i'm new to the co. how often has this happened in the past?
that's funny you should mention VLO. i was out of it for a while and bought more today, based on the same logic you just outlined. they are, more or less, a monopoly. who can touch 'em? and what a nice HEDGE considering the times we're living in lately.
just a heads up. the market's are closed tomorrow for the easter holiday. good luck on monday.
and have a great weekend, both of you.
hey, no offense folks, but last i checked this was the ZP board. if you want to go rip each other apart why not just find a designated OT board and have at it. all the negativity around here is getting to be a bit much, IMHO.
thanks.
this might explain why IFLB has been down. it got off the REG SHO list today. imho it's only up from here.
http://www.buyins.net/tools/short_list.php?dys=-1
sorry to hear that, rev. i've been there, and it's really no fun whatsoever. for your sake i hope this CEO is on the level. start looking at those fib retracement numbers and place your bet for an uptick. i've got my eye on this one, too. good luck and have a great weekend.
well, that's a bit more encouraging, isn't it? hope you were on the sidelines today. OUCH. what a tsunami of selling.
does anyone know what the status is with the new rig at kerr B 2 H, and the second lateral? also i'm not sure what the very latest results are with kerr 1-H. i know they hit oil and gas in that well, but monitoring of initial production was supposed to happen in april according to the website (nicely done, btw).
would love to hear some numbers if anyone has 'em.
thanks.
good for you, peorge! :)
i'm glad i added today... just had a little hunch.
ggooooooo NDOL!!
well for my first day i think AMHD did just great. glad i found it!
extremely bullish commentary on ethanol on CNBC right now.
GOOOO VRDM!!!
gotta love those 2 million share blocks, this stock is incredible!!
okay, now after a few weeks it's looking a bit better for IFLB, imho. anyone else care to discuss it?
yeah, IMHO this is a good spot to start building a position. it's been on a few people's radar lately. they make gaming devices... not a bad market, eh? from their most recent PR:
"The Phantom Lapboard was nominated at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) alongside Nintendo's DS (Dual Screen) and Sony's PSP (PlayStation Portable) for the conference's Game Critics Awards in the "Best of Show Hardware/Peripheral" category. The Phantom Lapboard is an extremely innovative peripheral that enables players to control games designed for keyboard and mouse usage with as much agility as they are used to in the office, from the comfort of the couch or easy chair. The Lapboard rotates for left- and right-handed users and also inclines on a 90-degree angle with a hard surface below for the Phantom Mouse. The device comes either wired or wireless and provides USB ports and headphone/microphone ports."
come to think of it, doesn't this look a little interesting:
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=iflb&sid=0&o_symb=iflb&f...
i would wait for a lot more volume before making any big bets on IFLB, but it looks like it's breaking its downtrend already. what do you think?
oh, and here's another take on it, fwiw. sort of like asking the magic 8-ball:
http://americanbulls.com/StockPage.asp?CompanyTicker=IFLB&MarketTicker=OTC&TYP=S
me, too. just came across it last night. the chart looks incredible. good luck, everybody!
INSQ, IFLB, STDE and AMHD all looking very strong today, too!
CHYS is breaking out big time. revenues increased 2,132% and 742% over previous year. wireless, satellite, broadband, telecom play. just hit 2.90 on big volume. p/e of 25 and just getting started growing. this one is a slam dunk, IMHO, but do your own DD!!
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=CHYS.OB
walker i PM'd you. did you get it?
are we gonna be next? jmho, but this gives parkin a lot more credibility where AURC is concerned, and also may explain why AURC isn't getting so much attention lately.

hey, ninja i've been trying to find the 3 patents for the LTC technology and can only locate this number: Method Divisional of U.S. patent number 09/022,869
can you send me a link? thanks!
I'M IN. let's get this board started!!
dustin i have no idea what approach SVMI plans to use, but let's say just one fleet of diesel rigs uses this and it performs beautifully. how long would it take for the rest of the world to catch on?
what if you could buy one of their kits at kragen auto or pep boys? they'd sell a few of 'em, wouldn't they. LOL
here's an example of just how mainstream "green" approaches are becoming:
http://www.socialfunds.com/news/article.cgi/article1138.html
large megalithic corporations are going green because they know it will help their bottom line. THESE ARE EXCITING TIMES, NO? AND WHAT A GREAT WAY TO MAKE A PROFIT.
rev, i'm out because it spooked me that i never got a return call from IR. for days and days. it's all very murky. management is russian, but lives in the uk? not sure. yes, they've got offices in various places, the one i spoke with had 4 employees, but who's verifying any of this? it's so opaque. this may turn out to be a great company, but if so i think i'll have time to figure that out before the stock takes off and leaves me behind.
the initial spike was driven, from what i understand, by a PR campaign. stock promoters were saying 'this is a stock that can go to 16 dollars'. of course everyone piled on, and then it collapsed like a house of cards. who do you think sold at the top? i could go on. the last PR was nearly 2 weeks ago.
based on what's known so far would you want to open an account with these people? who else would want to make such a leap of faith? it all stacks up to make me want to just watch from the sidelines. i wish you luck with whatever you choose to do.
i think this says it all:
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=svmi&sid=0&o_symb=svmi&f...
if i could make a wish it would be for a PR, financials, and a website... all coming in about an hour after tomorrow's closing bell. what an easter basket.
trading on monday would be hysterical. imagine the pent-up demand!
i've got a good sized stack myself. sold some dogs over the last week and loaded up.
ANY DAY NOW, RIGHT???
i must admit, i don't normally get this excited about a stock, and i think we're all in on the ground floor with this one.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bourke_Engine
dustin, lots of great ideas never make it to market because entrenched technology, and the corporations who market it, have the muscle to keep a better mousetrap out of the public view. do a google search for "bourke engine" and you'll see what i mean. it was (and still is) incredibly fuel efficient and the exhaust, due to high heat combustion, had nearly zero hydrocarbons. new technology, you ask? nope. built in 1932...
here's a start:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bourke_Engine
http://bourke-engine-project.com/index2.html
http://www.niquette.com/books/sophmag/bourke.htm
a quote that sums it up nicely:
"Reality is two. Two-point-zero, to be precise. When it comes to "specific horsepower," that's it. Two-point-zero is about the limit for any engine: Two-point-zero horsepower for every pound of fuel consumed in an hour...
Nobody knows how to build an engine with a specific horsepower more than two-point-zero. More than two-point-zero would give new meaning to motorized efficiency. Make that happen and you have beaten today's best engines with their extra valves and plugs and stratified charge. You have defeated Diesel and Otto and Wankel. Whatever you have there, patent the thing! Detroit is your oyster. And Tokyo and Munich. More than two-point-zero horsepower for every pound-per-hour of fuel consumed and you deserve the Medal of Freedom, the Nobel Prize. You will leave financial empires for your progeny.
The Bourke Engine operates at three-point-three."
i agree with you both about the need for a spokesperson but can't imagine they wouldn't hire a public relations firm to launch the product. that's common practice for a company of any size.
as for conspiracies in the auto industry, what conspiracy? it's obvious the oil companies want us to consume as much of their product as possible, isn't it?consider that a 1982 toyota tercel gets better gas mileage than just about any car made since. the auto industry has lobbied congress consistently to maintain lax CAFE standards. huge tax credits have been doled out to buyers of SUVs for "business", including those who don't even need such a large vehicle. why? because oil companies, our government, and automakers have all been moving in lockstep since henry ford's model T.
that said, $3 to $4 a gallon gas will soon push american consumers to demand alternative energy and increased efficiency. it's already happening, and there's no stopping it. that's why i think SVMI is in the right place at the right time, why this technology really works, and why we are just now hearing about it.
if we get the right kind of PR even centenarians will get all hot and bothered! LOL
but, yeah, i agree with you. the sky really is the limit. it's just a matter of EGEI partnering with the right companies that already have visibility and want to add their marketing muscle to EGEI's genius technology.
i could see a medtronic picking them up, too. total buy-out. the price would peg and we'd be sitting pretty. but i'd much rather see the company grow and do it in their own way as buyouts have a tendency to limit shareholder's gains.
btw, thanks to all who have been posting the new PRs as they come. i've yet to work out a way of getting up to the minute PR release info on EGEI, and, with the way it tends to trade on news, this is cause for some concern!
good luck all.
thanks for the news post. IMHO this is just one more reason why EGEI should be on everyone's list, yet the stock is going nowhere. very frustrating. i think all we need is one big PR about a major contract and we'll be vaulted to a whole new level of visibilty. i'm still holding strong.
so that's two of us who never got a call back from rozenberg. doesn't build a lot of investor confidence, does it?
borris, that's exactly why i pulled the trigger on VRDM today, too. i think we'll close out the week strong and keep on a bullish trend throughout the summer.
something tells me you'll be getting it sooner than any one of us thinks, IAMSAM. perhaps VERY soon...
a little DD for the board:
so i wanted to check out the SVMI team and did a bit of research on their legal council, gregory sichenzia. first article that popped up is about him bringing thomas equipment's IPO to the AMEX:
http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/060313/95571.html
here's a quick quote:
"Sichenzia, who counsels public and private companies in all securities laws matters, from complex financing transactions and listings on various stock exchanges to everyday regulatory requirements, served as legal counsel for Thomas Equipment during the process of listing the company on the American Stock Exchange.
Thomas Equipment's listing on the American Stock Exchange is a symbol of the growing trend of companies who join the public arena through the process of reverse mergers that Sichenzia's firm has pioneered.
Sichenzia is a recognized expert in reverse mergers and PIPEs and has structured innovative merger and acquisition transactions, and has represented companies and investment banks in initial public offerings of securities, private equity financing transactions (PIPEs), and the resulting resale registration statements associated with these financings. In fact, under Sichenzia's stewardship, SRFF has risen to become the number one PIPE law firm in the United States."
and the TREND is your friend. the last few months have been sweeeeeet.
WE HAVE .11, FOLKS!
i doubt anyone is going to stop talking about ethanol for a long, long while. new cars are being developed that use straight ethanol. that is a paradigm shift, imho. oil out, ethanol in. puts VRDM in the slingshot.
i put in a call to the company, to speak with IR, and a woman took a message and told me i'd get a call back "tomorrow". that was a week ago. i've since sold.
nice move to the upside taking shape. higher highs and higher lows. LOVE IT.
chas, just wanted to note the ceo's name has no "s" at the end of it. it's "gerald parkin".
