I missed that one. I watched the 1st episode though.
those cannons survive underwater for a long time. That is usually how the site is found, by the cannon being noticed by the magnetometer. Later they use the side-scan sonar, and again the cannons are usually identified 1st in shipwrecks that old.
they were prob shooting blanks. Imagine that explosive power in a brass cannon as were on the ship Victory instead of steel. i would be worried that they would blowup
It became the flagship of the Channel fleet in 1741 and was the last British first-rate vessel to be armed entirely with brass cannon
Bet it was scary lighting those babies off.
Nice, we had groundhog hunts here in Southern IL. when I was
a teenager, although they were real groundhogs. In the late
60s, early 70s before we had coyotes, groundhogs were a real
nuisance for farmers. The state even had a bounty of .50 for each kill.
Although most people did hunt with high pwoered rifles, most
of mine were killed with a .22 around 50 yards. Back then .50
would buy a box of .22 shells. My grandfather enjoyed eating
them as well.

I guess I have been out of the loop too long. i didn't even know Japan manufactured some of the weatherbys.
Found this on the weatherby site:
You can learn the history and lineage of your Weatherby firearm, researched and authenticated through the Weatherby company records. You’ll receive an embossed letter of authenticity which verifies the country of origin, the date your firearm was shipped, where the firearm was originally delivered and a list of features, including any custom embellishments. Each certificate is personally signed by Roy E. Weatherby, Jr., President, and Dean Rumbaugh, Company Historian. Cost for each serial number search is $50 ($75 for Custom rifles, $100 for Special Edition or Commemorative rifles). You may print and mail the Authenticity Order Form or for information, write Company Historian, 1605 Commerce Way, Paso Robles, CA 93446.

Mr. xxxx,
Thank you for allowing me to assist you today. TD AMERITRADE has restricted opening transactions in RCCH. Only closing transactions will still be accepted online. Opening transactions can be placed with a broker after further verification of your identity is performed. You can reach a broker at 1-888-871-9007.
When a stock has been reported to TD AMERITRADE by various third party sources as having suspicious trading activity associated with it, we may make the decision to add the symbol to the suspicious trading list. Our internal sources may alert us to suspicious activity as well. Once this happens, as you know, trades for these securities become restricted. This is done for two reasons.
First, this allows us to monitor trades more closely. We are obviously looking for suspicious trading activity. This could include anything out of the ordinary. This allows us to do our due diligence to make sure that we do not enable further manipulative trading on a security.
I am seeing .0001x.0001 and no trades for a while

Who writes this stuff? A prop wash is for blowing sand away from the relics. It has become frowned on by conservationists, but is helpful in exposing artifacts.
SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwire) -- 01/21/09 -- Deep Blue Marine Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DPBE) announced today that the company's recovery vessel had been lifted out of the water and the crew is installing a prop wash deflector and performing annual maintenance to the hull.
The purpose of the deflector is to move clean surface water down to the murky depths so that the crew can continue to work in poor visibility that exists from time to time at the sites at which the company works.
Wilf Blum, president and CEO, had this to say: "With the addition of the blower, we should be able to increase our workable days by more than 50%.
In 2008 we lost a lot of time due to poor viz at depth. The blower will actually be able to move clear surface water down to the working depths as deep as 50 feet and thus provide much better working conditions for the divers. This is a great step forward and a great benefit to our company."
booty is good! What happen to the PPS?
as it should be. Would be mine.
nice gain

scam/hype is right. I have researched it over the last year. It is the "too good to be true" Momma warned about.
wow, I guess so, and only 104k traded.
Hard to say. The economy crash isn't over in my opinion. people are still losing their jobs. Many just last week.
Hello to you, and no, I just follow you to the good ones. :P
I am personally interested in what lies beneath the deep blue, so companies like this interest me
Deep Blue Marine Inc. Brings on Full-Time Cameraman
SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwire) -- 01/22/09 -- Deep Blue Marine Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DPBE) announced today that the company has retained Scott Briner of Salt Lake City, Utah to work full time on a six-month contract as an underwater photographer.
Mr. Briner returned home from Iraq where he was deployed with the U.S.
Army. He goes into Officer training in September of 2009 and until then will work for the company. He has working knowledge of filming and editing and has assisted the company off and on for the last 60 days.
Wilf Blum, president and CEO, had this to say: "As we have gone forward in the business of recovery, one of the areas in which we have felt a need is in filming and recording of the actual recovery of artifacts. It's a part of the adventure that we want to share with the public as much as possible.
wow!
Still, Gillibrand’s pro-gun positions have aroused opposition in a state where most Democrats, and many Republicans, favor stringent gun control measures. She earned the NRA’s top rating last year and backed a repeal of Washington D.C.’s hand gun ban—even submitting an amicus brief to the Supreme Court in support of pro-gun groups.
“She would not be my choice and I talked to the governor about it two weeks ago,” McCarthy told Politico last night. “This morning I basically started getting calls saying he was going to choose her and I had to speak out, even at the risk of alienating the governor. I do not believe New York should have a senator who has these positions… I just came through the 15th anniversary of when my husband was killed and I my son was maimed from the shooting.”
Several anti-gun groups, including New Yorkers Against Gun Violence, spent Thursday calling Paterson’s office to urge him to pick someone else.
heading back toward all time lows?
