Arris is down 4% AH, down just over 1% during regular trading. They had a good day yesterday.
hi jbbb, thanks for the reply - I did Google it and got conflicting info, as you said, many answers. I'm not a technical guy I'm afraid, I'm m more subjective in my investing.
jbbb - pardon my ignorance, but could explain what the significance of the gap is and the significance of it not closing? I assume it is a reference to the trading chart for UOIP?
There are far too many variables for anyone to be able to give you an accurate answer to your questions about when a settlement or buyout will occur. Be patient.
I agree....and with the stature of the law firm and the attorneys working this case on contingency (I'm assuming that) I'm confident they've thought all this through.
For those of us that are new here, where is it that you see this going?
And on an uptick....
Volume just under 15 million shares, last trade for 577 shares....I wonder if that's a MM signal of some sort?
Which means no significant # of shares are available?
Hmmm....temporary drop to .0532.....
thanks
Link to the GS article/downgrade?
12 hours and 25 minutes until the market opens...….
Many thanks!
Hmmm....it occurred to me that a wise move for tomorrow may be to sell all the "clinkers" in my portfolio that are way down and put the money in more UOIP shares.....I believe I'll do just that. That's how I funded some of my original purchases of UOIP....
Will do, many thanks!
I upped my GTC sell order on Friday in my TD account and it set an expiration date of 10/25/18.....with your information I'll poke around in the "orders" and see if I can make it open-ended. Thanks.
Agree with Gmc2020 on this, it won't matter if you get lucky at .033 or have to pay .10, if things go the way they seem to be heading you won't care.
I'd think that just members of this board will move the price up at open on Monday. I'm still thinking about whether I'll be among them....
Is your $2/share buyout figure purely hypothetical or do you feel it is likely?
Thanks for all the work you've done on UOIP.
Thanks for all your work on UOIP, zomby…..
In an earlier post a member floated the idea of contacting any authors that have done articles or blogs on UOIP or Arris. If you know anyone, I'd think they would appreciate any data/information on UOIP that would enable an article. I'd think any publicity on the suit, volume, price etc will just help move UOIP along in the coming week.
This must be like Christmas morning for all of you that have been in UOIP for a long time - I've only been along for the ride since early May and I'm having a great time. This is a great board.
What fun, over 10 million volume, .04
I'm watching my TD account, UOIP just hit .04!
Where are the shares coming from????
When did the 6 million shares sell? My TD account shows volume of 3.6 million today.
Thanks.
Cool handle, BTW
Thank you. Google wasn't helpful....
Hi rstar…..forgive my ignorance, what's NITE in your post?
Thanks....
Not you - I meant the poster. It would actually be interesting to see if there were a similar message.
We have Wave Communications internet, phone and TV service. Our cable box was giving us trouble and Wave sent a tech to check it out....he wound up replacing the old box with - guess what? An Arris box..... I had to laugh at the irony of the situation when I noticed that....
Agree with that.....maybe they think they can flip but I wouldn't try.
That's what I was wondering in the post.
Exactly....but people do strange things....
I wonder if the MM's are going after stop-loss orders.....
Be careful where you set or if you set stop-loss orders....
Agree, hopefully there will be news to boost UOIP....maybe the SA article on Arris will help.
BTW, the post you referred to in the message is deleted. But, thanks.
Thanks, both of you.....for the information and, Scruffer, the links. Very informative.
Thanks for the links Scruffer…
In the UOIP link I found a section on Short Interest and don't understand the following line:
"Short Interest
381,469 (742.34%) 06/15/2018"
Based on the number of shares, that % doesn't make sense. Do you have any clue what it means?
Thanks and happy Independence Day to you and everyone!
Now that would work......
Thanks, I posted it in the SA comment section.
Hi Zombywolf…..the SA contributor that wrote the negative Arris article asked about relevant upcoming dates for the UOIP suit - I don't want to post incorrect or uninformed information - could you or Scruffer do so....in the interest of accuracy....thanks.
Well....the SA article is an opportunity to get the UOIP case in a more public space - if someone here that is more knowledgeable than I am (probably most of you) replies to the article, maybe the author will follow up on it - he's short Arris after all, so any chance he has to put negative information out will help his cause....
