CSP- Sorry about Zoe -
It's always a tough thing. My last two dogs were cremated and are buried by our big tree. I know how you feel and am with you in sympthay.
Former IMF economist -
Not a compelling argument. Must have needed some chump change for appearing on CNBC.
More foolish talk of a China 'collapse' coming up on CNBC. Stupid as it is, many will listen and swallow it hook, line, and sinker.
BSPM - trading now like the estimated earnings for 2009 will be the same for 2010. Growth is being ignored.
BSPM - seems they 'promised' Barrons Investors to uplist.
And late March is the target date.
Interesting. They certainly have accumulated lots of contracts. However, with no revenue projections it's difficult to say what this company might be worth with 53M shares outstanding. Will be looking forward to 15 May to see how they do.
BSPM - Here is the new China conservitism -
Not you guys but the market, rating BSPM on last years results rather than the growth. After ~ 15 Jan. this is the new approach to CGSs - SHOW ME.
10K due NLT 30 Mar.
I posted the 10Q due on 15 Feb. in error. Sorry.
Not frustrated -
Have noted that there is no hurry to buy many of my favorites. They hardly go up, but they also don't go down. With a pile of cash I can buy them at any time. So to me, now, cash is king.
So, they're starting to act like Americans?
I hope they continue to act like hard working and propersus Chinese. Not so sure about those Americans anymore.
Been holding off on this post, but not any more -
DOW up 100, I have a board full of stocks with PEs of 3 - 5, and most are in the red with a few up 2%. This makes no sense. It is obvious that there will be no significant movement until actual earnings are reported even though we know what they will be within 10%. This is not November, but what actually is happening is beyond me. Do people actually believe the 'China bubble' articles?
NEP Restatement is a four letter word -
Jo Teng is right. People will sell, sell, sell. SGZH annaounced restatements for three quarters. Now I can't predict in the NEP case, but for SGZH, one quater was unchanged, one earnings went down 4%, and one up 4%. Ho, hum.
Chinese invest in US markets? -
If true, they can now invest in stocks that don't have PEs od 20-30 like in Shanghai. I'll bet they invest in what they know, US registered China stocks.
SGZH - They have a history of filing on time, last day possible, so 30 March will be it.
So what's happening friends -
Late last year these stocks would run to where the earnings were reasonably predicted to be and for the appropriate PE for the industry.
Now, we are into SHOW ME. The prices roll with the DOW, totally unrelated. When the SEC reports come out then the stocks will respond, and it will be dynamic.
Just my opinion.
KNDI - Again from Yahoo -
Reason for KNDI jump today. KNDI was added to the CoolCat small cap. list this am.
http://www.coolcatreport.com/
It's subscription so I don't have the report.
KNDI - Recall I wondered if the Gov. aid applied to the KNDI car?
This, from Yahoo, seems to think so.
A New Electric Car in the U.S., the Kandi Coco-522
http://www.soluscorp.com/Compaign.html?_kk=kandi%20coco&_kt=45175f82-ec34-4a06-a7e3-81a55492f373&gclid=CKbyxOPohqACFRYoawodAihfrg
The car was designed by Chinese car manufacturer Kandi Technologies and originated from China. The car will run at only 25mph and for 60 miles. It completely recharges in 7 hours.
The car lists for $10,599 U.S. dollars. However, since it is entitled to government financial aid ($4,435 dollars) and to a rebate/discount of $5,299, it costs buyers a mere $865 U.S. dollars! They say it is only available in OK. I'm not sure of that. I find dealers here in AZ.
PUDA - good buys here-
KNDI - Only a guess -
Of course it could be some insider has a REAL reason for it go up. I'll hope for #2.
KNDI up, why?
I think it is because a Yahoo poster put in a comprehensive board post. In it, of course, is the key thing people see as the big potential for KNDI. They have 30 electric vehicles in test with the postal system. This could result in a contract for 300,000 more. Oops. $2.5B Of course the government will spread the total contract to other firms and get a low margin price, but there is great potential for the a company that made ~ $1M last year. BTW, they claim to have the capacity to make that many. Also, the share price has been as high as $6.75.
BTW they have some interesting things for sale here in the US. Wait for it to load:

SGZH - I often reply to myself and here at home talk to myself -
Here is the wording about the Q3 reduction in revenues:
"The decrease in sales volume was mainly due to the temporary closing of a major power plant customer for one month in July for overhauling and maintenance of its boilers."
Also forgot to mention that in order to uplist they needed to modify their Bylaws IAW SEC rules. They also did that.
Lostmyballs - SGZH -
Not much to say here. Just a stable company that had to restate their last Qs, and did. Also adding independent directors to obviously uplist. 10K comes ~ 30 Mar. Like most small companies they never put out PRs. Here is their revenues/earnings for the last three quarters and the nine month total:
20.8/9.8 24.2/11.4 9.3/2.8 and 53.2/24.1 15M Shares out
As I recall one customer dropped out in that low quarter.
Here is what ChinaStockPicker said on Friday:
"Looking at their last filing, SGZH made 1.57/share in just the first 9 months of 2009.
They should easily break $2/share for the year.
An ultra-conservative pe of 8 = $16/share.
I had forgotten how cheap this one is...
Lack of an IR firm doesn't help- I hope they'll remedy that and get a good IR firm when they uplist."
SGZH web site -
Not very current data -

No volume - no excitement - EOM
Compare the Chinese NY to our Christmas season -
Whos' economy is coming back?
TOTHE - I'm sure the Chinese do some inside trading, but I even think the US accountants and US PR folks can easily get away with it on these small China stocks. The SEC has too many other thing to do, or not do as it may be. The reason watching 'unususal' volume and price movements works so well on our stocks is that for most it's so obvious. I wouldn't try it on IBM.
I already knew about SGZH -
but when it jumped I 'suspected' someone on the inside knew something. Usually it isn't company employees but the accountants or the PR firm. Of course it's illegal to buy on inside data, so they have their grandmother to buy shares for them.
Once I saw a price bump up on a Friday, 30 Dec. I guessed that they made a positive announcment (their first profitable quarter) at their company New Years party and I bought some. Was correct. The 3 Feb. 10Q reported. It went from 0.30 to 1.20. So my opinion is there is no such thing as an 'unususal' pop in price.
SGZH - tothe, I'm only reading between the lines -
By looking at all of their filings and their web site, which is years out of date, I'm just assuming that they have had little or no help in uplisting and also due to the time it is taking them. Actually I only bought some yesterday. But I think i'm right on my assumptions.
Oh, and good morning.
CHFI had these shares at 0.33
SGZH - Reason it has been overlooked -
This is your small China company with little US connections although it is on a US exchange. Their accounting was screwed up so they had to reaccomplish their SEC reports. They want to uplist but they had to change their bylaws to conform to SEC standards. And they needed to add independent directors. These are all not 'China things'. They are in the process conforming to our rules. And the stock price will conform to our standards. That is, a minimum PE of 8 for their ~ $2.00 annual earnings. Can you do the math. Good!
Earnings flat - Yes, but in the transition they converted most lines to the new product and sold none because it was under test. And then sold none because they decided to make their own batteries for the higher profits involved and now may never sell their material to others. I'm waiting.
The company has two transitions which have halted the revenue/earning performance. They are converting to LiFePo4 material and from a provider of material for others to make batteries, to a battery maker themselves. The last vido shows batteries. If the next 10Q actually shows the impact of any transition, I don't know. But I'll wait. It will come. A $5 stock by the end statement in Sept. 2010.
Yes - big, big money -
Good reason to avoid those high visibility stocks like RINO.
Takes a long time to dump 4M shares. But CHFI must be close.
SGZH - The restated nine mo. EPS = 1.63
As a stable company that equates to ~ $2.16. Current PE at $9.00 = 4.2. Upon uplist easily up 50%+.
SGZH - Web site back up -
Only thing of excitement that I see. But after all of the restatememts and modification of the bylaws for the SEC, I guess they are ready for uplisting.
Here is your list

10K ~ 30 March
It took a moderator to put my info on CGS and I can't change it, only them.
Headly - 30 March for the 10K
If your referring to my post on EGS, for JADA I was wrong. Please also tell the Governor.
