Correct numbers are in this article: http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2014/jun/04/las-vegas-council-agrees-initial-medical-marijuana/
Under state law ********There are no limits on cultivation or production facilities**********
That was confirmed to me via emails from 2 Clark County Commissioners.
Excellent find on that news article. This is the best description I have seen from the news media. This is the article we should all use for talking about the numbers.

The other publicly held company that DID get a Clark County dispensary permit now has allegations against it.
****This IS on topic, because if they lose their permit at county or state level, TRTC "might" be able to pick it up.*****

Excerpt from email I received from pumps and dumps:
"But as bad as that was, it was a walk in the park compared to what happened to the suckers playing #### (my deletion of stock name for terms of agreement requirement on ihub). That stock generated losses of over $486K as 1,460 of the 1,467 trades registered as overpays. In the 5 days since the launch of this Pump & Dump campaign, shares have lost 26% of their value. I am not a full access (paid) member so I will not be able to read coming advisory.
Now I have zero knowledge of the accuracy of the statement. It could be more manipulators doing to that symbol what was done to TRTC. BUT, more drama in the sector. I had a small buy order in for a lower than ask on that symbol. In an abundance of caution, I just cancelled my buy order. Instead I will keep my powder dry for opportunities. I already added 20% more TRTC on this mornings dip.
NO, NOT correct! I have received 2 emails back from Clark County Commissioners. There are NO hard numbers for cultivation, production, or laboratory for the ENTIRE STATE.
From Mary Beth Scow,
Dear #######,
I am sorry that I did not see this email until this morning, so did not respond before your discussion group yesterday.
The state limited the number of dispensaries by jurisdiction, but imposed no such limit on cultivation, production and lab facilities.
Why don't you just read Terra Techs response???
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=62495035&symbol=TRTC
No longer the correct numbers.
Read all the posts for the past 2 days for the corrections. Also, confirmation from:
Clark County Commissioner Mary Beth Sow replied to my email:

I added 20 percent more shares today myself.
TRT@ released a statement of legal action against shorters committing libel to manipulate the PPS. I wonder if MCIG will do the same?
Recently03,
Thank you for your links and explanations. I feel much better now with a deeper understanding of the process and numbers.
Again, I am agreeing with your analysis.
40 minus 18 leaves 22 possible licenses. Restricted by Clark County procedural decisions, NOT state law.
Logic dictates there will not be more cultivation permits than there are dispensaries.
I am still NOT selling my shares, and will buy the dip if it occurs.
I'm working backwards through the posts. I agree with your numbers and think this is what we are working with for remaining permits for production and cultivation.
"40 minus 18 leaves 22 possible licenses"
That is the closest I have been able to verify independently of your research. So if we are correct, instead of 64 cultivation and 42 production "permits", we have that many applications for the remaining 22 permits.
Make sense, or I am in left field?
The problem is Clark County is doing their own restrictions above and beyond the state. Specific numbers have been used by me previously on here of 64 cultivation and 42 production permits.
When challenged on where I got those numbers I could not back them up except in poorly worded news articles.
Your links and info while helpful do not give exact numbers.
I do not trust the Clark County Commissioners methodology and simply want hard numbers on restrictions they are imposing.
Your questions as to where I got the numbers are why I started researching deeper. In the news article you link, the word "applications" is the key that causes me to question the numbers I was using previously. That is where I was going wrong previously as well.
Overall, there were 64 ****applications**** to operate cultivation facilities in the portions of the county that sit outside of city limits, 81 for dispensaries, 42 to produce marijuana, and none to operate grow labs.
Number of applications - not permits. I hope I am wrong, but I spent over 2 hours scouring the web with no official confirmation.
In the same linked article here is another key:
A state law approved last year allows for the development of as many as ***40*** medical marijuana business facilities in Clark County for the cultivation, production, sale and testing of marijuana.
I hope for an email confirmation from one of the county commissioners or a reporter on the beat in Clark County early in the week.
I will be buying the dip as well if it improves my average PPS.
I am also attempting to verify the 64 cultivation and 42 production permits. I emailed 7 Clark County Commissioners and the author of the article that we are all using as the number to request confirmation. I hope it IS correct.
If the PPS is anywhere in the 30s, I'll be buying even if the cultivation and production permit numbers we are using is not correct. I'll probably buy in the low 40s as well.
I am real interested in several things. Seeing SA and the author of the hit piece pay a price for their actions, seeing Norman lughingpaulryan pay for contacting the county commissioners and slamming TRTC (proof is on line where he admitted doing so to take profits), verifying the number of permits, and seeing the PPS rise or fall over the next trading week.
Good luck to all but the shorters.

Clark County has layered it's own requirements in above and beyoond state law. There process is not in clear written form for us to read - IE how many of each type of permit in Clark County.
Here are the links where you can do your own due diligence on the wording:
News reports that may be misleading:
"Commissioners also will make decisions on applications for six laboratories, 42 production facilities and 64 cultivation facilities."

I think the numbers we are using for the number of cultivation (64) and production permits (42) is wrong.
I have done extensive internet searches and cannot find official confirmation of 64 cultivation and 42 production permits anywhere but in poorly written news articles that may have referred to number of applications versus number of permits available. No official website has the numbers.
This number is important for us to be clear on. I own shares, and have no short position. I am not bashing and this IS on topic and should not be moderated out.
I have spent a lot of time trying to track this down. I have emailed the county commissioners of districts a-g and asked them, but no reply back yet. I hope they will reply on a week day.
I'll reply to this post with links you can check out yourself to see what I mean about the wording in the news articles. I HOPE the 64/42 number is correct. I helped spread those numbers, and now I owe it to all of you to say I may have been wrong and you need to check it out on your own.
I still plan to buy more shares on the dip regardless.

Multiple places. I'll link one at bottom.
70 applications for 64 cultivation permits, 45 applications for 42 production permits.
http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2014/apr/22/rush-get-medical-marijuana-business/ (total applications)
Hmm, I lost the link for number allowed. It is posted somewhere in here though.
1st if the price crashes I can buy more shares for less money so that's not a killer for me.
2nd: 70 applications for 64 cultivation permits. Sounds like good odds to me. AND 45 applications for 42 production permits. Again, good odds.

Getting the word out. Look at all the repeat questions. Many who hit the board are on limited time and won't take the time to read through 150 posts.
Keep the good news at the top, just like the bashers keep the criticisms at the top.
You made your short position so good for you.
For the rest of us, keep your eye on the end goal. Making money on a increase in PPS. There were only 18 dispensary permits available and 90 applications. TRTC made it to the final round, but just missed with 3 of 4 votes positive for one of the 2 locations. 3 of 4 Commissioners voted for TRTC so there in no huge objection to a publicly traded company.
Rory Reid supported TRTCs application and presented the first 2 minutes of the first locations discussion panel. Rory is the son of Harry Reid the US Senate Majority Leader. Rory has deep connections in Las Vegas, Clark County, and Nevada. Rory will likely also be at the cultivation and production hearings.
June 17 and 18, cultivation permits hearing take place. 70 applications for 64 cultivation permits. Sounds like good odds to me. AND 45 applications for 42 production permits. Again, good odds.
To the deleted post author. I am not crying at all. I lost no money because I did not sell. My average was previous .48, I bought this past week and am now at . 61.
I will be taking advantage of the low point (if I can catch it and it's under or close to .40) and adding 50 percent more shares.

I'm in buying mode, not crying mode. Nice try though.
I am working over the guy who did the hit piece on Seeking Alpha. Check it out and toss a few words in if you can. I'm posting under AC7880. Alan Brochstein is on there as well and we need to bring him over for some balance.

Fixing the link I posted: http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2014/apr/22/rush-get-medical-marijuana-business/
Same numbers here: http://www.fox5vegas.com/story/25319733/clark-co-receives-206-medical-marijuana-applications (fixed the link)
70 applications for 64 cultivation permits. Sounds like good odds to me. AND 45 applications for 42 production permits. Again, good odds.
Check my numbers here. Is this correct?
A total of 206 applications were filed by 109 legal entities with the county’s Business Licensing Department before today’s 5 p.m. deadline.
That total includes 90 applications for dispensaries, 70 applications for cultivation facilities, 45 for production facilities and one for an independent testing laboratory.
So, 70 applications for 64 cultivation permits. Sounds like good odds to me. AND 45 applications for 42 production permits. Again, good odds.

I'm here for the long haul. I want to lower my PPS average, while adding 50 percent more shares.
We know we are taking a big hit due to the SA article, no dispensary permit, and profit taking. I want to up my shares by 50%. I bought this week to up my share count hoping for a dispensary permit. My average was .48 before, .61 now.
Now I want to position for the cultivation permits, and for FL. Of course I want to buy at the low point of this roll back. Do you want to pay more than the low point?
We know we will see at least some recovery leading into the 17 June cultivation hearings. Buy low, roll into the expectations with more shares on hand.
The worst part is that the SA author admitted he was shorting the stock. That makes it unethical and possibly even criminal - at least in civil court for damages he caused by trying to profit with his short position.
Very good idea on the pink and blue baby it's a boy/girl. You should email that to investor relations.
Add in - Higher up the PPS range MDCN at $2.00 to $2.10 is a pretty safe bet. Gary Johnson ex governor of NM and a presidential candidate past and future is on the board. They will very likely beat FITX to the punch (if FITX EVER makes it).
Forecast the lowest PPS and the day for it.
I'm hoping for .40 or under this coming week so I can up my shares by 50%. What do you with more time watching this stock think will be the low point and when?
I think it will be begin to peak again the week before 17 June cultivation hearing, but not as hard and fast due to some burnt folks who wont give it a shot again.
Low point Tuesday/Wednesday?
18 Dispensing permits , 6 Laboratory permits ,
42 Production permits , 64 Cultivation permits == Better odds on the cultivation permit.
18 Dispensing permits , 6 Laboratory permits ,
42 Production permits , 64 Cultivation permits == Better odds on the cultivation permit.
I actually hope it does drop as low as .20 even though my average is .61. I plan to buy and .20 would be GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lot's of competition for only 18 permits and politics. Political favors, political paybacks.
