Slim,
Thanks for mentioning the Government's new role in all of this. This company has some really smart people strategizing and working on it's behalf.
Think about it... the US Government wants faster upload and download and access speeds. I believe that MDGC wants to make sure that no one else can provide the government with this service but MDGC; and if they can... not by stealing their patented technology.
It's perfect posturing and positioning. I love watching this unfold.
Hey All. The "Switching From WiMAX to LTE" Story/Connection.
www.precentral.net/clearwire-changes-relationship-status-wimax-its-complicated-friends-lte
I tried to submit it with my 2AM post; didn't do it correctly; and was too tired to fix it. Take care all and let's hope for weeks of continued, good profit filled trade days with MDGC.
Hey All. I can't remember who, but someone wanted to know about The LTE and WiMAX difference and or connection.
Well, I found the article. I remembered reading it a few days ago. I just had to think of how I came about it.
insert-text-here
On a personal note: I believe that Bullish, Lucky and others are correct when they say that this company's newest exposed strength is in its' willingness to go after those companies who are stealing their very valuable technology and using it illegally for a profit.
Pursuing these companies will enpower MDGC and increase it's value two ways.
First, MDGC said that of the companies caught unlawfully using their technology, they will only license their technology to those companies that provide access to markets. I'm sure that this includes companies inside and outside of the US. In other words: quick expansion of their own "in place" technology that is more than likely already making a profit. (Nice); and
2. Large monetary settlements, fines and fees from those companies that unlawfully profitted from MDGC's patented technology. MDGC needs money... that's probably what motivated them to look into who was stealing from them. The more money they receive via fines, fees and settlements, the less likely they have to borrow; while still making millions in profits from their ongoing deals. Laymans: No debt plus millions in profit equals higher stock value.
To all who are new to this company and this board: There has been a lot of good DD done on this board; and if you take the time to read it; you'll find a great company who is going to make millionaires of those who invested heavily. Good luck. Like Lucky says...Hold Em!
Bullish: You missed one other point. Sirius literally had to put satellites in space just to create the company; before they even had or paid for their content...(Content- Howard Stern, Jamie Foxx, Elvis Channel, etc.). Sirius had to drop some serious bucks to get where they are, and unfortunately, they're in serious debt; which affects their bottom line and their share price. On a personal note, it's making them resort to lousy business practices like reverse splitting...just so that they can continue to trade on NASDAQ.
MDGC doesn't cost even one quarter of that to move. They don't have to pay for content. In fact they are a delivery system; companies pay MDGC to deliver their company's content. MediaG3 is perfectly positioned.
They can deliver Clear's content or Verizon's. That's why I know that someone is going to try to buy them; and for a lot of money. MDGC's value is in that they control the light switch, and no major company is going to stand for that, forever.
Like lucky says...Hold em.
thebig00, You are my example of the day. I'll tell you a quick story. When I first started trading, about 3 or 4 years ago, I promised myself that I would always stay with technology companies, because I felt that they were my best opportunity for great profit.
As a matter of fact, I went into SiriusXM (SIRI) and I bought in at around .04 cents a share - (150,000 shares). I eventually sold at .79 a share; about 2-1/2 years later; I sold after major shareholders voted to allow a split this May.
My point is this... I invested $6,000 dollars; made $118,500; dollars to a profit of $112,500; but it took almost 3 years. I still look at (SIRI), and the last time I looked, they were over a dollar or thereabouts.
Know this... I made money from this stock by being patient and trusting my instinct...not from a hyped PR. Stop focusing on PRs so much. MDGC is a good stock and you are extemely lucky to have found this company at this stage. I believe that I will make ten times the money that I made with (SIRI);in about 2 years or so. If you have patience and trust in your gut instinct....so will you.
Hey All, MediaG3's New Press Release Is Out !!
www.mediag3.com/pr20100310.html
BullishTrader88. Hey, Thanks for keeping your eyes open and sharing this with us. I love it. I hope that you are well stacked up with shares for what's coming. We are truly lucky to have found this stock at the groungd floor level. It's frustrating at times I know...but it will certainly pay off.
Choicharmfunds; The patent that you directed me to was, at the core, a system that could deliver two totally different types of signal at the same time; within the same band.
Without having read the entire patent, if that's all that they have then it is just another system that could , if needed, fit into MDGC's system.
Your splitting hairs my friend. Don't worry...MDGC has the right patents and technology for 4G; everybody knows it; Sprint and Clear were smart enough to keep interest in LMDS technology through the years; it's starting to pay off and now their competition is playing catch up.
Everybody wants a piece. Don't worry...MDGC has little to worry about at this point...they're already up and running.
Choicharmfunds. I looked at the patent that you led me to and I can see that it's the same patent. MDGC is not he only LMDS Company in the game, they just have the most superior brand of LMDS, (right now), and are flexing their patent protected muscle to capitalize financially on it, before their patents run out. Patents only last for about 20 years from the time of their issue.
The best thing that MDGC can do is to brand their technology so that when their patents run out people will continue to use them without second thought. What do I mean? It's kind of like calling a "photocopy" a "Xerox copy" or "petroleum jelly" "Vaseline". The Xerox company branded that process so well that to this day we still call a photocopy a Xerox copy; even though we may be using an IBM copier.
Truthfully though, I can't see MDGC not being bought and those patents tweaked so that they are extended. In this field, those patents are a huge advantage that I'm sure many companies would love to get their hands on. That's why they're searching for their "in". It's tough being king of the hill....everybody's trying to push you off.
Easyultra. Please remember this. MDGC owns the process and the system. The patents that cite MDGC's patents are parts and pieces that can or may work within the system that MDGC owns.
If the people or companies that invented these components want to use them in MDGC's system...they will have to pay to play.
ShutUpAndGrab... In the nutshell...this is what MDGC has that no other company has. MDGC owns...US Government protected...all by themselves...the process and technology for receiving, processing, shrinking, and retransmitting digital signal; wirelessly; signal that won't weaken with distance; and can be seperated channel by channel in such a unique and superior way that other digital signal transmitting companies can't ignore it.
Here's why they can't ignore it. MDGC provides a platform that allows you to take your lap top from your bedroom to the park 5 miles away; to Walmarts 12 miles away; to your friends house 6 miles from there and back home while all the while having the ability to maintain internet access and upload or download at respectable speeds; That's 4G. MDGC owns that. Other companies can distribute digital signal but they can't seperate and shrink it; or send it miles and not loose signal strength. MDGC owns that.
So any company that supplies digital signal to its customers: Time Warner, Google, Sprint, etc.; who ignores this technology will be stuck transmitting their signals from telephone wires in a Starbucks while everybody else is receiving signal from any where in the city they want.
Don't forget...Imperial Wireless is the company that is supplying Clearwire 4G signal to Portland; MDGC; that's right..it's been successfully done. They are officially in the game. Youtube.com has video of Intel checking to see their Clearwire system work.
Now they are setting up to make moves that will be strong and profitable. Like Lucky says...Hold em...and like I say ...be patient. If you're smart, you'll load up on this stock, while you can still afford it, and wait it out. This company is going to make a lot of smart, patient people very rich.
Hey all. I don't know the "detailed" connection between MediaG3 and Clear but I do understand the surface relationship.
Here goes: MDGC bought Imperial Wireless; Imperial Wireless has multiple antennae locations in 500 cities and 19 states throughout the United States; antennae used to recieve and deliver internet service; internet signals / service provided by Clear; MDGC takes Clear's signal and delivers it through and with their patented technology.
Less we forget...Portland, Oregon, ( one of the first cities to introduce a working, city wide WIMAX 4G system in the US ), is one of the cities in the Imperial Wireless rolodex; which means direct profit for MDGC; who owns Imperial Wireless. Now, the reason that Clear and MDGC can both say in their PR's that they are in the Portland area is because Clear sends the signal while MDGC, through Imperial Wireless' already existing infastructure, and MDGC's patented technology, delivers it.
If it comes across confusing, I apologize, but if you read it a few times it will start to make sense.
There is also, I'm sure, a deeper relationship that ties into Sprint, but they have not disclosed that yet. However, since Sprint owns 51% of Clear; and MDGC sells Clear's signal; and has proven that they can sell it in a unique and patented WIMAX platform; it only makes sense that Sprint will benefit from MDGC's technology too somehow in the future; and guess what my friends...so will MDGC and its shareholders.
Hey all. Here's another link to check out.Warning: You'll have to use your intuition and fill in the blanks. Hint: Troy McClain;Microsoft;Sprint;Clearwire;MediaG3. In this order please.
www.neowin.net/news/main/09/12/23/sprint-and-microsoft-to-announce-wimax-smartphone
Hey all... Question... I wonder if one of the software companies referred to in the latest PR is Microsoft?
Troy McClain ... Bill Gates? It's a stretch... but I don't think it's a long one.
Hey all. Keep in mind that with every merger/aquisition there is a due diligence period; to the benefit of the purchasing company: MDGC; usually 30 -90 days, that conmences after the companies have an agreement.
Companies create these agreements so that the purchasing company can ensure that they're actually purchasing what they think they're purchasing; and if not, can get out of the agreement/ merger or re-negotiate to correct discrepencies in the deal.
This may be what is happening with MDGC. They may be still have a few weeks left on a DD period and can't yet give a good, clear PR.
J_walker. Thank you for setting yourself up to be used as an example. (smile) I have stated and will continue to state that I think it will take this company at least 2 years to turn on; and I'll tell you why.
The company's tier 1 goal is to provide 4G wireless mobile broadband in all 50 states in the US; while simultaneously creating new infrastructure with new technology in China that will hopefully, ultimately provide wireless Television, internet and Phone to tens of millions of Chinese customers.
In the US alone; you have zoning laws, competition issues and politics that have to be ironed out before you even start to get into putting up and testing eqipment; with each US state's political climate being totally different; and I'm sure the same is true for China; and ten fold because of the language barrier and the tough, harsh rural landscape; which is where MDGC wants to put their technology.
Here is where you get to be my example. I may loose every penny that I put into this company. That is the gamble that all of us take by investing in penny or any stock. The difference between me and you is that; 1.) it is obvious that you are reading this stock wrong. MDGC IS A LONG TERM STOCK. If you try to play this stock like it's short term then you will be frustrated;
2.) You either didn't do good thorough research or you don't know how to make a proper judgement on the research you did;
and finally, 3.) You are being publicly, outwardly, childishly and amateurishly emotional about your decision to buy this stock because of reasons 1. and 2.; which is causing you to attack those who disagree with you.
Remember this... MDGC hasn't done anything signifcant yet; and the few good things that they have done, only show that they may be capable of achieving what they want to do long term; patience my friend...patience.
I'll admit...This Troy McClain sounds like a joke, but you never know what he brings to the table. Politics and business always create strange bed fellows.
Think about this: A talking sponge that lives on the bottom of the sea; inside of a pineapple. You wonder how that can work with the seriousness of a network executive; until you connect the dots.
I trust that if MDGC finds that this guy is not going to work, they'll get rid of him.
Hey all. This is the part where I rain on a few parades. I personally can't wait until this stock reaches the neighborhood of around .15 to .30 a share. The reason I can't wait is because it will seperate the day traders from the investors. Day traders will hoot and holler about their gain; sell with a profit and move on to another stock to stress and panic over.
A true investor will still be in the MDGC game; quietly, patiently knowing that there is more to come; and they will know that there is more to come for one specific reason; they themselves researched the company and they understand what the company is trying to do. They don't rely on others to make sure that their decision to invest in MDGC or any company was a sound choice.
Those of you who cry every two weeks for a hype filled PR should invest in HRNF... they love hype and they produce nothing. Personally, I want a company to tell me the truth; when the truth becomes available. I want the company's business actions to make the company valuable, not it's hype. If a company is active, especially one that plays ball with The Chinese Government, The U.S. Government, Google, Comcast, Clearwire and Sprint, you don't need a PR from them, you can always get answers from precision reasearch.
This company, MediaG3 Inc., for right now, is a real company, with a real strategy and the potential to make huge profits for its shareholders... in about 2 years. Right now, they are in the developement stage and are building and establishing. Anyone who thoroughly researches this company on their own will know this to be true.
Hey All. Based on what I read from the MDGC Patents; The thing that MDGC has that other wimax companies don't are 3 primary things; 1 of which is the ultimate advantage.
Summarized - The first thing: Their technology allows them to reduce the size of and seperate digital signals. What that means is this. Let's say that Time Warner offers 500 digital television channels of programming; MDGC's Technology will not only receive the signals, but it will sectorize these signals so that Time Warner can, for example, offer communities that are, let's say, predominantly Hispanic or Black or Italian, etc., specific programs that cater to their culture or community; wirelessly; with an advantage.
The Advantage: MDGC's technology makes the digital televison signals smaller; which means they can fit more of the digital signals into the same sized spectum; which means Time Warner can now offer more of those categorized channels; 10, 20 or even 30 more channels, at almost the same price; without loosing signal quality; wirelessly.
The second advantage: MDGC's technology keeps the signal from distorting and bleeding into other neighboring systems; in other words another company's digital televison signal won't interfere with or interrupt your digital televison signal while you're watching.
The third and greatest advantage: These patents allow them to own the system and the method. Last time, I used a needle and thread to illustrate my point; so again; It's okay to own the patent for the needle and thread but it is more powerful to own a patent that owns " a method for attaching fabric to fabric with string".
That would mean that someone could come up with a sewing machine, but they wouldn't be able to advertise and sell it without putting you in the financial loop, because at the core of it - it's another method of attaching fabric to fabric with string; and by itself would infringe on the patent protecting the needle and the thread.
MDGC is not the only wimax and digital signal processing company in town; they just have very good and protected advantages that make other companies want and have to play ball with them.
With what is about to happen... There are very few businesses that provide things and services that make us say that "we never want to go back to the way it was without it". In my opinion, this is one of those businesses; or a major link in it. After this successfully happens... it's wireless Television in the U.S..
Hey, I read 4 of the 5 patents that MDGC owns and I've come to find that MDGC owns, what I would call, the guts of what is to come.
Anyone who is familiar with patents knows that with any patent, you want to own the method. For example: owning the needle and the thread is fine... but the patent is stronger if you own " a method of connecting cloth material with string".
Summarized: MDGC ownes the following: The system and method for receiving, sectorizing and transmitting digital signals. Signals that include: analog television signals, formatted digital television signals, teleconferencing signals, interactive programming signals, computer system data signals, and video-on-demand signals. {Patent #5,875,396}
The system and the method for narrowcasting digital signals; wirelessly. (Narrowcasting: the act of transmitting specialized programming via television, internet, etc. to specific groups, subscribers, people and or communities.) {Patent #6,243,427}
They own the system and the method for a device that allows two transmitters to share the same antenna; while simultaneously acting as a receiver. {Patent #5,923,229}
They own the system and the method that stops the distortion of digital signal; which has been an industry problem for other MMDS systems. {Patent #5,914,620}
I suggest that you go to www.uspto.gov and read them for yourself. To narrow it down, read the "SUMMARY OF INVENTION" section of the patent. That gets to the point.
In my opinion, MediaG3's systems and technologies are the guts and the "Ace in the Hole" for Clearwire and Sprint's edge in this 4G venture; and 5G as well. There is much more in those patents that would be just too much for me to write. Information that shows me why they were chosen to do the China project; and why I feel that that project will be a huge success for MDGC and its stockholders. Please take a minute to read some of it.
I truly believe that at the end of this rollout; when the company strengthens; maybe in a year or so, some major company will either attempt to or either buy MDGC for their patented technology. I'm riding it all the way. Hope you do too.
Ryanplaya: If you ride this company to the end...you'll be greener than you can imagine.
I'm speaking about the potential buyers from this blog. All blogs have a mood to them; and believe it or not ... info on a blog can hurt a stock. It's naive to think otherwise. People, in case you haven't noticed, don't do the detailed research that they should with companies but rely on blogs and chat rooms. Good chatter creates positive momentum and people buy; negative chatter does the opposite.
When people buy the stocks value goes up.
BullishTrader88, thank you for your positive position with repsect to this stock. Anyone who is seriously researching MDGC outside of the confines of this blog knows that there is a ton of information about what is happening to and around this company.
Investors should stop this whining for a PR. This is not a short term stock. If you don't wrap your minds around that, you're going to be frustrated and flood this blog with emotional, uninformed and negative comments about MDGC; that are totally unnecesary and hurt the stocks potential.
If you pay attention, you'll notice that the advertising blitz has begun...on youtube.com.
www.Youtube.com has a number of great minutes long clips,(Clearwire Portland car ride - parts 1 - 2), that don't mention MDGC but are directly related to their actions as a company and their technologies.
DukeOBass, I think that you are on to something when you speculated that Clear may be in some part dependent on MDGC's technology.
Let me give you some interesting online places to check out to get even more insight:
Go to: WWW.YOUTUBE.COM; in the search engine type: "INTEL WIMAX GURU GIVES HIS TAKE ON SPRINT, CLEAR"
When you're finished with that, also type: "WIMAX CAR RIDE OUTSIDE OF PORTLAND - PARTS 1 AND 2" (Note: From Aug 17th 2009)
And finally checkout: "WIMAX - AIT383 EMERGING WIRELESS TECHNOLOGIES"
These minute long discussions should give you insight into what MediaG3/Imperial Wireless is doing; business wise. Keep in mind that, per their PR releases, MDGC had a direct role in creating the Portland WIMAX System.
Enjoy.
Lossregaining, thank you for your insight into MDGC. I believe that ultimately either Sprint, Comcast, Google or any one of the "strategic investors", (holding about 800 plus million shares of MDGC), will buy MDGC.
This company has so many huge hands in their pot; e.g. The U.S. Government and The Chinese Government. It is truly rare to see a new company emerge with this much promise.
The only way an investor won't ultimately make a huge return on this company is through their own impatience or poor insight into what type of company this is.
Clearwire hinted that they have the foundation for 5G; MediaG3 is in bed with them too. Pay close attention everyone...pay very close attention.
BullishTrader88. Thank you for your thoughts on MDGC. It is obvious that you are truly doing your homework on this company.
Investors need to learn the difference between a long term stock and a short term one. Short term stock companies aren't building....they're changing and moving; and you watch those changes and moves to profit. Long term companies are building the platform to move and change.
MDGC is building. Long term.
I say this because when an investor mistakes a long term stock for short term, it frustrates them; which causes them to not believe in the stock; which finally causes them to make negative blog posts about the stock.
Advice to new investors...learn what it is that you are doing. Are you investing or day trading? They are two totally different things.
Hey All,
I'm new to blogging here but I must admit...it's nice to see that there are others who like MDGC.
Anyone who is wondering why this stock hasn't moved much in price has to realize that the company hasn't done anything yet. In the United States they are just beginning to move. In China: First, equipment has to be created in the US; then shipped to China; built at its location, which from their description, is in a rural chinese province; set up; tested...etc.
Anyone who rides with this stock, who is looking for the stock to go to .10 off of some hyped PR, you will get your wish. the stock will go to ten cents in time. (More than likely in the short term.) However, when you sell it at that price, know that you are, in my opinion, making a huge mistake. This stock is a long term stock...period. You have to give this company and its stock time to build. I would bet that this stock will be trading on NASDAQ in two years;and trading well. ( In order to trade on Nasdaq the stock has to hold a value of more than a dollar for some specified number of weeks.)This stock is going to create millionaires out of those who are smart.
If you research the technology this company holds and the services they offer, you will get a better sense about holding its stock. Start at www.ustda.gov then type in MediaG3 in the search engine. Also ... read that Cohen research report; and not just the part about the company's stock projection, but what the company is attempting to accomplish; all 26 pages. This company is going to be a great catch....for the patient.
