Really depends on how much time you can spend on it. Trading requires a whole different set of skills. Chart reading, bounces, MA crosses, sentiment, and a whole host of other things. Traders are looking for 10-20% then they move on. All depends on your financial situation and time frame really. Investing is for the long term, trading is for the short term. Yet another thing people on here get confused about day after day. This stock is an investment for the future if you believe in their business model. With Snakes and their board game distribution I whole heartedly believe in their model and it's only going to get more and more popular as families and groups of people look for alternative means of entertainment. Throw in Gro3 and NSI and this company has all the makings of a monster down the road. Will there be bumps, of course. Will there be pain, absolutely. But nothing is built in a day or a month or a year. I used to just trade when I was in college and I was good at it. Now I'm a little more risk adverse and I look for long term plays. I've been burned before on some penny stocks, haven't seen any with the potential that AMFE has and that's with 12 years of trading under my belt. Started with a blackberry when I was 18 and in college, trading bank stocks during the financial crisis.
Hmmmm I've never had that happen before. I usually wait a bit though if I'm going to sell shares and then purchase more at a lower price. I've also never traded through Fidelity so I can't speak to their platform and how trades are executed, unfortunately.
Exactly! I had a feeling he'd pick those stocks all of which are down the same amount AMFE is after the initial hype run. POT* is worse as people bought all the way into the $.90s after the initial run thinking it would only go up and it has crashed and crashed hard. Longs are investing here not flipping, not trading. Fundamentals are a long's best friend, the price will eventually catch up.
The shares will sell at market value but lower your cost basis
You're welcome. What's a message board for if you can't ask questions and get answers to help you invest properly and mitigate risk as much as possible. Average down if you can, these are Kmart Bluelight specials here. When this thing pops, which it will, it's really going to pop. One board game could mean tens of millions in revenue and the holiday season is quickly approaching. FY18 Q4 and FY19 Q1 are going to be monstrous.
And you got to be careful when you sell. Lot sizes are calculated on a First in First out basis but you can choose which lots to sell instead of having fidelity do it for you.
Average down if you can. I did yesterday when I added at $.0738, those shares are in the green. I'm down overall, close to 40%. That's the nature of the pinks and investing in general. Charts don't mean squat in pinky land. We all know this stock isn't worth $.08, should be in the high teens but again the nature of the pink sheets and no retail or institutional investors... YET
People have unrealistic expectations for a company in hyper growth that isn't diluting nor have entered into any toxic debt agreements. The angry ones are those hoping to time the audit/uplist and flip their shares. Longs don't care about the short term, the fundamentals get stronger Quarter after Quarter and Year after Year, the price will follow. The share price has stagnated for two reasons, obsession of the audit, and MM price manipulating.
Market orders will fill, what a limit price does though is allow you to fill orders at or lower than what your limit price was set at depending upon the lot sizes. Market orders won't allow that. For example a market order at $.08 will always execute at $.08. But if you have a limit order in at $.08 and the price is $.081 and it drops to $.079 some may fill at $.08 and some may fill at $.079.
Etrade. Don't use market orders, limit orders only. If you're uncomfortable with limit orders think of them as a crossing point. Currently the price is .820. If you placed a limit order for .82 it would execute automatically. If you put a limit order in say for .08 and it goes down to .079 it'll execute at either $.08 or $.079 depending upon the bid size and how many are available for sale at that point.
Personally I believe the audit is done and Roger is waiting for the uplist process to complete for maximum result. We know MM are manipulating the price right now, he'd really screw them if the scenario above were to be true. Just a quick message, "We've uplisted", or "Uplisting Complete. JMHO
Or it would increase liability. Remember we went over this. Assets=Liabilities+Shareholder's Equity. A very basic accounting principle. An increase in asset must be offset by an increase in EITHER a liability OR Shareholder's Equity.
Down here meaning pinky land. I'm in California and use Etrade. The large investment firms in the US ie Etrade, Fidelity, Ameritrade or whoever else only allow limit orders in penny land and on the OTC markets
He proved to us it was a market order and international firms do allow Market orders not just limit orders in pinky land
Q4 numbers this year could push AMFE close to $20M in FY18 total revenue
Market orders aren't filled down here, only limit orders at least with the major investments firms. When did you input your limit order of $.08 before or after it crossed that threshold?
Yet their gross profit numbers INCREASED YoY at a higher percentage than their revenue increased YoY in Q3 which should tell you what? Either A their margins are getting better or B they're becoming more efficient.
Accumulated more today in the low $.07s :)
And they have sliced bread :)
They have no toxic debt and they aren't diluting. Serious question, if a company REDUCES their O/S how could they be diluting? When their notes were at a price of $.10 how could they be diluting?
CBWT* down from their high of $2.35 to $.98 today. POT* down from their high of $.90 to $.30 today. RXM* down from their high of $.26 to $.07. LVV* down from their high $.08 to $.05 and the list goes on and on. Stocks run and then they retrace, literally every single stock in the history of stocks does this. In Pinky land it's even worse due to the outside manipulation of the price and the lack of retail and institutional investors. It's not a hard concept to grasp really
They don't have high debt, nor are they diluting. In fact the O/S was just reduced again, the Q3 fins outline that for your reference.
Not sure how it's hype when AMFE has already surpassed all of FY17 revenue in 3 q's so far this year.
I'm not calling anyone anything. It just boggles my mind though that there are some here who believe that stocks don't go up and down. That there isn't market manipulation down here in Pinky land. That an audit that was started less than a year ago would be done by now. That everyone in pinky land thinks they'll be a millionaire in a year. That a stock will go from $.06 to $1.00+ in a year's time with no retracement or levels of support or resistance. You know as well as I do this stock isn't worth $.07 so why are we down here? JRF said it, every single person is caught up on an audit and not what the company is actually doing. And MM are taking advantage of it and so should everyone else. Yesterday was a panic sale, we've rebounded nicely so far and if you believe in the fundamentals of the company and what their vision is for the future, the short term should be of no concern. Would you agree the company is in better position today than it was a year ago?
Added more at $.0734 :) just like the earth revolves around the sun, AMFE is making money every single day. Why get caught up on the short term when this will be a blip on the radar next year. People wanting to be millionaires overnight. Those same people believe stocks only go up in straight lines.
Back from Tahiti and Bora Bora, what a Monday today! Fake News and MM shaking that share tree for loose and weak holders. Good riddance to those who panic sold are thought somehow AMFE was under SEC investigation. The epitome of fake news. I only wish I could buy down here. Damn house building haha
Thanks Coy. Great job on the board. Nice to have rational conversations again with intelligent people. Thank you to Rocket too. Hopefully while I'm gone we get some news.
I'm out AMFE family. Honeymoon time :) I'll be checking in periodically. Tahiti and Bora Bora here I come.
A 35% increase in Rev YoY, a historically slow quarter for AMFE and a 65% increase in Gross profit. The numbers prove the opposite is happening. Easy as pie to see it.
The great thing by freedom of choice is if you believe Roger mislead people than why the interest in this company? That makes no sense at all. Would you continue to do business with a company that mislead you? I sure as hell wouldn't. And in no way has Roger mislead me. Everything that he has said will happen is happening. Easy as pie to see
Large scale investors/retail investors want to see results. When the gaming distribution results come in it'll spike. When the Q4 results come in it'll spike. When it shows AMFE increased rev by close to 300% YoY it'll spike. Remember we're already double our revs from last year through 3 quarters this year. MM and manipulators are driving this price down, as well as flippers who have been attempting to time the audit for weeks now. People buying low on the premise the audit "might" come out, when it doesn't they unload. No one who understands the long term vision of this company is selling right now. Why are we so caught up on the month to month on goings instead of looking into the future a year or 18 months from now? We know certain things WILL happen in that longer time frame. Tempe will be open, Midtown will have had their liquor license for a year which greatly increases profit margins. Gaming distribution orders will be announced, from big box retailers like Walmart and Amazon. All of those things we know will happen. I wouldn't be surprised if in 18 months AMFE went from 3 to 6 locations. And then from 6 to 9. I haven't even mentioned GRO3 and what will happen when the new pesticide laws go into effect. There's so much happening in the long term, why are we so short sided?
Time and patience people. The longs will be proven right over time. Easy as pie to see. I've missed out on a few runs. RXM* from .02 to .20 and LVV* .01-.08. It happens, and I'm secure in my investment here as the potential for what this could be long term far outweights any of the minor short term bumps in the road regarding our current PPS.
So much focus on one tiny piece of the overall viability of the company that will only look at things in the past. It'll shed hardly any light on Gro3 or S&L, will not have any of the franchises in there, none of the distribution deals for games, yet all anyone wants to do is read the audit. It'll be like reading the first version of a college textbook when we're now on version 3.Yes we need it to uplist, and yes it'll come at some point but it changes nothing and will tell us nothing the company has done in the last year and a half. Those that are attempting to time the audit are the only ones upset. Easy as pie to see
So they filed paperwork and paid for an auditor for an audit that will never come out? Such an elaborate scheme
AMFE Truth: Almost a 100% increase in revs in 3 quarters compared to all of last year. Next!
Pennsylvania just passed their Medical Cannabis law. Wouldn't be surprised if Gro3 ends up in those grow shops in Pennsylvania and could be much sooner than later.
July 1st is a major deadline in California. Not enough people are talking about this here. Most pot shops will have to shudder their doors if they do not have the capital to retrofit their grow shops in order to be compliant with the new pesticide laws approaching very quickly. 70-80% of cannabis shops will not be able to sell their product in California after July 1.
Only $28CAN/person for those 18 people. For hours of entertainment some food and drinks. Think about giant corporate parties. More and more executive type people are frequenting these style locations. And then of course their everyday clientele They can literally service anyone from 5-100.
And when the audit domino falls so will the rest. GRO3 will happen whenever it happens. One game contract could net AMFE tens of millions of dollars
You’ve determined the overall value of AMFE? How could the value of the company be decreasing when their revenues YoY are increasing?? Not possible sir.
