Ya, this is a beta test alright.
Software
Intel is bundling Wave Systems* EMBASSY* Trust Suite software package with this motherboard, which includes:
Document Manager*: A TPM-based file and folder encryption program
Private Information Manager*: Protected storage for personal login, credit card, and other personal information that is readily available during online form filling
SmartSignature*: Adobe Acrobat* plug-in that applies TPM-based digital signatures to PDF files
Finallythere, you are correct: WE ARE FINALLYTHERE. You all should click on this link that Finallythere found for us all.
If the TMP Intel is deploying is a 'beta test' then I am HHH.
Wow CPA you hate the Spragues. Who would have thunk that? And the whole point of your post other than hating the Spragues is ..............................................???????????????
rip I will ask you nicely to stop shouting. Please take off your caps to your posts. It is very difficult to read and is not keeping in the civil tone we wish to express here.
Thanks in advance.
Jas, thanks for the backup. You read my post correctly.
Take care
greg s you could have said the same thing a year ago or two years ago. The fact is that the market is just arriving now. Wave was ahead of the market. Those that liked the stock a year or two ago should be heads over heels in love with the stock today.
The future for Wave began a year ago last June. We are in the beginning stages of real deployment. With real deployment comes revenues and nothing short of revenues or revenue projections are going to move this stock in any meaningful way.
But, if you believe revenues are going to happen over the next 12 months, again I say if you believe that, then the price of the stock today is cheap. With revenues comes much higher stock prices and the risk/reward reverts to more reward and less risk.
Greg s, there is no doubt that waiting until Wave hits $7.00, that a lot of risk will be taken out of the stock, no question. But it boils down to how much of a risk you want to take (measured against reward) and how early you want to be in a stock that can have a 10 times move in a very short period of time.
How much is 100 shares of MSFT worth today or a 100 shares of CSCO from their offering price? Something to think about if you think Wave has a place in the Trusted Community space. IF Wave is the glue that holds TPMs together at the present time, then I like the risk/reward proposition that is on the table now.
Greg s it's funny but there is a CEO at Amazon.com that was saying breakeven for months on end, giving rosy figures all the time. The stock even traded down below the teens yet they have a few million shareholders and their stock is doing quite well. Seems the CEO did not do anything to damage the stock. Am I missing something here?
How many shareholders and people on the street know exactly every word that SKS says outside of this forum? Heck, most of the street has never even heard of Wave Systems.........YET!!!
greg s I guess you won't be buying any Wave stock soon because of the way SKS talks? Is that right?
hhh you are a broken record, broken record, broken record. The three of you are broken records. Shame.
I don't want to tell anyone who they should or should not ignore. If there is a poster that is repetitive and does not offer anything of the future, only the past, then posters should decide if they should ignore him or her or not.
If everyone did ignore a poster like this, and did not answer him or her, the poster would probably get tired talking to himself or herself and would eventually disappear.
Awk, cool. We are there. Of course in my opinion only.
The discussions on the board this week-end is what this thread is all about. Not the past, not the sky is falling but real discussions about real things for the FUTURE. Nice to read.
Greg, I can't wait for the day (WHEN it comes, not if it comes IMO) that you are a believer of what Wave is doing and that you believe they will be successful. When that day comes, we will have at least 200 posts on IHUB. LOL.
There is no question you know what you are talking about. There are things though, that are under the surface, so to speak. Many of us go way back to the beginning of this journey and have come full circle. If we did not have something the market needs and wants, we could have been history at least five times now. But each time, money is found, Wave is re-listed on NASDAQ (how many companies can say that?) and we are now working with the giants of the industry.
The next 12 months will determine if we will be a little company, a mid-size company or a future gorilla. Stay tuned.
Kev, read my last post again.
Kev, I want to talk to you about Portsmouth Naval Shipyards. Are you sure you want to talk about it here?
I was in Vegas with a good friend of yours from your work place. I thought we would talk over the good times we had and I don't want to take up time on this thread with this chat talk.
Kev, please e-mail me at snackman@ragingbull.com. You asked me a question earlier and I would like to answer you in private.
mammon, terrific post. Yes, we are all different, from different backgrounds and different parts of the World. We have World players on this thread, from all part of the globe, I know, because I get e-mails from all over the World
And for someone to presume we are all the same, is insane.
greg s, I am by no means a techie such as yourself, but if Intel has given the green light to Wave to PR Intel's chip with Wave's tech on it, I don't think it's a test. If it were, I don't believe they would let Wave PR it. They would tell Wave to test it and then we will see.
I believe Intel and Wave are deeply involved here, but again, you are the tech expert.
mundo, great post. I believe your post separates those that believe and those that don't. So be it.
SKS had done a yoman job no matter what those think of a black merky past, NOT.
You said: "came after a rebuff of the PC OEM's to Wave. Wave had been trying to get PC OEM's to include Wave and eventually learned PC OEM's only include technology when it is demanded in the marketplace". Where is your proof of this statement?
And.
"Wave investors (which Wave investors, YOU?) were left with the impression that Wave walked away because Phoenix was preoccupied with their internal struggles".
Blue you make a good fiction writer.
Proof of statements above please. Gezzz.
zen, wavelurker just registered today. Funny, but Largehedgefund was asking how he could come on with a different handle.
Lucky, from your article:
There are three major types of bashers: advanced, intermediate and beginner. An advanced basher spreads false or misleading information about a company. They deal in facts to counter--with articles, news reports, and opinion surveys that gave a negative impression about the company--every posting from a long investor. An intermediate basher tries to weasel their way into the confidence of longs, and creates doubt using rumor or innuendo. Finally, a beginner basher attempts to create confusion in the chat room by distracting other posters with satire, name-calling, and pointless arguments. The beginner's goal is to make sure no serious discussion of the stock takes place.
Bashers have very professional strategies. First, they develop a character to draw attention, and to build trust from others on the chat board. Bashers are careful never to use profanity or vulgarity because that would cause people to ignore them. Quite often they will respond to posts in a way that ridicules the questioner for asking such a "stupid" question. The purpose is to get a reaction from other posters. The more reaction, the more the room will be disrupted. To throw yet another monkey wrench into the mix, bashers often send in another person to side with the longs of a stock. Again, the idea behind this is to distract people, and to spread rumors and confusion throughout the room.
Anyone we know?
bonnie if you want to take that narrow view be my guest. You know how the DD board worked and it worked very well.
Greg s check out post 20549 and you will see the noise I speak of.
Greg s many thanks for your reply. I hope you will see things in the future that will let you become an investor.
If you go to the RB DD board you will find a civil, courteous board. There were many negative and positive posts there. They were not all cheerleading posts as some like to refer to.
What we did do however is eleminate the 'noise'. I think you are assute enough to recongnize the 'noise' that is here.
I would hope that when we get the board that you will look in and see what a real DD board can do.
Not allowing negatives posts is so false that I will not even comment further on it.
Again, thanks for the reply and I hope to become an investor if you see what some of us see.
cpa, come on baby. How many posts to you have left? Let's talk about this some more.
cpa, I don't believe the question was directed to you. He can type can't he?
old, not the truth, just posters like you. You should all check this poster out on the other boards to FIND OUT THE TRUTH.
CPA if you can't see it I won't try to explain it to you. I will not fall into your trap. Just to engage with you on anything compromises this board in my opinion.
Why should I try to have dialog with someone that has only one goal and that is to see SKS distroyed. It's an ego thing with you now, nothing more and nothing less. You could care less about the company and the shareholders. You are just after one thing. So why should we engage you?
greg are you invested in Wave?
IHUB is trying to work out a members only board. Hopefully we will have this board soon. Then we can go back to a board like we had on the DD board at Rb.
summer unfortunately that will not happen. Because when we get to $4.00 you have the traders and those with an agenda, trying to knock us back to $2.00. When we get to $6.00 they will try and knock it back to $4.00 and so on. It will never end as long as you have shorts, traders, momo players and people with vendettas against management.
Tampa, of course it's your right to vent if you want. The point I was trying to make is this:
I met some old friends last Saturday evening. I got to talking about Wave and they were really interested. These people happen to be good investors and have taken major positions in other companies.
I gave then the link to come to this site. I made a mistake. I should have just given them Wave's Website and UncleaverNames site. I will not make that mistake again.
It's amazing to me how this board, which had such great DD has let CPA, SPIN, Blue and Maggie come in and control this board.
It just so happens these posters were not on the DD board and it worked quite well until RB broke down.
If you want to let these four call the agenda for this thread, it's O.K. by me. Majority rules. But not 4 posters.
SPIN, for you edification I have had dinner with SKS three times to my recollection. I have paid for dinner all three times. He has never used company funds to pay for my dinner.
newinvestor you are pretty new if you think management has done nothing. Why are you invested in a nothing company then?
tampa I am at a loss to understand why someone that is invested in a stock will keep shooting themselves in the foot. I can not believe an investor that believes in their investment would find every negative they can to discourage others to invest in the same investment they have their money in. I just don't understand.
Blue, you can not get any lower in my book. I am sure you have never been drunk correct?
What happen to privacy of personal life? What happened to just plain decency?
Hey, Blue ever cheat on your wife? Ever loss money at the track or at cards? Are these things you want to 'discuss' on this board, you know, about personal things and such.
Wow, I can't believe you.

Thank you 2bstealthy.
Those who are bullish after returning from the shm yesterday are bullish based upon ubiquitous dreams driven by our CEO. Throw out those dreams and let's examine what we have and know today. Where's the clarity?
Think.
Someone I love is involved in this company. I want the best for all of us.
