Another new strain release this week, Afghan Skunk.
LHS Twitter says availability later this week.
Get to know Afghan Skunk: an indica-dominant hybrid. Bred from Afghani & Skunk # 1, this #strain is known to provide uplifting & happy feelings while also providing patients with a relaxing effect that many patients report aids with insomnia and improved sleep patterns. Can't beat their new Tampa location. Absolutely surrounded by dense residential housing, and across from a hospital and medical center. Hope they do as well with the Orlando location.
Hoping now that they have their statewide footprint with the addition of the medium sized panhandle cities, they will start opening multiple locations in the large ones.
Especially along the I-4 corridor from Tampa to Orlando to Daytona. Packed with future customers. imho gl
Looks to me like they are moving into more premium strains like the new Mango Haze that is in stock for $40 per 1/8th / $15 pre-rolls. This is a good thing that should help the bottom line. imho gl
Watch this video about the LHS 360 cultivation facility. The LHS rep in the video says they are getting a yield of 700 pounds of dried flower per week, that's 11,200 ounces per week.
Right now LHS is selling close to 3,000 ounces per week of dried flower, according to the OMMU weekly numbers. If this is correct LHS could easily supply 3 times the number of current stores with some to spare.
There should be plenty of supply for now, and the future. This could be the reason they are moving fast to open new stores. Don't want to sit on perishable inventory. Although they probably use the excess for long shelf life concentrates. imho gl

Five Bills That Would Change Florida's Marijuana Laws
SB 212 would have the most impact on medical marijuana retail facilities by authorizing them to sell marijuana, marijuana delivery devices, and edibles under a new set of requirements. If the bill became law, the state would begin issuing licenses to medical marijuana retail facilities in August 2020.
Approved facilities would have to work with a single treatment center to obtain and sell their products. The facilities themselves would not be allowed to produce the products.
https://www.miaminewtimes.com/marijuana/miami-beach-makes-it-illegal-to-smoke-marijuana-cannabis-or-hemp-in-public-11295666
To me it sounds like this legislation would allow retail cannabis stores, but would require them to buy their products from current MMTC's like LHS, Trulieve, & Curaleaf. Big win for existing license holders if it passes. imho glta

Just called Trulieve to check on their dried flower. They only had Girl Scout Cookie in 1/8th oz size for $53.00. Took 55 minutes on hold to reach a customer rep. If it wasn't just for DD I never would have held that long. Hopefully their customers hang up and call LHS, which was only a 5 minute wait time. Very friendly and knowledgeable rep. LHS has them beat in price and customer service. imho glta
LHS stock is part of the OTCQX Cannabis Index. The index is down today, including Trulieve and Curaleaf.
Pensacola is open. That was quick. eom
Longtime watcher, first time buyer of LHS. Sat on the fence until Florida's recreational legalization amendment looked like it would make the ballot.
Agree that expansion is very important right now, and look forward to the reported store announcements coming in November. Also this weeks sales, and the quarterly report.
Always imho gl
Agree, They might come close to break even, but they really didn't start full production harvesting at 360 until the end of July. They could surprise, but next quarter is more likely to break even or better. imho glta
Good news LHS was approved to open the Pensacola store.
Called a LHS store in Tampa and they were out of their Super A5 Indica strain in 1/8 oz's, but still had the Blue Dream sativa in stock. Some customers only want Indica so hopefully they get their Indica shipped out next week. This could be the reason for the 100 oz difference from last week. I'll check again on Monday. Still a good week on the revenue side.
Here's the numbers from OMMU FL.
https://s27415.pcdn.co/wp-content/uploads/ommu_updates/2019/102519-OMMU-Update.pdf
MedMen is currently getting a 11% bump just for announcing two new stores in Florida. Now they have 7, LHS 18 plus Tampa ready to open pending approval, and 5 more locations will be revealed in November. LHS not getting much love at the moment, hopefully increasing weekly sales results will start getting some attention soon.
MedMen dried flower sales last week 124 oz, LHS 2958 oz. MedMen THC 991,060 mgs, LHS 3,553,610 mgs. LHS blowing their socks off in total sales and sales per store. imho glta.
Not surprised the Blue Dream is going up some. It's the most popular strain of cannabis everywhere it's available. LHS was smart to focus on popular strains customers want. Let others sell the unfamiliar strains at double the price, until their customers switch to LHS. imo glta

Hopefully customers switching to LHS for their ability to stock flower, will switch to their concentrates as well.
This could be another record week when the FL OMMU releases the official sales numbers today. LHS is rapidly gaining on Trulieve in total flower sales, and has already passed them in per store sales for flower.
According to online reviews Trulieve is having a real problem keeping flower in stock, and some unhappy patients are switching providers. Plus this will be the first full week to include the Panama City location since the grand opening.
Will post the new numbers once released. Always imho glta
Thanks for the link. Hopefully Bernie can get a serious conversation on Federal legalization started.
Unfortunately right now it's still State by State. Found the petition that Floridians are signing to get recreational legalized.
Looks like it would still require MMTC's to be vertically integrated seed to sale companies like it is now. This should be a barrier to mj speculators that can't afford the cost and time it requires to build cultivation facilities, grow and extract a marketable product, remodel and open new stores, supply those stores, etc. This should be a big win for current licensees if it passes.
Florida Legalization Petition
https://makeitlegalflorida.com/read-the-amendment/
Man watching Canadian LP's like Zenabis & Dutchman getting hammered by oversupply issues makes me glad to be invested in cannabis dispensaries in heavily populated cannabis hungry Florida. imho glta
On top of the good news of two new store announcements this week, and five more stores coming in November, it looks like the rec amendment that will be on the ballot in 2020 will require all recreational sales to go through authorized medical cannabis clinics like LHS. The amendment is being heavily funded by current MSO's in Florida who want a level playing field for all new entrants.
Meanwhile LHS is rapidly expanding storefronts and cultivation capacity to supply the booming medical market now, and the massive rec market waiting on the horizon. Great news on the 7 new storefronts coming online. Good work LHS :) Always imho glta
Man if you read the google reviews for Trulieve's Florida stores there are some really unhappy customers out there. Insanely long wait times for service, consistently out of stock on flower and popular concentrates, online ordering system failures, online orders not ready for pick up, rude customer reps, product equipment failure, returns denied, and on and on. Some really sad stories of the elderly unable to wait hours for their medicine.
LHS had a few complaints too, but nothing like Trulieve, and most were of the non serious variety. Trulieve investors are the ones who need to worry. Big and bloated burning cash to open stores they can't properly supply. LHS is expanding at a pace they can supply, and why many reviewers said they switched dispensaries to LHS.
I'll stick with the numbers too, and leave the pie in the sky alone. imho gl
Hey Thanks. This is the easiest company to DD since their product sales numbers are available to the public every week. You can also call the dispensaries yourself to see if their products are in stock. This is just getting started in FL, and LHS is already outselling everyone but Trulieve in dried flower. Concentrate numbers are moving up quickly as well. imho gl
https://s27415.pcdn.co/wp-content/uploads/ommu_updates/2019/101819-OMMU-Update.pdf
The LHS rep in the video said they were getting a yield of 700 pounds of dried flower per week. I'm guessing any unused flower will be used for extracts, which reportedly is coming online this month with a high volume extraction system. The new concentrates will be sold under the Zentiant brand name. I'm not sure about their curing system, but there has been a speed up in traditional cure times using new technologies. Wouldn't be surprised if they were in use at their high tech facility.
Agree, their 360 facility output is amazing, with state of the art automation. The plants look healthy and thriving in the greenhouses. Best part they are keeping up with demand where others are falling short. Doesn't matter how many stores you have if you can't keep up with demand. Looking forward to this weeks dried flower report.
LHS 360
If you look at the new location in Tampa using google satellite you'll see it's surrounded by densely populated residential areas. Across the street is St Josephs Hospital along with medical centers and doctors offices. Plenty of parking available at LHS. Looks like LHS has picked great location for high volume sales.
I've also been calling Curaleaf, LHS, and Trulieve dispensaries in Florida, and more often than not Curaleaf, and Trulieve are out of dried flower, and LHS is in stock. Also phone call wait times to Trulieve have been 30 minutes and longer. Curaleaf somewhat better, LHS usually answers right away or short wait.
LHS has by far the best dried flower prices of the three. If Trulieves cultivation can't keep up with demand at competitive prices consumers will switch to whoever can. Right now it seems to be LHS. imho glta
