k_w: One point that needs to be addressed in the give and take regarding SP is that many of the otc companies which have made substantial gains over the last ten years have 'no value', are emply shells that have been manipulated by fraudulent claims while IGEN has material value as a real company. (The ownership of shares by a highly respected BOD, including NGChan) says a lot about the consensus by board members who likely are in the know where shareholders are not. The few men Wells, Nealon, Friedman, Chan and Sierra are all highly accomplished in their fields and their presence on the board should not be underestimated.
We know that once the company is able to present real positive figures, the 'destruction' will change; but depending on certain news regarding a contract(s) or the patent could even bring earlier relief to shareholders.
It is possible that holders of large quantities of shares have the capacity to sell big blocks, thus negatively affecting price and may have done so.
Also, shareholders, board members and likely people serving in the very industries served by the patent recognize its value, thus the steady rising accumulation factor over two years. I believe that the DTS for the data it provides (as you have pointed out) is extremely valuable and to all the entities it affects (credit unions, insurance cos, govt agencies, auto manufacturers, and families) but the lack of meaningful marketing has kept it all known only to a few.
So, yes manipulation, poor maketing and the lack of positive cash flow together have brought us to this point, imo. (Im not going to address the viable reasons the aforementioned were largely unavoidable.)
"Let’s not forget the data collected from the 60,000 to 70,000 units. Data is a hot item when it comes to insurance companies. Also, this has been held down for two years while someone is loading up. It’s obviously Wall Street keeping it down."
I think this is an extremely salient point that SgtT makes and the first time I've seen this particular point (the value of the 60K to 90K existing participants.)
As I recall there was a post or an article that mentioned USAA, Progressive and State Farm that had violated patent law by using protected material in that patent...I hope someone can put a finger on that report.
We (investors) seem to be hungup right now as to whether there has been a violation of the patent.
Tesla, we now know (Thank you to k_w's fine investigative efforts) is using IGEN technology in its auto insurance coverage.
In spite of Tesla's recorded lawsuits, I am hesitant to think that they may have illegally used the patented data, basically thumbing their noses at little tech company igen.
The references Chan has made periodically to Tesla and its insurance trials feels ever so 'comfortable' in their presentations to even hint at a conflict; and, a sense that two wealthy and extremely driven and busy business owners would even think twice at a contentious and drawn out lawsuit an acceptable means to resolve an issue is beyond my understanding.
This all leaves me thinking that #1 We have a licensing deal with Tesla or #2, and a lesser possibility, that Tesla/Musk has made a reasonable offer to purchase igen.
You are welcome, ET!!! <3
Very interesting. Hmmm...

"Tesla is one of the first EV manufacturers that is recovering data ....."
The very last paragraph.
It sounds as if chan is saying, there are other EV vehicle mnftrs that are using the DTS.
Not to mention today was the last day of Agent Summit, LV which is the biggest semi-annual event for corporations and IGEN was there in Booth 312!.
Telematics Drives Signature...what it means:
Tesla charges premiums based on real-time driving data used to compile a monthly safety score. We heard about these scores when the company expanded its controversial Full Self-Driving beta program to more drivers, but there’s an insurance element to it, as well.
Five factors impact a safety score: forward collision warnings per 1,000 miles, hard braking, aggressive turning, unsafe following and forced Autopilot disengagement. This differs from traditional determinants such as credit score or age.
“We assume a Safety Score of 90 when you first sign up,” Tesla says on its website. “Your premium can adjust monthly based on your Safety Score. The higher your score is, the lower your premium can be. Tesla will always notify you in advance of your new monthly premium....................It’s hard to argue with a product that incentivizes safer driving with lower cost to consumers. That said, it’s worth noting that Tesla markets its products with mixed messages from a safety perspective, often putting heavy emphasis on zero-to-60 acceleration times. There have been plenty of crashes — some of them fatal — involving Tesla drivers traveling at high speeds. Just this month, one careened into an Ohio convention center at about 70 miles per hour. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured or killed.” Think of what this information means to Allstate, Progressive, USAA, State Farm, Liberty Mutual...etc,, etc,..not to mention County Execs of America, GSA/VA NewYork, California, Detroit, Chicago, etc., Credit Unions, Auto Dealerships, and how many millions of American families.

I may run out of posts for the day, k_w...But, I want to think about this...One point, there has never been a hint of disgruntled with Tesla in any of Chan's posts...
I may have to eml any further discussion as I've a feeling this may be the last post for the day. I appreciate the opportunity to throw these ideas around as it is likely the best way to get to the bottom-or close. TY.
I do think, for the first time that Tesla is involved with IGEN. I don't think either ceo wants a lawsuit-it's an unnecessary waste of either chan or musk's time and money.
Yes, it would seem to follow that the 'crumbs' he's dropped are the allowances he's made to his 'vacuum-sealed' lips that do not permit any more information out than he, alone would dictate.
I also don't think he has that much disdain for shareholders that he would drop the hints just to torture his investors. He's a professional businessman-at the very least.
Perhaps, DK; however, I'm sure Musk would have had a team of patent attys go through his documents with a fine tooth comb. All this is a matter of public record and even media outlets have telegraphed IGEN's 5G AI Telematics Drivers Signature...?
If Tesla were not involved with iGen in some capacity after Neil twice waved such blatant items before shareholders, I would have to believe that Neil Chan has either a malicious intent or a mental disorder-both of which are simply not possible.
Double-K: Thank you for your reply.
Let's take these possibilities and see if we shareholders can come up with the 'likeliest'-----as we are all so tired of the suspense...
1) Take 'patent infringement' possibility: I think highly unlikely. I don't see EM taking such an expensive and under-handed move. Also, Neil and Elon may have been 'in talks' as far back as 2020, and Neil's 'tease' which now appears to be exactly that, was only the beginning.
2) EM has bought out iGen: I think also highly unlikely. Regardless of his ability to do so, he didn't need any but the one most meaningful aspect, 'the Telematics Drivers Signature' portion*, so 'Why buy the cow?' becomes a factor;
3) EM has licensed the patent for the 'Telematics Drivers Signature', and for monthly/annual payments-mere pocket change to him he can have the one piece he needed and iGen still owns the patent and can continue to 'grow' the value of the company. * If this were to be the case I'm wondering about 'timing', since this move would allow Tesla to have a significant lead over other cos. making a similar 'licensing deal' with iGen only until competing cos made a similar move.
I look forward to hearing others share their thoughts about what is going on.
Agent Summit, Las Vegas May 15-18....
Today is the last day of the Agent Summit Conference.
And today IGEN posted Bloomberg's headline about Tesla Insurance.
Intended or not, there is a connection; just a matter of figuring out which way will this slide-none of which should be a negative for iGen Networks Corporation.
Neil reminds me of the Grimm's fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel".
Thank you Double-K; my apologies for the oversight.
As I see it there are three possibilities: Either iGen has made a deal with Tesla to license the patent, which would provide a sizable periodic influx of capital to iGen Networks; or, Tesla has bought the company; or, Tesla is in deep trouble having infringed on an iGen Networks patent
What do the following have in common?
; andBloomberg Hyperdrive article today on Tesla Insurance sounds very familiar…

Second that, "Thank you! Brandon."
Thank you, k_w!
Where is our 'bright light' at the end of this very dark tunnel?
The Patent=the Product, has only been out 11+ months. And from the news, CSE Form7 April he's "on it"!
"5G AI Telematics Drivers Signature Patent" - Who else has got it? 20X faster than 4G; 'Drivers Signature' reads driver's behavior...No one else has it. It's patented; IGEN has it. What auto insurer wouldn't want it??? What dealership wouldn't want it installed....dealerships along the southern border, eg: AZ, CA, TX. ????
Dear Neil: IGEN is soon to hit .003. Loyal shareholders have held on for two difficult years-or longer; need your help. IGEN shareholders need a 'strong' PR-soon.
Thank you.

or Patent evaluation. Why set us up for the let-downs. Do we not acknowledge this is what's been happening consistently? We were told the PE would be completed by EOQ which was almost one and one half mos ago.
Yup! That's what I'm talking about...Not even a mention of progress on NYState.
Sorry, Sarge I've heard this before-last September-sounds good, but no signed contracts that have been revealed to shareholders, tho! Same "promises"----"Where's the beef?"
I don't believe i coincidences, tho.
