Doma, I think your post has to be read again. ASk yourselves WHY are they doing it. The answer is very simple but each should come to their own conclusions.
Doma's post:
Magdelina...........
But why does a Stock that makes up 3% of your investment portfolio give you such great concern? If Wave only made up 3% of my portfolio i wouldn't give any of your concerns a second thought,it just wouldn't be worth all that effort or worry for me. I would just think of Wave as a High risk investment
that isn't going to change my life much whether it's a Big success or Big failure.........
It is strange that Spin who owns no shares,CPA who holds
a few options & Blue with 5400 shares & you with 3%
are overly worried about something that at the end of the
day isn't going to make much difference to you good or
bad.........
If i were you i would look at your holdings in companies
that make up a large percentage of your portfolio &
go spend the same time & effort there that you have all
spent here...........
Doma.
bonnie, I'm not scared and I have never had to sell any shares and I have never been on margin. I would sell in a heart beat if I saw something that would make me think this investment was the wrong investment for me. I have not seen a thing in the past 18 months that would make me do it.
Have I ever had doubts? You bet, around the delisting period I had doubts but as of last June, no doubts what so ever. In my book it's a done deal.
Larry, I also own Cisco and Sunw (which really needs help). Do you think I have a job there and can create changes at Cisco and Sun?
Larry, do me a favor. Do my job for me O.K. I will just sit back and relax and watch this investment come in for me.
Nothing I do or say is going to change one iota of what is happening in the company. So do our job, I appreciate it.
eamonnshute I agree. That's what proxies and SHM are for. We vote them in, we vote them out. But it is not our JOB on a day to day basis.
If I don't like what is happening I vote against management or sell my position. Simple as that.
You know CPA, we have been asking you for 12 hours now, what you thought positive and negative about the SHM. Others have come forward and given us a report. Heck 7 1/2 minutes sure beats the time it take you to give us a report.
I know you were 'tired' before. Are you awake now to give us a COMPLETE report?
Anyone else other than Maggie, CPA, and Bluefang think we have a job to do?
Well CPA, seems my timing was off, no? So shoot me.
Maggie, you seem to think we have a JOB as shareholders. Wrong, I made an investment. I expect the management that I invested in to do the job, not me. My responsibility begins and ends when I buy or sell the stock.
I just think you are trying to be CPA's good buddy (which I know you are off line) and your posts are the same as his, which in my book is try to slam management at every turn, not to discuss (this is just a cover imo) but to disrupt.
If you don't think there is anything positive in this investment (haven't heard you say much positive), and you think we have a job to do, well, I do my job with my work, not at Wave Systems. I don't recall receiving a pay check from them.
Just my opinion of course.
so, your friend had a stop watch. Did he bring it on his own or did you tell him to, so that he could time it?
CPA, 7 1/2 minutes to answer a question. That is really a stupid thing to even bring up in my opinion.
Ever listen to someone in the Govt. answer a question? A lot longer than 7 1/2 minutes and THEY NEVER ANSWER THE QUESTION. At least you got an answer. Be grateful.
In the next 12 months.
Enough for me.
You THINK I am here for my health or this thread?
More GG. Thanks JBD

Emon or AWK - more GG on WAVX
Same thread as previous. mammon will verify if s/he has recovered from reading the Sunday New York Times.
Wave (WAVX) has less competition, while Avistar (AVSR) has more patents. Both have intellectual property in the midst of the next flood of Internet applications. Will it be swept away...or will it stand and deliver? I wish I could tell you for sure for either company. The patent system is broke, with a proliferation of intellectual property so promiscuous--patenting such a panoply of obvious and spurious "advances" (buffering video in storage, holding an auction on the Internet) that it jeopardizes the entire concept. It swamps the courts, and makes it difficult for companies with real innovations to enforce them.
AVSR currently has more customers. But it faces more direct and sure competition from Microsoft, which is inexorably improving its video teleconferencing software. Because Microsoft does not wish to be seen as an Orwellian big brother, controlling security and identity, WAVX may have a better chance of complementing Microsoft rather than competing with it.
It is a toss up, but, perhaps because I know more about it, I would incline toward Wave, which has become the pivotal company in the move toward trusted computing, which seems nearly sure to happen over the next four or five years. Wave enables your identity and authentication to adhere to you, rather than to some equipment, so that you can have full access to all your computing resources from any entry point or terminal. The case for (with severe caveats) is brilliantly presented by John Walker (autodesk founder) in his paper, The Digital Imprimatur, readily available on the Web.
WAVX is also the obsession of a family, the Spragues, and an army of followers--epitomized by what has been long the largest and most active of all the bulletin boards at Raging Bull--who guarantee that any breakthrough will be fully recognized in the market.

The strong shareholder base kept this company in business since delisting. They are about to repay us in spades. That's good enough for me, I THINK.
I'm not scared of you maggie (sorry) or your discussions which you think are important.
I invested in a company, a start up company at that. I trust what management is doing. My rights as a shareholder as I see it is to buy or sell the stock. I did not invest in this company to become the devil that over sees everything that is happening on the inside. If I don't like what is happening I sell, simple as that. I don't need to try and undress the CEO or the directors. Again, if I don't like what I see, I sell. If I see something that is criminal I sue. That sould cover it I THINK.
Lincolnpark, right on. Lark Allen could have found another job ANYWHERE over the past three years. Why is he still at WAVE?
Because (I had to THINK about this) he knows where Wave is in the cycle of Trusted Computing. He knows the NDAs. He knows the gorillas and if we have a chance. HE KNOWS.
That alone should tell you the sky is not following and all this talk about a new CEO and this one make this much and that one make that much, is all a bunch of BULL in my opinion.
Atleast I THINK that's what it is.
I THINK your valid points are off the wall scare tactics. That's what I THINK.
THINK
cpa, did you have a stop watch with you? How do you know it took 7 1/2 minutes?
Maggie, you posts are starting to sound very elitist to me. It is my opinion you think no one can think around here except you so you have to scold us to THINK. Guess what, we don't have trouble thinking. That is just your opinion, just like this post about you is my opinion.
The sky is not following as you and some others want us to THINK. My opinion only.
THINK ABOUT IT.
Weby, I am only talking about posts that posters ask me to delete within a 1 hour period. Usually the request comes within minutes of posting. I will not delete a post that has been answered or discussed. Once it is there it stays.
The only reason it may take more than an hour is because I may not be on line.
I ask everyone that wants to delete his or her post to send me that request with a private message so as not to take up board space and have 10 posters asking why you want it deleted. Again, if your post was answered or discussed before I got to it, it stands.
Many of you have asked me to delete a post that you put up, either because you had second thoughts or because you made a mistake. I now have a catagory to do that. If anyone posts something they want removed (their own post only) I will be able to accommodate you now.
oknpv, change in CEO is plain nonsense by posters that either don't know what they are talking about or have an agenda, you pick one.
Not to worry. This CEO has done a remarkable job and will be judged and rewarded accordingly.
internet you said about cpa: "I have NO doubts about his desire to see Wave succeed". You can say that with a straight face?
CPA has no love for SKS or Wave. His only concern with Wave at this point in time, is if he can make a few bucks up an down as stated by his put options.
He doesn't believe in the management and in my opinion could care less if Wave succeeds or not.
You have your opinion of what he feels toward Wave and I have mine.
cpa, we're not all children here. Why not give what you perceive to be the positive and negatives. So far I have only heard one negative from you. Were there other negatives and did you hear anything positive or was DWG, Toro, and the others hearing something you did not?
Tampa as I said earlier, I think it's all about nothing. I think some are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
The main thing is that Wave gets market share. If they do, revenues will follow.
Everyone knows there will not be any meaningful revenues until Q2 of 2004. The majority of the revenues for all of 2004 will come in the 2nd half of the year. All the moaning and groaning will not change that. Meaningful revenue are not going to happen in the next 120 days. But there will 1000s of posts between now and then that will continue to knock management because there are no revenues today.
I read what DooWopGuy and the others had to say and I have not changed my position that this is a done deal. Wave is in the best place it has ever been, EVER.
CPA this is a sincere post. There were a few of you that went to the SHM today. First you accuse a poster of not being there and ask him to discribe the lights and the seating. He told you everything you wanted to know but I did not hear an apology from you.
There have been reports by the others that were there. Not one liners but good discriptive posts. I count about a dozen posts by you, not more than one or two sentences, none actually saying anything. Oh a few innuendos are thrown in, but nothing of substance.
And you wonder why others attack you and minimize you. It is because you really did not say one thing positive about anything. It's funny but the others all saw a lot of positive things today. Maybe they were in a different room than you.
I think your hatred of management clouds your reasoning. You should step back and look at yourself as you look at management.
Again, this should not be taken as an attack, this is a sincere view on how I see things today from that meeting.
DWG, another gem of a post. I ask you all to read this post again and read the posts from Toro, thewavewilsetyoufree, weby and the e-mail from SKS. Compare those with CPA's one liner posts. Then make your decision on who is really creditable and who is not.
I won't say who I think is creditable and who is not, because I don't want to influence anyone.
so, CPA, you told them they were liars, thieves and crooks to their faces, is that right? No backpeddling now. Only the truth, CPA only the truth.
alladinator, thank you.
Putting something on this board that is an out and out lie (joke fraud whatever you want to call it), does not belong here
DJ, you sound more relaxed. I hope you are seeing the big picture now. Things will get better (stock price) Nothing goes straight up or straight down. There will be better days ahead.
We are shipping, we are working with major companies, we are going to get market share, we are the only ones out there with attestation. Revenues will come, albeit 2 quarters down the road. I believe the bulk of Wave's revenues will come in the 2nd half of 2004. I also believe the end of next year, there will be 10 million TPMs in the market place. If we only get 20% of those for our services, we will have serious revenues.
Everyone can talk all they want aoubt no revenues now, but it's not going to make the revenues get here any faster. It is what it is, and they won't be here for awhile, so get used to it.
dj, I agree. If they need more a year from now, I am sure the stock will be at least twice as high and they will only have to sell half as many shares. Why sell them all at $1.90 when they can get $3.80 later? If the revenues come in faster then they anticipate at this point in time, maybe future financing won't even be necessary.
kathleen, if you one in the same, please forgive my first post to you. I know you are not a basher. I did not know you were the same person. I apologize to you.
Greg, some one has to remain sane around here while everyone else takes their last gasps. (g)
kath RB won't go back that far anymore. What was your other handle?
So blue, why don't you write him and ask him? ssprague@wavesys.com You know how to write, write him. He will give you more answers that we can give you.
twinkie go read the CC
bonnie ssprague@wavesys.com
You guys are making a mountain out of a mole hill. They hoped (hoped is the key word here) to be cash positive sometime in 2004. So they are saying 2005/2006. That could be January of 2005 or Jan of 2006. 12-24 months. What's the big deal? If we are getting market share by then and are raking in million of dollars of revenues what's the big deal.
I seem to recall a little company named Amazon.com that has revenues of billions (once again Billions) of dollars in revenues before it ever broke even and I don't they are in that great a shape today. (money wise)
We are shipping. Revenues will come. What's the difference if it's 2005 or 2006. I will take that along with revenues of 50-100 million in 2005, even if they are not cash positive by then.
kathleen you just signed up today. Is that the best bash you can do in one day?
Blue my friend, it's funny but your posts inspired me to buy more this morning. I want to thank you.
