a year ago fcel was $4.40 pers share...at the time of that pr in August, fcel was about $1.50...
today fcel is $1.21..
oh yea.. they are doing wonderfully...not long ago, they increased authorized shares by 500 mil...double what they had previously...the thought was that Exxon would sign them to a big contract...hasnt happened...its been years now that the old contract has been extended...Fcel was counting on all that gov welfare money just like all the rest...
it was said that Fcel wouldnt dilute...they had no reason to...fed gov was going to make it rain money on green energy....hasnt happened...
Fcel has some money in the bank...but at some point they will have to dilute...just like it looks like Plug is going to do...or is already doing...
im sure Fcel execs would like to dilute at a higher price than $1.21....but look at a 3 year chart and see the reality...then look at a 3 year chart of plug...they are almost identical...
"I don't think FCEL is struggling"
lol
The ceo made projections based on the trillions of dollars that were supposed to become available to clean energy companies…that money is still in limbo…
The PLUG and FCEL’s etc of the world were just struggling little companies looking for crumbs until Biden and his trillions came along…
They ran up with the news and fell with the reality that all the politicians had to get fed first…
Bloated welfare baby companies need to feed off the government tit in order to survive…
The politicians got their money and now the regulators want theirs…they came up with stringent rules that will be loosened just as soon as their palms get greased…
Anyone who bought the hype that the trillions would start flowing quickly just didn’t understand the system…
Everyone wants to do the right thing…but when there’s a lot of money involved, the price for doing the right thing goes up…
"Production is NOT commercial production."
PRODUCTION is PRODUCTION...
kim called that 25 kilo batch of silk a SMALL batch of production from a TEST of the production model...when he goes into production, it will be to produce much more than that...and the eventual goal will be tonnage...
you gotta start somewhere...and he HAS started...
more to come...which means your time to disappear is rapidly approaching....TICK TOCK...
lol...keep trying to pretend the pr's are vague and misleading...they did use to be...but they are quite clear now...your attempts to make them appear unclear are amusing...
the pr's are easy to read and are very clear...you just choose to try to concoct as much negativity as possible...and its obvious that is getting harder for you to do...you are having to reach way out into left field and are pretending to not understand the english language...or maybe you are not pretending...
oh well...either way, you are just dead wrong...
"A recent small-scale test of changes in our production system was successful. In the process of that test, we also learned how we can improve our procedures and business model beyond mere silkworm robustness to achieve our production objectives. "
seems to me that India may have offered some insight into what they could do to help improve kblb's business model after seeing the successful test of production...
"We have active negotiations in process with public and private sector actors, which would have been unimaginable six months ago."
and they are negotiating...hmmm...wonder WHO they are negotiating with?...im sure its a real mystery to some...lol...
a licensing deal perhaps?...with the second largest silk producer in the world...
"Kraig Labs has now engaged leading experts from India to assess, train, and revamp our domestic and international operations to meet the exacting standards used in India’s commercial silk operations."
imagine that...India is helping to shape kblb's business and production model to work seamlessly with theirs...
wonder why?...
probably just coincidence...
A year ago, plug was $18 per share…today it is breaking down under $4…
If plug is the leader, it is leading everyone downward…
Plug issued a “going concern” warning…
BE just got upgraded…
I think PLUG should be thanking BE…
Kim’s statement in the pr is what it is…why speculate that he didn’t say it when he clearly did?…lol
“today announces that it has successfully completed the first pilot production test using a new two strain hybrid system.”
He stated it was a NEW two strain hybrid…it means what it means…like it or not…
It’s not even all that important…the real issue is the one that shot all your timelines down..
“"The Company is now planning to transition all of its spider silk production to a two strain hybrid model in the near term.”
Spider silk production in the NEAR TERM…
You said “"I don’t see much to indicate that KBLB plans to continue production using the ‘early’ two-parent hybrid strains.”
Kim in fact said EXACTLY that!….and said it would be NEAR TERM….
In the shareholder letter:
“This testing with a two-strain hybrid created the largest caterpillars and cocoons Kraig Labs has ever produced. As we look to the 2024 silk-producing season, these new lines will become the bedrock upon which future production is built.”
“our core focus remains on the IMMEDIATE commercialization of existing spider silk technologies”
Kim is being VERY clear on what he is doing and what he intends to do…
" I believe the test was performed using eggs sent over in January 2023 for the two-strain hybrid model"
those worms didnt work in early 2023...they werent robust enough and the yield wasnt good enough...kblb spent all of 2023 creating a new 2 strain hybrid worm and looking worldwide to find commercial worms to breed them with...but they used eggs from Jan 2023 to create the last batch of DS??...doesnt make sense...
" today announces that it has successfully completed the first pilot production test using a new two strain hybrid system.
"I don’t see much to indicate that KBLB plans to continue production using the ‘early’ two-parent hybrid strains. Did I overlook something?"
yes you did...
"The Company is now planning to transition all of its spider silk production to a two strain hybrid model in the near term. "
"The Company hopes to be able to utilize even more advanced hybrids before the end of the upcoming field trials."
What are you trying to convey in this post?…it’s literally meaningless…there’s nothing in it about Kblb…
You wonder why no one gives a shit about your posts?…now you know why..
and yet, its still stupid and no one gives a shit...
I like how you pretend to know it was in a lab…what lab? …where?…
And if they wanted to test the production capabilities, why would they do it in a lab?…mass production ain’t gonna happen in a lab…
Care to get a little more specific?…cause nothing you are saying makes any sense at all…
“It will NEVER EVER happen with this idiot running it.”
It has already happened…
Why don’t you just ask webstinker and the Russian?….I doubt many others really give a shit about such utterly stupid poll…
“ but gives no hints as to where or when the vehicle will be manufactured ”
Does it give a hint where they will fuel up?…
you dont seem to want to answer my question...so ill just make it plain and simple...
from the 10q, sept 30 filing:
September 30, 2023 -- December 31, 2022
Cash and Cash Equivalents $2,894,555 / $3,862,716
in 9 months, kblb spent $968,161...or about $1,290,881 for all of 2023...at which point they would end up with $2,571,835 in cash....which i dont believe includes the $441k in gold...
like i said...enough money for almost 2 more years...
You said you would not reply anymore…
And here I thought you were a man of your word…
Shoulda known better
"You’ve been watching too much of the matrix dumba$$."
i have no idea what you are trying to express...i dont get the reference and i have never seen the movie...
once again, you are just throwing out one liners like a henny youngman without the humor...or sense even..except maybe nonsense...
"My last reply to a fool."
cool...i much prefer commenting on posts without any reply...its so much easier...
"You just posted facts from last September, that came directly from Kraig."
what is your point?...do you have a conclusion to present?...
" And I have no idea what mojo is smoking with his last post."
yes you do...you just dont want to believe it and hope to hell it isnt accurate...
" Absolutely NOTHING to back up what he’s “predicting”. "
and yet i will be right yet again...dont try to understand it...you havent got the capacity to understand it...just go back to your jack daniels and sippy cup...
"Oh, the slam dunk ?"
yes?...what about it?...did you pass out in mid thought?...
" they reported that they had a net loss of over $1.7 MILLION over 9 months. That prorates to about $2.3 MILLION for all of 2023. In that same filing, it said that they had $2.9 million in cash / equivalents."
lets be clear....are you stating that because of a projected 2.3 mil loss in 2023, that kblb will only have $600k in cash left now?...is that what you are saying?...
“ So you are saying that the Douchebag CEO is lying in the SEC filing?”
No…YOU are lying when you say it’s coming soon…
Kblb has enough money to last about 2 more years…
Mass production has started or will soon…tonnage around June or so…
By that point, Kblb should be in the dollar range…maybe more…if dilution is needed, 10 mil shares should be easy enough to dilute without any disruption at all…
Your time is running short…tick tock
"I said the contract is automatically void because it doesn’t meet the requirements of a contract."
contracts get automatically voided?...by who?...how?...do they simply self destruct?....lmao
"Neither side could enforce it on the other because of that."
what the hell are you even talking about?...you should have stuck to the idea that the kings group cancelled the contract...that didnt happen, but at least it made some kind of sense...
"Too much for a fry cook to understand so don’t even try."
and you think you have googled your way into understanding contract law?...lol!...all you have done is completely befuddled yourself...
stop trying to extricate yourself from the the utter nonsense of your original post...
"It’s no different."
its completely different...
"I’m sure Kim wanted 100% of the profit as did King’s."
no he didnt...and neither did kings...its ridiculous to believe they entered into a joint venture PARTNERSHIP negotiations, wanting or expecting 100% of the profits...SMH
"No reason to have a contract otherwise."
and here we have a statement that SCREAMS "i dont know what im talking about"....lol
" I’d rather hear this coming from King’s than trusting anything KBLB says."
maybe theres a very good reason why you havent heard from kings, kblb or anyone else with knowledge, that the contract has been dissolved...
like say.......because it hasnt been...
"Plus, last I checked, KBLB is a publicly traded company making $0 in revenue. I’d think that putting a $40 million contract on the back burner for several years would warrant an 8k. Have you seen one saying so?"
you keep making up stuff like things got put "on the back burner" so you can claim an 8k is required...maybe no action was taken at all...maybe its all just being chalked up to a delay...
first of all, it isnt just about a contract between the kings group and kblb...kblb, the kings group and M joined together in a joint venture partnership called Spydasilk...kblb was to provide the fiber/material, M would design the clothing line and kings would do the rest...
kblb has yet to mass produce the fiber necessary for the others to do their thing...is there anyone that doesnt know that kblb has not yet mass produced DS?...everyone is already well aware...why do you feel an 8k is required?...you think maybe kblb HAS mass produced and just didnt tell anyone?...
i think by now it should be clear that this isnt just a simple property purchase agreement...there is much more invloved and whatever expertise you want to claim to have, is woefully inadequate...
"I'd like to see KBLB show up at King's doorstep with a truck load of spydasilk demanding to get paid their $250,000 after King's has already decided to move on."
but have they?...HAS kings moved on?...
when two entities have agreed on a contract, that contract must be adhered to...but that doesnt mean when the two entities are agreeable, that that contract cant be modified or ammended in almost any way they agree too...
this isnt a real estate contract where someone sells land and someone puts up money to buy it...that can be an adversarial situation...they are each trying to get the best deal at the disadvantage of the other...
kblb and the kings group is a contract for goods and services...they BOTH expect to profit in an ON-GOING basis...they become PARTNERS in a business endeavor...once they come to an agreement that is believed to be equitable, a contract is signed...the ability to end the contract is defined...but that doesnt mean the partners who want to profit, cant agree to change or ammend the contract to overcome unforeseen hardships from either party in order to continue the relationship...
you post seems to suggest that the kings group has dissolved the contract simply because they could...
just because they can, doesnt mean they did...its a silly assumption...
I believe you are misinterpreting the intent and purpose of the “field trials”…
Which means your timelines are way off…
Things will be happening much sooner..
im not gonna bother looking at that video...im guessing Nikola thinks everything is going wonderfully...
but when i look at the shareprice, i see a stock that was 3.70 in August and is now 87 cents...
3 years ago, it was 30 bucks a share...
not interested in anything they have to say...
got anything useful to say?...how about something to do with fcel for starters...but before you start withh all your conspiracy theories, ill need to go find my tin foil hat...
lmao
kim in years past was stumbling around making bad decisions and mistakes...
this past year or so, he is actually making the right decisions and the company is progressing the way i had always hoped it would...
he always wanted to do it himself...it appears he has put his ego aside and is assembling a team that has done very well and looks to be headed for successful mass production...
whether you like it or not...
"Thompson either intentionally Lied on that PR to his shareholders OR just got ahead of his skis"
he did a pilot run and the worms did not perform as expected...and the yield was not as expected...
he spent almost all of 2023 correcting the problem by hiring the best experts to create bigger healthier and more robust worms...experts also made changes to the entire production process and added new equipment as well...management changes were made...a materials expert was hired...
all that was tested in a small test production run...the results were excellent...the future looks bright...and its coming "soon"...
keep crying over spilled milk...for whatever good that does you...
"So if/when Amazon converts the first 9 million warrants at approximately $23, Plug Power gets approximately $207 million."
if years from now, plug should hit a pps of 40 bucks, those warrants being converted at $23 really wont look so good...
"We may very well have found support, it does make perfect sense that it would be around $1.56 or a $1.57."
i thought 1.69 was support...but now that todays low is 1.57, suddenly thats now a support level....just because?...
the only real support is at 1.50 and 1.25...heavy resistance is at 2.00...everything else is just price fluctuations...
"What the hell do you call signing a $40 million contract and never collecting a dime then?"
i call it the past...another example of kim jumping the gun...
the past is the past...its what we do going forward that matters...
a whole hell of a lot has changed since then...much progress has been made...
believe it or dont believe it...sell or hold...
but crying about the past is useless...
"Fossil fuel percentage gets low enough we’ll all be in the dark"
nah...they all just want the Fed gov to pony up the big bucks while they put forth the least amount of effort...if they have to work harder to get the money, they will...but only if they have to...
making green hydrogen with clean energy is the hard way...making green hydrogen with dirty energy is the easy way...they REALLY want to go the easy route...but if the Fed gov threatens to take away their welfare money, they will eventually do the right thing...
turns out, big business are really no different than individuals on welfare...huh...imagine that...
"Yes, it is called market manipulation. The Douchebag CEO used to be a penny stock broker. He knows how to play the game "
in what way were the kblb shares manipulated today?...you think kim orchestrated a few thousand dollars worth of sells so that his own shares could be worth less...
wow...diabolical...kim is a veritable mastermind...
SMH...lmao
90 times more sells than buys...and the pps dropped 2.7%??..
lmao
"The electrolyzer is plugged into the power grid, and fossil fuels still make up about 60 percent of the US electricity mix."
and this is it in a nutshell...companies want to get billions in welfare checks for creating green hydrogen using dirty energy...
and the Fed gov is saying, screw any phase in BS...do it or dont do it...but you aint getting paid to not get it done...
i was talking business...now you want to make it democrats vs republicans...far left vs far right...im not gonna play that game...
Even if everything you said was true…
Silk is an $18 billion dollar market…
And none of what you said is much of an issue anyway…
"A1000 miles? I’ve not heard of anything close to that"
https://www.torquenews.com/14335/aptera-1000-mile-range-ev-will-change-everything
but in the near future, thanks to solid state battery technology, 700-800 miles on a charge will be common place...there are so many really great things going on with EV's that no one really needs to be concerned with fcev's...maybe if hydrogen can get pumped out of the ground, hydrogen vehicles have a shot...but fcev's?...theres no need for them...and the Exxon's of the world would, by far, prefer hydrogen vehicles rather than screw around with fcev's...
https://www.thecooldown.com/green-business/800-mile-range-ev-porsche/#:~:text=Porsche%27s%20new%20solid%2Dstate%20battery,miles%20before%20having%20to%20recharge
"What is to make one think that he is all of a sudden now telling the truth?"
weak, desperate and frankly just a really stupid comment...
smh
