All right cut it out...isn't FDMF @.0075 cheap enough?

Good find rkor....at least MOP will be able to do some good there....long overdue good.
An unbelievable situation...that clearly shows guilt for both Texaco and Chevron, imo.
Looks like some progress is being made here. Nice. I'm intrigued that it's a joint venture...could be hearing more details from the company in the near future, too.
Hope to hear some news regarding BP in the short term too.
Always here :) Just researching and sending out information.
Had a lot of day traders on MOPN on Monday...and they're still profit taking and apparently losing patience today.
The good news is we all know how easily this stock flies on good news. Mop will update us when solid news is ready.
Good product, good Management and a float ya can't beat!
Listen...MOP has the documents to support the BP purchase order. So bring it on!!! Call SEC. Don't forget that SEC also investigates the party making the complaint.
MOP management has done more due diligence to ensure everything is legit.
So you can spread that crap somewhere else.
That crap doesn't fly with me. Of course it may help some others load up for cheap in case big news comes out. hmmmmmm?
That's been conveniently thrown out all over the place.
I'll do my own FDMF research thank you.
Agree, it's horrible to watch. And the clean up will be on going...just didn't want to put an exact number on it. Very depressing stuff.
There are a few companies that can help remediate the water and land in the Gulf...but they need to be environmentally friendly. Not this toxic crap BP's been pumping out so far...
So far FDMF seems like it might be a good part of the solution.
Looks as though some are trying to create a new lower entry point, again.
MOPN is hard at work. Last I heard they were diligently working on (approximately) several joint ventures.
PR's are only a matter of time. MOP booms are in desperate need and they are ramping up production.
If BP is reaching out to Canada for booms...you know that MOP will continue to be in great need for a long time.
I assumed that's what the current funding was for??
FDMF's supplier should be able to crank up production, especially if it's already being produced ...it may take a week or two
Unfortunately, this oil disaster will be going on for several more months...and that much longer to even make a dent in the clean up.
FDMF has time to ramp up production.
That little scientist sounds a little jealous to me...lol Probably had his idea turned down by BP.
There is a big push from significant (Oceana) environmental groups right now to ensure more environmentally friendly chemicals will be used, when necessary, in the future to clean this mess. That Corexit stuff BP was using is more toxic than the oil, imo.
Still doing more research on this one but it does have some promise.
Looks like they might just need FDMF's product to do the job right! Best of all KC 9000 is environmentally friendly.
Should be 007002. em
All about perspective....could be folks are quietly loading for the anticipated news.
Doing a little more research myself.
Emailed Brian Kistler yesterday to ask some questions about their product and share structure....this was before the interview from yesterday. So not much new.
Nice find Daddy Fat Saxx! This is the second time an article has been written about MOPN by Journal of Petroleum Technology.
Good post FeanorFire....or should I say you're on fire today.
Well done.
Read that before too. I believe that's in regard to loose MOP instead of booms which are more expensive.
This is a guesstimate by JCDC for the cost of the booms:

Once again my estimates (probably way low or off):
So I got to thinking about the tractor trailer sizes. I Googled the average lengths, widths, heights, etc. Average length =60-70 feet. Width 8 feet and height about the same.
Now imagine the 8" booms (the largest mopn supplies) stacked floor to ceiling. Whether they choose the 10 footers or the 50 footers, it comes out about the same amount of feet of boom.
10 footers = 12 booms wide, 12 booms high, 6 rows deep. 144 x 6 =864 booms per tractor trailer or x 3 trailers = 2592 10´booms.
MOPs price on the website is $128 per boom (although they said they lowered their prices) but at 128 = $331,776 on this first order and once again the PR says weekly orders thereafter.
Even if they get the 50 footers, its about the same, around 25k feet of boom. Really not alot considering the situation but shows that there will be hundreds and hundreds of miles needed still not to mention the loose product for the future.
These are all just my imaginary numbers based on the size of tractor trailers and I am sure I am (hope I am) off by a long-shot. Since those are the only specifics the company gave, we just have to speculate a bit. I am sure the relationship and use of MOP by bp will extend into the multi-millions over the next few years. Once again, speculation on my part. (Economically, BP would save about 200 bucks per boom if they purchase the 50 footers)

Raj knows his stuff...and the O/S is locked up pretty tight right now except for the small float.
Below is my opinion of worst case scenario regarding funding, imo, which I've stated before. (from last weekend)

Ok let's take a look at worst case scenario then and see what might happen if dilution were needed. It shouldn't be due to the BP contract but lets take a look anyway.
The pps is currently at ~.07, which is key here. (Although, I would share your concern if the pps was still in the .00 or .000 range though.)
So, at this time, if Charles Diamond needs let's say $500,000 cash right now to ramp up operations and expansion then most likely an investor would be seeking shares in exchange for his/her cash investment at a pps of .05 or .06 for their money.
So we'll use .05 in this example then.
$500,000 / .05 pps would give the investor 10 million shares.
An additional 10 million shares to our OS or float is nothing especially since both are so small anyway. Even if it were 20 million shares, at this pps is nothing especially with the new BP contract which will be funding MOPN for a long time, imo.
Dilution fears are unwarranted at this time especially now that serious contracts are coming in ... BP as a main source of revenue is huge here! The BP contract alone will provide MOPN with the back up they need for a regular loan from a bank.
Good post FeanorFire....got the impression from Brian Kristler's interview that news could be this week or next due to multiple irons in the fire.
Product has promise for restoring the land/water. The Gulf is an enormous clean up job that will last months...or more. A lot of help needed in many different forms in order to restore the land and water there.
It'll be interesting, to say the least, as to what get's announced over the coming days and into next week.

Looks like the company is busy working...and you were lucky to get a reply!
Let's leave MOP to do their work now and not inundate them massive email's from impatient investors. Just wastes precious time they could be using elsewhere.
PR's will be released when real news is available.
A little short term pain...for immediate revenues. Happens all the time. With the volume this stock is capable of it won't take long to burn through the needed funding...better done before big news hits, imo.
If dilution is finished before big news hits, possibly next week, then this stock will have a nice run.
Raising funds through a 504 is not considered toxic financing.
Wrong usage of term. You may not like it but it's not toxic.
If funds are raised for product, for immediate sales....then it's worth it.
Have had Tony, from seaboard, process stocks for me before. Interesting that they're sitting on FDMF now. hmmmmmn.
Are they raising cash to fill orders and expand due to the Gulf Oil Spill...if so then news could very well be around the corner.
Interested, if anyone has more details...if this product is used to remove deep settled oil - is it really green?
Can't stand that Corexit being used anymore. TIA
Completely legitimate PR Friday. Thanks for the opportunity to post this yet again.
That's right sunshine...get the facts straight :)
One more time: BP has known about MOP for many years and when this Gulf Oil disaster hit, according to Wayne King, VP of MOP, MOP submitted BP's letter of approval to BP which is essentially why MOPN was put on BP's resource list, to start.
And Friday's PR outlining BP's purchase order of MOP boom...is the rest of the story.
Quote:During four separate occasions we have had the opportunity to observe the MOP® absorbent product's performance. Three were hard surface spills of various hydrocarbon products (i.e. 30w oil, transmission fluid, heavy naphtha, diesel oil, and blended heavy sop oils). On each occasion the absorbents picked up all of the products leaving no apparent residue. We mixed water at some sights and the hydrophobic properties allowed the absorbent to hold the products while allowing the water to run free and clean of oil.
The other test was with booms and pillows in shore line fresh water. The booms and pillows performed above the standards established by other booms (1.e. polypropylene). The booms had excellent penetration and adequately contained the product spill.
The material is light weight and more economical than the competitive brands we have used. We are extremely pleased with its performance and cost, and would recommend serious consideration of the product before using an alternative.

Absolutely Gopher...MOP is focused on the job at hand...gernerating business and filling orders.
MOPN has done a nice job of only putting out legit PR's. It may take a little longer to hear from them but it's obviously worth the wait.
We need to let them get on with their work...more PR's will come when ready.
Good Morning All...good post FeanorFire...MOP ran hard and fast yesterday for sure. Profit takers kicking in this morning.
Very good, thanks rkor!
Still trying to buy MOPN cheap ... me too. I'll buy more on dips and still contribute DD!

Wow! not even an hour of trading yet...looking good.
First dip for the day...getting ready for the next round.
Should get some steady news from MOP as more orders come in for product.
Totally agree with you me2...MOP is the best choice.
Absolutely FeanorFire, MOP is far from a one hit wonder. BP will be cleaning up for years and just the free advertising alone with MOP's name on their booms during a massive clean up effort is priceless.
I like this PR in particular. Shows MOP is already an international company!
MOPN Expands Distributorship Into South America Confirming Arrival of the First 40 Foot Container of MOP Maximum Oil Pickup
BATH, NH -- (Marketwire)
05/21/10
MOP Environmental Solutions, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: MOPN) is pleased to announce APDProyectos Cia Ltda, the Exclusive Distributor for MOP Environmental's oil recovery products in Ecuador and Peru, has just confirmed with great enthusiasm the arrival of their first 40 ft container of MOP products manufactured and shipped from MOP Environmental's Bath, NH manufacturing facility.
Charles Diamond, MOP Environmental President and CEO, stated, "If you've been following our progress you may recall that earlier this year, Executives from APDProyectos Cia Ltda visited our MOP plant in Bath, NH where they were shown MOP's newest oil-contaminated-soil cleanup equipment, termed MOP®-RESCUE? (Rapid Environmental Spill Clean Up Equipment), in action. The Principals of the company witnessed the process and equipment RAPIDLY, REMOVE the oil, CLEAN the soil, and RECOVER the oil, from all types of oil saturated soil with each batch completed in less than 10 minutes. After the demonstration APDProyectos Cia Ltda committed to a distributorship for Ecuador and Peru, together with their first 40 foot container order."
"So what's the big deal with landing a distributor in Ecuador?" asks Mr. Diamond, "Well here's the answer. The intended use of the MOP®-RESCUE? process is to remedy the vast Ecuadorian oil spill that is primarily on land, a problem that prior to our MOP®-RESCUE? technology, has been without an answer! This oil spill involves more oil than the EXXON Valdez and current Gulf of Mexico oil spills. The damage was caused from 18 billion gallons of spilled oil and liquid hydrocarbons that covers 1,700 square miles. The challenges of oil spill remediation in Ecuador will conclusively establish, once and for all, the uniqueness, effectiveness and essential importance of both our MOP Maximum Oil Pickup and the new MOP®-RESCUE? technology( ) as the quintessential oil spill remediation technique for effective remediation of the largest and most problematic of oil spills on our planet."
Mr. Diamond continued by saying, "Even as we continue to negotiate with major parties in the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill and add additional representatives on the ground in the Gulf area, the significance of our unique product is gaining important political attention. We are also keeping an eye on expanding our business opportunities in the international arena. This container load to our distributor in Ecuador, plus ongoing efforts in Baku, Azerbaijan, is anticipated to bolster our efforts and recognition, helping us to open up more international markets for our MOP line of products."
Mr. Diamond also cited recent distribution agreements presently being negotiated for Nigeria, Malaysia, and Ghana as well as India, China and, Indonesia. He also stated, "We have a solid product that is clearly the best of its class in a multi billion dollar market. MOP easily demonstrates its superiority and with our new MOP®-RESCUE? technology( ) and due to the recent oil spill in the Gulf, our days are filled with much new domestic and international interest."
"The Ecuadorians learned of us from an article in the Official Publication of The Society of Petroleum Engineers that explains our profitable, holistic approach to oil-spill cleanup. Stay tuned! We contend that our new MOP®-RESCUE? process is destined to be recognized as the fastest, lowest cost method to remediate oil-contaminated soil, accomplishing on-site, a complete restoration of the land's value for agricultural, recreational, or commercial use. Our MOP® sorbent product works in unison with our new MOP®-RESCUE (Provisional Patent Filed), technology," said Diamond, noting, "The time is right for our new technology to be recognized and funded in time to thoroughly and quickly RESCUE the beaches along the Gulf Coast should the need arise."

Matter of Trust was the organization that was coordinating the effort for the hair booms. BP has rejected their use.
I contacted Matter of Trust and told them about MOP Environmental Solutions. I was told MoT was sending in a list of alternative suggestions to BP and that they would put MOP on their list.
One more time: BP has known about MOP for many years and when this Gulf Oil disaster hit, according to Wayne King, VP of MOP, MOP submitted BP's letter of approval to BP which is essentially why MOPN was put on BP's resource list, to start.

I just cringe when I see that Corexit is still being used. Crazy!
Just not buying into all that BP propaganda about it.
Hey finishgreen, less than 14 hours until opening MOPN bell. :)
email: alliecorp1000@gmail.com
Looks like many are trying to create a cheap MOPN entry point on Monday.
Hey, we tried to tell them :)
Can't see the CEO of MOP dumping shares as he owns the majority of the OS which would be just over a 100 Million shares. If this stock rides to $1 or so...and it very well could with such a small float, then it would make more sense to wait and only add 1 million more shares, for example, to the OS when it hits a buck.
Personally, if I knew significant revenue was coming, I'd be careful not to let too many more hands in the share pot than necessary. Only what is needed short term.
Why excessively dilute your own shares now? Revenue from BP is here and not going away any time soon.
JCDC...your estimates are quite good. BP will desperately need regular orders from MOP and their current order is significant in terms of revenue.
Also, MOP has been anticipating the need to supply boom to BP's order for a few weeks. No doubt MOP is ready for the challenge.
