When Can Officers Sell BVIG

Does anyone have the latest information on when officers can sell their BVIG shares? Has it changed from the original model earlier this year?

I really haven't anything definite on this in a while.

First I want to thank you for all the information and insight you have provided over the months. I cannot thank you enough for your professional, researched, posts regarding BVIG.

I agree that the next week or so could be very interesting. If RR is positive, and BVIG shares are given, it could be a win-win all the way around. I am hoping for the best.

This being said, I am wondering if the time left in the year is long enough for the distribution to take place this year. Do you think the final steps will take place this year and the actual shares reach the accounts early in January? Do you think taxes might be effecting how the company is handling this?

Would like you thoughts if you have time.

Refreshing My Memory

Thank you for the help. As I recall, the volume
patterns and types of PR are things to look
for.

An announcement of restructuring, a stock
buy back, or similar activity with more
promise to come is what I recall I should be looking for.

Such things, especially if the volume and PPS
look correct, are signs of the beginning of
a cycle. Also, there are the TA indicators as well.

I have learned a bit here and continue to do so

Skeptical by Nature - Yet SNEY

In short, I am finding SNEY to be of interest.

I do not see evidence in the volume and PPS pattern to lead me to believe this is a blatant pump and dump.

For a pinkie, the company seems to be fairly straight forth in it's PRs to the point of telling potential investors to do their DD before investing.

The personnel, and their experience, seem to be adequate as does the scope of what they are attempting with the reported resources they say they have.

Oh, and the charts do not seem to be out of the norm to me for the current status of the company. This being said, I am the first to admit I am not the TA expert some posters here have proven themselves to be.

On the negative side, I must admit I would like to see their filing status improved and a bit more information on the firms being used to help them accomplish this. Yet, personally, this is not enough to dissuade me from possibly investing what I feel to be an acceptable investment at an acceptable risk level.

Lowtrade - Help On SNEY Pattern

I am looking at SNEY. Based on part of what I have learned here, I have looked for evidence of Pond Fishing or oddities in the volume and PPS in relation to Press Releases. This being said, I would like your take on SNEY. I do not see red flags based on news or the like, but would like your analysis if you have time.

Reality Check Here - Two Reasons

If anything, it is likely to be the opposite.

I think it is quite possibly a combination of two things. First, news is not out yet and therefore the PPS has dropped. I have stated this would happen for some time now as have others. Two, it is possibly a chance for those in the know to buy more on a lower PPS in order to increase profits if positive news is coming.

Normal Emotion Play Here - Relax

The PPS action is purely the normal emotional flux you see when people are anticipating news. Nothing new here and nothing to be read into the overall picture of the stock.

It may close green today or it may not. The real story is still the results and the real gain or loss is pending on the results. Either a trip to the moon will likely happen or a fall down a well to the land of China.

Odd Indeed - No Indicative of KATX

This whole scenario does not seem indicative of KATX. I do not think it was done to leak any information before it should be released. As stated, there is the blog for that. There is also the other well known method of a PR (Press Release).

Honestly, it does lead me to question who exactly is in charge of their web page. Zwicker would be the person I would contact seeing he is supposed to be in charge of the PR, Investor Relations, and the like.

Okay, my question is if the 10Q got filed today. If not, I do think they are now late and this is not like KAT Exploration.

Also, if they filed, is there any news on when the BVIG shares are due? If not, the luster of this company will be fading in my opinion.

The Reality Isn't Hidden

Why is there so much second guessing here? In short, if the results are good for Rusty Ridge the PPS will do likely do very well. If the results are not good, it is back to waiting for developments on the other properties under the umbrella.

Is the PPS down? Yes. It is likely to go down the longer news is not known. Such is the nature of this, and other, stocks. It is normal and is to be expected.

If you are serious about KATX, buy on the dips while the news is being waited on. If you are more of a safe player, be ready with money in your account to buy the second news is released if it is positive. If you are negative, well, why would you be reading this?

Rusty Ridge News - Reality Check

I have read a lot of differing opinions of what will likely
happen if there is good news on Rusty Ridge. Some
seem to think almost nothing will happen. They seem to
use previous history and Handcamp as their grounds for prediction.

Personally, I do not think this reasoning is logical. First, no
previous events have been a big, solid proofing event
for KATX like positive news will likely be for KATX. Secondly,
Handcamp did not have a key, direct bearing on KATX as much
as it did KATG. The companies are both owned by the same
people, but they are traded independently.

If news is positive on Rusty Ridge, it will be on a key property
completely owned by KATX. This is much differnent than Handcamp.

So, in short, the lines of reasoning do not make sense to me.

I predict a huge increase in the PPS for KATX if the news is
positive. Look at similar situations with other companies which
have had similar situations.

Holding Until News Is Announced

I personally am holding off until I hear the news about Rusty Ridge. I have invested heavily in KATX only to loose money in the short term. Also, I have yet to see my KATG shares in my account.

I know Rusty Ridge has promise, but promise is not enough for me to take a large chance here. If positive news arrives, I will definitely be waiting to enter once again. If news is not positive, I will not have lost more on this stock than I already have and will hopefully recoup some of my losses when, and if, I receive my KATG shares.

I am not bashing KATX. I am only stating what I think at this moment. I think a lot of other investors are of the same mindset. If you are a larger risk taker, and it proves to be positive with RR, more power to you. I wish you the best. As for me, I cannot take that kind of risk at the moment.

Now, if I were to win the lottery, that would be another story.

Lowtrade - Question on Profit and Loss Triggers

I have read where you, and other users, have established profit and loss targets.

Is there a formula you use to help establish a profit target and a loss target or is it purely a personal choice?

The reason I am asking is I am just about ready to start trading again on a limited basis. I am taking the approach of small, limited gains in hopes of gaining back on my overall losses earlier this year.

The Shakedown and Run

Ah, and all of a sudden there is a run after the shakedown earlier this week. I have saw this before and was not surprised to see the run today.

If there is no Press Release, or other news tomorrow, I think one could still get in in the .06s and be in a decent entry position.

Then, if there is positive news on RR, it will be to da moon.

a shakedown of the pps before an expected
run.

I think this holds especially true for
a stock which has been on people's radar.

I am reading that Geotextile tubes are being used at Black Rock Canyon.

I am a newbie here and would like to know more on this type of testing for gold. I am not familiar with it, but it does seem that it is quite important at the moment.

China Connection - Choice of Person

I am thinking KAT Explorations could have picked any qualified person for the position.

Yet, they chose a person with connections to China. Also, as Glenn Beck reported earlier, China has purchased a large stake in the world's rare mineral market.

Add to this that we know there are rare minerals on the properties and things seem to become more interesting to say the least.

I found the video on the cup and handle pattern quite educational. I honestly find this board to be my primary learning source short of a book on TA I found.

I may look into TRL if the 38% is broken. As I have stated before, I have been burnt by emotional trading in the past and have been on the sidelines learning as I wait. This stock is within the range I like to invest in and is also on the big boards.

Yes, it does seem that history is overlooked here. Drilling takes time and the the process is not an overnight one by any means.

If one looks at the nature of KAT Exploration, they will likely realize they are not a company to release PRs without some substance.

In short, the process will take time and KATX is not likely to release any information until results are finalized.

This said, there is the upcoming ability for some of the members here to meet Ken upon his open invitation. Maybe some news will come from meetings with him which would not normally come via a PR. Either way, it is likely another week or so either way one looks at it.

Also, remember that this company is not one to just drop a random PR to appease people. I think when a PR comes it will have substance.

KATG Before Mid-January

Whether it be the SEC, or the lawyers, I will be satisfield if we get the KATG shares before mid-January. This would be along the original timeline to have the shares in our accounts and unrestricted.

This being said, a lot of the value of KATG is still to be determined.

It is a personal thing, but I am still not really all that happy with the way this has been handled. All this said, I reiterate that I will be satisfied as long as we have them unrestricted by mid-January.

Meanwhile, a positive drilling campaign on Rusty Ridge will more than make up for the delay in KATG.

I Am Disappointed in KATG Scenario

All being said and done, I am personally disappointed with the current KATG situation. After all, one of the strong points about KAT Exploration is their prestigious law firm in Boca Raton.

I have waited and waited on the KATG shares only to hear and see nothing. Also, my e-mail to Zwicker has not been returned on this matter.

I think a phone call is coming though I am fairly confident I will find out nothing new on this.

Oh well, now to watch Rusty Ridge and the other properties to see how they fair. Honestly, I hope they fair well and that KATG comes soon after.

Daggfish - .07 Support for How Long?

Daggfish, you have good points and I have taken note. My question is simply how long will .07 hold as support with no news from RR?

I am of the simple persuasion that some retail traders will continue to sell with lack of news from Rusty Ridge. If they do, and the MMs are expecting positive news, they will sell at the lower range.

Granted, there have not been a lot of sells below the .07 support level over the last few days. Yet, I think you see more sells at a decreasing PPS over the last four days.

I am just averaging in my head here but here is what I am seeing.

3 Days Ago - Average Buys and Sells in .077 to .079 Range
2 Days Ago - Average Buys and Sells in .072 to .076 Range
1 Day Ago - Average Buys and Sells in .068 to .072 Range
Today - Average Buys and Sells in .068 to .071 Range


The .07 may act as stronger support than I think. We will have to wait and see. Either way, I will say what I have said a few times before. If people are wanting to get in now, I think they should have limit orders placed in the upper .06 range to enter during a normal dip.

All this said, I do not think the support will fall much below .07 with so many eyes on KATX right now. In my opinion, it would take a negative PR to move it much below the .0675 to .070 range.
