Green Energy Renewable Solutions, Inc. Cleared as Buyer for Purchase of Davison Landfill Assets from Richfield Equities, LLC
Green Energy Renewable Solutions, Inc. (OTCQB: EWRL) (“Green Energy”) announced today that the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan has confirmed the Company as the sole bidder to acquire the Davison Landfill assets of Richfield Equities, LLC, a privately-owned waste management company.
Richfield Equities, LLC voluntarily filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 on September 18, 2012. The Bankruptcy Court converted the Richfield case to Chapter 7 under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in February, 2013, and appointed a Trustee to administer the liquidation of Richfield’s assets, which include the Davison Landfill. Green Energy, acting as a stalking horse bidder, entered into an asset purchase agreement to acquire the Davison Landfill assets on April 29, 2013 for $1,400,000. No other bidders emerged, clearing the way for the sale to Green Energy, which is expected to close on July 1, 2013.
The Davison Landfill, situated in Davison, Michigan, approximately ten miles southeast of Flint, Michigan (Genesee County) is the state’s second largest landfill, as defined by available airspace. With nearly 400 acres and 28 million cubic yards of available airspace, the Davison Landfill offers a useful life expectancy in excess of 35 years at current projected disposal levels. It represents one of the only two independently owned MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) permitted landfills within its geographic market and is substantially closer to the population centers and to Canadian hauling routes. Green Energy is currently in discussions with various local waste collection operations and operations domiciled in Canada to accept waste at the Davison Landfill and intends to accept Canadian generated waste going forward.
Joseph Durant, Chief Executive Officer of Green Energy, stated, “The acceptance of our bid for the Davidson Landfill by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court is a major development for our company. We have secured our bid with funds placed in escrow, our financing is in place, and we are ready to move forward on this project immediately after the purchase is closed. Our merger with Cirque Energy has expanded our management team and capabilities, which positions the Company to commence landfill operations within a very short time-frame. This first project in our new and expanded pipeline of development programs is a perfect fit with our Company’s mission of finding waste streams, securing them, and maximizing their value.”
Roger Silverthorn, Chief Financial Officer of Green Energy added, “We are very excited by the potential scope of the Davidson Landfill project. Our plans include recycling and waste diversion which will dramatically reduce the MSW volume entering the landfill, generate revenue from the sale of high value recyclable waste, and extend its useable life by an estimated 20-25 years. We expect this project to have a positive financial impact on our company and a postive environmental impact on the region.”

You Think that moving forward there will be a market for mobile child safety software? With the increasing work load parents face to meet economics requirements. Parents are being forced to provision cell phones to children as early as fist and second grade....
Mobile-centric applications and interfaces: Here touch, gesture and voice search is going to change the way mobile apps work in the future, Cearley says. By 2014, there will be more than 70 billion mobile application downloads from app stores every year. By 2014, at least half of the tools optimized for app store application development in 2010 will have been acquired or will have ceased to exist.
Social and contextual user experience: According to Gartner, context-aware computing uses information about an end user's or object's environment, activities connections and preferences to improve the quality of interaction with that end user or object. A contextually aware system anticipates the user's needs and proactively serves up the most appropriate and customized content, product or service. The tipping point here could be technology such as near-field communications getting into more and more devices. Some interesting facts here: By 2015, 40% of the world's smartphone users will opt in to context service providers that track their activities with Google, Microsoft, Nokia and Apple continuously tracking daily journeys and digital habits for 10% of the world population by 2015, Cearley says.
but mobile devices will have access to data and enough capability to perform analytics themselves, potentially enabling use of optimization and simulation everywhere. Going forward, IT can focus on developing analytics that enable and track collaborative decision making.

Creating & Enforcing Policies
More and more agencies have been adopting policies regarding distracted driving. But policies aren’t as effective without a strategy for backing them up, said Matt Howard, chief marketing officer at Ageis Mobility, a developer of distracted driving products.
“It’s one thing to have a policy on a piece of paper, but it’s entirely different to allocate the focus and budget necessary to ensure compliance,” said Howard. “Whether it’s employing consequences or compliance technology, employees need to know their agency is taking distracted driving seriously.”
Folks this will be a big market at some point:
The technology is there someone needs to compile it and make it applicable and functional...
e.g - Via Blue tooth, RF etc. If your sitting in the front seat of a vehicle or any moving equipment (Tractor, Train, Plain, Crane). A signal is detected, a batch file is sent or triggered on phone to:
1 - Disable Texting
2 - Disable Incoming and Outgoing Calls
3 - Enable Emergency call function Only
4 - Function XXXX
Cell Phone Use
General Statistics
1-A third of teens self-report texting or emailing while driving (in the prior month), a proven deadly distraction for all drivers and especially teen drivers.
2-Nearly 70 percent of Americans ages 18 to 64 recently chatted on their phones while driving, and about 30 percent of this group sent text messages while behind the wheel.
3-Cell phone use behind the wheel reduces the amount of brain activity associated with driving by 37 percent.
4-Crash risk is four times higher when a driver uses a cell phone, whether or not it’s hands-free.
5-A typical teen sends and receives about 100 text messages a day.
6-Some activities—such as texting—take the driver’s attention away from driving more frequently and for longer periods than other distractionsy.6

Distracted Driving: More of a Problem in the United States than in Europe
Talking, texting, and reading email behind the wheel may be more of a problem in the United States than in Europe. A recent CDC study compared the percentage of distracted drivers in the United States and seven European countries: Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Overall, the study found that a higher percentage of U.S. drivers talked on the phone and read or sent emails or texts while driving than drivers in several other European countries. For example, the study found that 69 percent of U.S. drivers ages 18-64 years old reported that they had talked on their cell phone while driving within the 30 days before they were surveyed, compared to drivers from the United Kingdom.
The study also found that about one-third of drivers in the United States reported that they had read or sent text messages or emails while driving, compared to just 15 percent of drivers from Spain.
Distracted Driving in the United States: a Problem on the Rise
Each day, more than nine people are killed and 1,060 more are injured in crashes that involve a distracted driver. Consider that:
In 2011, 3,331 people were killed in crashes involving a distracted driver compared to 3,267 in 2010.
In 2011, 387,000 people were injured in motor vehicle crashes involving a distracted driver.
In 2010, "distraction" was reported as being a factor in nearly one in five crashes (18 percent) in which someone was injured.
In June 2011, more than 196 billion text messages were sent or received in the United States, up nearly 50 percent from June 2009.
Note 2011 Data - Could be 30% more on all counts!!!

I have plenty, thanks for asking
Good questions:
I do know this, The stop texting while driving software market will be huge. Human nature is to push the envelope (let me answer this text its important) no lives are at stake, governing entities Mothers, Employers, Municipalities will need to be in control by using software with interface to disable texting fucntions!!!
People are creatures of habit often needing external guidelines. sort of like parental control!!
See the end of article below. Awareness is having minimal impact on texting while driving!!!
http://www.rcrwireless.com/article/20130524/carriers/carriers-commit-stop-texting-driving-drivers-hit-road-memorial-day-weekend/
Carriers are committing marketing dollars and mindshare to a national campaign to stop drivers from texting behind the wheel. Verizon Wireless, Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile US have all joined AT&T’s It Can Wait campaign, as hae 200 other organizations. Their efforts will support a new national advertising campaign, a nationwide texting-while-driving simulator tour, and retail presence in tens of thousands of stores.
“Texting while driving is a deadly habit that makes you 23 times more likely to be involved in a crash,” said AT&T Chairman & CEO Randall Stephenson. “Awareness of the dangers of texting and driving has increased, but people are still doing it. With this expanded effort, we hope to change behavior. Together, we can help save lives.”
Teen lives are the most at risk, especially during the summer months. The Memorial Day weekend marks the beginning of the period knows as the “100 Deadliest Days on the roads” for teen drivers.
Several device manufacturers are also joining the effort. Pantech, HTC and Samsung are including the AT&T DriveMode® no-texting-while-driving mobile app preloaded on phones for AT&T customers.
The campaign will focus on the stories of people who are living with the consequences of texting while driving. Their stories will be told through various media including TV, radio, digital and social. The first story in the campaign will be of Xzavier Davis-Bilbo, who is paralyzed from the waist down after being hit at the age of five by a driver who was texting.
“Mobile technology connects us in many cool ways, but adults and teens need to put it on hold while behind the wheel,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile US, Inc. “Knowing the risks is not enough. By simply putting the phone down, thousands of tragedies can be prevented every year. It’s time to end texting while driving – for good.”
But the campaign has a long way to go to change driver behavior. In a recent survey 49% of commuters admitted to texting while driving, and more than 40% pf those called it a habit
That's 3.5 mil shares will sell in one day...or possible one hour if we have a 20 mil share day...
Here say, insignificant, trivial...
What is important is not to provide others with opportunity to make bank on your shares...
That's peanuts, new company just garnered 1.5 mil for purchase of property...
All of those notes are from old company operation....One nice deal and it Kaboom time...
Thats 3.2~ mil share available on the 30th ?
Cool i Like that!!!
First order of business for Steve Berman would be to use his affiliations to garner state contracts to prevent state and government workers from testing while driving..
State and Local Texting While Driving Laws
Like other traffic laws, texting while driving laws come from state and local governments (municipalities and counties). While federal laws have been enacted to ban texting while driving by certain federal employees, for most people the legal implications of texting while driving depend on state and local law.
A fast growing number of states have enacted laws specifically banning texting while driving. In addition, many counties and municipalities have enacted laws against texting while driving. The danger posed when drivers take their eyes off the road to read, type or send a message has caused texting while driving laws to multiply even faster than laws punishing drivers who use handheld mobile phones.
Some states which have not specifically banned texting while driving for adults have banned it for "novice drivers" -- meaning young or new drivers, depending on the state. Some novice driver texting laws punish texting by drivers under 18, while others apply the ban to all drivers under 21. Even older drivers fall into some states' novice driver texting laws if they are driving under a learner's permit, provisional license or intermediate license.
Some states without text message bans for all drivers have banned texting while driving by school bus drivers, public transit drivers, and drivers in school zones.
There's no flipping people holding someone is selling plain to see on L2. If is Asher or not that's to be determine..
