The ten times more efficient is a great read but even I think that is a mis print. For it to cost ten times less money to heat water I think your neighborhood nuclear plant would need to pipe hot water to the city as a free service. Us longs and the plum-beers have pondered that claim before. Still it goes to the mindset and expectations of the company. WDRP expects to have a solid offering for the market that can stand the test of time. This is not your ordinary pinkie. JMO

I am glad your opinion means nothing at all to anyone but you. I would be very happy with 5 gpm using 1/2" cpvc pipe and 120 volts at 12.5 amps. That combination would take over the world. But I don't think that is possible either. So I will wait to hear from the company what they think will be best for the market.

You may be correct. If the components function correctly then it is logical to assume the unit as a whole will work correctly. So good numbers now should drive the pps. I see your point. Mike, my e-mail said we would be getting news regarding in house component testing. It said expectations were running high and low but that they could only report on validated findings. It also said the company was positive and optimistic about testing results and also growth oriented. I am satisfied that all is as it should be. I am long here and have plenty of time for this company to get it right. I will be adding this week when funds clear. GLTA

I am from the country where family, friends and a handshake are still very important. So when a man stands up in a crowd and uses his fathers name as a measure of his commitment,,I want very much to believe. He got that from my post. The results of the component testing will be the PR for this week. IMO. And I think the results will be positive. They may now be testing the whole unit but those results are three weeks out. We still have soom hurdles folks but WDRP has been very systematic with their approach and I have more confidence that this penny will be a dollar than any other I've seen. GLTA longs

Problem with legalizing pot is the fact that the weekend use is measurable 30 days later. Any work place related incident would be blamed on drug use. Lawsuits would never end and if you think todays economy is bad well,,,,,,DAMN!! America would be asleep at the wheel. Everyone would be urged to 'try it'. And I would be the one urging. Nothing wrong with pot once you understand the use and abuse of the stuff. But for a year or two this country would be in slow motion. I would be investing in visine big time!!

Looking at volume today,,it seems the market is willing to wait on those numbers. I think that we have found a very solid low.

It has been a while since I have done any DD on this product but I think the web site states a 30% to 50% savings over tank model water heaters. My supposition is that this was enough to win the award but not good enough to go to market. I believe they wanted to eliminate the potential for the cold water rush that some tankless models have been accused of and also utilize the heat of the magnatrons to increase the efficiency of the 'improved' model. So at this point I do not think that they have a unit just laying around. What they have is being tested. All of this is just my opinion.

Miami,,this is the ONLY reason I have surmised to have hope of something other than a scam. A good con man would PR and dump tons here. And Tom may still,,but I don't see why he would wait this long. There have been many people eager to throw money at this for months. Yet no PR. Too much profit out there for this to go to no bud,,I mean no bid.

Part of the difference is that cold water enters the tank and begins cooling the hot water as soon as you turn on the hot water. This means you must have it very hot to offset the cooling. Huge waste! The difference between a 100 degree shower and a 95 degree shower feels big but actually isn't.

What a stupid question!! If we anticipate huge savings over existing models why would anyone purchase now instead of waiting to see? I think you say things just to antagonize!

I agree with your reply. I over simplified it. What I mean is the homeowner could set it to the temp that suits the needs of the cold natured. Then very little cold would be needed. You seem to take things absolutely literally so that you can find fault. Why don't you use some imagination?

Not sure,,but hope so. It is my understanding that a homeowner will use a digital control to set the temperature. It is my thought that with a little testing one will know what the optimum temp is for their family and set their control. Then,,you would use all hot water for a shower,,but since you are only heating to (98?) the process would be quick and offer more volume. But the big savings is that you do NOT add cold to adjust the temp. With an 80 gallon tank unit you have nowhere near 80 gallons of useble hot water. As soon as you turn on the hot water,,cold water enters the tank and begins to cool the whole tank. So to have hot water you must overheat the water in the tank then cool it at the faucet for use. Tanks are very inefficient. And todays tankless are more efficient but do not produce the amount necessary to run a whole house. IF WDRP can they will rule this category! JMO
