Here comes .60 test!
Really impressed with the movement here, glad I kept some shares
Congrats to those vapers who held through the stormy split!
I couldn't do it, made enough on the .08 to .40 pre split.
Looks like a good one to get back in when the funds are available
Just sold an alternate stock for more Righ - will have to see what happens
Still very little money in this one, but for the amount of shares and potential
To move - I'm willing to take that risk
Anddddd in we go to .40 - can she hold above this for the next couple days? Time will tell
Growlife used to have sgsensors that was supposed to be tech to monitor grow rooms from video or regulate them from a device such as a phone.
As I understand this company was cut out of the Growlife brand because they fell behind. It will probably develop later on under its own momentum. That or an alternate
Security firm will step in and make grow monitor equipment with all the bells and whistles.
Yup, last pullback on earnings hurt.
Wonder if it will be as severe this time? Will they blow out expectations? Remain cash negative due to acquisitions?
Can't wait to peruse that document.
Set to bust through .50 OR WHAT?!
Not too late to change your vote old sport - I submitted my original vote pre-fitx and well before the other deals.
Just changed it so I no longer have that weighing on my conscience.
Best if luck all! Back to work - so hard to stop watching.
Hey ribz - I'm at work so I can't go into much detail.
It's a shareholder meeting to raise share count. Keep in mind the difference between o/s and a/s.
The fear against this is negative dilution. The positive of this is to allow Growlife to expand and enact their full business plan.
That is the only way i would recommend doing it.
As mentioned before, it should be emailed to you. Try searching your inbox for the word proxy. Perhaps contact the company your investment is with and see if you can get access somehow.
Blu and ablivious - THANKS
Just voted FOR and submitted my confirmation.
Sent Kurt a thank you note for all his responses.
Now if only I had more money to invest.
You should have it in your email from your broker.
I voted no because I'm an idiot and jumped the gun due to impatience.
Too bad I can't change my vote. They definitely converted me into a believer.
Haha I imagined the initial reaction, "that jerk!" - thought you'd like that.
I know very little about this new CBD company, but I know enough to say this is absolutely the right direction.
I am glad to have held on to my Trtc shares, though my stake is probably smaller than a lot of longs here.
We were just given a compass pointing into the mj industry. Something many pot stock investors needed to hear IMO.
No not really.
Hahaha just kidding man, this is just SOME of the news I was waiting for. Congratulations in the first confirmed entrance into the world of cannabinoids.
No way someone can say it is just pure speculation of Mj involvement at this point. This is telling investors that Derek and Trtc are serious about entering the Mj industry.
I will of course have to research this new company developing CBD supplements, but some of those clouds in the sky definitely just disappeared. Nice!
Passed that .37 resistance.
Going to stop watching for a bit. Must concentrate on day job.
I'll wait for monkey to pm that to you. I'm waiting on next paycheck to shoot him some dough.
Monkey know that I've kept your pm's and will be sending after 2/15! I also enjoy your recent recommendation but have done no research on it yet.
The big question is if he separates current pot plays with potential pot plays.
Hopefully the big boys get their names mentioned and this doesn't turn out to be a mdbx and mjna endorsement.
He may be a nut job, but even someone with a peanut IQ can identify Growlife as a winner in this industry.
What is done in darkness will come to light, very soon.
Glta!
Thank you for the input and informative take on the company!
Your attention here is well appreciated and I would like to see more of your well thought out posts referring to 'owning a garden center'.
Laugh out loud comedy is hard to come by these days.
As a shareholder it would be a terrific contract.
As an industry supporter for nearly a decade, it would be a violation of precious herb.
Cash is king though, and I guess a contract with PM would up the price enough for me to finally pursue my own goals for the industry.
It's as easy to be a pumper as it is a basher.
The truth is usually in the middle, but I'm still high on Trtc.
I've seen and felt your disappointment with other stocks in the Mj industry first hand. I can only hope it has built tolerance and patience for you on the road ahead.
My investing motto is that if I trust management with my money into their business plan, it won't matter what others are saying. Makes for great debating here, though some of it wasteful.
Though we aren't yet officially into the industry yet, Trtc is by far the best speculative Mj play. There are current bests in the Mj industry at the moment (just my opinion guys, don't want to hurt any feelings).
It will be interesting to see if top players battle for their own slices or join forces in the coming years.
My thoughts are eventual consolidation of the industry and we get less than 10 really involved Mj companies that are contenders.
Someone mentioned Derek would grow for Phillip Morris... God I hope that isn't true. While that will be great for us shareholders on $$$ purposes - I don't think PM deserves anything unless they plan on enabling Trtc to grow with highest quality over highest quantity.
I know of only one other company that fits your description, as do you =)
Funny how these stock boards change. During break outs, each board is cheering, pats on the back, plans for celebration.
Then on down days you get a select amount of bashers that come in, ready to capitalize on fear. Some people decide to leave stocks due to bashers or several down days. They let fear instead of knowledge take over.
Sounds familiar huh?
I don't think it would even be wise for Trtc to get into hemp in the first place unless there is some new amazing strain of it that needs a more regulated form of growing.
Besides the fact that farmers will overload the market with cheap hemp and completely dominate it with their oversized plots.
Nope, they're better off sticking to Mj and allocating all their resources to it. You can still grow high CBD strains and produce hash off the lower quality stuff.
Unless they have a specific set up already in place for hemp cultivation, Trtc would pay the 'opportunity cost' not to allocate all of their resources to growing cannabis.
They're two separate companies.
I guess you could call the other stock a competitor, but they're two mostly different plays.
Sometimes they move together, sometimes one will be up and the other will be down. Trtc rose for the past couple weeks, so consolidation is expected.
You are comparing two different beasts. One with years of Mj industry experience and one with years of hydroponic grow experience.
Ok now I have to ask. Conflicting reports.
Did Derek not announce he was getting out of the grow supply sales portion of this industry?
Same page here, let's all get on it.
P.s. - I think Bgrass is just a dedicated basher no matter what you say.
Do you have information that they are not? That they will just sell 'lamps'? Fairly ignorant post, but you already knew that.
Joke is on you, but that's quite alright.
You sure seem mad for someone that just made 300 large.
He comes in here steaming mad whenever mjna has down days.
Jimmy are you referring to the SA article about CA legalization and how it won't affect private grower sales?
That's almost 100% correct - individuals who want to grow in California have probably already bought med cards and are already growing for themselves.
What full scale legalization offers is big grower money, I wouldn't want to concern myself with small buyers or even solely on equipment with Growlife at this point.
Best of luck with mjna!
Thank you for that post.
The issue I'm really seeing between longs here is clarity. When socializing on the weekends I will talk about Trtc as one of my top 3 - but I am very careful to tell friends or fellow investors where we are now, at this very moment - BEFORE advising on the plans Trtc has to make moves in the sector.
Announcing intentions is not the same as actively involved in the Mj sector, and if we come across too hard with the point of Mj, it will make us seem desperate and deceitful.
Investors will do their DD, realize there is no concrete activity yet and in their impatience - may select an alternate of many currently hands on Mj stocks.
One thing I like most about prominent stocks in this sector is the stepping stone approach. Trtc will use their legitimate businesses as a stepping stone into the sector.
I still think they could do more to get a foot in the door. It's not illegal to contract out your hydro experts as consultants or advisors to legal areas in order to make some $ and get your name out there. I would like to see something like this mini stepping stone next.
Bgrass- though I'm not fond of how down you are on Trtc, it is correct that this is currently speculative to engage the Mj industry. They have set expectations and plans now that reference their plans - though these are not yet actions.
Alternative to your comment, Trtc has rocketed up on days where many Mj stocks have remained stagnant.
I hold Trtc for several reasons and one of those is for the legitimate business they currently operate. I know owning this company that even if the Mj side doesn't work out, that it will still crank $$.
I like their plans. I like where they are aiming here.
Until these plans are action we are much better off touting the legally sustainable section of this excellent company and how it will support the future goals of getting into the Mj industry.
I see a lot of new people coming in saying they got into this as the best Mj play. Trtc will no doubt likely be one of the best in the coming wave of legalization. It is important for us to be aware that this hydroponics company will be able to support that transition with the fully legal business they currently operate.
You have a market highly skeptical, but gaining steam on the Mj industry little by little.
I think we do a disservice to the company and other investors to consider this solely an Mj play.
Well any negative comments on Mj shouldn't affect us in Trtc because we have absolutely no current activity in that market at this time.
Which sector? Hydroponic produce growing or companies who have potential in the Mj industry?
I believe the edible garden could keep the price steady.
It's true that this stock is playing with Mj speculation and seeing both positives and negatives from directly associating with the industry.
Fact remains there is no timeline as to when a 'conversion' of grow sites could take place.
Also once authorized, the produce grown will have to run it's course for harvest. Everything will need to be cleaned and sanitized before the real cash crop gets put in.
I believe they will do this as soon as they can, but that timeline could be anywhere from 1 month to 2 years. In the meantime, I think their legal source of revenue will keep them up.
I imagine the decision is very tough for Derek - to risk public company by going in too early or to wait until fully allowed to strike. Until they can get hands on, I wish they'd tell us some small steps they're taking to get their foot in the door with the Mj in some
Legal way.
I think for the PR of fitx/cen was for the shareholders to know. It gave shareholders confidence in the yes vote prior to the meeting.
But as for the deal Sterling and Bill made? Talks had to have started well before we knew about it. I would think he was very sure of a yes vote ever since those talks started.
Let me first say that I think it has 2 chances to dip. One in anticipation of the tally and one at the outcome.
My opinion in the beginning of this, was a no vote would be best. I even voted no. Now I'm thinking it wasn't the right decision.
There's no telling how many people felt the same way I did and voted no, but the odds are in favor of a yes vote.
I believe if it gets the no vote, the dip will probably have a deeper and longer life. Could it see teens again? Maybe.
With a yes vote I think the dip will be shorter, maybe only get us somewhere in the mid low .20's before the trampoline.
Then some more speculations, how much do we gain or drop until Friday? If we touch .40+ before vote, then the expected dip changes and possibility of sub .20 becomes more scarce.
Then close to impossible speculation - what if there is no serious dip?
A yes vote would show investors have trusted what management is doing thus far and will continue to do so.
I feel the only benefit to a no outcome would be a stronger shake, leading to eventual high buying pressure - but it would show a lack of confidence that might keep it down longer.
I would advise adding in small increments and saving large positions for dips that can usually be seen 10-11 AM and sometimes at noon EST.
The vote is a big maybe day - don't think any of us can say for sure.
Monkey would you mind sending me a private message with either your paypal or email information?
I haven't ponied up the dough for full membership here yet since I rather limit my spending sprees being bad enough as they are already. I am therefore unable to reply to pm's.
Honestly I'd almost rather send you a gift, just got a nice new citizen and Nixon watch. Since cash is king, I figured that would be best though.
Agreed.
Though there are a few other good looking plays out there, THIS company is the deepest involved with the Mj industry and has the most experience at this time.
There are companies out there gaining massive steam with nothing but a few PR's that they may enter the cannabis sector one day. Growlife has been in it for years.
With this extra money and momentum in Canada, Growlife should be locked and loaded to cross into Mj production in the states once authorized.
So you expect plpe--> vape will acquire not one but both?
Don't get me wrong, I made a small fortune with plpe back before the split - but in business terms it would just seem odd for a relatively smaller vaporizer company to take over a large equipment and regulatory supplier plus a Canadian producer of large amounts of Mj.
However, perhaps if you are right, Kyle Tracy created vape as a new home for both in the future. I would rather the main company name be Growlife as opposed to vape though.
