply agreement are consistent with Dobson's previously announced capital expenditure plans for 2004 and 2005.
Under the extension, Dobson plans to upgrade its network quality and coverage in a number of markets, including those in northern Michigan that it recently acquired from NPI-Omnipoint Wireless, LLC. Dobson also plans to upgrade network capacity in specific markets in response to increased wireless traffic over the next two years. In addition, the two companies plan to collaborate on the field-testing of third generation (3G) Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) technology beginning in early 2005.
"Dobson is committed to providing the most advanced wireless services to its markets, and Nortel Networks is a key partner in helping us achieve that goal," said Tim Duffy, senior vice president and chief technical officer for Dobson.
"Because Nortel Networks has been providing wireless infrastructure to Dobson since 1995, we understand the unique challenges involved in successfully expanding its network to deliver the same advanced wireless services to rural businesses and consumers that are now widely available in urban areas," said Alan Pritchard, vice president, global marketing, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Nortel Networks.
"It is a privilege to continue working with Dobson as the primary supplier in its nationwide network," Pritchard said. "In addition, the upcoming 3G trial for Dobson will draw on the experience we have gained from other UMTS network implementations for service providers in the North American market."
The 3G trial will include UMTS Release 4 (R4) technology, which is the first step of the evolution of the circuit switched network to a packet switched network.
EDGE is an International Telecommunication Union (ITU) approved 3G radio access standard. EDGE is designed to deliver packet data over 400 kilobits per second - an average of up to three times faster than currently available on GPRS - for Web browsing, streaming audio and video, multimedia messaging, location-based services, m-commerce, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and other wireless services.
Nortel Networks EDGE technology allows GSM operators to offer high-speed data services to end users, serve more wireless customers, and free up GSM network capacity to accommodate additional voice traffic. In addition, Nortel Networks EDGE solution improves network performance with its power amplifier advantage that increases the speed of downloading data. Nortel Networks EDGE technology also provides larger EDGE coverage area from the base station transceivers (BTS) with the same quality of service compared to competitor products
Nortel Networks has designed, installed and launched more than 300 wireless networks in over 50 countries. Nortel Networks was the industry's first supplier with wireless networks operating in all advanced radio technologies (GSM/GPRS/EDGE, CDMA2000 1X and 1xEV-DO, UMTS and WLAN), and is the only end-to-end provider of all next generation wireless solutions.
Dobson Communications is a leading provider of wireless phone services to rural and suburban markets in the United States. Headquartered in Oklahoma City, the Company owns wireless operations in 16 states. For additional information on the Company and its operations, please visit its Web site at www.dobson.net.

DCEL They have news, extended contract with Nortel.
QBID is edging upward. eom.
Do most of you think AUTQ was a one day wonder, or does MDGN'S 2nd day run give any hope. I will be watching it close just in case.
AUTQ, coming down a bit because mms got caught with their pants down and they are covering??
SYTR on watch. Nite and Schwab on bid. Low vol so far, but its all been buys.
Some of today's losers MRMN!!
Dont worry BB, this is my last post on this --------- board.
I usually do not engage in this type of conversation, but have been a little frustrated when I post what happened to me on a stock so that my fellow traders could use my experience to hopefully make a better decision about how to handle this stock. That is one reason why we're here, right?? Oh well, maybe someone listened and either got out, or lightened their position and are if anyhting looking to get back in now with profit under their belt instead of being dismayed that their gains have been erased and might even be down now. THIS IS MY FNAL POST ON THIS SUBJECT.
Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its not true and there is no explanation needed. I tried to sell MRMN last week and had $33 taken at one point, then the bid lowered. I then went lower and had $85 I think it was taken, then the bid went lower, not to climb the rest of that day.
Some folks never learn. Maybe as a long term play, but I choose not to stay married to any stock for very long.
Thank you!!! Someone who at least will tell the truth. You know, when you own something, and you put the blinders on, it will cost you to lose money. I have been just trying to educate people about the set up of this stock from a Lev 2 standpoint. I dont understand why some choose to bash me. I owned several hundred thousand of this stock and luckily got out with a nice chunk because I got in early. I feel soory for those who bought in in the mid 3's or even worse the .004's.
It has nothing to do with my broker. They dont cause the mms to get less than $100 from you and drop bid. What is your problem, you have made no sense in your last few posts to me
MRMN, Now some of you see what I was talking about. To the ones of you hanging in longer term, good luck. My problem was never with the stock itself, it was with how weak the bid has been all along. That was with trying to sell at the bid. They one time took $33 worth of mine and lowered bid and it never climbed back up. I did learn a lesson, it taught me to look at # of trades versus overall volume. Hope it is a money maker for all in.
I wish it would just go away, tired of folks always dreaming of their millions they plan on making from it.
Boy do you have a lot to learn. They don't have to fill anything, at anytime, for anybody. LOL Thanks though, that was a good laugh they gave me.
No, dude, thats at bid
MRMN, Oh there are sellers, just none getting executed.
Yes, but can you get out?? MRMN
Yes they will. Also, many are aware, but do not believe at all in the endevor. Once they get on the air, and even go as far as announce carriers and advertisers, these folks will come aboard. imho.
Good night all, we'll see what QBID can do, as well as MRMN.
Real low for the day should have been .0053. Someone messed up with decimals and sold 10 mil at .0006, hopefully most places will come back and fix charts.
Just got off the phone with Ameritrade, had to fight just to get 2 free trades. I had to tell them something specific I wanted to buy earlier and couldn't because of the problems. What a Joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SYTR, no trades today. Wonder why??? eom
